This is absolutely my favourite spot to sit down, soak up the sunrise and sunset, whilst drinking a galão. There's something very relaxing about being here that makes me want to do this every single day of my life.

Like all the pod-like restaurants on the beach, it has a nice view. Seating is good and has more cosy feeling than most other pods. Staff was friendly but not overly so. Food is ok. Garlic bread is very good. I had shrimps as main, which were good, but I’ve had better. My girlfriend had a Portuguese steak which I would rate a 6 at best. Prices are good, a bit higher than other places here. Overall it’s ok, but not something I would go out of my way for to visit again.

This is one of the many "pods" on the beach from which you can sit and watch the sea and have a drink and a snack and catch some rays. The service is good here and all the staff are multi lingual. There are excellent views and photo opportunities from here.

Leuk Nederland restaurant aan het strand. Bomvol! We hadden geluk dat er nog plaats was. We moesten wel redelijk lang wachten op ons eten maar dat was te verwachten door de drukte.

Wow, what can i say but utterly brilliant, a great place on the beach with great attentive staff which advised your every want, the food was out of this world, I had the fillet steak (one of the best ever) my wfe had the prawn skewer, the wine was also recommend and again perfect.
Very attentive staff and also owner, calling in on the table to receive you and make you part of the what seemed quite a party atmosphere, smiles all round empty plates too, deserts to die for and a wonderful experience so much so we returned several times during our holiday.

Good food at reasonable prices, right on the beach! This is a place that caters for tourists of all nationalities and even has some off-the-menu Dutch specialties. In terms of drinks, they do what seems to be the local cocktail trio, Caipirinha, Caipiroska, and Caipirão, but also draught local beer (Superbock) and a variety of ice coffees.

Wunderschöner Strand den man von hier aus sehr gut bestaunen kann.
Das Essen ist sehr lecker und günstig. Besonders auch der Wein und die Steaks!

My favourite of the beach pods on Praia da Rocha. Young friendly waiting staff make you feel very welcome and it's one of only a couple that open throughout the winter season. Order from the starters menu (the fish soup is excellent) and sit with a beer watching the sunset. Fantastic.

Miiieeeses essen und unglaublich freche Geschäftsleitung, essen war so schlecht wir konnten es nicht runter würgen, wurden dann als wir uns beschwert haben von der Chefin beleidigt am Tisch "SCHEISS Deutsche", Leute geht bitte wo anders essen. Eine Schande für Portugal dieser Laden. In der Nähe gibt's viele gute Restaurants, ihr solltet den Laden meiden.

El servicio no es malo pero la comida no me gusto. Pedimos sangria y sabia a sprite con vino don Simón, las he probado más buenas en España. Comimos cataplana y no tenía sabor, ingredientes nada fuera de lo común como si estuviesen cocidos y verdura como aldente. No tengo la sensación de haber comido una típica cataplana. Si a esto le sumas que pagamos 53€ dos personas con un entrante sangria y cataplana ya lo dice todo. No lo recomiendo. Es una pena.

Excelente restaurante - quer quanto à localização e simpatia dos empregados quer quanto à gastronomia que oferece.
Como entradas recomendo a sopa de peixe e os camarões ao alho - uma delícia.
As sardinhas assadas são muito bem servidas. Para quem gosta de pimento, tem que pedir, porque não acompanha naturalmente as sardinhas como estamos habituados no norte.
A espetada de tamboril com salmão é uma delícia... melhor do que a espetada de lulas com gambas.
Para fechar a refeição, recomendo o doce de amêndoa.
É um restaurante de referência para mim. Recomendo.

Ive been at this restaurant for several times during my holiday, as much as the food is good , what makes the difference is the staff . Everytime we got there the staff recognized us, and super friendly and playful. We were a big party and sometimes hard to get a table as we were so many but they always managed to get us the table all together. To mention this girl that I didn't get her name I know I've asked her of she was from alentejo or algarve as her accent was very strong . She made our meals fun and nice. So if you can a big thank you for your hospitality. About the food I really enjoy the sardines and squid .

Ever since my wife and I grabbed our first Magners on ice there and met the lovely owners it's our go to restaurant whenever in Pria Da Rocha. Staff never miss a beat and the owners and their family are the soul that makes this place so astounding. Don't even get me started on the food! EVERYTHING... yes! Every item on their menu is amazing. Uber compliments to the chef who could only be described as a culinary octopus ( ) in the kitchen. Even when the place is completely packed, your order comes out as if there were maybe 5 patrons. If you're ever in Pria da Rocha, you need to have at least 1 meal here and I guarantee you will keep going back.

Localização excelente, preços razoáveis e comida muito boa, mas atendimento sofrível. A garçonete que nos atendeu foi extremamente rude até que percebeu que um de nós não era brasileiro, mas provinha da Inglaterra. Como é de praxe em Portugal, nos indicou a mesa em que deveríamos sentar (detalhe: todas as outras do restaurante estavam arrumadas, menos essa. Depois entendemos porque), mas se recusou a baixar as persianas para nos proteger do sol e, absurdo dos absurdos, nos negou uma cadeira para colocar as bolsas e agasalhos, até que forçamos a barra. Ficamos irritados demais. Foi a única experiência desagradável que tivemos em restaurantes portugueses nessas semanas em que estivemos no país.

Have been coming to senhora's for 10 years now and we have to go here at least twice each holiday. The kids love it as they can play on the beach in the early evening sun whilst we enjoy a relaxing drink in what we think is the best of all the beach restaurants along the boardwalk. Gida, Jay and the family are lovely hosts and nothing is ever to much trouble. Food is top notch. Our favourite dishes are the fillet steak, prawns a'la momma(15), monkfish hanging kebabs plus many more.

Paisagem avassaladora mas a comida é a que nós fazemos em casa. Os panados de frango do meu filho eram de compra... Fraca opção de vinhos e servido a temperatura imprópria. Não aconselho a quem procura uma experiência gastronómica.

Gutes Essen, offenbar unerfahrenes Servicepersonal. Beide Portionen (Cataplana, Kalbsschnitzel) waren ausreichend und schmackhaft. Wir wurden von vier verschiedenen Personen bedient, die einen unterschiedlichen Erfahrungsschatz zu haben schienen, z.B. wurde der Vorspeisenteller nicht vor dem Hauptgang abgeräumt, was dann zu räumlichen Problemen auf den Tisch führte - eigentlich ganz putzig. Insgesamt würde ich das O Farol in unmittelbarer Nähe eher empfehlen.
