Pretty good and very easy for kids as the river had no fast water, but almost stagnant in lots of places, down side is the water depth is very shallow and you are in two man open barges. You have to get out in a few places along the way as you are beached. 2nd half of the trip is against the incoming tide and head wind. If you're not a competent canoeist you may find this tough going for the distance.

Kayaking down river Coura was fun and family safe. The monitors make sure no one is left behind and no one gets into trouble. The safety guidelines at the beginning are easy to understand and easy to follow. The whole journey is safe apart from a few branches and shallow spots that might require you get out of the kayak.

Vriendelijke begeleiding. De kajaktocht is zeker niet spectaculair. Eigenlijk ideaal om met kleine kinderen te doen. De tocht heeft een lengte van ongeveer 6 kilometer.

We went on a kayaking tour down a river right next to Caminha. The river, setting, and itinerary was beautiful, however, the professionalism, organisation and friendliness of the Minhaventura team was awful. We were a group of 8 and were put together with various groups and totalled 40 people. The start was at 10am - and they had insisted that we be on time - regardless, 38 people had to wait for 1 hour for two people who were late. The departure was disorganised with 20 kayaks trying to enter the river, and very little direction of the 4 guides who did not help, but simply pushed us aside to get their kayaks into the water. With 40 people, the group was diverse in regards to age and fitness. The guides insisted that we stay together which meant most of the 2.5 hour kayak tour is spent waiting for those who either are unable to kayak, or want to move at a snails pace. There were some stretches which were difficult for all kayakers, and the 4 guides never helped anyone out, but just looked on and waited for their customers to figure out a way to continue and get on with it. And lastly, although the river is calm, there is a 1.5 km section which goes against the current and is known to have a lot of wind which is physically demanding. I would not recommend this itinerary to those who are not in good physical shape as it will not be a pleasure. Caminha and the surrounding region is beautiful, and the river is well worth kayaking, however, I would recommend that you choose another company altogether and not Minhaventura

Uma experiência sem duvida divertida e emocionante . A ajuda dos guias que vão connosco de kaiake K1 é praticamente nula pois mesmo com os avisos por vezes os barcos viram e a ajuda deles é nula como disse anteriormente. Um bom percurso para quem quer ficar com is braços com musculo pois cança muito estar 2H a remar.
