Wonderful meal - menu do dia for lunch, the mains were both superb! Healthy portions and creatively seasoned - cod with mint in lightly-sauced pasta - delicious - and pork in a light sauce with rosemary, basil, clams and black olives - great balance and depth. Salad, dessert and wines were simple but effective - service was pleasant and attentive. Excellent value for EU12 each. Solid.

Posto curato molto bello , dentro pulitissimo fuori altrettanto nel deor. Camerieri brasiliani molto simpatico e gentili . Costo buono con 12 € si mangia antipasto , un piatto a scelta , ho preso uno spezzatino di maiale con patate arrosto buonissime , dolce ,birra e caffè. Tutto buono. Se passate dal centro di Lisbona vale la pena fermarsi.

Leckeres Essen und leckerer Wein bei freundlichem Service! Allerdings sind die Preise nicht ganz günstig. Haben zu zweit mit einer geteilten Vorspeise und jeweils einer Hauptspeise und jeweils ein Glass Hauswein 60€ gezahlt. Dies liegt aber sicher auch an der zentralen Lage!

Nice looking restaurant but not good they forgot to order my starter. And our steak was terrible it arrived at our table floating in a bowl of soup/gravy .I'd never go back.
Its like the staff were tired and didn't wamt to be there.

La Taberna do Lis è un'ottimo ristorante nel quartiere di Baixa. La qualità dei prodotti e delle materie prime è altissima, niente a che vedere con i ristoranti acchiappa-turisti di cui la zona è ricca. Piccolo consiglio: se si usa di Thefork per prenotare si possono ottenere sconti consistenti!

Der Abend war insg. sehr gut. Das Restaurant war gegen 19:30 Uhr bereits voll und wir mussten ohne Reservierung ca. 10. Minuten warten. Während wir gewartt haben, haben wir die Speisekarte studiert. Die ist sehr klein und übersichtlich.
Dennoch haben wir, nachdem wir einen Tisch bekommen haben, den Keller gebeten, uns Portugal-Erstbesuchern etwas zu empfehlen. Er war sehr freundlich und bemüht, die Gerichte auszusuchen und zu erklären, obwohl das Restaurant nach him nicht sehr portugiesisch sei.
Wir hatten Garnellen in Zitronenbuttersoße mit Knoblauch und Fritierte Kabeljaunockerl als Vorspeise, Pulpo (statt eigentlich Kabeljau) auf Kartoffeln/Spinat mit Olivenöl und Seeteufelreis ins Garnellensoße (schmeckt wie Bouillabaisse mit Reis al dente) als Hauptgang. Wir wollten nur Foschgerichte, aber die Fleischgerichte sahen auch sehr gut aus.
Leider Gottes mussten wir den Nachtisch passen, da wir schon sehr satt waren. Die Portionen sind sehr groß.
Die 4 Speisen mit 2 alkoholfreien Mojitos und einer großen Flasche Wasser haben uns 59,50 € gekostet. Angesichts der Portionen finde ich die Preise sehr akzeptabel.
Vo mit eine klare Empfehlung!

괜찮은 분위기의 레스토랑. 하지만 음식이 전체적으로 짜고 버섯 리조또와 흑돼지 요리의 돼지고기는 거의 태워서 나왔다. 한국의 일반적 돼지고기집이 더 잘 굽고 맛도 있다.

Lugar agradável e bem localizado. Por outro lado, não tinha alguns vinhos do cardápio, aliás tinham poucas opções de vinhos.

Mais um restaurante de 4 estrelas e meia (Google when????)... Serviço bom, todos os pratos servidos estavam muito bons... E... Sobretudo, encontrar in restaurante tipicamente português, numa zona onde o normal é o típico tourist trap... A maior parte dos clientes eram turistas, o que quer dizer que mesmo sendo turistas, há sempre quem procure o genuíno. Chapeau ao patrão.... As
Minhas cinco estrelas só alguns restaurantes verdadeiramente excepcionais as levam.

Un ristorante carino vicino all'ascensore di Santa Justa. Pensavo avesse uno stile più tipico, da taverna, ma mi sono dovuta ricredere, è moderno ma comunque piacevole. Ho mangiato bene: come prima cosa mi hanno servito il coperto con tre tipi di pane, olio, salsa di tonno e olive (2€), poi ho scelto la zuppa del giorno, che era a base di piselli, e i gamberi all'ajillo (aglio e prezzemolo). Prezzi accessibili: per quanto scritto sopra e una bottiglia d'acqua ho speso 18 euro. Personale cortese :)

Malhreusement de fortes incompréhensions du serveur quant au régime alimentaire 'sans porc' de l'un d'entre nous. Le burger arrive avec du bacon alors que le serveur avait bien compris 'sans porc', il repart en cuisine, revient identique avec la tranche de bacon simplement enlevée... Et une autre tranche de bacon se trouvait entre le premier et le second steak.

Buenos platos y bien cocinados. El arroz tamboril, espectacular. Lo pedi para mi solo y estaba tan bueno y habia tanto que lo compartimos. Comimos dos de el y repitiendo. Mi hijo pidio un salmon, y tuvimos que compartirlo, y casi no pudimos terminarlo.
Entramos aqui huyendo de los camareros, que re asaltan por la calle y acertamos.

Todo un desengaño, el trato con el cliente no existe, como ganado o gente sin opinion nos han tratado, la comida un engaño más grande, apertivo coctel de cumpleaños quinceañero, pescado seco, calentado a última hora, carne black angus de mentira con una salsa cortada ( hemos pedido 3 veces el punto de la carne), como podeis esperar nos hemos saltado postre, todo esto por un módico precio de 100 euros. Nada más que decir, en vuestras manis queda. Buen año!

Pequeño bistro del hotel Lis. Sitio agradable, con carta corta de raciones. Precios algo elevados. Vinos por copas a 5€ (la copa es cumplida). De postres solo habían dos opciones (8€ para dos personas), pero a pesar de ir a cenar a las ocho, ya no quedaban. Nos ofrecieron ensalada de frutas del desayuno del hotel, que declinamos.

Nous y avons soupé un groupe de 10. Les tapas portugais étaient excellents . Les croquettes de morue étaient dans les meilleures que j'ai goûté. Le serveurs s'est trompé dans nos commandes, pour se faire pardonner il nous a offert du vin en extra, belle attention. Il a été très gentil avec nous toute la soirée, ce n'est pas toujours facile un grand groupe qui parle fort. Bravo à lui. Le restaurant est très beau, j'ai adoré mon expérience.

Ottimo ristorante in centro a Lisbona. Ambiente curato ed elegante, servizio veloce e gentile. Menu abbastanza vario e prezzi il linea con il posto. I piatti li ho trovati molto buoni anche se non speciali se paragonati a come proposti in italia, porzioni forse un po' piccole rispetto al prezzo pagato. Nel complesso ho mangiato e mi sono trovato bene. Consiglio se non lo avete mai provato.

TITLE: Very Fine Tavern/Cafe
WHEN: We ate there October 2019
WHAT: The place is on a little hilly street, quietish, with no vehicle traffic and not buzzing with tourists
MEAL: There is a fixed menu available if you want it, but we ate tapa style. The lightly battered bacalao on spinach was brilliant! The server grilled the chorizo for us at the table - that was a nice experience. The potatoes in the patatas bravas were done well, but the salsa fresca was unexpected. It tasted just fine, but was not the brava/aioli experience you would generally expect. All the food was deftly handled though - ingredients were of very high quality.
SERVICE: Relaxed but attentive. Servers know their offerings well.
ANYTHING ELSE? Fine wine list here. Take the advice of the servers for pairings at this place (can't say that about all places)

Déception
Le repas était très bon cependant on a eut un tapas que l'on avait pas commandé. Le serveur a reconnu s'être trompé a voulu nous l'offrir. Nous avons demandé que ce soit en remplacement d'un autre tapas qu'on avait commandé et pas encore servi. Au final on a payé ce tapas qu'on a pas eu et qui par hasard était plus cher que celui qu'on nous a offert.
Bon on était que 2tables donc on peut pas dire qu'il était débordé.
Je crois qu'on s'est fait avoir , il n'empêche qu'on a bien mangé

Essen grundsätzlich gut.
Bedienung freundlich und engagiert.
Hatten diverve Tapas (ca.20 stk.) für 7 Pers. So dass jeder von allem was nehmen/probieren konnte.
Leider kamen jeweils nur 2 oder 3 stk. Aufs mal.
So dass mann z.b. nur Reis oder Pommes auf dem Tisch hatte.
Erstaunlicher weise wurde nur etwas vergessen resp auf der Quittung notiert was wir nicht bekommen haben. Der rest kam alles wie bestellt.

Repas a quatre un samedi soir. Personnel complètement dépassé et sans gentillesse. Aucun effort de compréhension des commandes . Erreurs pendant le service. Assiettes enlevées puis remises, ...
Les clients de la table voisine sont partis au bout d'une demi-heure car personne n'est venu prendre leur commande.

**Don’t trust the allergy labels on the menu.**
Sardine trio was labeled gluten free but was served on bread. Wasn’t comfortable eating anything else after that.
Wine was good and server was very nice. I wouldn’t go back, but everyone else seemed to enjoy the food.

Hemos cenado de rebote aqui, y la verdad es que fenomenal, rapidos, atentos y amables. La carta de la comida un tanto corta en comparacion con la de vinos que es mas extensa , algo q me ha parecido curioso sin mas. Se come bien, unas poquitas cosas pero variadas, pescado, pasta, carne no falta. El ambiente ademas es bastante agradable al menos para cenar en una calle cerca de la principal, lo q la aleja del bullicio

Tinhamos marcado mesa para 4 e o restaurante estava vazio pous só 2 mesas estavam ocupadas. Quando entramos o ar condicionado estava gelado parecia os armazens da Pescanova. Pedimos ao empregado que era brasileiro se podia alterar um pouco a temperatura e ele com pessimos modos respondeu que não podia.
Saimos os 4 e mesmo ao pé tivemos noutro restaurante um jantar maravilhoso.

Il risotto di Marisco era ottimo. Servito con delicatezza dal gentile cameriere e soprattutto caldissimo. Ottimi ingredienti, dalle cozze all'aragosta, vongole, tutti ottimi sapori. Lo raccomando, è servito per 2 persone. Come aperitivo, un delizioso Mojito.

To start off with let's talk about location first. It's downtown, in the middle of all the fuss and huss if the busy city, hidden away on the corner of a back street. The decoration and ambiance are wonderful, for wine enthusiasts you can looms over the walls and pillars to try and find your favourite brand as they're decorated with plaques from wine boxes.
The service is wonderful, speak in Portuguese English, or French and they'll have someone to help you out, hospitable staff and friendly, making jokes and leaving you at ease inside.
Now... The food. The food was delicious starting from the appetisers if pate, bread, olives and olive oil, as per norm, followed by a wonder cheese platter with a stunning variety of cheese and grapes that go together like heaven. The main course was this stunning octopus dish on a bed or roasted potatoes and grits, topped off with olive oil for an extra kick. The desserts, if you can order a platter with a variety I recommend it, a small taste of everything to top off your evening.

El trato correcto, Fuimos cuatro personas, y nos decidimos por el menu de 12 € , correcto de calidad y cantidad, El problema vino cuando se pidio comida sin sal para uno de nosotros, y al no haber nada en el menu, en lugar de adaptarse, cobraron todo a precio normal, y casi pagamos por una persona lo de las otras 3.
Pero lo que realmente me parecio un timo fue que nos cobranarn 2,50 € por agua del grifo ( bueno en la botella ponia, filtrada en el momento, pero era una botella de cristal rellenada, y con ese precio debia de estar filtrada a traves del cuerno de un unicornio)

Desde o atendimento ao preço (com desconto), passando pela qualidade excelente da comida , o arroz de tamboril foi dos melhores que já comi... a localização também é excelente practicamente no coração da baixa. O único senão é a carta de vinhos onde deve haver sempre escolha low cost, e aqui o tinto mais barato são 19€, claramente puxado para quem não é grande apreciador. Uma refeição a repetir sem duvida !!

Very good restaurant just hidden outside the main tourist track. The food is very good, make sure to have their daily soup, I was amazed by the vegetable soup they prepared.

We were 3, ordered 2 starters - the pasteis de baccahlau and octopus and 3 mains - 2 codfish, one steak. The pasteis de baccahlau had little fish in it, despite being potato/cod croquets, the octopus was more of a salad-like affair that was served in a pan, which was surprisingly not warm (wonder if it came from a can?). The cod mains were yummy, but didn't much care for the kale-like greens and cooked egg (would have preferred another piece of fish). The steak was tasty, but served lukewarm, and there wasn't much of it to begin with. Given that that the starters were each 9E and the mains each 17E, I'd have expected more food for the money or at least better quality (e.g. actually warm dishes, more fish in pasteis, remove boiled egg in favour of more fish etc.). At a total of 82E for 3 people with a glass of wine each, ok, but won't come back.

El trato fue inmejorable. Llegamos 20 minutos antes de la reserva y nos buscaron una mesa y nos invitaron a un vino por la espera. La comida también estaba genial, recomiendo las croquetas.

Great place, trendy restaurant. Fantastic, tasty Portuguees food. I had grilled octopus, tender and tasty. The best I had in years. The chocolat cake, a marvellous brownie with salty caramel, was the perfect dessert.

Arriving in Portugal for the first time and still having dinner at 21.30 was a first for us too. Being able to do this at Taberna do Lis was great. First taste of the Portuguese kitchen and hospitality.

Great food and friendly service in a clean and nicely renovated historic building. Prices on the higher side, but are worth it for the quality on offer. Too many places in the area will leave you disappointed but this one certainly didn't for us. Great house wines too.

Personnel agréable et souriant.
Nous avons déjeuné sur la terrasse dans la ruelle. Les salades sont trop chères par rapport à la quantité et à la qualité. Les pastel baccalau n’ont presque pas de poisson mais beaucoup de pomme de terre. Le risotto trop cuit. Pour les gourmets s’abstenir.
Nous avons eu un geste commercial quand nous nous sommes plaints

Historical building transformed into an hotel. Has a modern original decoration that still have a lot from their roots. The food is very well served and the staff is very available.
