Swayambhu Restaurant has typical Indian/Nepalese Food Menu. The Restaurant is situated in the heart of Lisbon. It has variety of Typical Indian/Nepalese dishes in Menu. Some of them are Mo:Mo, Chow Mein, Thukpa, Dal Bhaat Tarkari and so on. The Restaurant has good luck from both outside and inside. The Staffs are very Friendly and Polite. They smile all the time. The lady in the Counter speak English very well. Although, the restaurant has lots of good aspects, it has some bad points to improve. They have to provide some dishes to make customers busy. It takes more time to arrive dishes. Meanwhile, they can provide some Starters. In overall, the Restaurant is growing the Business very well. If you are looking for typical Nepalese/Indian food, I will suggest you to visit once. I, personally really appreciate the Service. :)

Very authentic! Especially all the urin & urin smell in the restroom. No soap, toilet paper or hand towels was a nice touch. Food was good but I would hate to see the kitchen.

First impression is bad impression because all kinds of ingredients not found in the food what we got in Menu card. Some foods are tastes like old stuck from many days but thukpa is best one. Decoration inside restaurant is quite good. In conclusion I can suggest them to look after others health if you want to earn good things in your life. Thank you!! For your service

Firstly .. we were planing to go this restaurent from long time but today we got time to go in this restaurnet . Place was okey . we ordered some starter like Potato,cucumber, carrot pickle and chicken choila( spicy).. With in 30 second we got our food pickle( potato,cucumber,carrot) after order. when we tried it was so cold just like it was took from fridge and serve to us directly from frigde .. and potato was missing in pickle. We told to waiter about our pickle that we missing potato and she repiled that "we wrote only in menu card , we dont serve potatto with pickle we were really shocked and dissaponted because she didnt inform before we order. To be honest service was also bad. At finally we order momo and thuppa . Momo was not so good not so bad but thuppa was awesome . We enjoyed having a thuppa..

We stumbled upon the place! Based on its view from the street we expected a cozy place but not too fancy. It turned out to be a gem! Super affordable! A lot of small dishes and 2.50€ for a liter of super bock! I wish I could give 10 5-star reviews so this place gets more hits. Also it’s a great neighborhood so you’re not out on a limb.

perfect place for authentic Nepali food. for anyone wanting to try real authentic nepali food, this is the best place. Be sure to try the Nepali thali...and the best part about it, unlimited top ups! also be sure to try the momos, very juicy and succulent. the owner is also a very lovely person, he was very kind to us. enjoyed the food here, will be sure to be back when I'm back in Lisbon.

Provato con la famiglia quando ero in vacanza. Posto carino, intimo. Il cibo mi è sembrato una derivazione dall'indiano, con portate simili ma declinate in modo diverso.

The place does not stand out (visually) from the outside, but once you find it, you will be greeted by a warm, friendly staff who also speaks good English. The restaurant offers authentic nepalese interior design and of course traditional dishes. Lots of varieties of different Currys , drinks and appetizers. The food tastes delicious and is well priced (8-11€) for a main dish. The portions are just about right for one person, although I would recommend getting 1 or 2 appetizers . Overall, outstanding quality / price ratio . I will definitely come again!

A comida é OK e o ambiente aconchegante.

The service and the food are the outstanding features of this little restaurant. Try something different and get one of the authentic Nepalese Thali dishes! Super delicious and a nice experience, quite different to the more traditional Indian dishes otherwise served here. These Chicken Momo dumplings were also especially tasty!

Only sampled a stater, but that was tasty- a vegetable samosa. The staff are friendly and can speak & have a fair command of Portuguese & English, although their first language is Nepali. The restaurant is of a good size and their are 2 tables outside. Prices are quite reasonable, but drink wise, l found them a little limited.

Great food and very affordable. Nice people that speak English and are helpful in choosing the right dish.

A big thank you to this place and rosni (I am sure I did not spell that right, sorry) We visited swayambhu house at least 4 times I believe. Lovely napelese cuisine. Pani Puri was perfection! Thank you guys ❤️

Tem um otimo ambiente. E um bom atendimento..

We were seated next to the toilet despite the fact that the restaurant was empty, the waiter (and manager?) Stood right beside us for 5 minutes while trying to chose. He seemed to be in a hurry. Toilet for women doesn't work and also smells like it. The food was between bad and old, potatoes and vegetable rolls tasted like they had been in the sauce for at least two days and heated up. Papadam bread extremely salty. Also we heard the cook coughing throughout waiting for our meal, which didn't help with the appetite. I would recommend to skip this place and go to brick, it's nextdoor.
