The location is lovely, right in the heart of the Medieval neighbourhood near the cathedral. The views from the dorms of the city and the river valley are excellent. The laundry facilities are standard for a pilgrim Albergue, though more spacious than the ones we saw in Portugal.
2 dorms, clean and quiet.
Not enough outlets to charge phones.
No blankets (it was warm enough in mid-May that I was warm with my light sleeping bag only).
Kitchen has no fridge, pots, pans, utensils, so it doesn’t see much use.
No alcohol in the Albergue (which wasted surprising to me, after Portugal).
I couldn’t figure out the wifi, but they have it.
Staff were nice and efficient, didn’t really speak English but I don’t expect them to in Spain.
If you’re lucky to be there in nice weather, try sitting in the back courtyard - it’s quiet and peaceful, overlooking San Telmo’s as the swallows swoop overhead.
Very close (<4 min walk) to grocery stores, closer to cafes/restaurants.
I loved it. I’d go back in a go back in a heartbeat.

место в соответствии с традициями альберге. При заселении следует помнить, что Туй это уже Испания. Т.е.+1 час. Заселение с 13.00. Два душа - мужской и женский. Кухни, как таковой, нет. Если не считать наличия плиты и отсутствия посуды. Видел 2 дортимори. по 20 мест. Двухэтажные кровати. Деревянные. Лестницы на 2й ярус кроватей есть. Кровати не шатаются. Про зарядки для телефонов все уже писали

Tem o suficiente para albergar um peregrino durante uma noite, contudo penso que a cozinha deveria estar melhor equipada (não tem qualquer utensílio). O espaço é limpo e agradável.

Bueno, para ser un albergue público no está mal. Pase mucho frío porque no había cobijas ni calefacción. Tiene una cocina inútil, sin utensilios. La hospitalera un poquito complicada pero dispuesta a compartir información importante . Tiene colchones cubiertos de plástico, más dan unas sábanas desechables.

Poca pulito, doccia senza privacy. Camere fredde. Mancanza di prese per ricaricare il telefono. Wi-Fi complicato per accedere.

Ubytovna má skvělou polohu. Nachází se totiž hned vedle katedrály v Tui a zároveň vedle části Svatojakubské cesty. Rád bych řekl, že díky poloze jedná o ideální ubytovnu, ale není to tak úplně pravda. Ubytovna nemá kuchyň (prý z jakýchsi zdravotních důvodů). S tím je spojena i absence např. ledničky či rychlovarné konvice. Je pravda, že v Tui to příliš nevadí. Je zde v okolí mnoho restaurací, které vážně stojí za to. Pro ty, kteří nemají tolik €, příp. si rádi připravují své pokrmy sami, to není ideální volba. Dále zde mají menší problém s vodou, tedy s tou teplou. Nevím, v čem byl problém, ale sprchy byly dost studené a voda na toaletách také lehce protestovala. Posledním negativem je nedostatek elektrických zásuvek. Některým bych proto doporučil jinou ubytovnu či hotel / hostel. Několik jich tu je (i v tomto malém městečku).

El albergue aceptable pero en recepcion sabiendo que no teniamos mantas ni sacos de dormir no nos ayudaron a buscar una solucion.Toda la noche sin dormir con frio.Creo q ese no es el espiritu de acogida al peregrino.

Docce fredde....cucina (per ragioni sanitarie dicono) non attrezzata...niente padelle ne piatti ne bicchieri...e neanche un frigorifero dove riporre ne acqua ne altro per una colazione.... neanche un bollitore per Aqua calda...niente lenzuola usa e getta ne coperte...

Bien pour l'accueil et le prix pour le pèlerin. Tres bien situé. 1 prise de courant à se disputer dans un dortoir de l'ordre de 16 personnes.
Heureusement, jai toujours ma multiprise.

Die Lage ist super, direkt neben der Kathedrale. In einem alten historischen Gemäuer befindet sich die offiziell Herberge von Tui. Sonst ist ja schon fast alles gesagt wurden...kaum Steckdosen, zwei Toiletten pro Geschlecht (36+ Menschen), Duschen keine Ablagemöglichkeiten, Küche verdient den Namen leider nicht (keine Gläser, Besteck oder Tõpfe...allerdings gibt es ein Kochfeld), das typische Plastikbettzeug (man bekommt einen "Einwegbettbezug" der aus den selben Material wie Maler Anzüge besteht, was für Spanien aber typisch ist). 2 große Schlafsäle, bis 22Uhr geöffnet, kein Alkohol, keine Zigaretten erlaubt, es ist etwas zu wenig Platz um Wäsche zu waschen und aufzuhängen. Preis liegt bei 6€ pro Nacht, Internet ist kostenlos

Es handelt sich um eine Pilgerherberge, die meines Erachtens gut ist und alles bietet was man braucht, bisauf Küchenutensilien (in Spanien allerdings üblich!!).
Sehr positiv ist mir aufgefallen, dass wir einen Bettbezug bekommen haben. In den vorherigen Herbergen war das nicht der Fall! Des Weiteren gibt es zwei Schlafräume bei denen die Betten nicht eng aneinander stehen, was in Rubiães der Fall ist. Für 36 Betten gibt es m. E. ausreichend Toiletten und Duschen.
Zu meinen Vorredner kann ich nur sagen, dass ich die Kritik an manchen Stellen nicht verstehe. Wer vorher in Herbergen wie Rates (2-3 Toiletten für 60 Leute) oder Rubiäes (kleine Duschkabinen und kaputte Klodeckel) genächtigt hat, wird merken, dass die Herberge schon zu den besseren gehört. Wer einen gewissen Komfort und Luxus erwartet, sollte nicht Pilgern sondern direkt den All-In Urlaub buchen.
Sollte ich den Weg nochmals pilgern, würde ich immer wieder hierher kommen.

it’s a perfectly fine place to stay on the camino as it is very clean and has fine showers- really all you need! it has a washer for €3 and a dryer for €1,50. the garden is nice and it is located right next to tui’s cathedral and many restaurants and souvenir shops if you’re looking for that, along with a grocery store. however, the kitchen is very minimal, lacking a fridge, soap, oven... and the club nearby is quite noisy. but, it served its purpose as a hostel. €6 and make sure to bring your ticket to go in and out.

Absolutely horrible hostlady. The place had very strict rules. At 10 in the evening, the lights turn off in the lounge area and you are told to go to bed.
After we left, the host lady called the other albergues and told them that we had been very loud and badly behaving because we played cards in the lounge until 10 o clock.

Estamos en albergue y nos preparamos en hacer 135kilometros DIRECION a Santiago para aver el apóstol y hacer el camino de Santiago vengo de Portugal ya queda menos paisaje únicos y personas que conoces por el caminó fantástica el camino hay que hacerlo una vez a la vida se come de narices por el caminó hay que saber los sitiós y dormir bajos las estrellas o albergue siempre está lleno sino a las estrellas poreso es verano .

Por 6 euros tienes una cama, pero para de contar. En la cocina no hay nada para cocinar (ni vasos). Las duchas son comunes. Hay lavadora por 3 euros y secadora por 1,5 euros. Se agradece la sabanita fina y la funda de almohada que te dan gratis. Todo muy limpio. Cargar el móvil complicado: unos 5 enchufes para todo el albergue (+35 peregrinos).

Gute Herberge mit frühen Schließzeiten.
In Tui angekommen, ging ich gleich zur alten Herberge, die sich in einer Gasse hinter der Kathedrale befindet. Die Ausstattung war gut, die Gemeinschaftsduschen und das Bad modern renoviert. Nebenan gab es die Waschmaschine und einen Balkon von dem man einen tollen Ausblick hat.
Die Herberge besteht aus zwei großen Schlafsälen mit rund 20 Stockbetten. Zum Glück ergatterte ich einen Platz unten ;) In der Nacht war es trotz einigen Schnarchnasen - darunter auch ich - relativ ruhig.
Schuhe sind in der Garderobe im EG abzustellen, bei all den schmutzigen Schuhen auch verständlich. Ein definitiver Nachteil sind die frühen Schließzeiten um 22 Uhr. Wenn man also den Abend länger ausklingen lassen will, steht man vor verschlossenen Türen.

El albergue está muy bien situado. Muy limpio. La hospitalaria fue muy amable. Con el ticket del albergue se puede acceder gratuitamente a la piscina municipal. El desvío desde el ayuntamiento al albergue está MUY MAL INDICADO. Ver la foto que he añadido de la esquina del ayuntamiento.

Si vas con bici no eres bien recibido hasta las 20h, se ve que no mereces descansar como cualquier otro peregrino y poder hacer turismo por Tui.

Está bien, pero si la noche es calurosa toca dormir con las ventanas abiertas y es difícil dormir por el ruido de la calle, ya que hay un bar justo abajo.

Apre al pubblico alle 13:00, se arrivate prima dovrete attendere fuori. Il giorno dopo il pernottamento bisogna lasciare la struttura entro le 8:00. Un po' trascurato come albergue per i pellegrini, docce in comune senza alcuna privacy, pochissime prese a disposizione e nessun plaid sopra il lettino, nessuna pinzetta per stendere l'abbigliamento fuori. Il prezzo è di 6 € ciascuno ma a parte questo c'è molto da migliorare!

Puuuh... Schlimme Herbergsmutter, die pünktlich um 22 Uhr das Licht im gesamten Haus abgeschalten hat. War ziemlich unfreundlich. Euer Handy solltet ihr vorher laden, es gibt nur wenige Steckdosen. Es hat einen super schönen Innenhof den wir genutzt haben.

Sehr spießig. 22h schließen die Tore und um 22:30h wird das Licht ausgeschaltet. In der Küche kann nicht gekocht werden.

Machen um 10:00 zu, WLAN ist nur kompliziert zu bekommen, wenig Steckdosen, kleines Bad für viele Leute, Betten sind ok. Nachtrag: nur ein Stern, weil keine Gläser vorhanden sind. Zudem Alkohol und Rauchverbot.

The host was very unpolite. They served us only bed with miserable paper bed cover. No blanket nor Heater in the room.
There was not hot shower. we left room without passing night. and the host lady said us ”no retern the fee 6euros" with angry face. Its hospitality was hard.

Gerade wurde eine 70 jährige Pilgerin neben mir abgewiesen: die Dame ist seit Lissabon unterwegs, wurde als "Touristin" beschimpft und ausgelacht (?) weil sie heute nur aus Valenca kam.
Wieso nehmen sich Kirchenvertreter sowas raus?
Und wieso fordern Sie Geld von Pilgern, wenn sie kein Hotel sind? Dann sollten sie doch Spenden nehmen, oder?

El albergue está muy limpio, aunque decidí llevar las chanclas puestas siempre por las moscas - incluso en la ducha -. La hospitalera es muy agradable pero sólo saben Español o Gallego. En la cocina sólo hay un microondas si no recuerdo mal. Pasé algo de calor con el saco de dormir (de 15°-20°) en Agosto, aunque esto último es algo irrelevante. :-)

Mankamentem tej pięknej albergi, była symboliczna część kuchenna i bardzo mała liczba gniazdek elektrycznych. Z naładowaniem smartfona był kłopot.

기존 사진들이 너무 오래됐는지 실제 방문해 보니 더 깔끔하고 좋았어요. 볕도 잘 들어오고. 알베르게 6유로, 세탁기/건조기 각각 3/1.5 샤워실에 칸막이가 없어서 별 하나 뺐습니다..!

Overall very nice, but employees should be able to communicate in English(even in basic way), and the kitchen should have a basic dishes (e.g. frying pan). Big advantage of this albergue is, that it's located right behind the cathedral, in the heart of old town.

Auch wenn der Eingangsraum nicht danach ausschaut. Diese Herberge ist richtig schön. Das Bad mit Mosaiksteinen gefliest und zur Herberge gehört ein schöner Innenhof, mit Sitzgelegenheiten, wo man in Ruhe ein Buch lesen oder sich die wunden Füße in der Sonne, aber auch im Schatten, massieren kann. Manko: kein Geschirr (dabei ist die Küche richtig schön) und die Duschen sind Gemeinschaftsduschen, in einem Raum mit den Toiletten. Die Lage ist genial, direkt neben der Kathedrale gelegen.
