Excellent, traditional style restaurant, everything homemade, great value, lovely staff. Will be going back.

Ottima pizzeria gestita da Antonio, un pugliese trapiantato in portogallo. Il locale è accogliente ed il personale molto cortese. La pizza è ottima, sottile e croccante, ben condita e cotta nel forno a legna. Vale la pena farci un salto per gustare una buona pizza!

Excellent service to match the delicious food. The garlic bread and bruschetta that were highly recommend on another review lived up to the billing. The selection of pizzas we had were all delicious and although I cant list them all without exception were delicious.

Returned here after fabulous time last year and I am happy to say that it's still under the same family management. Excellent meal as usual.

Fantastic food, all fresh and full of flavour, the staff are all so nice and welcoming and the bonus is it's all reasonable prices.

Fantastic Italian off the beaten track. Fabulous, warm greeting & lovely food. They catered for our 2 year old & our new one in her pram, very kind. I’ve actually been to a previous restaurant by the same owner on the Isle of Man. It’s still as superb.. A must visit in Carvoeiro....

Very nice restaurant. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is clean. Food are good, especially the pizza, that you must order to experience it. We ordered pizza with four topping which is very tasty. We also ordered mixed grill and spagetti with seafood which are not as good as the pizza. Overall experience is very good.

Niet te moeilijk doen, maar hier gewoon lekker gaan eten! Een lekkere niet té uitgebreide kaart, maar waaruit je wel een goede keus kunt maken. De anti pasta, de pizza's, de cannaloni, de tiramisu, de fantastische sangria, het was héérlijk allemaal! Het personeel doet erg hun best en is super vriendelijk! Een lekkere limoncello van het huis. Ik snap waarom mijn vrienden hier geregeld komen!

Pizzas um pouco caras e com pouca variedade. Ninguém no restaurante era português embora uma das meninas falava razoavelmente bem. Não tem multibanco.

Verstehe die schlechten Bewertungen überhaupt nicht! Das essen war SUPER, so einige italienische Pizzaköche sollten sich hier ein Beispiel nehmen. Der Service war sogar bei Hochbetrieb (alle Tische voll) freundlich, zuvorkommend und auf Zack! Sehr zu empfehlen! (Zur Sicherheit vorher reservieren)

Die Pizza war in Ordnung. Der Service sehr hochwertig und Top und freundlich. Aber ein bisschen zu aufdringlich und hier wieder wenn man kein Englisch kann sondern nur Deutsch, dann quatschen sie dir was auf du sagst ja und man bekommt dann was, was man gar nicht bestellt hat.

Hier muss ich einfach meine erste Google-Rezession schreiben, da wir leider auf die guten Bewertungen im Netz hereingefallen sind. Soeben waren wir im Restaurant Mona Lisa essen. Vorweg: Ich bin kein Gourmet, gehe aber gerne mal essen und mag es eher schlicht und einfach. Positiv im Restaurant: Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Draußen kann man auch nett sitzen. Danach ging es leider bergab. Die Antipasti alla Chef hat nichts mit einer guten italienischen Vorspeise gemein und war einfach enttäuschend. Die Hauptspeisen (Grillteller und Hähnchen Mona Lisa) waren nahezu ungewürzt, das Gemüse verbrannt bzw. verkocht, und ohne jedweden Geschmack - die Kombination, dass drei von drei Speisen auf zwei unterschiedlichen Tellern nicht gelingen, muss man erst einmal hinbekommen. Komischerweise wurde nicht einmal nachgefragt, ob es geschmeckt hat, da die Teller und Blicke es anscheinend verraten hatten. Zum krönenden Abschluss gab es noch dreckige Gläser bei unserer letzten Bestellung. Es lag sicherlich nicht am Stresspegel im Restaurant, dass der Abend so gelaufen ist, da mit uns nur insgesamt acht Gäste vor Ort waren. Leider kann ich nichts zur Pizza sagen, da wir diese nicht probiert haben (deshalb gibt's auch zwei Sterne). Würde ich es weiterempfehlen? Nur dann, wenn Ihr direkt dort wohnt und die Pizza ausprobieren wollt. Ansonsten ein ganz klares Nein!

This place does the best pizza/pasta/any other Italian food you can think of. Like for real. I don't care what your dinner plans were, cancel them, go here. Food=Awesome Beer=Awesome (I guess other drinks would be good as well) Staff=Awesome If you say the secret phrase "pizza is life" to the staff you'll get 50% off. I'm joking, don't do that, they won't know what you're on about. Go get some pizza!
