I feel a bit sorry for these guys and all the bad reviews. I had a perfectly decent experience with them. Car was pretty new and in good condition. Had it for 2 months and had no issues. Pick up procedure was fine. Yes they tried to sell me extra insurance but they all do that. Just say no thanks, it's not hard. There was no issues when I returned the car and everyone I dealt with at each stage was perfectly civil and friendly. Sometimes I think people get the service they deserve - I know the staff here probably have to deal with some difficult people on an hourly basis. Basically, if you booked your car with these guys it is cos it was cheap. You can pay double or treble for the same car from one of the big boys, but they too will still try to sell you extra insurance and if you bring the car back with any issues they too will sting you for the excess. Drive on offer a perfectly decent service for a very low price. If you expect gold standard service but only want to pay pennies, then you are always going to be disappointed. UPDATE - have used them again recently and again the service I received was very good indeed. Car was in excellent condition with only 20k on the clock, the guy who served me could not have been more helpful. Plus, being stuck for another month due to Covid lockdown, today I had to extend the hire for a month which unlike others I have tried, was a simple painless procedure (straight through to a very helpful woman on the phone / two minute conversation). Crucially they did not try to hammer me with the additional cost which was 25% less than anything I could find on line for a new agreement for the same period. Very pleased and will use them all the time now.

Waited 25 minutes for a shuttle next to a pop-up sim card vendor, then another 15 minutes in line at the agency, then paid triple the booking cost to return the car early. Save yourself the headache and go with a real rental car agency.

We've had a great experience with our rental! The pick up and drop off went smooth and fast. Staff was very friendly and honest, and spoke English very well. The car was excellent and clean!

NE RESERVEZ PAS CHEZ EUX!!!! 1) Il faut déjà trouver la personne à l'aéroport. Une fois que c'est fait, l'on constate que cette personne est complètement inadéquate pour son job!!! 2) à la réception, personnel peu agréable 3) nous avons du attendre la voiture qui n'était pas là alors que la réservation était faite 4) la voiture ne correspondait pas à ce que nous avions loué. Nous avons montré notre contrat en disant que sur internet c'était bien mis une photo du modèle Abarth et l'employée nous a répondu que..... ils n'avaient jamais loué d'Abarth = arnaque car on paye plus cher pour ce modèle là! 5) la voiture était en mauvaise état avec des rayures et dommages sur la carrosserie à plusieurs endroits. Au vu de comment les choses se passait, nous avons filmé la carrosserie de toute la voiture ainsi que la personne qui s'occupait de nous. C'est là que les choses ont dégénérées car ils ne voulait pas que l'on filme. Si on a rien à se reprocher, on a pas peur d'être filmé. 6) le supérieur est donc venu et a cassé notre contrat de location. Il nous a remboursé les 30Euro qu'ils nous avait facturé pour le retour à 6h le matin ?!? et débloqué le montant sur la carte de crédit concernant la franchise. Mais par contre, nous n'avons pas été remboursé sur la location que nous avions déjà payée!! Et maintenant, il va falloir se battre pour pouvoir récupérer notre argent. TOTAL ARNAQUE ET PERSONNES MÉDIOCRES

De gastvrouw op de luchthaven was zeer onvriendelijk en gestresst. Ze had geen overzicht over wie zich als eerste had gemeld en dan vervolgens in de shuttle bus kon. Gevolg: we hebben ruim 45 minuten op de luchthaven moeten wachten op de shuttle bus. De gastvrouw communiceerde zeer minimaal in matig Engels. Eenmaal aangekomen bij het verhuurbedrijf hebben nogmaals 45 minuten moeten wachten voordat we onze huurauto hadden. Dit was de eerste en laatste keer dat wij bij drive on holidays een auto hebben gehuurd. Nog nooit eerder zulke negatieve ervaringen lange wachttijden gehad bij een verhuurbedrijf.

premier point négatif : quand tu réserve une voiture à la descente de l'avion pas de point de rendez-vous pas de bureau , il faut chercher soi-même la personne responsable dans l' aéroport... deuxième point négatif : ils vous forcent a prendre une ou plusieurs assurances or que normalement il y a des assurances de bases qui nous couvre en cas de vols ou accidents mais pour eux ce n'est pas valable.. troisième point négatif : notre voiture a été embarqué a la fourrière mais en une demi heure le problème était régler sauf qu'il ne voulais pas nous rendre la voiture qu'il n'y avait pas les papiers officiels de la voiture donc mon mari a du prendre le taxi plusieurs fois dans le but d'avoir les papiers mais l'agence de location n'avait pas ces papiers ... donc nous avons perdu 5h attendre à la fourrière qu'ils retrouvent ces papiers pour nous entendre dire qu'ils nous donnaient une autre voiture ... merci on a quand même perdu 5h quoi... quatrième point négatif : il y avait un coup sur le coté e la voiture qui avait été vu et constater par mon mari et une personne de l'agence mais au moment de rendre la voiture une autre personne de l'agence très désagréable nous "accusaient" comme quoi ce n'est pas sur la papier de réservation et nous a demandé si on avait fait une photo pour prouvé que c'était la avant qu'on la loué..mais bon après plusieurs minutes le responsable est venu et tout s'est arrangé ... cinquième point négatif : on avait loué une décapotable mais on a eu un superbe mercerdes super!!! ( ironique) on paye pour quelque chose que tu n'as pas enfin de compte! sixième point négatif : il vous demande une réserve d'argent 1300 qu'ils prélèvent sur votre carte mais qui vous sera rendu entre 7 à 21 jours ouvrable. donc pour conclure je ne vous recommande mais vraiment pas cette agence!!!

Where do I start? From the airport pick up to the car itself this has been a nightmare. The woman who works at the airport was the rudest person I have ever encountered in my entire life. She rolled her eyes at the few simple questions we had like, "how long will it take for the shuttle to arrive?". At first she told us the shuttle was full. Then a few moments later she came back in telling me to board. My friend had run to the restroom during this time. I asked her to hold the shuttle a moment and of course she did not. After this I jumped on the live chat asking to cancel and was told I had already been charged more than 50 euro. Upon arrival at the rental office which was pretty far from the airport we were given a car with a dead battery. The second car they gave us they changed their mind mid way and gave us a third. This cars oil light was on which we informed them about. They then lie to us and say the oil has been changed. Since this is a new car we didn't believe them bc the sensors automatically reset. After a 90 min flight delay and 1.5 hours in the rental agency we didn't have the energy to argue about them denying us another vehicle. Fast forward to right now, having barely driven in Lisbon for our two day stay we departed for Lagos. On the highway the engine started having issues maintaining it's RPMs. The oil light and an accompanying sound warned us. 20 min later the car wouldn't go. We pulled over on the side of the road and the smell of smoke was coming from the engine. This is not an operator error. This is the gross negligence of a company trying to get every last Euro out of your pocket. Please for the love of everything holy do not trust this company with your safety and that of your friends and family. If the deal sounds too good to be true it is.

They did an excellent job. Meet the representative at the Vodafone store in the Lisbon airport and ride a shuttle to their facility. The check in/check out process was very fast and the car was new and very clean. I highly recommend them. Another great thing is that they are off airport which made it an extremely easy drive to the Algarve. There was almost no traffic going out of Lisbon or returning.

Seen mixed reviews and were a little dubious about using them. Couldn't fault this company to be honest. Would use again for sure on my return to Lisbon. Tip to people using car hire companies: Before using any car hire company make sure you go round the car with your phone and take a video(HD if possible) of every panel highlighting any damage, scrapes or scuffs, internal and external!

Lang verhaal kort: Je moet lang wachten; 1,5 uur toen we de auto gingen ophalen en 1,5 uur toen we terugkwamen. Auto vol krassen meegekregen, remlichten deden het niet en olie moest ververst worden! Bij inlevering draaide wij ook nog eens op voor schade die wij NIET gemaakt hebben maar wel ter plekke moesten betalen! Ze verdienen niet eens deze ene ster!

The car that we rented didn’t start on our way back to Lisbon. After tons of attempts the engine finally started. At the gas station the same thing happened. It was freaking stressful. After we finally arrived they informed us that the 30€ after hours fee will be applied and we should have called them. We showed them the video where we are trying to start the engine. They offered the alternative: to drop off the car the next morning to avoid the after hours fee. Basically, TO TAKE THE BROKEN CAR AND DRIVE IT BACK THE NEXT MORNING TO AVOID THE AFTER-HOURS FEE. We wouldn’t arrive after-hours if the car wouldn’t be broken. The manager is a moron. I’ve never had such a bad experience in my whole life. The young gentleman who works there is amazing. He’s not the manager, unfortunately.

Very good pricing. Far from airport. Terrible customer service. Getting through on the phone to let them know you arrived can take 30 minutes. Getting through on the phone to request an extension is nearly impossible. The web page tells you to send an email to request an extension. I did that four days before the end of my contract. Also left a message on the answering machine (after four attempts to get through). Never received a reply to either the email or the phone message. Was charged a late penalty when I returned the car after the end of the contract regardless of the fact that I followed their written instructions. They have a long way to go! The lowest price is not always the best.

É uma rent a car cujo custo está muito bem para a oferta, que é diversificada e os veículos são recentes. A empresa tem um cuidado especial com a limpeza, registando-se com efeito o brio dos colaboradores nessas tarefas, que se revela aquando da entrega. Relativamente perto do aeroporto, com shuttle regular entre o parque de viaturas e escritórios, e o aeroporto. A simpatia do pessoal foi um constante que na recolha da viatura quer na entrega.

Dentro das expectativas para uma companhia de low cost massivo. Os transfers para a estação são rápidos. Os carros nem sempre estão nas melhores condições, no meu faltava uma escova limpa-vidros, mas enfim, andou e não deu problemas. Quando recebi este carro, o tanque não estava cheio e a estado interior, não estava a 100%.

For deposit they only accept credit cards, no debit cards, credit car MUST be on the name of the lead driver and the deposit is insane 1100€, yes 1100€, so they just want to make money on selling extra insuramce which would lower the deposit + fees for everything. Never again!!!!

VERGONHA!!! Um carro premium com quase 60 mil km!!! Completamente todo riscado, vidros por dentro todos sujos, deposito de gasóleo só com um quarto, (o contrato que fiz aqui na Alemanha foi, como em uma firma normal é Cheio/Cheio). Se não fosse a simpatia e o empenho do empregado que me foi buscar ao aeroporto e depois também fez a entrega do carro, muito sinceramente não tinha trazido o carro. Para agravar mais a situação, esqueci-me da minha Gopro 7 (Minha culpa.) (tinha-a comprado uma semana antes) (estava a carregar na consola entre os bancos),lembrei-me na viagem de regresso para o aeroporto (máximo 10/15 minutos depois da entrega do carro) telefonei para lá a avisar que me tinha esquecido e que em meia hora lá ia alguém da minha família buscar. Quando chega la essa pessoa, foi-lhe dito que não estava la nada. disse para verem as camaras de vigilância, disseram que foram vistas e que não viram nada. Fiz queixa aqui na Alemanha e na polícia em Portugal. Aqui na Alemanha, sei que está a correr..... Enviaram o número de serie para a Internet, assim que uma foto ou vídeo dessa camara entrar, essa pessoa vai ser apanhada. Em Portugal, a polícia disse que não podia fazer nada........enfim!! Portugal no seu melhor. Sou português e jurei á bandeira, mas em certos momentos como este, (Tenho vergonha de ser Português). Vergonha!!

Arnaque totale : FUYEZ !!!! Arrivés le 20 avril, l'employé extrêmement arrogant et agressif nous explique qu'"Ici, c'est le Portugal" (sic) et donc que tout ce qui a été certifié par notre site de résa (en l'occurence "happy car") est obsolète et qu'ils n'en ont ni connaissance ni obligation de respect contractuel et donc : - Surcoût obligatoire de 30 € pour location de boitier pour les portiques sans même nous demander notre destination ni l'utilité pour nous; - Surcoût idem de 30 € car nous déposerons la voiture à 7h du matin à la restitution (ils sont soi disant fermés à cette heure et devrons ouvrir pour nous, vérification faite au retour bien d'autres clients sont là comme nous et donc x par 30 € bonjour lé bénéf ;-) - Et surtout perte totale de contrôle par l'employé qui devient extrêmement brutal et méprisant lorsque nous refusons de souscrire à son assurance complémentaire à + de 200 € pour 8 jours ...! Alors que nous lui justifions pourtant même de nos propres assurances franchises.... Du coup 1900 € de caution prélevée par carte bleue, et voiture confiée sans explication aucune et sous le rictus se voulant condescendant de ce petit monsieur, plus proche du pathétique courtier égaré rémunéré à la com° que du professionnel de la relation client voulu par sa fonction qu'il dégrade... FUYEZ FUYEZ FUYEZ ce type d'officine est pour moi la honte de la profession.

They force you into buying extra insurance (even if you already have full coverage) by demanding a huge deposit which you can only pay for with one credit card, which usually does not cover such high payments! they don‘t accept any other kind of payment or multiple cards, so you have to accept the „no deposit-extra insurance“ option! worst service, rude employees! DO NOT RENT YOUR CAR AT THIS PLACE!! VERY DISAPPOINTED

We've used this car hire firm twice now and both times we haven't had a problem. Always received very good service and never had any problems when returning the car. This time when we returned the car there was a fuel strike going on and we couldn't fill up the fuel tank, drive on holidays never charged us extra for the missing diesel, which was very conciderate I thought. We will definitely continue using drive on holidays in the future.

Dei uma estrela pq é preciso para avaliar , mas ela não merece nenhuma. Esperamos de pé no aeroporto, ligando incansavelmente para a empresa que não atendia, por 1:30, a entrega do carro demorou mais uns 30 minutos. Essa espera de 2h pelo carro fez com que meus pais e eu perdessemos a programação de quase um dia de viagem, deixando de conhecer 2 cidades portuguesas. Não voltarei a pegar e não recomendo a ninguém.

Péssima locadora estive em julho de 2018 nos deram um carro amassado ,riscado, muito usado e rodado, sujo, pneu carecas, o qual um estourou, no segundo dia, o carro foi guinchado e ainda tinha mais treze dias de aluguel. Perdi muito tempo e se não fosse a boa vontade da loja de pneus não sei como seria. Al da demora na locação, quase 2 horas

A fuir Vous réservé par cartrawler. Vous comprenez après avoir réglé que ce n est pas à l aéroport. Un véhicule vous attend. 10 minutes après vous êtes à l agence Drive on Holidays. Accuei médiocre . On vous propose soit de payer 90 euros soit de vous prendre 1500 euros sur votre carte bancaire.... Ce montant est une garantie sui est débité de votre compte. A la prise du véhicule le plein n est pas fait . Vous devez revenir avec la même essence comme si c était facile.... De plus les kilomètres inscrit sont différents de votre contrat. Le pire reste à venir. Si vous devez rendre le véhicule avant 8 heures du matin on vous demande 30 euros Une tres belle arnaque made in Portugal. Je vous conseille d éviter cette agence.

Personale scortese e scorretto! Dopo aver pagato l’auto con l’assicurazione completa al momento di ritirarla ci hanno chiesto di pagare un’altra assicurazione per danni e furti dicendo che non era compresa. Ci hanno chiesto una franchigia di 1500 euro per una Captur. Per nostra negligenza, non abbiamo letto questo importo specificato nelle ultime pagine dei termini e condizioni che però è stata messo bene in evidenza nel voucher quando ormai non potevamo più cancellare la prenotazione. Abbiamo chiesto se ci fossero altre auto disponibili con franchigia inferiore e ci hanno detto che l’unica possibilità era pagare altri 150 euro in più per 2 giorni. Abbiamo verificato su internet e invece c’erano altre auto disponibili a minore franchigia . Non abbiamo accettato le condizioni e ci siamo rivolti ad un altro autonoleggio. c’è stato rimborsata solo l’assicurazione da parte di Booking mentre loro si sono tenuti i soldi.

Ein kleiner Autovermieter in der Nähe des Flughafens von Lissabon gelegen. Es gibt bei einer Reservierung kostenlose Flughafentransfers was sehr praktisch ist und prima funktioniert. Das Büro kommt etwas spartanisch daher aber absolut ausreichend und zweckmäßig. Es handelt sich eher um eine low budged Autovermietung. Entsprechend ist auch die Flotte. Allerdings sich die Autos völlig in Ordnung und sauber und ohnehin viel praktischer als große Luxuslimousinen. Die Preise sind absolut fair. Ich würde dort jederzeit wieder Mieten. Alles klappt schnell und unbürokratisch. Top

Porem há escadas longas de degraus curtos.Situado na parte alta da cidade,depois de Alfama.Chekin muito tardio e sem recepção.Uber para aeroporto 7,56 Euros.Não há metrô ate o local,usamos elétrico do centro ate bem próximo ao local.Janela do banheiro precisa de tranca e falta local para sabonetes dentro do Box .O local dentro é melhor que,as fotos.Ficamos no segundo andar.

Pessímo!!! Não recomendo e será a última vez que alugo automóvel. Fiz a reserva pela Ryanair, na qual optei em colocar o seguro e motorista adicional, quando cheguei na drive a funcionária ficou tentando vender seguro novamente pois não acreditou que tinha feito a adesão já pelo site e ficou dizendo a todo o momento que não o que fazer ou que saber se pelo seguro que fizemos pelo site. Fizemos a opção de tanque cheio, só veio 1/4. Enfim, NÃO RECOMENDO! A drive&Go por exemplo não tem taxa extra para motorista adicional, na drive tivemos que pagar quase 20€

Péssima experiência. Só devolver o veículo, disseram que havia um dano no parachoques dianteiro. Mostrei que se tratava de mancha e removi com minha blusa. Disseram que teria que pagar, como dano, assim mesmo. Trataram de forma rude e grosseira e, mesmo com a mancha tendo sido retirada, insistem em cobrar por danos. Nunca mais.

Dieser Vermieter hat nicht mal einen Stern verdient. Habe einen Wagen gemietet und sollte um 22:30 am Lissabonner Flughafen am Meetingpoint abgeholt werden. Es kam keiner. Das Office war nicht zu erreichen. Als ich endlich jemanden in Porto erreichen konnte, haben die Kollegen versucht jemanden in Lissabon zu erreichen - ohne Erfolg. Good prices. Tangeable costumer service in Lisbon. Oporto is usually much better. Horrible fuel policy. You return as you pick up. If you bring less, you pay 15 euros for each quarter. If you bring a quarter, half or 3/4 more you get zero refund. Not impressed at all. I also had requested to pay an extra upgrade for a another car which had full tank and this possibility was denied. The 2stars go to the transfer driver who kindly accepted to drive us to terminal 2 without us having requested in advance. But please be aware that you have to request. They don't ask.

Waiting time to pick up pre-reserved car very long. Need to wait for bus first (that took 30min). At the office were the only customers there and still took more than 1h to process the booking and hand over the car. Yes they try to upsell insurance etc, but I’ve read the other reviews and was somewhat prepared. Had no issues returning the car and getting back deposit. Would use them again, but if tight on time better rent from someone with an in-terminal counter.

Nach kurzer Wartezeit wurden wir zur Station gebracht. Etwas Zeit sollte man mit nehmen. Das Personal war nett. Wir haben uns eine Zusatzversicherung andrehen lassen die sich gut angehört hat (70 Euro) Das auto war auch sehr schön. Bis dahin waren wir Positiv bestimmt :) Auf Grund der Coronakriese wurde unser Flug gestrichen, deshalb wollten wir früher als geplant zum Flughafen. Deshalb wollten wir den Wagen früher angeben,laut Telefonat wäre es kein Problem den Wagen um 6 Uhr ( 8 Uhr Öffnung ) ab zu geben. Vor Ort wollte man uns dann 30 Euro gebühren dafür abnehmen, was man uns am Telefon nicht gesagt hatte, und das hat das Personal bestritten. So fühlten wir uns abgezockt, Sehr Ärgerlich !!! Die andere Sache wäre, das wenn wir den Wagen mit mehr Tankfüllung abgeben würden, dann würden die den Rest den wir zuviel Getankt haben ausgezahlt bekommen. Da wusste natürlich auch keiner was von ! Die Zusatzversicherung ist kein muss und wenn man den Wagen wie besprochen abgibt dann spart man sich die mehrkosten von ca. 100 Euro :) Nach der erfahung würden wir da nicht nochmal einen Wagen mieten wollen !!! Trotzdem hatten wir ein paar sehr Schöne Tage in Portugal :)

Be very careful of all the upsells. They will rent you a cheap car and then when you pick it up push for additional add ons. You will pay an 18€ for a toll box so you can take the toll roads. And then pay for them when you return the car. You will pay extra for insurance. We had a credit card with insurance but it wasn’t on the drivers name so they didn’t accept it. The customer service is very pushy and not very helpful. All we needed was a name change on the booking but apparently that was impossible. So double check the name on the booking. All round a huge hassle for what should be a simple process to pick up a car rental.

Horrível!! Péssimo atendimento, falta de informação, e o atendente nos obrigou a comprar o seguro completo por 380€ ou pagar por 280€ pelo seguro básico. Caso contrário teríamos que deixar 2100€ de franquia no cartão. Achei um absurdo!! Já no translado, esperamos por 40 minutos. O carro demorou e nos ofereceu um que não cabia as nossas malas. Esperando por mais de 1 hora. Péssima experiência. Não recomendo!! Nunca mais volto a esta empresa!

The cheapest car rental I found. It is about 10min outside of the airport, but they have a shuttle bus. Calculate some time as the process is long till you get the car. I advise definitely getting the VIA VERDE, some tolls are not payable otherwise and you get fined.

Queríamos optar pelo seguro da locadora mas foi nos dito que como o aluguer era de um dia só seria possível optar pelo seguro se fizéssemos uma reserva nova de no mínimo 4 dias, proposemo-nos a pagar o seguro pelos 4 dias embora só tivéssemos um dia de aluguer mas disseram-nos que não, ou criávamos uma reserva nova ou teríamos de deixar o falor de 2500 euros de franquia. Acho impensável recusar a um cliente a opção do seguro por a reserva ser de um dia, 112 euros era o valor do seguro para os 4 dias mas Susana, a supervisora na tentativa de ganhar mais dinheiro para a empresa fez o ultimato de 250 euros pelo seguro mais a reserva nova ou então o depósito da franquia, acho lamentável esta situação, já aluguei várias vezes carro e inclusive já trabalhei no ramo e nunca um cliente pode ser obrigado a alterar ou cancelar uma reserva por ter apenas um dia de aluguer, uma coisa é cobrar no mínimo 4 dias de seguro mas negar essa hipótese ao cliente é obrigá-lo a fazer uma reserva nova é simplesmente inacreditável. O valor que perdemos com a Discover car Hire irrelevante comparado ao transtorno que a locadora mediante a supervisão dessa senhora provocou a 8 pessoas, jamais presenciei uma coisa assim, acusou ainda o meu amigo de ser mal educado por estar a protestar e a requerer informações claras negando também a apresentação do valor das coberturas, valores que não podem ser ocultados quando existem dúvidas existentes. Não sei se a culpa é da locadora se da supervisão mas que a locadora foi riscada de vez pela nossa parte foi, se com a nossa intenção de fazer seguro foi assim que fomos tratados imagino com os restantes clientes que nada pretendem adquirir. Frustração e sentimento de injustiça, para não falar da coação a que fomos sujeitos.

Poor customer service, hidden fees and outrageous costs for extras. Whatever you do, do not use the tyre sealant liquid to fix your tire but call breakdown assistance instead. They will charge you €100 for the liquid alone. If you decide to rent from them, make sure you rent within their opening hours otherwise there is a €30 fee, check the car properly including tyres, and have some backup money to spend.

ARNAQUE!!! Véhicule reservé et payé d'avance sur internetr pour un repas au portugal. Une fois arrivé au portugal, je me dirige vers le lieu de RDV dans l'aeroport. Pas de boutique, juste un homme avec une pancarte... Il me fait attendre 45 min dehors pour attendre de remplir sa navette. Une fois arrivé dans leurs locaux (qui ne sont en fait pas dans l’aéroport), il faut encore attendre pas mal de temps. Ensuite arrivé à mon tour on me demande de repayer une somme directement au comptoir (environ 75% du prix de la location!!!! pour récupérer la voiture. Je demande donc un preuve écrite de cette demande. J'ai passé 2h30 dans les locaux sans jamais avoir ce papier!!! Je suis reparti sans le papier et sans la voiture!!! J'ai téléchargé Uber et un chauffeur est venu en 10 min pour m'amener a mon fameux repas que j'avais bien sur raté avec ces histoires! En gros grâce à Drive On Holidays, 450€ d'avion pour rien (repas raté), 50€ de voiture payé d'avance sur internet envolé et environ 150€ d’Uber! Bien sur personne ne répond aux réclamations !!!! Évitez à tout prix cette société, vous payerez 3-4 fois le prix initial!!!

⚠️ Never rent a car there. It’s a scam!! If you take a cover online when you book, they make you pay a second one when you take the car. And you can’t do anything about it. The only other choice is to cancel your renting but you won’t get refund of course. They know you won’t do that so they just make you pay until you don’t have anymore money! Good luck if you chose to rent a car there !

Very difficoult to find the person in charge at the Arrivals. 2 hours and half waiting to take the car. It was upon whashed and cleaned and still wet so it was not easy to do the check of the car's accidentals before leaving the parking. It take less time to arrive from Italy than taking the car! Unbelievable Difficilissimo individuare la persona agli arrivi in aeroporto. 2 ore e mezzo tra code al desk per il check dell'auto che era appena uscita dal lavaggio e ci è toccato asciugarla perché non si capiva nulla. Assicurazione che avevamo fatto on line non l'hanno riconosciuta e ci sono stato richiesti ulteriori soldi al desk. Assurdo!

Wir hatten über den Mietwagen Broker bereits Vollkasko gebucht, trotzdem wollte uns der eher unfreundliche Mitarbeiter eine Versicherung mit allen Mitteln aufdrängen und uns verunsichern. Bei der Rückgabe hat alles einwandfrei funktioniert (bei einem anderen Mitarbeiter, der sehr freundlich war) und da wir alle bestehenden Vorschäden mit Foto/Video dokumentiert hatten, gab's auch keine Diskussion.

Mau atendimento. Não são esclarecedores no seu transfer do aeroporto à loja. Cuidado para não ficar esperando mais de 3 horas como aconteceu comigo. Não buscam as pessoas no local combinado no ponto de encontro do aeroporto, nós é que temos de andar no aeroproto atrás deles. Funcionários mau humorados. Pouca explicação e muito pouca paciencia se a pessoa não quiser todos os produtos que eles nos impõem para aderir. Não explicam nada para brasileiros na loja de Lisboa. Nos tratam com desprezo e ainda se ofendem se fazemos muitas perguntas. Carros limpos e novos e bom preço nos carros, que é o que atrai. Mas não se iludam, pq o atendimento em todos os sentidos é péssimo!! Lamentável!! Triste experiência!! NÃO Recomendo!!

j'ai loué une voiture pas très chere. Toutrefois a l'aeroport de Lisbonne très difficile de trouver le contact pour nous emmener au depot. Après l'avoir trouvé 1h 00 d'attente a l'aeroport avec un representant très desagreable. Sur place la voiture correspond ( un captur) etat quasi neuf avec GPS. Tour de voiture très rapide, trop rapide pour faire l'etat des lieu. ... nous rendons la voiture demain, jespers que nous naurons pas de surprise ( caution de 1800 eu !!) A suivre

Zum 5. Mal gebucht. Immer gut frequentiert. Personal freundlich. Autos immer mit Vorschäden, die aber gut dokumentiert wurden. Keine aufdringliche Fragen nach Versicherungen. Shuttle vom und zum Flughafen kann bis zu 20 Minuten Wartezeit bedeuten. Ich komme immer wieder gerne.

Sehr günstige Mietpreise, aber es dauerte ca eine Stunde bis wir nach Eintreffen am Meetingpoint am Ausgang vom Flughafen mit dem Wagen losfahren konnten, da man dort erst auf den Shuttlebus zum etwas entfernt gelegenen Wagendepot warten muss. Unser bestellter Mittelklassewagen war ziemlich neu, hatte aber einige kleine Schrammen, die wir gemeinsam mit dem Personal dokumentiert haben. Die Abgabe nach einer Woche lief auch problemlos. Würden wir wieder buchen!

Péssimo atendimento, no momento da retirada do carro eles não olham todos os detalhes, depois na entrega eles cobram riscos em rodas e lataria que já estavam , um absurdo ! É tudo combinado entre os funcionários, exploram o seu dinheiro! Veículos são entregues sujos e mal conservados! Não recomendo, alugue em outra locadora mais confiável. Essa não é confiável!

Booked with Auto Europe. These guys are friendly and super helpful. The car was amazing. I had a Citroen C3 automatic. I even asked if they were sure that was the car. They allowed me drop off the car early without an additional charge. When I told them I left my Phone holder in the car they went out of their way to get it and drove me to the airport. I couldn't have asked for an easier process. Por favor continua o bom serviço e obrigado.

However we covered our a*s- there was no discussion available afterwards when handing in the car; even the manager of the rental car company was playing the game and told us we just needed to pay. Without our consent- they just took our 300EUR from our credit card which you need to hand in for authorization when picking up the car. They even tried to get 600EUR instead via their miserable trick (needed to pay 300EUR cash bc they told me the credit card is for authorization only..) Don't doubt but just choose another car rental company instead of these criminals.

Es war alles sehr gut. Ablauf war reibungslos und zügig. Keine Probleme. Wir hatten einen Wagen der Kompaktklasse, einen Seat Leon 1.6. Es war ein neuer Wagen und war für uns perfekt. Bon... pour commencer, nous sommes arrivés à l'aéroport et nous avons dû attendre une personne de l'agence 1h00, sachant que leur dépôt se trouve à 7 minutes. 1h00 d'attente plus tard, une personne arrive et s'excuse car il a eu un accident avec la camionnette. (Ça peut arriver ce n'est pas grave.) Arrivé enfin à l'agence, nous attendons encore 30-35 minutes pour que quelqu'un puisse nous recevoir. Au moment de faire les papiers, on nous demande de payer encore 90€ alors que sur le site, il était très bien signalé que la voiture coûtait 94€ avec l'assurance et que nous n'avions plus rien à payer sur place car tout avait été réglé directement en ligne. Nous devions avoir une Volkswagen et nous avons terminé avec une Peugeot 308 qui possède énormément de rayures et qui et très longue comparé à celle que l'on souhaitait. Je ne peux alors malheureusement pas mettre plus de 2 étoiles malgré la gentillesse de la personne qui nous a servi et amener jusqu'à l'agence.

Billiger Mietwagenanbieter, ca 10 Autominuten vom Flughafen Lissabon entfernt. Treffpunkt ist eine Sitzbank neben dem Vodafone Store im Flughafen. Man wird mit einem Shuttlebus, welcher auch Kindersitze hat, zum Vermieter verbracht. Wartezeit hierfür waren 5 min. Bei der Übernahme des Kfz wird man gefragt, ob man eine Zusatzversicherung abschließen möchte, das muss jeder nach seinem gebuchten Paket selbst entscheiden, ich habe diese nicht gebraucht. Es empfiehlt sich mit dem Handy einen Kurzfilm vom Kfz zu machen und die Kratzer und Dellen zu dokumentieren. Mein SUV war vollständig zerkratzt und hatte leichte Dellen, dies wurde auch ordnungsgemäß durch einen Mitarbeiter protokolliert, und ich habe einen schlecht lesbaren Durchschlag erhalten. (Daher Video) Die meisten Autobahnabschnitte in Portugal sind Mautpflichtig, dazu kann man die unmarkierten Fahrbahnen nutzen und an den dortigen Schranken bar oder mit Karte bezahlen, oder man leiht sich für ca 12 Euro einen ViaVerdeTransponder, der für das Mautsystem die anfallenden kosten verbucht. Dazu fährt man einfach mit 60 km/h durch die grünen Fahrbahnen (manchmal mit einem V markiert) und dann wird der jeweilige Betrag auf einer Tafel angezeigt und automatisch verbucht. Das ist nur sinnvoll, wenn man tatsächlich regelmäßig weitere Mautstrecken nutzen will z.B. Richtung Algarve. Zahlen kann man die angefallenen Kosten bei der Abgabe des Kfz. Die Rücknahme hat ca 10 Minuten beansprucht. Mit dem Protokoll wurde das Kfz übernommen, ohne nach weiteren Kratzern zu suchen. Anschließend Mautabrechnung und Rückbuchung des Sicherheitsbetrages der Kreditkarte und fertig. Nur 5 min später war das Shuttle da und wir wurden zum Haupteingang des Flughafens gebracht. Fazit: sehr günstiger Anbieter 10 Euro pro Tag für Mittelklasse SUV, Kfz nicht immer tadellos aber voll funktionstüchtig, Angestellte abgeklärt aber freundlich, würde ich wieder machen!

Great service, a well oiled machine. I recommend getting insurance with them on the day you pick up your car. I payed €24 (for a week) which covered any scratched etc. Car pick up point is away from the airport but transport is provided and only 5 minutes round the corner. Hassle free and easy, would use again.

Os funcionários são excelentes, muito educados, mas aluguei um clio com GPS na condição tanque cheio/cheio e na verdade, me deram um Focus com tanque vazio que fiquei com medo de não chegar ao posto. Claro que quando eu devolver o veículo, vou entregar com combustível, pois não dá pra ficar fazendo conta e correr o risco de ficar sem gasolina. Eles não reembolsam!!! Reclamei, mas não puderam fazer nada. Me senti péssimo e lesado. Não recomendo.

Rude and impolite service. Stay away from it. We have booked a car with the fuel policy "Full to Full". But received the one with completely Empty tank, we were not even sure that we will get to the closest gas station. We have asked the manager of Drive On Holidays if it's possible to change, because we have specifically booked Full to Full policy, as it's way more convenient to return a car with such policy. The manager quite rudely told that it's not her problem and she doesn't care what is mentioned in our reservation, they do not have this policy and if we have a problem we should contact rentalcars support and not waste their time. We were quite shocked with this service and unfortunately miscalculated and returned a car with a half tank.

J’ai vécu une mauvaise expérience. Première chose : longue attente. Deuxième chose : ils disent accepté les cartes bancaires « visa », ce jour là ils avaient un problème avec les visa du coup elle m’a dit qu’on allait essayé mais que si cela ne fonctionnerait pas que ça serait pas de leurs faute et du coup il fallait déboursé plus de 200€ pour le rachat de franchise ou bien je partirais sans de véhicule. Super. Troisième chose : j’avais payé pour une bmw au lieu de ça on me sous-classe en Peugeot 308. Dernière chose : état du véhicule no comment. Pare choc av et ar bien abîmé, pneu usé, essence à moite plein, pas top pour le client. Vraiment choqué. Première et dernière fois.

Quick service and low price if possible I would encourage you to book ahead. They try to upsell the insurance package and if not they do put a 1100 euro hold on your card. You need your driver's license and passport and a credit card bearing your name to rent a car. I would encourage you to take pictures of the car with the agent who takes you to the car or video just as a back up and also make sure you point out any specific you find on it to the agent so it is documented on the paper

Très satisfaite ! Rapport qualité prix parfait... En plus d'un véhicule neuf, j'ai été surclassée ! Bien lire les conditions avant pour ne pas avoir de surprise ! Il est normal que l'on vous propose des assurances supplémentaires, options etc... Et n'oublions pas que c'est du low cost àvec tout ce que ça implique ! Heures de pointe : pas de personnel sup, agence pas dans l'aéroport mais à l'extérieur avec navette... Moindre raillure, si pas d'assurance sup elle vous sera facturée... Comme tous les loueurs ici !

On arrival to actually picking up car took 2.5 hours approximately. Waiting to get served then having to listen to the guy try sell you everything to do with car packages even though I told him no, no no. Eventually got to pick it up but had to go back to airport to pick up family as they were not permitted to go to hire place with me. Would i use again, NO.

až na zavřený stánek a dle popisu v emailu absenci mladíka ktery prisel s cedulí společnost Drive On Hilidays az po 15 minutách a seděl s mobilem a cedulí otočenou k sobě... Až kdyz jsme přišli popáté a na místo s ochotným policistou ji otočil . Navrácení vše naprosto korektní. Auto v pořádku zánovní dle objednávky. Při docela dlouhé době čekání na odvoz zpět na letiště při návratu jsme ale bohužel byli svědky kde při předání vozidla podlaha v hale není rovná a viděli jsme jak při přebírání okamžitě starší lidé kteří odbrzdía než se rizjedou nebourají do aut za sebou vzadu. Na první pohled vtipné, ale bohužel nevím jak půjčovna toto řeší. Myslím že prostředí tak řešené není vhodné pro předávání aut kde lidé auta dokonale neznají, kde zabírá spojka a zřejmě se tyto defekty stávají častěji. Bohužel už jsem neviděl jak půjčovna toto řeší když se auto opřu o sebou nárazník. Viděl jsem ale i když jsem si připlatil řádově 140 € za extra připojištění jak důkladně se obcházel auto předtím než jsem do něho nasedl.

Avec tout ce que j'ai lu, j'avoue j'avais un peu (très peur) j'ai pris un véhicule hier, et : très peu d'attente à l'aéroport (point de rendez-vous simple, jeune homme sympathique) arrivée au bureau pareil : pas d'attente accueil très bien, explications du contrat claires. Puis je suis revenue à l'agence car j'avais des doutes sur l'état que j'avais déjà signé, sur la voiture : ils ont pris le temps, ont été patients... J'ai actuellement une très bonne expérience avec cette agence, on verra quand je rendrai le véhicule...

I cannot recommend ‘Drive on Holidays’ at all. Very bad shuttle service, unacceptable long waiting time (over 3 hours), unfriendly and intrusive personal, car in a bad condition, additional fees ( e.g. strange opening hours), … While reading some of the unpleasant reviews, I thought that it cannot be that bad, but unfortunately their service is the worst I ever witnesses.

Incredibile che nel 2019 esistano ancora compagnie di questo tipo che si attaccano a sotterfugi per spillare i soldi. Pagato 134 euro sul sito Ryanair, sono stato poi caldamente incoraggiato al momento del noleggio a fare assicurazioni per altre 180 euro pena quasi sicuro prelievo della caparra. Poi altre 25 euro x il telepass obbligatorio. Alla fine altre 50 euro x la pulizia xche c'era sabbia in macchina (prima volta che mi succede) . Alla fine di costi accessori, nascosti e inevitabili abbiamo speso più del doppio di quanto pubblicizzato e pagato x la prenotazione che avrebbe dovuto comprendere tutto. Io eviterò per sempre questa compagnia.

Wenn man weiß, dass man am Airport nur zum Shuttle anstehen muss und keinen pers. Transfer erwartet, dann wird es gut. Dann in Mietstation auch etwas Warten wg. evtl. vielen Mietern, sonst okay, fair. Versichungsangebote muss man selbst bedenken, wird wie überall versucht dazuzuverkaufen. Auto sauber, Tankregel voll-voll okay, Rückgabe ohne Komplikationen und Rücktransfer zum Airport zügig. Habe keine Abzockversuche bemerkt, nicht einmal ansatzweise. Alles gut. Nur wegen langer Warterei am Airport vor Mietbeginn ein Stern weniger.

Não aluguem veículo neste estabelecimento são MENTIROSOS e DESONESTOS. Aluguei uma viatura dia 23/08 o atendente Tiago Trindade me disse que poderia devolvê-la entre 22 e 23h quando fui devolver tive que pagar uma “taxa” de 30€ por estar fora do horário de atendimento. E ninguém se responsabiliza pela fala do funcionário. Já mandei vários e-mails e as respostas são automáticas, fingem que não houve nada.

Si bien la atención y el auto fueron buenos, cuando vas a retirar te persiguen para que agregues un seguro de cómo 180 euros. Quizás terminas aceptando por miedo a que luego te vuelvan loco por rayitas en el auto. También te cobran aparte el aparato para los peajes. Básicamente "lo barato sale caro". Por otro lado no es cómodo desde el aeropuerto porque sus oficinas están lejos y te tienen que ir a buscar / llevar.

Reservation for pick up time was 12pm. We were waiting And told to wait in line, which we had formed but somehow were sent to the end. The representative told us to wait 20 minutes for the next pick up shuttle , around 12:20. My friend went to the bathroom and returned within five minute. During that time the representative said we were going to have to wait for the next one (again) and he’s letting others with a later reservation go before us. My friend showed up at that time, and he refused to let us board the shuttle. He told us to wait where we were standing and in five minutes the shuttle would arrive. Another 15 minutes later, a shuttle arrived, we got on. Another representation opened the door and tried to kick us off, stating we were not on the line. It was humiliating and the most unprofessional behavior I have seen.

Caution! Absolutely not recomendable. Long waiting times for airport shuttle and car pick up. Minimum 2 hours. They try to sell aggressively extra insurances which are already covered by the contract and claim that you do not have any clue what is included and not. Received the car dirty inside (pictures) with no full tank. You should take pictures of "all" dents and scratches when getting the car to be sure at the point of return. Never again with these guys.

Do not use this rental company. They rip off tourists with extra insurance payments on arrival after I had already purchased extra insurance. I paid a great deal of money to get an upgraded Mercedes car and it was completely dented all over they didnt even have a full tank of gas. they also argued with me about the gas when I got back!!!

Avoid this place if you can. I’m not sure whether we got a great deal and the car was fine but the end-to-end experience was awful and took 3 hours out of our vacation. The shuttle service from the airport was chaotic and erratic. We had to wait in line 30 minutes while an airport dispatcher finished his banana and lunch break. Our party of 4 was separated into 2 shuttles and we arrived at what looked like a 3rd world nation of chaos. The line dragged endlessly and paperwork took forever. At the last minute, we were given a weird insurance option of an immediate 96 Euro charge for insurance or their putting a hold of 2,100 Euro hold on our credit card for the week - and they don’t take Amex. None of this was made clear on the advance prepayment paperwork. The car return wasn’t much better with chaos, frayed nerves of the workers and rude staff. I’d opt for a larger well-known outfit next time. I don’t think any savings was worth losing that time and stressing ourselves out.

30 Minuten Wartezeit bis Shuttle-Transfer zur Autovermietung stattgefunden hat. Vor Ort dann insgesamt noch einmal 3,5 Stunden Wartezeit bis Auto übergeben wurde. Erst nach erneutem Ansprechen der Mitarbeiter wurde das Auto übergeben. Sehr schlechtes System/ schlechte Organisation der Ausgabe der Mietwagen. Halle viel zu klein für den großen Andrang. Ständiges Umparken der Autos war notwendig, dadurch extrem viel Zeitverlust. Mit dem Mietwagen selber keine Probleme. Aufgrund des Verlusts eines halben Urlaubstages aber trotzdem nur 1 Stern.

Unbelievable incompetent and bar service. Regret not having paid more and using the mainstream companies who are ACTUALLY located in the airport. This agency doesn't work afterhours, meaning if your arrive late, it need to come the next day. The guy welcomeThe shuttle to and from the airport comes every 30-40 minutes and can only take 8 people, forcing clients to take a taxi (which takes give minutes), many of whom get ripped off by the taxi drivers paying 15-20€ when it should cost 6€ at most. On the whole, to get the keys it took us 2h.

It was easy to find the person organizing the shuttle at the airport. Wait time for the shuttle was short. There was a one hour wait to do the paperwork and got the car all in all within 1.5 hrs from the time we got on the shuttle. The only unexpected thing was that I reserved two cars with one credit card but I was not allowed to use it for the deposit in case of an accident. I was told only the designated driver in each vehicle can do that. So each driver will need a credit card with an available credit limit of 1500 euros. We ended up paying the cdw which my creditcard would have covered

Pour pouvoir publier une avis sur google, il faut au moins mettre une étoile mais ils n'en méritent aucune. C'est une catastrophe à tous point de vue. Temps d'attente à l'aéroport 45 minutes, temps d'attente au guichet 1h10, temps d'attente du véhicule 35 minutes. Et en plus, ils n'ont pas honte, ils tentent de vous survendre des assurances? Du bon et du mauvais. Nous avons loués 2 voitures pour 2 semaines, en réservant par Internet. Le bon: les autos étaient là comme convenu, presque neuves. Le prix est vraiment intéressant. Pas de mauvaises surprises. MAIS: L'emplacement est loin de l'aéroport, il faut trouver le représentant dans le terminal (bonne chance!), puis prendre une navette jusqu'au "bureau" qui est surtout un hangars, puis attendre... En tout , 2 heures 30 depuis le moment ou nous sommes arrivés à l'aéroport et notre départ en voiture. Le personnel est peu aimable et insiste lourdement pour nous vendre des assurances supplémentaires (inutiles la plupart du temps car c'est couvert par la majorité des cartes de crédit). Heureusement le retour se passe bien et beaucoup plus rapidement.

Choas at the airport! Chaos at the depot! We were given a new car, the 2nd people to rent the vehicle. The trunk didn't close, so we were not able to lock the car for the duration of our 3 week rental (the previous renter had told us in person he reported the problem - but we were given the car anyway) my heavily pregnant wife, our 2 year old son waited for more than 3hours to get our rental sorted (noon: first provided the wrong address for the pick-up and then 12:30 waiting for the shuttle at the airport, then 13:30 at the office, then 14:30 at the depot and then 15:20 for the child seat!) Returning the vehicle was simpler, but we decided to cut our rental short and deliver the car back at 8am to avoid the midday chaos... We did receive our full 1,100€ deposit back though... Renter and time poor people beware!!

UWAGA TO SĄ NACIĄGACZE !!!!. Samochód wynajęty w Lizbonie. Nie mają stanowiska i wożą ludzi jedynym autobusem do swojego zatłoczonego biura. Czekaliśmy na autobus potem na wynajem prawie 2 godziny. Zastaliśmy tłum i brak organizacji. Wynająłem samochód dopłacając za pełne ubezpieczenie. Po 6 dniach od zwrotu pobrali z mojej karty kredytowej bez mojej zgody 24 EUR. Nikt nawet nie próbował poinformować mnie o przyczynie pobrania kwoty. Samochód podczas zwrotu był skontrolowany i zatankowany do pełna. Dostałem też rachunek. Jako dowód w załączeniu. NACIĄGACZE!!!!

Sehr schlechter Shuttle Service (viel zu wenig Platz für so viele Menschen), extrem lange Wartezeiten, gebuchtes Auto war nicht da, Schrammen die schon vor dem ausleihen an dem Auto waren wurden uns berechnet. Auf gar keinen Fall zu empfehlen, schlechter Service, unfreundliches Personal und allgemein totale abzocke! Ich rate jedem ab hier ein Auto zu mieten!

TOURISTS BEWARE AT LISBON AIPORT CAR RENTALS Re: Excessive Security Deposit It’s apparently normal to rent a car in Portugal airport with a 1,000-3,000€ deposit, which if you charge in $ / £ or other currency, your bank will hit you with 2.5% fees on each leg of the deposit’s cash movement. This will inevitably raise your rental cost by 50 - 150€. DRIVE ON HOLIDAYS offers to waive the deposit at a permanent cost of 15% of the total deposit. Re: Obfuscating Insurance Policies: It’s intentionally impossible to understand the insurance policies on the cars, and they rely on your ignorance, and attempt to up-sell you using various tactics (ie “look at all the people getting a car, what’s your problem?”). Re: Frivolous Damage Claims: Furthermore, several angry customers in the office (not to mention Google reviews) regarding frivolous damage claims was the nail in the coffin. Given the huge deposit risk, we walked out without giving them any money, and will report the case to the tourism bureau.

Das Auto war ein Peugeot 207 (Reserviert war ein Polo). Es war ein bisschen dreckig aber lief einwandfrei. Das Personal war ebenfalls nett und die Rückgabe war schnell. Leider mussten wir bei der Abholung 1,5 Stunden auf das Auto warten, weil die Schlange viel zu lang war und zu wenig Personal vorhanden war. Außerdem ist der Shuttle nicht leicht zu finden und zu knapp für die ganzen Kunden... deswegen nur 3 Sterne.

Expérience éprouvante ! Environ 40 mn d'attente pour la navette, puis plus d'1 h au comptoir et encore près de 45 mn pour avoir la voiture, dont le réservoir est vide, contrairement à ce qui est indiqué sur le contrat. Notre vol de retour étant de bonne heure le matin, nous apprenons que nous devons ramener la voiture la veille car le comptoir sera fermé. Rendant donc la voiture le dimanche, on nous oblige malgré tout à payer jusqu'au lundi inclus (location + assurance) sous prétexte qu'on ne peut pas changer la réservation faite sur internet .... Certes, les prix sont attractifs mais la différence par rapport à d'autres loueurs ne compense pas la qualité de service déplorable . A EVITER ABSOLUMENT !!!

Unprofessional. Outside of airport. You get there by a free shuttle, thats ok. Their place is tiny and filled with cars in a way it takes forever to find your rental car and to get it out because its literally parked on from every side, multiple rows. Everything takes a long time. Took us approx 90-100 minutes till we could drive our rental car. They try to sell you insurances that they know you already purchased by a third party. And telling lies that not everything will be covered. I had to point out that the deposit is not 1900 Euro but only 300 Euro. Just all in all very stressed employees, understaffed in my opinion and as a result unprofessional. They make you sign contracts without ever seeing the car, they sell insurances and explain them verbally, then they make you pay for them and then after paying they show you the contract and the actual insurance you had just paid for is really not what he was verbally explaining. Yes they are cheap, the car was more or less ok, loads of scratches but it did its job. Still, next time Id use a different rental company. Considering the big time loss (3h+), their unreliability plus the lacking service is not worth the money that you save and on top you might be buying an insurance that you dont even need.

Le comptoire d'accueil n'est pas a l'aéroport, et il faut trouver au terminal des arrivées une personne de la société (bon courage il n'y pas de signe distinctif). Une navette vous emmène ensuite au garage du loueur (après 30min d'attente). Sur place c'est le chaos et il nous aura fallu faire 1h30 de queue pour obtenir le véhicule. Le retour du véhicule s'est bien passé et s'est fait rapidement (15min).

As avaliações boas aqui parecem fabricadas. Uma pessoa chega pra levantar o carro e espera muito tempo (para além da hora de levantamento) e não é recompensada, mas no dia da devolução cobram-nos mais um dia e não nos deixam ficar com o carro, e mais; atendimento horrível por parte de um dos funcionários principalmente.

Арендовал авто эконом-класса на неделю, чтобы доехать до Альгарве, заехать на один день в Севилью и вернуться обратно в Лиссабон. Общая сумма аренды в итоге составила около 300 евро с учетом опции на въезд в Испанию. Внутри этой суммы - полное страховое покрытие и транспондер для платных дорог (незаменимая вещь для Португалии). Предоплата при бронировании через интернет составила около 30%. Несмотря на заранее заявленный мною full-cover insurance, человек на стойке при оформлении авто выжал из меня еще 36 евро на некий "ущерб от вандализма третьих лиц" (за это - минус одна звезда). При этом его английский был настолько плох, что легче было ему заплатить, чем что-то объяснить. Машиной в целом остался доволен: годовалый Seat Ibiza с пробегом около 30 000 км, чистый и удобный.Двигатель, конечно, совсем слабый (где-то 1,1 или даже меньше), но для езды по трассе со скоростью около 130 км/ч вполне хватало. Блокировка гарантийного депозита на кредитной карте обязательна, деньги (в моем случае 1100 евро) были разблокированы через две недели после возврата машины. При возврате никаких претензий и вопросов не было. Сразу взяли дополнительный платеж за платные дороги (27,65 евро), в а через неделю дополнительно списали еще 14 евро (видимо, пришла информация по моей обратной поездке из Альгарве в Лиссабон непосредственно в день сдачи машины). В целом нормальный вариант, хотя и не очень дешевый, если сравнивать с автопрокатом на тех же Канарских островах. Можно рекомендовать при проявлении должной осмотрительности на всех этапах взаимодействия с прокатчиком.

Our holiday started with horrible experience In Drive on holidays company. After 1 hour waiting on line, unfriendly guy threatened us either to get their insurance (€110 for 5days) or they block €1900 on our credit card even though we reserved a car with insurance. But he said this insurance was not with their company so we had to pay €1900 if something happens. So we ended with 2 insurances covered... They also charged us extra for auto-scan machine which was in the car but we didn’t even use. We arrived 10:30 at the Lisbon airport and we got a car 13:00! Our holiday started with this horrible experience and we’ll never get a car from them and we recommend nobody, you’ll get totally disappointed with their poor hospitality services!!

Totalnie NIE POLECAM. Wynajęcie samochodu zajęło nam ponad 3 godziny. Chaos wręcz niewiarygodny. Brudno. Najpierw ok 30 min. Czekalismy w umówionym miejscy, by ktoś "odebral" nas na lotnisku. Następnie kolejne 30 min. Czekaliśmy na busa, by przywiózł nas do siedziby firmy. Tam ponad godzinę czekaliśmy w kolejce do wypożyczenia auta, następnie kolejną godzinę, by ktoś to auto wydał... a wszystko było wybrane, zarezerwowane, opłacone przed wylotem z kraju... szok...

Its a low budget car hire. What can you expect? We needed to wait for the car over 1.5 hours. The staff was nice and informative at the desk. But it seems like the third party providers and drive on holidaya does not have the same agreements as you get with the provider! In the end (after a long wait) we got a nice Renault. Next time i think i pay the extra 20-50€ to skip the wait

Op de luchthaven chaos, onoverzichtelijk en lang wachten en geen volgorde voor de shuttlebus. Daarna staan we nu al meer dan een uur te wachten en zo te zien komen er nog meerdere uren bij voor we Uberhaupt een auto hebben, want de rij schiet niks op!! Nog nooit zoiets meegemaakt!! Dus als je dit leest..zoek een ander verhuurbedrijf!!! Het bovenstaande klopt allemaal...maar ik moet drive on holidays ook een groot compliment maken. We kregen nl een ongeluk. Auto totaal in puin, gelukkig niemand gewond. Alles werd heel goed geregeld en super snel!! We werden door een taxi opgehaald van de snelweg. Nieuwe auto alles perfect!!

Più di due ore di attesa per il ritiro della macchina, ci hanno obbligate ad aggiungere ub’assicurazione aggiuntiva nonostante l’avessimo già pagata tramite il sito di noleggio (rental car). We waited 2 and a half hours before being given our car. This place is very disorganized and once you have paid for the car you are told to wait in the garage until someone calls your name... it took 2 hours to queue and pay for the car and half an hour wait until it was received. The car was good although was only provided with 3/4 of a tank. Would not return again.

Slechtste autoverhuur ever. 3,5 uur wachten, geen vriendelijkheid en geen zitplekken of een drankje. Met tientallen anderen staan wachten in de garage tussen auto's die hen en weer gemanoeuvreerd worden. Geen service, geen informatie. Krijgt auto met kenteken toegewezen,maar die is (nog lang niet) binnen. Niemand weet wanneer die komt, en iedereen is 'maar een chauffeur' of 'maar een medewerker'. Jammer van de dag. Hopelijk gaat t bij t inleveren beter.

If you return the car outside their working hours (e.g. before 8am), you have to pay a 30€ fee. This is apparently hidden somewhere on your agreement so I guess you have to pay for it and there is no arguing. It took us a long time to get the car upon arrival (approx. 2 hours), which is something I never experienced when renting a car... We were just standing there. Staff seemed really stressed out, the car was fine at the end.

Voulant à tout prix me vendre son assurance le vendeur est devenu lourd, grossier et carrément méprisant. Et je ne parle même pas des deux heures d’attente pour avoir la voiture !!

The car was new and we enjoyed it a lot, BUT: we had troubles finding the shuttle guy at the airport, once we did, we had to wait for about 1 hour at the line in order to check in and get the car. Very annoying! Beside it, the check out procedure took 1 minute (have you ever thought about adding more check in desks???)

I am going to write a fair review and add some tips. We rented a class A car. My biggest concern was that we would have to owe them a lot of money for a possible scratch or a crack in the window that we did not do. The class A was a Wolksvagen up or similar. We we got a decent Fiat 500 that was a bit dirty inside. Minor spots and dust. Not a problem. - Call Your home insurance. They sometimes cover Drive on Holidays deposit / maximum amount you have to pay if you cause a damage. So call your insurance. Note that they can charge you more than the deposit in certain cases. - Download Google translate and use the camera translator for when you get the car and have to sign a contract. It's all in Portuguese and we got rushed into signing it ( hence why they get 4 stars only).. the app is great when reading parking signs too. - Takes photos of every single scratch and dirt spot. - Start the engine and check for any warning signs. Around the speed panel. - When YOU feel safe. Sign the contract. - when getting the car, we had to wait around 2.5 in queue. Get some water and get ready for a possible long waiting time. We took a full insurance on top of our home insurance to get a peace of mind, but I recommend to read their guide lines. It's about 3 pages and can save you a lot of hassle. When we returned the car we paid 13 Euro for tolls. No extra charges.

Total chaos. Be prepared to wait for 1 hour on the airport (no office, shuttle to industrial area). Then wait for another hour to check in and then 0,5-1 hour before you get the car. They also try to charge you extra stuff. When you return the car you have to wait for a shuttle again with several people and 1!!!! Shuttle... no numbers just fight for your right

Tornato Ieri da Lisbona. Pessimo servizio. In aeroporto non si riusciva a trovare la persona del parcheggio. Tutti con una maglietta o cartello, loro no... solo una maglietta nera. Una volta trovata la ragazza, attesa di 20 minuti che ti portassero al punto noleggio. Fila lunghissima. Arrivati al nostro turno, la tipa al desk, che parlava italiano mi propone ovviamente una assicurazione. Gli mostro quella che avevo fatto via internet mi dice che copriva poco, ma che se volevo lei faceva una mail per disdire la mia e farne una nuova. Morale della favola ho pagato due assicurazioni. Al rientro stessa trafila. Per me esperienza negativa...c'è molto di meglio

Do not go here. Contact on airport nowhere. Not answering phone. They will try to get you to pay extra insurance. Extra this, extra that, they keep trying to scare you. Very unfriendly. Empty gas tank. Long wait. No safe child seats. They will block 1000-1500 on your creditcard.

I’ve been renting cars for many years and this was by far the worst experience I ever had. Our first day of vacation was nothing but unpleasant. We were ignored at the airport for 2 hours after we met the representative, he lied that the van was on it’s way to pick us up and then he just disappeared when we impatiently asked how much longer would it take. We decided to take a taxi to their office and the welcoming was worse than anyone can imagine... dozens of people waiting to be helped at the reception area and dozens waiting for their cars outside... people and luggage everywhere, where the cars kept coming in and out... we were traveling with 2 toddlers who were hungry and tired offering there, I took one for a walk around the block and as I was walking in front of the entrance we almost got ran over by a reckless employee that was exiting the garage at high speed and with no regards for anyone else... . finally 4 hours later our car was ready for us... I had previously order 2 child car seats for which I paid $200 - and I was offered a broken one, when I refused to accept that one I had to wait until the employee came back with more seats... (another 1/2 hour went by!) The other cars seats were disgustingly dirty and old. They were wiggling even after been attached. I ended up buying a new car seat. I feel disrespected by these people who were too quick to take my money and not honored me what I paid for in return. Please stay away. Use your money with someone that cares about their clients and appreciates your business... for me, never again! And I don’t only Not recommend but also advise against them.

Vollkommen überforderte und dann auch unhöfliche Mitarbeiter, die Autos sind in einem zum Teil sehr schlechten Zustand. Wir erhielten schließlich nach zwei Stunden Warten ein neueres Modell, aber ohne das bestellte Navi. Nachdem wir das moniert hatten, wurde uns ein uraltes dreckiges Auto mit Navi angeboten. Das war die schlechteste Erfahrung bzgl. Autovermietung

DES ARNAQUEURS DE PREMIÈRES ! Un conseille, si vous ne voulez pas gâcher vos vacances, prenez un autre loueur! Le personnel est d’une arrogance hors du commun, qui n’hésitent pas à vous dire que vous êtes con si vous prenez pas leur assurance, et qui vous oblige presque à la prendre! Qui veut vous faire payer le conducteur supplémentaire alors que dans le contrat il est bien spécifié que le conducteur additionnelle est gratuit, et il ose dire qu’il nous fait une faveur! Qui vous oblige à prendre le « telepeage » à 13e la semaine en disant que c’est obligatoire, alors que ça ne l’ai pas! Il prélève la caution de 1100e qui est débité de votre compte! Et bien entendu, plus de deux heures pour récupérer la voiture... JE NE COMPREND PAS COMMENT DES LOUERS COMME EUX PEUVENT EXERCER EN TOUTE IMPUNITÉ LEUR MÉTIER!!!!!

Per le nostre vacanze in Portogallo abbiamo noleggiato un'auto presso questa azienda. Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Auto nuove e pulite. Ogni volta che vengono riconsegnate, vanno direttamente al lavaggio. Le pratiche vengono sbrigate con rapidità ed una navetta effettua il trasporto da e per l'aeroporto. Anche i costi sono stati, per 7 giorni di noleggio, veramente contenuti. Lo consiglio.

Esperienza negativa: 1) personale scortese e cattiva organizzazione nella gestione. 2)macchina che doveva essere nuova garantita era invece piena di graffi, sporca e con il pianale cofano posteriore rotto. 3) politica carburante errata che anziché essere pieno/pieno ci è stata consegnata in riserva. 4) imposizione di un ulteriore assicurazione. 5)al momento della consegna hanno riferito che non avrebbero rispettato gli accordi con la Ryanair.

The free shuttle from the airport basically doesn’t exist. The number of people which use their service is disproportionate to the number of shuttles per hour. You can feel unprofessionalism in the air. Really - don’t waste your time and money on this and use the traditional companies available at the airport!

I'd avoid if you can help it - 2 star only because car was brand new. The pickup arrangements at the airport are entirely unexplained and messy. You are then shuttled to this off airport site which is chaotic. The checkin took forever (35 minutes incl line) and the subsequent stand and wait in the heat for 40 minutes was ridiculous. Just got off a 12 hour flight so had to sit down and got berated for missing my name call, when in fact the staff member just hadn't checked the paperwork and was handing my car off to someone else. Got given an absurd car compared to what I booked- a ridiculously large and complicated Renault, pretty much an SUV, when all I needed was a VW golf - with zero instruction. Also zero car guides to figure out what all the flashing lights meant - that permanent exclamation mark can'thave been that inportant - despite being literally brand new. Car was handed over at the exit, holding everyone up so no time at all to go over the vehicle and familiarise. They have an empty-to-empty fuel policy that's not explained at all so you're not sure at what level to return it to - the top of empty of bottom? The difference proved to be 10 euro down the drain. You're also immediately looking for gas in a foreign industrial precinct rather than going on your way, but the staff seem to think that makes sense. Car itself lacked basic features like rear view camera, which you need in Europe. Return was faster but any complaints or suggestions are just brushed aside. Overall, chaotic, stressful, time consuming.

After an hour of waiting, they demanded a 1100€ deposit and gave me a different car from what I ordered. Bonus points for a larger car tho.

Wszystko super, bez najmniejszych problemów. Obsługa godna polecenia. Odbiór i zwrot samochodu przebiegł sprawnie. Samochód dostalismy nowy. Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni z tej wypożyczalni i polecamy!

La atención en el mostrador fue fatal, la chica un poco borde y mal educada!! Apenas llegamos! Lo único bien el chico que entregaba el auto se nota que hace un esfuerzo enorme para resolver todo aunque no puede. Pero entre la desorganización y el maltrato de la recepcionista NO lo recomiendo. Ah, además el coche que nos entregaron consumia una locura de gasolina, estaba mal!

Bei der Annahme äußerst unfreundlich! Wollten unbedingt Zusatzversicherungen gegen Vandalismus verkaufen, obwohl alles gedeckelt war. Der Wagen - ein Mercedes Vito - war recht betagt und rundum zerkratzt und verbeult. Störte uns nicht sehr, außer dass wir bei der Annahme jeden Kratzer aufzeichnen mussten, damit nachher festgestellt werden könnte was hinzu gekommen ist? Abgabe war dann wesentlich besser, aber empfehlen kann ich den Vermieter nicht. Am Ende selbst Schuld, wenn man billig mietet, sollte man keine zu hohen Erwartungen haben.

1- Far away from airport. Need a shutle; 2 - Nissan Qashqai with fuel level empty; 3 - GPS not available as Nissan SD was unavailable; 4 - Car in good conditions, but with dozen of little damaged spots. 5 - Perhaps cheaper, than other well known rent-a-car companies, but in the end of the day, I have my doubts. Mainly empty fuel tank... Never seen.

It was about 5-8 mins drove from the Lisbon airport and they don't have a counter for you to go to. There is usually a person standing with a small board just outside the airport or by the vodaphone store on the right side when you exit the arrival. Friendly and fast. Free shuttles back and forth from the airport to their office.

Take care they are thief. By far the worst company I have ever had to deal with. I had and full coverage insurance but they tell me MT insurance dont chover nothimg, and selo me another insurance to be safe. When return the car they try i pay 350€ for a damage i dont do. We are trying solve but they are the worst company in Portugal.

I have made a reservation and paid for a car rent. I paid over 100eur. I had all the required documents. I had visa card on my name. Upon reservation on the internet I paid 100 eur. In the end they did not rent me a car because I had debit card and not credit card. You see - they can take 100eur from debit card, but then they cant take a deposit from it for some reason. And do they return the 100eur? No. They return only cca half of it. I call them thiefs.

No problems at all other than them trying to say there was damage when there wasnt -quickly resolved thou and a bit of a wait when we arrived.
