Bonne adresse. Nous venons de déjeuner au Marquis avec des amis. Repas savoureux avec un excellent magret de canard. Nous avons moins apprécié le dessert. Cadre très agréable et service efficace et attentionné..

So friendly. Reasonably priced. Service was excellent. Outdoor ambience was fantastic. They even made a special birthday cake for my in laws. Amazing, amazing, amazing! Worth the hour drive to get there from Alvor. We have plans to go back the next time we are in Portugal.

Non très déçu. Le cadre est beau mais la cuisine est épouvantable. Très cher pour la qualité des plats.

Le brunch du dimanche est superbe. On vous propose de belles entrées puis comme plat principal poisson, viandes, le tout grillé au feu, et pour accompagner un buffet de salade et accompagnement chaud. Le tout pour 25€ et si vous avez encore faim il y a des desserts. Magnifique terrasse et très joli cadre.

I do not write many reviews but this restaurant deserves the highest praise. Outstanding meal and service. If you get the chance and want 5* food, service and location then this restaurant is a must.

Responsables et personnel au top du service. Une prise en charge totale de notre soirée d'anniversaire gérée de main de maître ! Décoration du lieu fidèle à nos souhaits, des plats joliment présentés et délicieux, une animation musicale de qualité....Ce moment très important pour nous a été une totale réussite pour tous nos convives. Bravo et merci à Vincent et Helma!

Local excelente, com um ambiente espetacular. Atendimento 5 estrelas e a qualidade das refeições são merecedoras da classificação deste restaurante. Aconselho que seja feita reserva, principalmente em casos de grupos maiores de 3 pessoas.

Full disclosure, I'm writing this review as I digest last night's meal at Le Marquis and perhaps I should wait for the wine cloud to pass so that I can offer objective and insightful opinions. However after food that good it is impossible to be objective and my meagre vocabulary isn't capable of describing the flavours and atmosphere that Marquis effortlessly serve. I ate the pasta with shrimps followed by bbq style ribs and both dishes were the kind of food I will bore people about for years to come. My companions tried the rest of the menu but I couldn't listen to them, I was lost in the delights on the plate in front of me. The ribs in particular were sweet, smokey, sticky and succulent and raised the bar for the way pork should be served. I've added pictures, but they don't do the food justice, skip them and book yourself a table, now. If I'm lucky I'll see you in there.

Viande succulente, fondante. Poisson finement coupé en filet sans arrête. Desserts magnifique, goût, couleur et saveur. Propriétaire sympathique. Seul inconvénient, prenez les coordonnées GPS, sinon avec l'adresse très très difficile..........

Gezellig, en voelt huiselijk aan. Helma &Vincent (eigenaars) zijn lieve mensen. Bediening goed. Eten is uitstekend. Wijnkaart goed. In de zomer kan je prima buiten eten op een gezellig terras.
