This place located quite uphill and no elevator to your room, so if you brings a large luggage, you can keep it inside the owner office. The owner is very friendly though she can't speak english fluently.

Staff at reception dont speak English - so its hard to communicate with them. The room was quite dark and dingy, the shower was broken, so they fixed it with tape. It wasnt super cheap and conditions arent great

So close to Sao Bento Train station. Walking distance to most sights. Just over the hill to the main bridge and the river to the wine caves. Clean but basic accommodation. Lovely people.

Situé proche de la gare de Porto mais dans une rue très bruyante surtout la nuit (boîte de nuit). Propriétaire très sympathique, chambre très propre et bonne literie.

Bueno: Buena situación, buena atención, buena limpieza e instalaciones renovadas.
Malo: no tiene ascensor, aunque las habitaciones altas muy buenas vistas, torre clerigos, Sao Bento, etc.

Perfect location for exploring Porto and Vila Nova da Gaia on foot.My first impression was not great as the place looks like nothing from the outside and the area felt a little shady.But the owner was lovely and the room clean and nice with a lovely firm mattressed bed. It is simple and no frills, but suited me great as I was so busy exploring I literally only slept there. It was also quiet and good blinds for a good sleep. There are stairs to get up though and no lift. I would definitely stay again.

Es un alojamiento económico en el centro de la ciudad, cerca de todas partes. Necesitaría una reforma y también mejorar un poco la limpieza. El aparcamiento que ofrecen se paga aparte y es en un garaje que actualmente está en obras. La habitación es ruidosa por la noche. La dueña es muy amable y atenta.

El hotel está bastante envejecido, las habitaciones están limpias pero algunas partes necesitan una reforma, como el baño. Lo mejor es la actitud de la señora de la recepción.

La habitación es correcta salvo por la calor, el canto contínuo de las gaviotas por la noche y la movida en la calle.
En booking anuncian que tiene parquing incluido y no es así, 12 euros de mas y no aseguran plaza.

Habitaciones básicas y más bien anticuadas aunque limpias y, en nuestro caso, con buenas vistas. El baño sigue la misma línea pero es un sitio ideal para viajeros que no pasan mucho tiempo en el hotel.
Está muy bien situado, cerca de metro y a cuatro pasos del centro de la ciudad.
La mujer/propietaria es muy amable y nos guardó las maletas después del check-out para no pasearlas por la ciudad antes de ir al aeropuerto.

Mi amigo David Valcarcel tiene una reserva del 14 al 17 de Mayo desde Booking y no puede ir por el COVID19 y desde el establecimiento no le quieren cancelar la reserva.
Me parece de muy mal gusto que el establecimiento se esté intentando aprovechar y enriquecer de esta situación.
Esta valoración no cambiará hasta que la situación cambie y le cancelen la reserva sin gasto.

Vieja pensión,muy céntrica,en zona bulliciosa. Habitaciones limpias, pero vetustas.El baño limpio,pero viejo.Si te toca una habitación que da para la calle,reza para que los del hostel de abajo,no tengan ganas de fiesta...solo para una o dos noches.Por cierto,en esa calle y su paralela,en la parte de arriba hay varios night club y en la calle hay señoras en busca de amor...

Un fin de semana maravilloso en Oporto, en parte porque nuestra estancia en Guest House Triunfo fue todo un acierto. Nuestra habitación era amplia, luminosa y muy limpia. Las instalaciones están muy cuidadas y todo está muy nuevo. Las vistas desde la ventana eran espectaculares. Y la atención del personal fue exquisita, muy educados. Sin duda alguna, repetiremos la próxima vez que visitemos Oporto

HORRIBLE! El hotel más ruidoso en el que he estado. Las habitaciones están al lado del mostrador de entrada, cosa que no sería reprochable si no fuera porque los mismos propietarios se dedican a hablar a voces y dar golpes hasta la una de la mañana.
Además, la habitación que nos tocó no tiene ventana, parece un zulo!

Hotel très charmant avec belle déco. La propriétaire est très sympa. Il est à proximité de plusieurs choses à visiter dont la gare de Porto São Bento. Juste l'isolation à revoir en plein hiver car un peu froid.

No hay ascensor ni aire acondicionado y en pleno agosto con 35 grados es inhumano, no hay Higiene hay ciempies estampados en el techo y paredes, no tiene parking y si dejas el coche en la calle con algo una simple gorra por no mencionar otras cosas te rompen el cristal y te desbalijan el coche si es de otra Nacionalidad, Lamentable

Un sitio de los economicos, aunque para mi gusto algo caro para lo que ofrece. La habitacion no se corresponde con las fotos, no tiene las tres camas que reservamos, sino dos camas y una supletoria fragil e incomoda. Su ubicacion es muy céntrica lo cual depende de como se mire es bueno o no, porque no hay aparcamiento para el coche. Hace mucho calor en la habitacion, pero hay ventilador, y huele a humedad, las camas son relativamente comodas. No tiene ascensor, y nuestra habitacion es un tercer piso. En mi opinion es aceptable para pasar una noche pero no para una estancia mayor.

La cama cómoda. Habitación luminosa. Hacen las camas y cambian las toallas todos los días. La dueña muy maja y puedes comunicarte entre español-portugués. Para 3 noches que hemos estado y en las que por el día no parábamos de turistear está perfecto. Foto : vistas desde la habitación.

The rooms are clean and basic, and the owner is very nice (but does not speak English). The property is located close to the historic train station and about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the waterfront. It is very close to wonderful shopping streets. Be advised that the walk up from the waterfront to the hotel is all uphill (good to work off your meal). If you are a light sleeper this may not be the hotel for you - it is an old building (all stairs on the inside) and the walls are very thin. You can hear the outside like it was in the room. There is free parking on the street after 8pm to 8am - first come first serve. Otherwise parking is $1 Euro for every 2 hours. The price per room is decent but it really is a 2 Star property by North American standards.

The hotel is less than 5 minutes walking from Sao Bento station which is about 35-40 minutes from the airport by metro. Within a radius of 10-15 minutes walking from Sao Bento station there are about 75% of Portos landmarks, plus loads of buses, the tram and funicular, not to mention bar, restaurants, eateries, etc. The room I had was reasonably sized but with a great humidity issue, literally cracking through the plaster on the walls. No central heating but an electric radiator on wheels, to be shared with the bathroom, which was small (toilet, basin and shower box, no bidet) and apparently without ventilation. The bed wasnt too bad, there was a wardrobe but no drawers, a chair and a bedside table of sort. Staff was friendly and helpful but they only speak Portuguese. Providing that you leave the room by 11.00am they will change the towels and make the bed. If you are about staying in a cool place give it a wide berth, as everything is on the scrappy, cheappo side. Equally, I wouldnt go there when is really cold. In the end, you get what you pay for, considering the location. One last thing: the price does not include taxes, which are €2 per day per each person.

Residencial Triunfo location was very good in city center, not far from train station. Can go party and walk back by foot safely with no problem.
However room was really cold as we travelled in winter amd it was raining. Room had one elextrical heating but it was not enough to warm up bathroom and room. It had two single beds with some single blankets, but we still got cold over night even with heater on. Windows was letting cold air go inside.
would say that this price is only because of location.

I would not recommend staying at this guesthouse to a friend. The woman who checked me in was not friendly and only showed me to my room and shut the door. Then she went back to her room and was not available for questions. I would have liked some restaurant recommendations or even just a Porto map. The room was dirty and dated. The bathroom was dirty as well. I could not wait to leave.

Non lo consiglio assolutamente, ci sn stata 3 notti, nn vedevo l'ora di andar via, letto con le molle saltate, piccola stufetta x riscaldare la camera, il resto dell edificio nn riscaldato!!luogo molto rumoroso la notte!!

Hotel bas de gamme dans un quartier pour le moment en travaux chambre basique avec des fenetres qui ferment mal... par contre salle de bain dans la chambre alors que c etait pas précisé... bref nous savions a quoi nous attendre donc pas plus surpris que ça

El servicio fue muy atento en todo momento. Las habitaciones son antiguas pero están reformadas. Se agradecen los enchufes extra, el único pero es el baño que es pequeño. La situación es inmejorable. Limpieza correcta

Good locations, better than first impression. Near the cathedral, and the other way near good cafes for breakfast. Manageress charming. But the stairs are rather steep, and up two flights to all but one room. Fir fit people only, and those with light luggage.

We only spent one night in Porto and didnt want to spend 100€ so we opted for this one. We didnt take breakfast though so I cant rate that but the room was clean and comfortable. Great location and lovely owner.

Posto molto spoglio e mal tenuto. Non voto 1 solo per l'economicità. La proprietaria, unica del personale, non sa l'inglese ed è molto difficile comunicarci e anche trovarla dato che "sparisce" di tanto in tanto. La posizione è comoda ma difficile da trovare. Consiglio per una toccata e fuga.

Impossible de payer par carte de crédit à notre arrivée : nous avons couru le centre de Porto pour trouver un guichet Multibanco qui marchait. Bien situé près du centre de Porto mais environnement vraiment très délabré : la maison den-face est à létat de ruines. Chambre propre mais qui nécessiterait dêtre aménagée avec un mobilier de base (table de nuit, lampe, un endroit pour poser une trousse de toilette. Odeur dhumidité très présente. Pas cher mais encore trop pour ce qui est offert.

Malgré le personnel unilingue portugais et l'aspect de la rue laissant à désiré nous recommandons fortement cet hôtel. Nous avons été reçu comme des rois et avons pleinement profité de la situation centrale de l'hôtel pour visiter plusieurs sites touristiques.

We loved our stay in Porto! I would recommend printing out detailed directions before you begin your trip because it was a little hard to find the hotel without them. Its on a small street - which is perfect - and does not have a big sign out front. Also, be sure to ask the extremely nice women who run the hotel to take you to the parking lot. We wandered around the neighborhood looking for a lot that would let us park overnight for 5 Euro, but it turned out the hotel has its own parking spots in a private garage that is opened only with a key. The location is also amazing! It is just around the corner from the Plaza Batahla, where you can catch the trolley, and also very close to the Sao Bento metro station, and just up the street from the funicular that takes you directly to the waterfront! I am definitely staying here again!

Staff were really really nice but they dont speak English (luckily I speak Spanish, close enough). The location was great, close to everything by walking distance. The room was kind of fine for the money we payed (20 per night per person) but there was a lot of mold between the curtains and the wall, and also in the ceiling a bit. That gave the room a weird smell, we werent happy about it. The bathroom could have been cleaner, particularly the plastic slidable door for taking a shower. There wasnt any trash bin in the room (only one small, next to the toilet) and the shelf in the washbassin was falling apart. Also, they didnt gave us a proper receipt, only a signed paper (which was actually our own printed reservation), and they only accept cash. I think the hotel is fine if you are the kind of sleep-anywhere person, otherwise I would recommend to go somewhere else. Staff were quite friendly and attentive I have to say though. And also the location is quite good, maybe for the price we paid wasnt that bad.

Porto is a smallish city and this hotel is accessible to everything. It is a small hotel with few luxuries but the room was quiet and had everything we needed. Staff were very nice and helpful. WIFI worked. The signage was virtually non-existent and that was a drawback. Streets in Porto have very strange numbering and it was half a block from where we thought it would be. Other than that it was everything we needed.

Une charmante jeune fille persuadée quEric est un prénom de jeune fille vous accueille à la réception, puis je change dimmeuble pour un autre juste à côté, de même style, début 1900.Cette pension est en rénovation mais les ouvriers sarrêtent quand vous arrivez et ne travaillent pas la nuit.La chambre est grande, deux lits pour moi tout seul, avec un balcon sur lavenue. Le mobilier traditionnel est efficace. Les toilettes sont récentes et propres.Bref, la chambre et le service étaient vraiment bien et je nai pas de critiques négatives à faire dautant plus que le rapport qualité prix est vraiment imbattable!Vous avez le droit de vouloir dépenser plus pour moins bien ou pareil ailleurs...

Sehr einfache Unterkunft - Laminatfußboden renovierungsbedürftig,aber nicht schmutzig.Die Unterkunft ist als solche zunächst schlecht zu erkennen (Billardleuchtreklame am Haus) und der erste Eindruck vom Umfeld schreckt etwas ab (Das Gepäck wird vor dem Haus bei ansteigender,enger Straße entladen - nachfolgender Verkehr muß warten). Das KfZ wird dann jedoch ca 100 Meter entfernt sicher in einer abgeschlossenen Garage neben einer Polizeistation für 5 Euro geparkt. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist auf den 2.Blick ideal - nur wenige Meter bis zur Haupteinkaufsstr. Rua de Santa Catarina,zur Kathedrale, zur Brücke Don Luis und der Bodegameile am Douro (Höhenunterschied).Wer eine preiswerte Unterkunft im Herzen der engen Altstadt sucht und auf Komfort keinen besonderen Wert legt (Internetanschluß im Zimmer vorhanden),kann hier buchen.

Habíamos visto que la recepción era 24h pero resulta que por la noche tienes que tener algo de suerte que alguién se despierta (la duena).Después de saber que timbre tocar (el de abajo) nos funcionó sin problemas.Nos tocó una habitación regular pero me dicen que las otras son mejores. La calle del hostal da un poco de miedo por la noche (pero son solamente 50 m desde la plaza que está bien) pero a nosotros no nos pasó nada.Era una opción barato y por lo cual no tengo queja. Para poco más dinero recomendaría (nos quedamos allí una noche y la verdad es que estaba MUCHO mejor) el hotel B&B de plaza de la bathalla.

Die Gastgeber waren sehr bemüht, uns einen schönen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Die Bezeichnung Hotel hat uns allerdings etwas anderes erwarten lassen - neue Möbel, Rezeption, Hotelcharakter.

the hotel residencial triunfo is more hostel than hotel, but with private rooms with bathrooms, it is a decent option if you are trying to save money. location is good, but at first glance the surrounding area looks a little run-down

O hotel tem uma caracteristica que lembra muito o atendimento a mochileiros, que são constantes. O atendimento é bem caseiro parece que estamos em casa, a proximidade com lugares como o cais da ribeira a as pontes que dao a acesso Vila Nova de Gaia e a outra margem do rio Douro, com as caves do vinho do porto e maravilhosos restaurantes.
