Castro beach house is a perfect place to explore Sintra with its old buildings, walk to the beach or hike the tracks along the coastline with scenic views. We stayed there for 4 days (mid September), the room was quiet and breakfast was simple with as much coffee as you prefer. Alvaro is the friendly host, owner of the place and will support your stay with all the information you need. We had a great time. Sintra is a approx 20-25 min drive. Best is to park your car in the village and visit all high lights by bus or tuk tuk, since the parking lots near the touristic places will be occupied. The beaches in the neighbourhood are between the rocky hills, beautiful and not crowded, with pretty good fish restaurants! The tracks for hiking can mostly be found on both sites of the beach from which you climb up hill.

Bastante cerca de la playa. Sitio muy tranquilo y económico. El dueño Álvaro muy atento y te ayuda con cualquier cosa. La casa viene equipada con todo lo necesario, lavadora, plancha, etc..

Een fijn verblijf gehad in castro beach house. Prima en schone kamers met een eigen badkamer. Dichtbij het strand, ongeveer 200 meter lopen. De eigenaar is vriendelijk en geeft graag tips over wat er toen is in de omgeving. Een basic ontbijt met heerlijk brood (beleg: kaas/ham/jam). Leuke omgeving, wel prettig als je een auto hebt om het meeste uit je verblijf te halen.

Kleines familiengeführtes Hotel mit schön gepflegtem Garten. Nur ein paar Schritte zum Strand und zu den örtlichen Restaurants. Es gibt Ferienhäuschen oder Hotelzimmer. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

Wonderful place to spend your vacation. Super tasty orange juice each morning for breakfast. We felt very welcomed. The only small minus is the view from the window, but other than that everything was perfect.

Very nice old house, every day clean bathroom and room. Very nice owner. Just 200 m from the ocean. The breakfast - fresh juice, bread, ham, cheese, jam. Really nice stay and I don´t speak about the nature and coast around, Definitelly recomend!

Excelente lugar. Alvaro te hace sentir como en casa, un lugar súper tranquilo y si estás harto de hoteles convencionales es la mejor opción. El precio es muy accesible, el desayuno delicioso y las instalaciones son originales y muy cómodas. Lo recomiendo al 100%

Wir waren auf der Suche nach einer Unterkunft nahe Sintra, dabei fiel die Wahl auf das Castro Beach House. Eine sehr gute Wahl, wie sich herausstellte. Es ist nicht all zu weit zum Atlantik, zudem ist es Ruhig und wunderschön familiär. Die Unterkunft ist modern und hat trotzdem den gewissen Flair. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend und sehr lecker. Auch die Tipps unseres Gastgeber Alvaro waren Gold wert und halfen uns die schönsten Ecken zu finden. Wir bedanken uns bei dir Alvaro für den schönen und gelungenen Urlaub.
