Sehr schönes, modernes Fisch Lokal direkt am Strand. Bestellt wird direkt an der Theke. Je nach Fisch ca. 70€ pro Kilo inkl. Beilagensalat und Pellkartoffeln. Aufmerksame, schnelle Bedienung. Reservierung empfohlen, ggf. muss man warten. Div. Fleischgerichte werden ebenfalls angeboten.

Beautiful location, fancy entrance and a fashionable place. We were two and had a salad, clams, a 700 gram sea bass and a bottle of wine. The food and the wine were good. However, we paid 105 euro and to be honest we've had the exact same dishes but even tastier in other, perhaps more simple places in the area, spending in between 40 - 60 euro. It seems like at Evaristo you merely pay for the ambiance.

Frischer Fisch und Hummer den man direkt an der Theke aussuchen kann.
Wunderbare Aussicht. Sonnenliegen in der kleinen Bucht
Unter 20 Grad und Regen sollte man sich Warm anziehen da es durch die Scheiben durchzieht.
Und wir waren etwas zu Dünn gekleidet .
Aber das kann man ja selbst beeinflussen.

You dont know what you're paying since you're expected to choose your fish upon entering. Which can cause for a unexpected bill in the end.
The fish (Dorado in our case) was nice, not special and especially not for what we paid for it.
The service is quite lacking, we were off season so this could explain this. Not adequate or attentive at all.
The place is nice; the view, the restaurant, the toilet. But again nothing special, as you would expect for the price.

J’avais adoré il y a quelques années. Cette fois-ci l’expérience a été très décevante. Attente interminable, Poisson sans goût, service médiocre (et arrogant à l’accueil) et addition hors prix pour la qualité servie. Bref, je n’y retournerai pas!

Just a nice view and it stops there.
Beginning from the chaotic entrance when you have to choose your fish and you will have no idea what it will cost you (usually overpriced for this restaurant in Portugal).
So you've got a table outside, ordered the drinks and enjoy they view and sundown.
Food comes, seabass fish was grilled ok...but really no seasoning...this comes together with a plate of booring shy and tasteless potatoes and a salad(which most probably tasted the best of all, because of the fresh juicy tomatoes).
The tiger prawns, which were huge, 6 pieces for €106, were over cooked on the grill, very very dry, that we had to scrape it off from the skin...again zero seasoning and just tasteless as fish finger (which honestly, Fishfinger back home tasted even better than those expensive prawns).
Had some dessert chocolate mousse(more like a runny joghurt) and some vanilla ice cream, which didn't taste like vanilla, but they told us it was homemade...well, all in all mediocre to saying the best.
Ordered the bill and I was shocked to see €106 for those tiger shrimps which were the worst ever I had in my life. I'm a cook myself and this is the lowest quality of prawns ever tasted, but nicely expensive - well done what a rip off.
Asked the waiter, after I've told him about the awfully prepared and even lower quality of prawns, if he was aware that they taste like s carbon board...his answer; you're not the first to say this tonight, still the bill doesn't change and charged me the full price. Thank you sir.
Went up talking to both head chefs about the low quality of their food and they managed to give me back €20 after they had an argue between themselves and no apologies at all....I honestly didn't know what else to say!
Not going back there for sure, never ever again.
Try for yourself....nice view, boring tasteless food and a great bill to pay.

Definitely a must stop in Algarve. From the service to the food, we are here at the edge of excellence and portuguese tradition.
You can reach the restaurant by the road or by anchoring you boat by the beach, the transfer service will take you there.
When you arrive you are asked to choose the fish, squid, shrimp, prawn... that you want to eat. The products are obviously fresh and of the highest quality. The chief will give you the right advices and speaks several languages.
Not cheap but definitely worth it.

Ottimo ristorante, loro ti chiamano a scegliere il pesce che poi ti cucinano: noi abbiamo preso 6 calamari ripieni, 3 gamberi enormi e una orata da dividere, ottimo e veloce il servizio, gentile il personale, pesce buonissimo, posto meraviglioso :anche se non è economico, il pesce è il posto ricambiano

Goed gelegen en mooi uitzicht.
Maar eten is voor ons tegengevallen.
1. Twee glazen champagne te oud na opmerking hebben we deze niet moeten betalen maar we hadden liever goede gehad en ze betaald.
2. Voorgerechten waren ok.
3. Steak op de menu.
We bestelden ze bleu chaud en kregen twee uitgebakken steaks.
Deze werden na klacht vervangen en waren dan ok.
Gezellig is natuurlijk anders.
Ten laatste hadden we gevraagd om alles lactose vrij te serveren wat na navraag niet allemaal correct gebeurt is met nadien de nodige gevolgen.

Schickes Restaurant direkt am Strand mit traumhafter Aussicht. Absolut frischer Fisch, den man direkt an der Theke aussucht. Er wird dann mit viiieeel Knoblauch und viel Meersalz zubereitet und am Tisch filetiert. Für unseren Geschmack etwas zu viel, aber immer noch lecker.

One of the best seafood restaurants in Faro. I would recommend this place to visit. There is no menu, there's a chalk board with what fish is available. The food is so fresh and cooked beautifully. The sangria was delicious. The view from the restaurant couldn't have been better.

Ein Restaurant vor einer tollen Kulisse. Die Aussicht ist der Wahnsinn. Abends bei Sonnenuntergang dort auf der wunderschönen Terrasse einen Tisch reservieren! Da vergisst man fast das Essen. Die Vorspeisen waren alle sehr lecker. Wir die Vorspeisen vom Koch zusammengestellt bekommen. Wir waren eine größere Gruppe, weshalb wir von allem ein bisschen hatten und so alle von allem probieren konnten. Das ist meiner Meinung nach das beste was man machen kann. Der Fisch zum Hauptgang war mir persönlich etwas zu trocken (auch mit ner guten Portion Zitronensaft), deshalb nur 4*. Alles in allem kann ich das Restaurant aber definitiv empfehlen. Alleine schon wegen der Aussicht.

Restaurante con una comida espectacular y pescado fresco. El sitio es precioso y la atención muy amable. Pedimos unas almejas y lubina a la brasa. Mi hijo de 8 años alucinaba con el sabor de ambos platos.
No es barato, pero pagar por calidad y productos frescos está más que justificado.

Recommended to us by a local so expected reasonable food. Location nice on the beach front. You enter and expected to select fish on display which is fine.
No menu though so had to ask price. 150e for sea bass and a few tiger prawns for 3 adult s and 2 kids. We went with it expecting sensational food. Sea bass nice . Nothing exceptional. Prawns rubbery. Wine was good though. We went with it hoping our experience would improve. Deserts cart d'Or ice cream and mucky chocolate mousse. This is a very Avery seafood restaurant with pretentious ideas. Walk the walk if you advertise good seafood. On the whole overpriced for average experience

Very nice place with a perfect view of the sea and the sunset.
There is no menu, you go to the counter, which is full of various fish and seafood, and you pick what you want and agree with the chef. He helps with his recommendation etc.
You pay by weight, which is very hard to estimate, but they give you a hand with that too.
The non fish item was tiny, enough for a decent starter.
The desserts were amazing.
Overall, it's a bit too pricey in my opinion.

Eliges el pescado antes de sentarte, su precio es según mercado, lo pesan delante de ti antes de cocinarlo y llevártelo a la mesa, donde lo limpian y empleatan antes de servírtelo. Lo primero es decir que el sitio es precioso, a pie de playa y con unas vistas muy agradables. Lo segundo es que eso hay que pagarlo y lo vas a ver reflejado en la cuenta. Nada más entrar te encuentras con una nevera llena de pescado fresco. Te recibe un señor (supongo que es el dueño, Evaristo) y te advierte que debes pedir la comida allí y luego sentarte. En unas pizarras puedes ver los precios al peso del pescado fresco y el precio de las raciones de los entrantes. Luego te sientas y entonces si que te dan la carta, pero la carta de bebidas. Me parece un sistema un tanto absurdo la verdad. Es cierto que puedes ver el pescado y como te lo pesa delante tuya (por si eres desconfiado), pero si se te antoja algo a posteriori tienes que levantarte e ir hasta allí para pedirlo. El servicio es muy profesional, como cabe esperar de un sitio de su precio. Nosotros pedimos un entrante (almejas), una sopa de pescado por persona, una urta al horno para compartir, con una jarra de sangría que estaba buenísima, y postre y café y salimos a 35€ por persona. El pescado que pidas al horno viene con ensalada y patatas asadas de guarnición.

Restaurante maravilhoso! Tudo bom! As fotos não mostram o quanto é agradável e de bom gosto. A comida ( peixe) é do mais fresco e bem temperado que já comi! O meu filho comeu lulas e repetiu!

While it is a bit far away from Albufeira, the drive is well worth it. The fish is fresh and very tasty, and you choose the one you want from the display. The staff is very nice, and there is a great view to an intimate beach. It may be a bit pricey, but well worth it if you are looking for some great food

The four of us arrived not knowing what to expect. We were told to choose a fresh fish from the daily selection. We choose three and asked them to split them between us. They came to table cooked and ready,. The waiter prepared them and put them on the plates. We also had potatoes, rice, salad and bread. Everything was exquisite; perfectly cooked and delicious. We might go back again tomorrow it was so perfect! If you come to this part of Portugal, try this restaurant and you won't be sorry!

Indignado com a falta de respeito dos funcionarios. Chegamos a porta do restaurante e esperamos 10 minutos e ninguem seque abriu a porta para entrarmos. Nao recomendo, nunca va neste local de maneira alguma.

Muy buena ubicación en la playa con unas vistas muy bonitas y local muy fino y fresco. El restaurante ideal para pescado y marisco.
No había menú, antes de sentarnos nos enseñaron el pescado y marisco que tenían y nos hicieron decidir en el momento y nos lo vendieron al peso delante nuestro. No sé si es lo normal pedir así en el momento de pie o actuaron así por vernos una pareja joven que igual se arrepentía de haber entrado.
Pedimos para empezar dos carabineros que venía con arroz de guarnición y jargo para dos personas que venía con patatas cocidas de guarnición. Añadieron una ensalada que luego nos cobraron pero todo estaba realmente bueno.
De postre: tarta de chocolate y Dom Rodrigo (hilos envueltos de una mezcla de yemas, canela y almendra) típico del Algarve.
2 cervezas, 2 copas de vino y cafés.
Recomendable. Todo estaba muy rico y de calidad y en local acogedor y cómodo.

Tolles essen, sehr frischer Fisch der erst ausgesucht wird, dann nach Wunsch zubereitet und am Tisch filitiert wird. Aufmerksames Personal.
Leider ist der Weg dort hin nicht leicht zu finden und die Straße eine kleine Katastrophe. Der Ausblick über die Bucht und das Meeresrauschen entschädigen aber definitiv.

Fantastically delicious fresh seafood. Lovely location. Service from a few junior members of the staff was a bit raw however we were well comp'd for what may have not been as one would expect from a venue like this. Cannot fault how the staff dealt with it. Would have rated this restaurant 5 stars otherwise.

This place has no fixed menu, but serves fantastic food. The catch of the day is displayed at the bar and you simply pick your favourite choice from the counter. All fish, shellfish, crustacians and meat are cooked to perfection, either on the grill or otherwise. The location and atmosphere are equally wonderful. I would recommend this place to enjoy a remarkable meal in an equally remarkable setting.

One of the best beach restaurants for very good and simple fresh fish. Special favourite are the grilled squid, claims and prawn starters. Go there and then relax on the beach afterwards.

Chegamos às 21:00 e só comemos às 22:30. Quando a conta chegou estavam lá mais 100€ do que era suposto, frangos e lulas que ninguém tinha pedido. E quando confrontados com o tempo que estivemos à espera ( tendo reserva), a culpa foi colocada nos clientes que se tinham atrasado. Por este andar talvez devam começar a selecionar clientes.
