Comme Vincent, le cadre et sympa, les plats sont bien à un prix raisonnable mais les serveurs on clairement envie de vous faire fuir. Dommage

Nice place but that's all, had a tostie wich was ok'ish and cucumber water - overpriced disappointment. Slow service.

Très bel endroit et château magnifiquement restauré. Une occasion de s'éloigner du littoral pour profiter un peu de l'intérieur des terres. Prévoir une bonne heure pour visiter le château. Il y a de quoi se restaurer à l'intérieur. Les prix sont des prix assez élevés car c'est un lieu touristique.

Le cadre est sympa (mais venteux). On y mange correctement et pour pas trop cher. Et effectivement le serveur n'a vraiment pas envie de travailler. Le sourire, le bonjour, le merci et le bon appétit sont en option (non disponible aujourd'hui visiblement)

Fantastic little cafe in amazing surrounding serving absolutely delicious drinks by s charming young man. We had a red fruit and a lemon granizada, Both made from fresh fruit and they were the best we have ever had. The rest of the drinks menu was full of unusual delicious sounding drinks such as lemonade with ginger and cardamom and the food menu looked equally intriguing and tasty. We just might have to go back inside the castle so we can have lunch here....

Lieu pour prendre un café très agréable. Ombragé.
Il y a de l espace pour les familles. La carte ne casse pas des briques mais vu le lieu ça va.
Oublié le service , ils sont tous d une lenteur et d une inneficacite decomcertante.
C est juste un sketch de les voir courir a gauche a droite et brasser de l air

Angenehm preiswert. Das "Cucumber water" ist sehr erfrischend und kostet aktuell (September 2018) 3,20€
Die Baguette sind ok, die Bedienungen sind freundlich.

Nada melhor do que beber uma água de pepino no Café Silves depois de subir a ladeira para visitar o Castelo num calor escaldante do verão no Algarve. O gelado de tangerina também é muito bom.

Gleich als erstes. Nicht in das Caffee am Eingang vom Castello.gehen. Ist ätzend da. Dieses Caffee hier ist direkt im Castello. Die Preise für Speisen und Getränke sind im angenehmen bereich. Die Bedienung ist nett und sehr flott. Probiert das Pfirsich Eis. Ein Traum von Eis. Nach dem Rundgang durch das Castello kann man hier gut eine Pause machen. Klare Empfehlung

It was terrible experience. Drinks took ages to arrive and food ridiculously long. It wasn't busy but only one waitress (with not the greatest attitude either) and one girl behind the bar. Never again...

Good place to sit after viewing the castle grounds. Friendly and accomodating host and a very clean premise. Nice food for a reasonable price.

Häftig miljö att äta en lunch i, inuti en gammal fästning. Kändes som en oas.
Maten var bra och personalen trevlig. De var väldigt hjälpsamma vid frågor om allergier.
Helt ok prismässigt, går att hitta billigare, men då får man kanske inte samma kvalitet på maten och denna plats.

Le serveur a tiré la tronche quand je lui ai demandé la carte des boissons (à 16h00...) donc j'ai rebroussé chemin.
Les tarifs sont corrects pour un lieu touristique.

The place is really nice, very friendly staff, food was good as well as drinks and I liked the radio - it was the first place with classic rock music, wow :-) strongly recommended!

Dentro de un castillo medieval, rodeado de césped, fuentes y murallas, es el lugar perfecto para comer en Silves, o merendar. La música de fado, el servicio rápido y agradable y los precios razonables cierran el círculo.

Vanwege de warmte in het kasteel is natuurlijk elk koel drankje lekker, maar de agua de pepino is daar overheerlijk en dorstlessend. Door de gember in het drankje, kwam ook onze maag los en besloten we een tonijn salade te nemen met wat brood. Jammer dat de tonijn niet naar tonijn smaakte...

O lugar é lindo , o bolo regional espetacular. Apenas um garçon com má vontade e despreparado para servir o licor fumado, sem classe. Quando fui da primeira vez acho q foi o dono do bar que nos serviu o licor fumado , agora levei amigos e parentes e o garçon não fez igual e com muita má vontade.

Nagyon finom a banán és az ananász split-jük. Viszont a kiszolgálás ... az hogy nincs mosoly, az egy dolog. De hogy egy ilyen helyen, ilyen unott pofával szolgáljon fel valaki (középkorú, szemüveges felszolgáló).

Very pretty location inside the Castelo. Only had drinks, but the menu looked inviting. The Silves Frozen Orange (pictured) was exceptioanlly good !

Good food, perfect cafe and nice service. Try the local cake (Fatia de bolo). We also had the luck to assist to a very nice falcon show :)

Prima restaurant met goed eten voor zeer redelijke prijs. Fijne plaats om ook even te zitten tijdens rondkijken in kasteel en om even op adem te komen na beklimming hierheen.

Food was good, especially the shrimp sandwich. Prices were surprisingly cheap for it being a tourist spot. Service was horrible though! Super slow and the waiters seemed to forget a lot.

The cafe is in an incredible location, but it's very expensive. Four euros fifty for a homemade lemonade. Having said that, it's still worth sitting and having a coffee.

Good cafe in the centre of the castle at Silves. Plenty of shaded seating and a few of those big fans with the mist spray so a welcome stop on a very hot day. The cafe serves all the usual food and drink you would expect a Portuguese cafe to serve. Staff were friendly and polite.

This Castle offers Spectacular Panoramic views, must say a Hardy walk up the hill to the Castle.
The Castle is so well designed with just a handful of people guarding, it would be impossible to take, the only issue would be having enough food for a long attempted siege.

Castelo lindíssimo, com muralhas muito bem preservadas, possibilidade de acesso à cisterna do castelo e visita às ruínas do palácio interior. No verão fazem Sunsets às 5as feiras à noite, com música e espetáculos. A entrada no Castelo é paga (2,80€ para adultos, crianças com menos de 10 anos não pagam), mas vale a pena. Paga-se muito mais para visitar monumentos fora do país que têm muito menos para ver...

É pago. E por ser pago os acessos deveriam de ser melhores. Existe um acesso pedonal até ao cimo do Castelo que está abandonado.... e o que leva a imensos turistas ao engano. Deveriam de ter outro tipo de cuidado. O castelo e fabuloso.

Very nice castle. They present you with the opportunity to buy a ticket for both the castle and the museum for only €4,- a person. Very cheap and nice to visit.
