Sehr gutes Essen, netter Service, der sich um alles kümmert, sogar gut deutsch spricht. Die Empfehlungen waren Klasse. Dieses kleine Restaurant ist sehr abseits gelegen, aber ein unbedingtes Muss in Lagos, wenn man sehr gut essen möchte. Egal ob Fisch oder Fleisch, beides ist sehr zu empfehlen. Danke

Mit eins der besten Restaurants an der Algave. Kleines unscheinbares Lokal inmitten einer Wohnsiedlung. Der Chef ist sehr zuvorkommend und er versteht sein Handwerk. Vom Essen waren wir mehr als begeistert. Die Qualität ist einfach perfekt und geschmackvoll. Es ist einfach nur schade das wir nicht schon früher hier hergekommen sind. Wenn wir wieder hier Urlaub machen dann wird das unsere erste Anlaufstelle sein.

여기까지 오시는 분이 계실지 모르지만 한국인을 위해 한국어 후기 남깁니다.
우선 소고기 스테이크가 10-13유로대로 저렴한 편이구요. 저희는 서로인스테이크, 비프 어쩌구, 치킨 피리피리 주문했어요. 피리피리 소스에 찍어먹는 치킨 구이도 맛있어요. 음식은 주문한 뒤 시간이 조금 걸리긴했지만 맛이 정말 좋았답니다.
까다로운 입맛인 저희 엄마도 다 드셨어요.

Ich war gestern Abend da. Ist ab 18 Uhr geöffnet. Chef war sehr nett. Da er alles irgendwie Alleine macht, muss man etwas Zeit mit bringen. Filetsteak auf heißem Stein mit drei Dips und Folienkartoffel. Lecker! Wein, Espresso und Schnaps vorzüglich. Weiter so. Aber vielleicht auch mal von der Arbeit etwas abgeben.

Silva is famous for his steak on the stone which, however, I haven't tried yet, being more of a fish person; but tonight, it being cloudy with rain threatening, I decided to go down for a glass of red wine and to try Vilija's GOULASH, which she had highly recommended to me last week. Vilija is from Lithuania and says Hungarian visitors rave about her goulash! Well, Mama Mia, it was SUPERB! With a little more notice it is usually served with mashed potato, but my steamed potatoes tonight were just perfect, with the added nice touch of a sprinkle of dill on top. All washed down with Silva's wonderful taste in house wine, which he said came from the Alentejo region – gone are the days when you could only get a good red from the North of Portugal! I highly recommend Brasao. And it's really good for a glass of medhronho also – fire water!

Chef was working the place by himself (with help of a lady in the kitchen, wife?) but was very courteous and cognizant of our wait. I had the (perfectly cooked) piri piri chicken which was fantastic (piri piri sauce also appeared to be made in house and complimented the chicken perfectly). Wife had vegetarian soup which was also amazing. Next time I’ll book 24hrs in advance for the seafood cataplana. Highly recommend.

Loved the steak! However the Chocolate cake and cheesecake were a bit small for what I was charged, although the chocolate cake tastes great. Maybe both meal and cakes a little cheaper .

We were made very welcome and had an excellent dinner. Chicken piri-piri was wonderful. The owner speaks English, French and German. We hope to return before the end of our holiday.

Locale modesto ma accogliente, personale molto cortese e professionale, cibo ottimo, pesce freschissimo e dolci strepitosi, non abbiamo assaggiato la carne ma il filetto che stavano preparando al banco era molto invitante e ben lavorato.. consigliato !!

Disappointing. We had an ok meal. Very basic and simple. As they say....nothing to write home about. Service just ok and a bit too slow. Why do so.many restaurants insist on serving chips with every meal?

We had dinner at Brasão on the first night of our 10 day holiday, because we stayed close to it. This was also the best restaurant experience of our entire holiday, which is why we came back again. The food was really good, both the fish and meat were qualitatively excellent. The owners are very friendly, and do both the preparation and the operation. This makes the service not fast, but from a slow meal we settled down from our day. Point of improvement: the possibility to pay by card. To the owner: what was the name/brand of the extra dry port wine? We really enjoyed that one!

Probably the rudest restaurant owner in Lagos
His service was appalling and when he asked how my food was I told him that the veal was grisly and overcooked.A proper owner would have said sorry and have it on the house.
To make matters worse he doesn't accept cards and the local one broken.A 20.minute walk to pay for a substandard meal.We waited with dirty plates in between courses for an hour only to be told chicken takes 25 minutes to cook and he didn't bring my son's drink.
I went by the reviews on Google
Do not eat here unless you have 3 hours and want rubbish food and a rude host

A real hidden gem with a very friendly and helpful owner/waiter. It was the best Espatada I had in many years. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

Wir waren im Juni dort. Kleines Lokal abseits des Massen Tourismus, super lecker Essen, der Chef spricht sehr gut Deutsch und kümmert sich sehr um seine Gäste. Fangfrischer Fisch, toll gegrillt, leckere Weine. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

The food was excellent, really top notch, and prices were fair, but we waited for almost an hour for the check. Unacceptable, no matter where you're from. People who came in well after us left long before we did. Come here for good food, but only if you have a lot of extra time. We spent almost 3 hours altogether.

C'est une perle isolée. C'est un restaurant où tout est bon, frais. On a fait trois repas d'affilé chez eux sur nos deux jours de visite. On a essayé le poisson, le poulet pili pili, les gambas, le risotto fruits de mer (à réserver un jour avant) où le proprio va lui-même au marché le matin pour aller chercher les fruits de mer. Bref tout était parfait, bon, goûtu, à prix raisonnable pour cette qualité. C'est un couple qui travaille ensemble, ils font tout. Parfois ça peut prendre du temps mais le jeu en vaut la chandelle, on est pas déçu. Le couple était gentil et courtois avec nous.

Never actually been here. They insist on spelling tuna with two n's even though I've very helpfully pointed out their spelling mistake. And it's not like it's in print. It's on a very easily correctable chalk board!!!! My latent OCD goes nuts every time I go past this place and catch a glimpse of their "tunna". Aaaagh!

Nice food, limited menu, the main item of the main course is good but fails badly with the sides. Very cramped seating, if you want a good steak on a stone this place won't disappoint but it comes with poor quality frozen chips as a side and not much else. The few desserts offered where shop bought and of no interest.

Vraiment excellent, nous avons pris en entrée des gambas puis, le poulet pili pili et le porc à la portugaise. Les plats étaient entièrement fait maison, et le serveur était très agréable. Les prix très abordable pour une telle qualité.

We went here with my wife mainly because of the reviews and since it was also very close to the place we were staying at. Oh boy am I glad we did! The food was absolutely delicious and Silva (the owner) is very friendly with a great sense of humour. Will definitely eat here again the next time we visit Lagos. Obrigado!

Went in high expectations and was dissapointed. Reviews gave it alot of undeserved praise. The chicken is the only reason i gave this establishment any stars at all. The service is the real downfall. Over an hour to be served and one drink while we waited. There were four tables and everyone was served one after another....ridiculous. There comes a time you need to breakdown and hire some front end staff. You cant be the waiter bus boy bartender and cook and provide any kind of service. I will not return and do not recommend. First and worst bad experience in three weeks in Portugal. Wake up and hire some help its costing you money!!!

Sa a l'air très bon mais l'impression de ne pas être accepté car pas local. 19h30 encore de la place mais faut manger en 15min, déjà faudrait il qu'il sorte un plat dans ces temps, pas de sourir et vite envoyé dehors, pourtant nous sommes plutôt sympathique, dommage, prévoyez l'appel longremps a l'avance et prennez votre meilleur accent Portugais.
Je recommande dy aller mais avant que le restaurant ouvre.

Ein traumhaftes essen. Der chef ist super freundlich und spricht mehrere sprachen. Vorspeise Entenbrust - lecker. Dann kan das Highlight: rinderfilet auf heisser Platte. Gigantisch lecker. Um nicht mal 19 euro. Ehrlich...selten so gut gegessen. Hauswein auch top. Bitte beachten: nur cash....keine Kreditkarte möglich. Für uns absolute Empfehlung

싸고 맛있고 안짬. 포르투갈와서 고기는 냄새가 나거나 좀 질겼는데 여긴 괜찮음. 밑에 후기보고 피리피리치킨이랑 서로인스테이크 주문. 다만 직원이 단 둘뿐이라서 사람 많은 시간에 가면 매우 오래 기다려야할듯.

The food here was fantastic. I had grilled steak and my wife had salmon.
If you are American, please understand the service is different than back home. The owner is also the server. I’m not saying the service is bad, it’s just different. Be patient and enjoy!

Definitely check this out, it’s out of the way so might need a car but worth it. I had chicken Piri Piri with homemade chilli sauce and if there is better barbecued chicken anywhere on earth then I’d like to see it.

Amazing! The couple running the restaurant are so friendly and cooks lovely food. It feels very cozy and genuine. The steak on the hot stone with a little sea salt is among the top dishes I've had in a long while.

The best meals we had in Lagos!! We loved it so much we went back again! The grilled salmon was absolutely sublime - perfect. The owner and his wife run the whole thing and care deeply about each customer and every dish and detail. Highly recommend again and again.

We had such an amazing experience here! So good that we came back one day later for another delicious meal! The food is phenomenal and Silva is just great: super attentive and full of jokes. De cuatro días que hemos estado en Lagos, dos hemos comido allí. Recomiendo el Naco a la piedra y cualquier pescado que os recomiende el dueño. Precio razonable para la calidad que presenta.

Un lugar muy particular, una delicatessen en Lagos. Atendido por su propio dueño, quien se ocupa especialmente de cada detalle del servicio y de respetar la calidad de cada elemento de la carta. Pedí peixe do dia y estaba delicioso y encantadoramente presentado. Cuenta con una selección de vinos que permiten deleitarse con las viñas portuguesas. Para apreciar el lugar ir con tiempo para comprender el concepto de "momento artesanal". Una experiencia inolvidable. Destacable: el anfitrión habla 7 idiomas.

Pequeño restaurant atendido meticulosamente por su dueño. Pesca del día, carnes, espetos. Todo se hace en el momento, por lo cual es un sitio para ir con tiempo. La carta de vinos es excelente. Todo a una muy buena relación calidad/precio.

Etwas versteckt im Randgebiet von Lagos. Sehr netter Chef, er spricht auch deutsch. Nur wenige Sitzplätze. Essen ( gegrillter Lachs ) war sehr gut. Man muss etwas Zeit mitbringen, da alles vom Chef persönlich gegrillt wird und er auch gleichzeitig den Service macht.
Günstig und gut gegessen! Gerne wieder.

Estuvimos el sábado por la noche tras leer el resto de opiniones y nos sorprendió la lentitud, estando sólo 4 mesas ocupadas, y tardamos 2 horas y cuarto en cenar un solo plato sin postre ni entrantes... Creo que tampoco acertamos con los platos que pedimos, pollo a la brasa y carne de cerdo a la portuguesa... En fin, supongo que pillamos un mal día en base a las opiniones existentes

Serviço fantástico e comida ainda melhor! O Sr Silva tem um orgulho notório pelo que faz! Nem seriam necessários os pormenores cuidados como a pimenta da Jamaica, o sal dos Himalaias ou os fantásticos molhos caseiros, porque a qualidade da comida e da confecção fala por si. Experimentámos o bife de atum fresco e o bife de lombo na pedra. Ambos fantásticos e em quantidades muito generosas o que torna difícil ter espaço para a sobremesa (mas a torta de laranja também vale a pena)! Vamos voltar sempre que estivermos por Lagos!

Sehr ehrlicher und guter Gastwirt. Essen war wirklich Top, wir hatten frischen Thunfisch und ein Steak, bei beidem war der Garpunkt perfekt getroffen, dann braucht es nicht mehr als etwas Salz und vielleicht noch etwas Pfeffer.

Nourriture très bonne.

Locale accogliente e non turistico, posizionato leggermente fuori dal centro e soprattutto fuori dalla confusione. Si mangia molto bene, anche se il menù è un po' ristretto, ma se vi lasciate consigliare dal proprietario non rimarrete delusi. C'è la possibilità di degustare alcuni piatti su prenotazione almeno 24h prima e sinceramente ne vale la pena. Sicuramente se tornerò a Lagos un visita la rifaccio volentieri.

Klein aber fein.
Freundlich, sehr preiswert und top Qualität.
Wir hatten Wolfsbarsch und Steak, jeweils mit Beilagen.
Beides super lecker.
Keine Panik wegen der Rechnung, wenn man die Speisenkarte nicht gesehen hat. Man ist eher überrascht, daß es so günstig ist!
Man kann also den Empfehlungen des Chefs vertrauen.
Man spricht mehrere Sprachen.
Einziger minus Punkt sind die Sanitären Anlagen.
Sind zwar sauber, aber dringend Renovierungsbedürftig.
