Hier gab es den ersten und den letzten Ginjinha meines Aufenthaltes in Lissabon. Wohlgemerkt, es handelte sich dabei nicht nur um ein Glas! Von den drei Ginjinha-Ständen in der Lissaboner Altstadt, die unsere Reisegrupe öfters besuchten, schmeckte uns der hier angebotene Ginjinha am besten. Zur Erinnerung habe ich mir eine große Flasche des Ginjinha mit nach Hause genommen, damit auch in der Heimat die Urlaubserinnerungen wach werden können. In dem Ginjinha von Sem Rival sind übrigens auch Kirschen zu finden.

Locale minuscolo dove è possibile gustare una gingihna eccezionale con dentro anche le ciliegie. Viene servita in bicchierini di plastica al costo di 1.40€. Molto gentile il proprietario. Difficile non fare il bis!!

Best in the city and friendly workers. One guy relocated from CT since he loves Portugal so much. Better than down the street on the other of the theater. We went a few times and always loved the licor. Go yourself and you won't be disappointed!

근처 아 진지냐에는 작은 사이즈가 없어서 여기로 왔는데 일단 한잔 마시고 제일 작은 사이즈 3.5유로짜리 3병 달라고 했다가 한병 더 달라고 해서 4병을 샀습니당ㅋㅋ 근데 계산은 한잔 마신거랑 3병만 해줬어요! 한 병을 그냥 주신건지 계산을 잘 못 한건진 모르겠지만 기분이 좋아서 땡큐 오브리가도 하고 나왔네용!! 체리주는 와인이랑 다르게 약간 양주 맛이 나요! 그래도 넘 달달하니 좋아용 크크

Крошечный бар, буквально 2 на 2 метра. Продают вишневый ликер своего производства — жиньжиньи (Ginjinha). Тут всегда многолюдно. Берешь пластиковый стаканчик ликера, отходишь в сторонку и пробуешь. Очень сладкий, приторный. Есть с ягодами и без. Очень атмосферно, месторасположение очень выигрышное. Под вывеской портрет основателя.

Prodotto tipico d'eccellenza, in questo piccolissimo locale si può assaggiare decisamente la *migliore* Ginjinha (liquore alle ciliege) e alcuni altri distillati. Un negozio uscito dalla macchina del tempo, qualche spiccio per un bicchierino con dentro due o tre visciole e il liquore rosso e dolce, entrare in un rito straniero e sentircisi a proprio agio. Si esce dal minuscolo locale con il bicchierino e le dita appiccicose, lo si sorseggia in piedi in strda appoggiati ai tavolini alti e minuscoli o guardando il flusso di turisti che sciama verso praça Dom Pedro IV, separati da loro dal bicchierino che è come un lasciapassare per avere il diritto di fermarsi, sorridere, godere il semplice fatto di essere lì in quel momento.
Il liquore è davvero buono, dolce (e questo significa alcolico, mi pare siano 23 gradi) e adatto a tutti i palati. Ottimo come aperitivo, come digestivo, come pausa, con una scusa qualsiasi o anche senza.
La ginja presa qui è completa di ciliegia nel bicchierino: acquistando una bottiglia altrove o facendocela servire in un ristorante la ciliegia resterà nella bottiglia a macerare e non sarà degustata. Ecco perché dopo un buon pasto conviene venire qui a gustarsi il bicchierino di puro piacere.
Con grande sorpresa ho trovato il prodotto di questo negozio, la ginja Sem Rival, anche su Amazon. Non sarà assolutamente la stessa cosa ma la ordinerò senza dubbio.
Il secondo prodotto del locale, il liquore Eduardino? Sicneramente era così buona (e alcolica) la ginjinha che non ho avuto proprio la volontà per provarlo. :)

A Ginjinha do Largo de S. Domingos, propriedade de um galego de nome Espinheira, foi o primeiro estabelecimento em Lisboa (1840) a comercializar a bebida que lhe dá o nome e que rapidamente se transformou num ex-líbris da cidade. Por conselho de um frade da Igreja de Santo António, Espinheira fez a experiência de deixar fermentar as ginjas dentro de aguardente, juntando-lhe açúcar, água e canela. O êxito foi imediato, quer por ser doce, quer por ser barato, e a ginjinha transformou-se na bebida típica de Lisboa. Dá para passar pela capital portuguesa sem provar ao menos um gole de ginjinha, uma das bebidas típicas mais populares do país. Ginjinha, ou simplesmente ginja, é um licor obtido a partir da maceração da fruta da ginja (nome científico Prunus cerasus), similar à cereja, muito popular em Portugal, especialmente em Lisboa, em Óbidos, em Alcobaça e no Algarve.
É costume servi-la com uma fruta curtida no fundo do copo, popularmente dito "com elas", ou, quando pura, "sem elas". Ginjinha sem rival! Entrei, provei, bebi! Depois da primeira à sempre uma segunda! *****

Last time in Lisbon we always went to the other place, just a few meters from here ("A Ginjinha"), which was really good as well.
But this time we mostly came here a bit later in the night (around 11pm-midnight) and the other place was already closed for the day.
This place though was still open. Serves similar-sized Ginjinha (cherry liquor) for similar (low) prices. Take a shot...or two....or three. Served with a smile, quick and tasty. At least as good as the competition. Maybe even a bit better. Always nice to come here for a late night shot of Ginjinha before sleep.

Best Ginja in Lisbon! The shop authentically tiny but you don’t really need space! Service was swift and friendly! We went to a couple of ginja shops durning our stay and this was hands down the best with a guaranteed cherry in your brimming glass! Esteve em riscos de fechar muito recentemente por causa da pressão imobiliária. Esta loja já certificada como histórica, continua a ser a que tem as portas abertas até mais tarde. O sabor do licor que ao balcão centenário é vendido é completamente diferente do da vizinha Espinheira.

A Ginja é bastante boa e os empregados sempre bem dispostos e conversadores.

My friends and I enjoyed visiting this place for a nip of ginjinha several times during our visit to Lisbon. We took one of the liter bottles on our travels around Portugal and it aided in many fun evenings (although the cherries are tough to get out of the liter bottle's neck!).

If you are in Lisbon you must try the Ginjinha, a portuguese liqueur made from ginja berries (cherry) infused in alcohol. And this is a great place to try it. A small interior that you queue to get into reveals a tiny bar where the staff rapidly pour small shots of the liqeur making sure to drop a few of the cherries into each shot glass. Take away and enjoy, no need to down this just sip and enjoy. At the end you are left with two or more very boozy cherries, believe me!

No es el bar para beber ginjinha más conocido, pero me gusta mucho más la de aquí que la del bar como referencia turística para beberla.
