Its was great. We stayed in the private apartment. Was very very clean and also newly renovated I guess because lots of stuff looked brand new. David made sure that we have everything we need in the flat. He also gave us bikes so we can go to Peniche to check around after the lectures. Courses were great and fun. It was not like big schools with lots of students and teachers. Its more a friendly environment. Sometimes we were just two in the lecture with one teacher, sometimes more (max 10) with 2 teachers. David and Claudio are great teachers. They made sure that everybody is getting enough attention. Thank you David,Claudio and Emma for the great week:)

My husband and I spent a great week with Tribo do Mar in August. We lived in a super nice, clean and comfortable studio and had everything we needed there. Even some welcome wine :) David and Emma are the great hosts and were always ready to help us. David and Claudio are great teachers and really took care of us, they also made it fun to learn. Also important information about Praia de Consoloção: there are not so many other surf schools in the area, so all the waves were ours! We also enjoyed our photosession, special thanks to Emma!

My daughter and I spent a great time in Portugal , Thanks to Emma and David's wonderful service and friendliness. Their apartment was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Even with some welcome fruit and wine! They showed us around town with advices to best restaurants and places to visit. Whenever I needed help, Emma responded immediately and was for help. They took us to a beautiful view of Peniche and a delicious restaurant. This place is perfectly situated for surfing, diving, or even to spend some relaxing beach&sun vacation. I definitely recommend this place. We miss Emma and David's smile and friendliness!

We stayed in the apartment for one week in January and had an amazing time. The apartment is beautiful and comfortable with easy access to supermarkets, bakeries, bars and the Consolação beach. Emma and David are super nice hosts and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. They had prepared the apartment with toys and necessities for our 1-year old daughter and guided us to the best surf spots for the day. They arranged a nice barbecue in the surf house together with the other guests and took us on a trip to the Buddha garden on a day with no surf. We hope to return soon!

Me and my brother had an amazing week! A bit unfortunate with the wind but David and Emma took us around and managed to find spots for us to surf anyway and gave us a great week. A cosy house close to the beach.. what more can you ask for?!

Efter några dagar av surf med instruktören Claudio på Tribo Do Mar är jag såld på surf! Så roligt! Claudio är lugn, trygg och pedagogisk och väldigt peppande. Tribo De Mar har varit super på alla plan. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

Fiz SUP na barragem de S. Domingos e foi fantástico! A Emma é espectacular! Para mim, que tenho pouquíssíma experiência, as suas indicações técnicas foram preciosas. Voltei no dia seguinte para experimentar umas ondas na praia da Consolação, com o Cláudio. Mais uma experiência que adorei! Vou voltar! Great staff!!

Ma fille Lisa a pris des cours particuliers avec Juan.. Un bonheur .. Ma fille a progressé énormément , Juan et l ensemble des moniteurs sont super accessibles , marrants .. Bref quand je reviendrais, je fonce chez eux . De plus , Consolacao petit ville sans là tourisme de masse est c est donc parfait .. Bonne condition de surf

Have been back to Tribo do Mar many times over the past few years. Around Peniche is a great place to surf, whether you are learning to surf and taking lessons or are more experienced and take the 'surf guiding' option. David and the instructors will make sure they find the best wave and conditions for you. Consolacao is a really nice place to be based too, with the O Bom Pecado bakery for a delicious breakfast or treat, and the Hot Spot cafe-bar for an sunset caipirinha overlooking the beach! We love the surf house accomodation too - it's a short walk from the village and the beach, but there's a lovely garden to chill out in after a day in the waves!
