Já tive a oportunidade de lá ir várias vezes e em todas elas o serviço, simpatia e sangria foram espetaculares. As Tapas à moda do Douro são deliciosas e muito bem servidas.
I have been at Grau Douro a number of times and the service,, the owners sympathy the sangria and tapas were outstanding I highly recommend Grau Douro as it became my favorite spot in Lisbon downtown Job well done

This is such a great tapas and wine bar - the best we found in Lisbon by far. Excellent wine, delicious food and a fabulous warm welcome by all the staff and the boss (the exceptionally cute dog who guards the door). This is the kind of place that makes a city - a small local business doing a fabulous job of showcasing the best that Portugal has to offer. Loved it and will be back next trip.

Amazing place! We had the chance to visit this place as we missed our connecting flight in Lisbon. But you know what? It happened for the best!
Oskar and his team gave us a great taste of (the north of) Portugal. They really care about their guest! The quality of the food and the drinks is very good.
We really look forward to come back. This time without any connecting flights. Just to spend time in Lisbon!

Underbart litet och mysigt ställe med tapas och gott vin. Ägaren gav oss en guidning av de olika maträtterna och rekommenderade gott vin till. Mycket god mat rakt igenom, till ett bra pris! Som bonus var det livemusik av en väldigt duktig gitarrist och sångare med mycket humor.

Oscar, il proprietario gentile e simpatico dimostratosi fin da subito molto disponibile, ha chiacchierato a lungo con noi raccontandoci della passione per il suo lavoro e la sua terra. Anche sua moglie é stata una perfetta padrona di casa..
Abbiamo trascorso una serata piacevole e un giorno ci torneremo!

Truly an authentically customized culinary experience for each visitor. The food and wine are excellent and absolutely delicious but Oscar and his wife are the true gems of this establishment. Both are personally attentive, helpful with suggestions and make each guest smile throughout their meal. This place is a MUST if you are in Lisbon!

Flavorful and artistic - this restaurant is able to offer the heart of Portugal through various decident wine selections, paired with savoury meats and fresh ingredients from the area. One of the best, hidden spots in Lisbon to visit and make friends.
The best part is they speak Portuguese and English!

Oscar (the owner) was such an incredible host. He personally guided us through the food and wine and made sure we were well taken care of. It’s a small place and luckily we were able to get a reservation. It was full of locals and later in the evening they had incredible live music. Oscar is from the Douro Valley so many of the food and drinks have flavors from that region and Porto. We have a lovely evening!

We had such a fantastic night! It honestly felt like going to your family’s house for dinner. The staff were excellent and the food was amazing. Funnily enough - we had never actually planned on eating there in the first place! We went in while waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant and never left! What a great way to experience the Portuguese cuisine, with owners who love their job, and are so warm and friendly towards all their customers. We stumbled into Grau Douro on our last night in Lisbon. Oscar, the owner, was welcoming, kind, and very helpful when It came to deciding on which tapas to choose from. The restaurant is quaint and cozy, and the food is delicious. We enjoyed two bottles of verde wine and a few plates to nibble on. I highly recommend the chorizo, pork sliders, flatbread, and croquettes. You won’t be disappointed with whatever you choose!
Also, make sure to say “ola” to Calypso the Pom. He is likely hanging out by the bar, waiting for a pet on the head.

We had a wonderful evening there. The food was fantastic, beautifully presented, served quickly, and so fresh! The staff are wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable and truly care about their customers. The place has a great atmosphere, welcoming, modern and fun. The bathrooms were spotless too. I definitely reccomend anyone who visits Lisbon go there.

We feel so lucky to have found this gem on our first night in Lisbon, as we ended up coming back every night. We popped in for a quick glass of wine, but stayed the entire night! An exceptional experience. The other reviews I read explaining how the owner is the driving force to this place could not be more true. The owner, and I presume his wife, helped us with making choices and provided great conversation. There was also live music last in the night, having the owner play along with this accordion. A great experience, good wine, good snack and a lovely place.

The pick of Lisbon. Outrageously good wine (the Foral from Douro was my favourite). Superb, reasonably priced food - traditional Portuguese with fresh seasonal ingredients and vegetarian / vegan options). That said, the vibe for me is the standout feature - tasteful, intimate design and unbeatable service from very nice people.

What a great place to eat or simply enjoy soms great wine and snacks. I highly recommend it. The owners are a charming couple who our proud of the food they serve. Nice to know: their English is perfect.
We had some great wine, charcuterie, cheese and a delicious salad.
The w.c. is nice and clean and I loved the (eighties’) music they play.
Sometimes you can enjoy live music while you eat and the owner plays the guitar (when he can find the time).
We said we would be back. And we will :)

Espaço acolhedor com detalhes interessantes, como por exemplo um mapa na parede com rolhas onde os clientes podem sinalizar o seu país de origem. Nas opções gastronómicas os petiscos são variados e de qualidade, destaco a tábua mista com queijos e enchidos de Lamego, a trilogia de alheira e como sobremesa o toucinho do céu do avô (receita familiar ancestral). Ps Nota para a simpatia do responsável do espaço, muito hospitaleira.
