I was completely new to all this boating lark, so really didn't know where to start, but one name kept coming up with everyone I asked for advice of where the best place was to go to get my boat licence . Julian Mead Portugal Sail and Power. I must admit I was excited and a bit apprehensive about it on the morning of my first lesson. I arrived to see my Instructor waiting for me Paulo ,who I can only describe looked like an ex S.A.S .Soldier. This guy you soon realize really knows his stuff and put all the lessons over in such a way it sticks in your mind using bits of humour , is a clever way to remember the things he is teaching you. I really cannot recommend this Company enough, even when the course was completed when I told them my boat mooring that I had been given was very tight and I was worried I was going to damage my boat. "No problem we will come down and help you" This really was after sale's service no problem and no charge, even after spending over a good hour with me till I felt totally confident. Summing up Portugal Sail and Power's reputation precedes them and I cannot recommend them enough, very professional, great fun and nice people. Paulo you are a great Instructor and Teacher.
