First, the welcoming was warm and friendly, with chill music on the background, perfect lighting and cute plants, I ordered the Power Brunch, eggs, cheese toast, granola and yogurt, a croissant, coffee, juice and pankakes! Everything was delicious! And excellent service, you can't miss Quase Café! Recomemdado!

Sorry to do this because the service was lovely, but I was so disappointed with this place. I think the eggs Benedict might actually have been the worst I've ever had anywhere. The hollandaise sauce was watery, it ran across the whole plate and the bread and spinach were just soggy as a result. The bacon wasn't good either. My friend ordered scrambled eggs, which were dry. The pancakes were quite nice, but mainly because the fruits that came with it were so fresh. Overall, very very disappointing.

Very good place to get some brunch or lunch! Went here with 2 and took the 2-person lunch option. Big portions, but ate everything since it was all so good! Very friendly and helpful staff as well! Would eat here again!

Une très bonne adresse en haut d’Alfama, excellent rapport qualité/prix ce qui n’etait pas facile à trouver dans ce quartier ! Petite salle cosy dans une ruelle, belle carte aux choix variés. J’ai prit un brunch « healthy » : avocado toast avec œuf poché + pancakes au miel accompagnés de fruits + yaourt granola + thé + jus, le tout pour 13,50€, et c’était très bon.

Great cafe hidden on some little street in alfama. Has a great fresh tasty brunch - poached eggs pancackes fresh fruits and juices. Avocado. Toasts. And so much more. Good coffee. Open kitchen you can see them cooking. The design is very particular - paper birds, chairs, fancy objects, clean toilet. Its very cosy I loved it.

At first glance, doesnt seem like a significant place. But dont worry, its worth the hype. The food is magnificent. Order the Eggs benedict,its life changing. The staff is warm, can speak english. Its quite crowded, so expect some waiting. But boy, is it worth the wait.

Well. I scoll down Tripadvisor to find the best rated places for brunch in Lisbon. It says here that the prices goes between 4 and 12€. Certainly not! the breakfast plates were not under 12€. I felt it was very expensive but let's try! it must be good!
First the juices arrived and they tasted like old shoes. No fresh, juicy, full of vitamins juices (which are super overprices too!). Thank God mine was included. Note that you have to add 1€ if you want to get a juice outside of the menu.
Then the breakfast plates. My friend and I ordered two different plates and they were all disappointing. I got the salty plate and it was so dry I had to request so Ketchup to moist it down. Unfortunately, they didn't have Ketchup but gave me some spicy sauce that made things worse. The staff was however kind enough to provide me with an avocado sauce with lemon (which was not good on its own, but moist enough for my food not to be dry like sand. The combo was so particularly tasty neither). My friend has the avocado toast plate and she was hugely disappointed that they provided only ONE avocado toast. For 13.50€, it's a bit expensive, isn't it?!
We both left upset about the food, which was NOT tasty and OVERPRICED. The service and staff were okay.
I really, really don't get the rating from previous travellers. If I was you, I would search for something else!

Freundliches Personal, schöne Auswahl an vorrangig vegetarischen Speisen. Es gab für uns das „Healthy“ Frühstücksmenü mit einem Avocado-Brot, einem pouchierten Ei, Müsli-Joghurt, Detox-Smoothie, zwei Mini-Pancales und Milchkaffee. Mengenmäßig vollkommen ausreichend, preis-leistungs-mäßig eher etwas hochpreisiger anzusiedeln - in Anbetracht der sehr wenigen Sitzplätze (unter 20) sind die Preise aber womöglich entsprechend gerechtfertigt!

Oh my God, this is hands down the best place to have breakfast or brunch in all of Lisbon. All the menus you can choose from are simply a feast for one each, most with two drinks (juice + tea/coffee) included. Go and indulge!
Slightly on the expensive side but if you're hungry and looking to spoil yourself, this is the place. Staff is marvellous, the decor really matches the narrow-street hipster cafe vibe. Can be quite packed and doesn't have a lot of tables, but the wait isn't usually too bad (5-10mins max).
Definitely try Hakuna Matata - their Eggs Benedict with red pepper are to literally die for.

Sounded and looked good after we picked up a flyer at the hotel - decided to give it a go, ordered the menus of healthy and power brunch. Both good selection but overall a little small in portion sizes , pancakes tiny, granola amount minimal and worst offender was cheese on toast (never used pre sliced cheese on toast it doesn't melt properly) - Overall good but too expensive at 13.50 euros each, can't imagine locals would dish that kind of wedge out for it! Flatters to deceive as the old saying goes.

Delicious food, great sevices and nice interior :) we had their healthy and hakuna matata sets, both were fantastic, so was the coffee :) it is good quality, so you may need to wait a few minutes for your table

Bit hidden from the main touristic area, but it has all you would expect ;-) - nice brunch options (mostly pancakes and toasts), smoothies, nice staff. In my avocado toast with poached eggs was bit more lemon than I would like, but the fresh red pepper and parsley turned it into really delicious thing.

I never thought that the best meal we had in Lisbon would be brunch! But these guys really know how to do it, and in a really well styled decor style. We had the brunch for 2 which was essentially 6 courses all in one! (pancakes and fried egg; granola, yoghurt and compote; pesto, tomato and mozzarella toastie; croissant and jam; fruit salad; and coconut cake).
Every.single.bit was delicious and so generously portioned.
We've arrived home and are still raving about it and determined to take their influences into our own breakfast making at home!
Can't wait to come back - thank you!

Nice waitress, but the prices are high and the portions small. The owner must be a foreigner. I paid €2 extra for mushrooms with my scrambled egg, and it was two mushrooms sliced thinly. Juice of the day small and 50% ice. You’re paying for the hipster decor.

We got the best brunch here!! One of us got the power brunch and the other got something small and we had enough for both my husband, myself, and our 3 year old. Highly recommend. The service was great too. Not a lot of seating but cute and cozy!

This was one of the most wonderful find ever. It is very cosy place with wonderful host. Almost everything we had here was just out of the world & so many vegetarian options!

Favourite brunch place! So many tasty options. We were in Lisbon for about 3 days and went to Quase Café every single morning. Food comes out quick as soon as it is ready and everything from the croissants to the waffles were made fresh.

My friends and I went for a walk to Miraduro das portas do sol (amazing viewpoint btw) and after the hike up there we were looking for a place to grab a bite and to have some coffee. When we checked on Google for the nearest place this one was the first to pop up. It's located in a quiet cobbled street with a little arrow pointing to it. The place is really small with only like 5 tables inside, but is full of character. So many small details make this place unique! We were greeted by the friendliest, nicest girl around. She took really good care of us. All 4 of us ordered brunch and the value you get for your money is amazing! It comes with coffee and freshly squeezed fruit juice (or smoothie). If you go there you MUST try their croissants - they are so warm and buttery like they were made in heaven. The granola with yogurt and fresh fruit was also very good. Nothing was too much trouble and you could feel the warm and friendly welcome. If I ever go back to Lisbon I will be visiting again for sure!

The staff was very friendly and courteous. The breakfast was lovingly cooked and all the small differend food looked great and tasted wonderful.
The Cafe is nicely furnished and absolutly a place to feel comfortable.

We're in love with this place! Total chance decision to go here, but we enjoyed the best chocolate cake we've had in a while, as well as the friendliest service you can imagine. The cafe is small and the service is personal. Honest, warm, friendliness from the heart and not learned at tourism school.
I would also recommend the Matcha Tea. My wife vouches for the home made Ice Tea.

Extremely inefficient. We waited for 15-20 minutes to get the table. There was nobody to take the order for 15 minutes after we were seated. And food actually took 40 minutes to be served to us. Patience of all levels was tested. They are highly understaffed and clearly show bad management skills.

Refreshing!
I went there with my friends after the lockdown and there’s no words to describe the good feeling we all had! The girls are really nice and welcoming and it’s such a pretty place! You can really feel the JOY they talk about! The food was amazing, we had different menus and it was all delicious and so fresh. Thank you so much for the experience, we couldn’t ask more for our first Brunch out after lockdown!

We came here twice for breakfast as this place is just amazing. It's so cute the setting and the music they play is an old school soul. The staff are super friendly. The second day was my partners birthday when we came in and the staff came in as a surprise with a free little cake and candle and sang my partner happy birthday. It was just amazing and we were both really happy.
The food and coffee were also amazing. I ordered the avocado toast with poached eggs and the following day a toast with scrambled eggs and hollandaise sauce. My partner had a pancake for her second day and she liked it. The prices are also reasonable.
If you ever feel like eating breakfast or lunch in a cute setting with great soul music and food that tastes great and doesn't break the bank, check it out!

I cannot say enough about this AWESOME little spot in Lisboa. It is exactly what any visitor dreams of finding. Quase Café is about 100 paces from the best spot in Lisbon to catch the stunning sunrise. After you've taken in that once in a lifetime scene, you take a 2 minute walk to Quase Café and take a seat for a wonderful breakfast with extremely cheerful wait staff and delicious breakfast. They also play 70's rock hits for ambiance.....very unique! There are only about 10 seats, so get there early and you will start your day off right!

Excellent food and something for everyone - salty and sweet, healthy fatty. A great choice for any appetite. Next time I want to try the Saudavel Healthy it looked so good! I had the Benedict which was also good.

Quirky little cafe hidden down one of Lisbon small side streets, the breakfast here is well worth a detour to find this spot. The food is delicious, and the portions from the brunch menu are huge which helps set you up for a day of site seeing. This a popular and slightly squeezy spot so you may have a wait for a table.

This place is epic. If you go as a pair, or have an impressive appetite, get the sharing platter. It's got enough to feed a small kingdom. The waitress is really friendly and has excellent English to make up for my god-awful Portuguese. Sit at the sofa by the entrance to enjoy the small plastic zebra.

Went here based on the great reviews - terrible mistake. I ordered the spinach, eggs, bacon, hollandaise toast (most expensive thing on the menu) which arrived cold and soggy. I didn't even finish it. It's clearly not freshly made food, but also wasn't reheated well. The staff was lovely though.

Die Gerichte sind gut und deshalb auch nicht unbedingt billig. Allerdings ist der Service unterdurchschnittlich. Den Mitarbeitern fehlt - aus welchen Gründen auch immer - eine große Portion Freundlichkeit. Gesprochen mit Gästen wird zudem gar nicht.

I can be picky about brunch, and this place exceeds expectations on all fronts. Cute and quiet, with friendly, attentive service, but the food remains the star of the show. There is a diverse menu and every bite was fantastic. Both savory and sweet dishes are inventive and expertly executed.
If I weren't leaving Lisbon today, I'd have waited to review, because the restaurant can't seat more than 20, and I wouldn't want to get shut out. This is the place to go for a proper brunch. Highly recommended!

Hidden place a bit up on the hill but totally worth it. As called “power brunch” menu was the spark of our morning. It has egg, croissant, yoghurt, Nutella pancake and toast with coffee and juice in it for 14 euro. It was enough until late afternoon. The staff didn’t seem too impressed that we arrived only couple
Of minutes after opening but didn’t explicitly behave bad or so.

What a lovely place with lovely staff, they are extremely helpful! They do take away coffee as well in case you're in a hurry and can't wait for a table. They offer various options for breakfast and also various options for coffee and tea. We loved it.

The most amazing place for breakfast I've been in my 2 weeks trip to Portugal!! For 15 euros you get HUGE and DELICIOUS breakfast that is definitely good for two people, everything was so tasty and the place is cozy and warm! Highly recommended!!!

We were in Lisbon for 3 days and ate here twice. Wow. We ate almost everything they offered. All was great. They spoke English and accepted plastic for payment. Small place but worth the wait. Get there early or after 10:30. My wife loved the avocado toast with a side of jamon. Go here. They deserve your business

Breakfast was excellent and menu well thought through. In stark contrast coffee was quite bad but that didn't sto me to give 5 stars anyway. They took great care of us and were kind enough to bring the kid's chair for our little one. We were lucky to come right after they open in the morning. People who come later were standing in the queue because the place is super tiny (but very cosy!)

Super cute place, it has an indie vibe in its decoration. The brunch menu has good prices considering the food portions you get. When we got there it was packed with people, but it only took 8 minutes to get a table.
Service was truly helpful and very friendly!
We'll definetly go back!

Very cool little cafe with amazing staff that provide great customer service and speak very good English. The food was freshly prepared, the food was fantastic. Loved everything that was out in front of me. You get so much for your money. Wish we would of found this place sooner as it was incredible.

Le petit déjeuner dans cet endroit est juste un régal et complet ( pancakes, œufs brouillés, smoothie, croissant ...) ,le personnel est super sympathique et la bouffe est bonne, de quoi bien commencer la journée . Il y'a où recharger son portable et du wifi.

We were a group of 5 and we all LOVED this breakfast spot! If we'd had more time, we would have gone back. Many options, reasonable prices, friendly service, fresh juices... I can go on. We ordered the pancakes and they were divine! Enjoy!

Gemütliches Café, nettes Personal, Küche zum Zuschauen; optimal für den kleinen Zwischenstopp auf ein Heißgetränk.
Wir hatten die „Hot chocolate with whipped cream“. Empfehlung für alle die es süß mögen: ein Traum - von der Konsistenz her fast Pudding!=o)
Crêpe mit Zimt und Zucker war ebenfalls sehr lecker und die Preise sind vollkommen angemessen und für die Lage mitten in der Alfama günstig!

Cosy little café in Alfama located on one of the typical narrow, cobbled streets.
I had their pastéis de bacalhau, their first batch of the day. Delish. Made me think of mom's.
Pleasant owners run this hip cute place where you can also buy some homemade trinkets and clothes.

Quasa cafe is a really cute cafe with super friendly staff! The breakfast was awesome and the croissant are really delicious :). Breakfast menus are around 5-12 euros and offer plenty of food so you have more than enough to eat :) definitely recommenable!

Ci siamo arrivati io e mia figlia a conclusione di un tour random fra i saliscendi di Lisbona. Non avrei mai immaginato di trovare in questo vicolo a 2 passi dal castello un localino così piacevole. Accogliente...raccolto ma ospitale con Brunch da mille stelle....ricco di oggetti artigianali davvero di eccellente fattura e ottimo gusto. Internazionale ma tipico. Efficiente e professionale ma amichevole e garbato nel porsi a servizio. Sorrisi e prezzi bassi. Qualità e calore umano olire a wifi libero. Tappa sicura dei miei prossimi viaggi

Very good place for breakfast. The breakfast menus are quite big, so you should be very hungry when you are ordering them. The smoothies are really great and so is the pastry.

Ein wenig versteckt und nicht von Touristen überlaufen. Der Kaffee war gut und das Croissant war lecker. Der Service war super. Die Räume sind mit liebe und Geschmack eingerichtet. Manche dekosachen kann man sogar kaufen. Wir sind vollkommen glücklich und satt rausgegangen.

Arrêtez vous dans ce restaurant charmant pour une pause au calme dans l'Alfama. La Deco est reposante, les patronnes très sympas et surtout on mange très bien pour pas cher ! 7,5€ : une soupe, trois snacks portugais, un café et de l'eau ou une bière :) Nous sommes ravis de nous être arrêtés ici =) En bonus : Wifi et prise de courant !

Amazing service. Very friendly and helpful to those not originally from the area. Homemade, made from scratch meals taste holistic and natural. No fake gimmicks or false claims. Good value for meals and very presentable. Can't speak highly enough, so glad we found them on our stay in Lisbon - multiple visits!!

Wonderful! Friendly and helpful owner who speaks excellent English as well as French and Portuguese. It's a nicely decorated laid-back cafe with comfy couches and chairs. All-fruit smoothies are delicious - we especially liked the manga-manjericao (mango-basil). Sandwiches are also good, recommend the vegetarian.
