Classico irish pub nella struttura nella proposta musicale e nella variegata tipologia di birre. Non una virgola sovrapposta in questi locali di legno scuro che hanno la stessa consistenza ovunque, a Lisbona come a Mondovì. 21 euro 2 birre e un cocktail. Non sono le mie realtà

Sono andato più di una volta per guardare le partite di calcio, finale Europa League ed il Roland garros. Spesso ho preso il fish and chips che é molto buono. Anche le cameriere sono molto cordiali e gentili. Da provare.

Ambiente descontraído e agradável, muito emboido da cultura Irlandesa. Aqui há que beber uma Guiness, muito bem tiradas com o sabor tradicional da lendária cerveja com mais de trezentos anos. Há dias com música ao vivo, para descontrair e porque não dançar. O comer, carne, é boa acompanhada de umas boas batatas fritas.

Sempre em busca dos melhores Pubs no lindo, me deparei com o Hennessy’s . Posso dizer, sem dúvida, ser um dos melhores de Lisboa, e por que não dizer, de Portugal. Ambiente agradável, comida e drinks excelentes.
Vão lá sabendo que todo o atendimento no balcão é feito em inglês, quando fui encontrei um funcionário Brasileiro muito simpático, que fala outros idiomas.
O preço condiz com a estrutura é o atendimento do local. A cerveja é servida bem gelada, e as refeições e petiscos no ponto!

Une équipe jeune, dynamique, particulièrement sympathique et visiblement soudée.
Rapidement après être entré, on quitte Lisbonne et on se retrouve à Londres grâce à l'ambiance du lieu.
Seul bémol, on aurait pu croire que le Pub HENNESSY propose d'avantage qu'une seule et unique variété du cognac de la marque quand on sait que le panel de la distillerie de Cognac est si vaste.
Mais ceci est vite pardonné grâce à la gentillesse du personnel.
Merci pour ce très agréable moment.

Where in the world can you go twice and the third time are personally welcomed back! The bar was packed as Ireland v England rugby was showing but the friendly barman found us two seats, shame the English yobs made it so uncomfortable that we left. Fabulous pub. The Irish were lovely.

Pub irlandês no burburinho de Lisboa com banda de rock. A banda é boa, mas confesso que o ambiente de pub não é muito minha cena. O que acho interessante dos pubs em geral é que quando saio sozinha para tomar um drink prefiro bares que tenham balcão.
Os garçons são gringos, então...tudo em inglês. :-)

We went to see the Champions League game .. and the pub was amazing!!
It was our first time and yet the staff were very friendly and helpful.
We also had Heineken and burgers for dinner!

Typical crowd pub so you should know in advance where you going. Although u can notice that the staff is always very busy, they do a great job. Place is inviting but expect loud music!
The best chicken wings in town so far! Burgers are also good quality. If you are into spicy sauce, ask for "bomba sauce"

Delightful week in Lisbon. We ended up most late nights in Hennessys. It felt like a local pub, home away from home. We mostly sampled local food but enjoyed a burger there too once. It was great. I drank local beer which was nice. Jamie and the other staff were great throughout so a big thank you from us. As I said, home from home.

A very nice and originally Irish pub near the center of Lisbon. The atmosphere is great and warm. The dishes are delicious but small and expensive. Also, they ask you to pay and leave if they see you have finished eating and drinking, something I have never seen in any place I have visited and it sounds totally awkward from where I come from. I really think they should respect the client a bit more than this.

You get the feel that you're in a pub. A burger is around 9-10 € and a pint is 4€, this is a pretty good value. I've seen places with 12€ a burger, that are not near on the location and place that you get here.

Hennessy's was a great experience. They will put on any game as long as a TV is open. The fish and chips was good and the Hennessy's burger was good too. Expensive pint but worth it. We tried O'Gilians first and we're terribly disappointed. Don't listen to the reviews of O'Gilians. I can confirm, that Hennessy's is far better.

Sorry guys. You ask for a local Sagres Bohemian and end up to pay 5,50€ for 48cl glass. Wasn’t thinking to drink such a size but wasn‘t asked either and never expected to pay this price for a local beer. My overall great Portugal experience always comes to an end in Lisbon downtown. Sad touristic area! Well, it’s an Irish Pub, probably not the place to be when visiting Portugal. Just needed internet access and thankful for the fast unit. However, I think the prices are still too high, even though the rents are high in this area as well. But it leaves a bad taste, indeed.

Pro: They serve food until 1:30am, whereas most places in Lisbon shut down at midnight.
Cons: They allow smoking inside, and the beer is a bit pricey compared to other spots around Lisbon.
The food was fine, and it delivered what I needed when I got off the train late and it was the only place still serving food. Because they came through for me there, I’m leaving three stars. If I had gone here for a regular meal I’d be less happy given the inside smoking and food quality.

I used to enjoy this place until they started charging €7 for a pint of Guinness halfway through Patrick’s Day.
Save your money and go to O’Gillin’s, just a 2 minute walk away. The only thing Irish about Hennessy’s is the shameless rip-off.

Of course expensive, but nice. Every Wednesday there is an 'open mic' evening, which means there are crew members singing and playing guitar very well and you can sing along and request a song. I did it and it was great! My first time performance in a bar: a star is born, haha! :p

A fantastic pub, with English speaking staff. A great traditional feel to the place.... The staff were incredibly helpful in organising tables for our group of 10. Also welcoming the five 11 year old boys with us...
The food was absolutely top notch (I went for the burger and chips), and easily the best food we had on our trip away.
Would recommend Hennessy's to anyone staying in Lisbon.

Pub muito tradicional e o melhor do Cais do Sodré. Ótimas opções de chopp e cervejas dos mais variados tipos, muitos drinks e ambiente muito legal. Os preços das bebidas condizem com os bares da região, não são tão caros mas também não se comparam a cervejas compradas na rua ou mercados. O hambúrguer de gorgonzola é muito bom. Os choppes Guiness e Kilkenny merecem ser experimentados. Possui dois andares, sofás, mesas e o tradicional balcão (melhor lugar para beber muita cerveja num pub). O atendimento é bom. Sempre tem música muito boa, e alguns dias da semana tem open Mic (toca ou canta quem quiser). Mesmo assim se não gostar, você pode dar uma volta nesta área que existem muitos outros bares e muito movimento.

Another great Irish pub to visit in Lisbon, a DO Not Miss place with traditional ambient over several floors and outside seating which are currently in high demand due to da nice sunny weather. All Irish and international draft beers to enjoy as well as watching football matches on several screens all around da place. Great traditional Irish food and other international tasty bites. I had my traditional "Irish sushi" also called fish & chips on da emareld Ireland with a cold good old Kilkenny. Staff is very polite and service orientated which would add a sixth star if I could.

Um verdadeiro irish pub. Óptimo ambiente, boa música ao vivo, boa carta de cervejas. Não experimentamos a comida mas de certo o vamos fazer numa próxima vez. O único senão é ser um bar para fumadores com péssima extracção de fumos... Normal, mas já nao estamos habituados ao cheiro a tabaco! A repetir!

It’s a pub! Exactly as you’d expect. Staff is friendly AF. Great English - I swear a couple of them are American (turns out there are Americans that work there). Anyways. Drinks . Food (it’s not gonna blow your mind, but if you’re looking for that, you’re looking at the wrong place.) Get the veggie samosas. Great place to just have a relaxed evening in Lisbon.

É um local muito agradável, os garçons são simpáticos e atenciosos, a cerveja é gelada, tem música ao vivo e geralmente consegue -se mesas com facilidade. Um ponto negativo é que por ser permitido fumar em um ambiente fechado, as roupas saem com o cheiro. As porções são pequenas, porém muito gostosas.

Came here 3 times to watch matches and didn’t love it. The staff kept forgetting my orders and when we would ask to close the door because of the reflection on the TV screen they didn’t care.

Visited here to watch one of the Ireland matches during the Rugby World Cup. It made for a great atmosphere, although be ready for a very full pub. Nice spot to watch sports and very easy to find.
There's also two floors and a breakfast menu, so it makes good for groups too!

Pâtes Carbonara avec une tonne de poulet et des champignons... Si vous n'êtes pas italien ça passe. Pour accompagner j'ai pris une IPA artisanale à la pression, très agrumė mais agréable. Carbonara pasta with a shitload of chicken and mushrooms... If you aren't an italian I guess it is quite ok. In addition I had a crafted IPA which wasn't Bad at all too. Nice Irish pub...

Irish pub with Irish prices in a city filled with cheap beer elsewhere.. In the bar next to our apartment the pints of Sagres are €1.50 but here they're €4.. Guinness was a whopping €5.50! We didn't eat but in all honesty the food didn't look appealing when looking at the other tables. No price list to be seen anywhere for the beers.

Good atmosphere and live music. Bar stools make it very difficult to get to the bar and order. I was charged more than the price shown on the menu for drinks so be warned of their dishonest practices.

Fun Irish Pub atmosphere with the dark wood paneling. Great selection of drinks. Fish & Chips were fresh and delicious. They tasted about as authentic as you could get without being in Ireland. Possibly ylthe best chips we have ever had. Nice football on the several tele's around the bar.

You can really feel the irish spirit in here. Loved the wooden furniture inside, the service and the atmosphere. The food wasn't that great but that's subjective. I really recommend the place for an evening of watching sports and drinking

Went to this bar to see Newcastle Vs Arsenal. It was nice the first half of the match Newcastle Vs Arsenal. But when they had played 58min of the match they changed the match sound to commentary of an other match. They have not even started the other match yet. And the staff said they can't do nothing about. It was a waste to use my money here. Such a disappointment. If you want to see you team play - go to another bar!

Passé un bon moment dans ce pub, avec groupe en live. L'ambiance est bonne et Internationale, déco typique des pubs irlandais. Les serveurs et serveuses sont présents, pas d'attente. Le tout avec des prix dans les normes. Possibilité de snack. Prix plus élevés le soir par rapport a la journée.

Very good and tasty snacks for an even better price. I went there looking for something to eat around midnight and I ended having a good time with a tasty dinner.
Excellent option to eat if you're arriving late at night to Lisbon and you're hungry, and/or if you're out for the night and need to eat something more sustancial to keep on going.

Funciona como restaurante e bar, mas eu fui só durante o dia. No almoço tem promoções muito boas, e com um preço excelente para para aquela região. Imagino que durante a noite o funcionamento do bar seja muito legal no estilo irlandês! O ambiente é espaçoso, com uma decoração com muita madeira, o que me agrada bastante.

Penso que a cotação se deve mais ao ambiente do que, propriamente, ao serviço ou ao nível de preços. Ruidoso, demorado, comida banal, carote... enfim, nada que nos faça querer muito voltar. Quanto a estacionar nas redondezas, nem pensar.

The service is messy. Employees are lost and go up and down the stairs for everything. This ultimately comes from poor floor management. (ex.: ketchup & mayo comes in small portions in small cups from the kitchen, it is not practical to eat and they could just have bottles upstairs instead of going up and down each time a customer wants some more).

Had a fun time here watching the Eurovision final. Staff all great and went out of their way to accommodate us. Sad to say met with some racist Northern Irish lads that put a downer on things and soured the memory of the night and this place.

Nice place where i have found my favorite beer kilkenny and where its still allowed to smoke. Though its not a smoky place and people are respectfull. In addition i did not have taken cocktails but saw the bartender make some and they seems really well made...i recommand.

Had a blast here on a recent trip to Lisbon! The bartenders are great for a bit of banter, and the clientele are super laid back and chatty. Located in one of the "happening" areas of Lisbon, so also a great stop on a pub crawl!

Der beste Kuchen den.ich seit langem gegessen habe...!! Und das hat bei mir was zu heißen. Für portugiesische Verhältnisse haben wir eine sehr geringe Wartezeit gehabt. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich und auch die Verständigung ging im Vergleich zu sonst sehr gut. Der affe war sehr gut und auch die tonic Variante war überraschenderweise sehr lecker. dafür das man direkt m Puls von Lissabon st ind ie Preise human. Wir hätten gerne noch richtig dort gegessen aber der Zeitplan hat dies leider nicht zugelassen.

Es un irish en Cais do Sodre, que está bien tanto para tomarse una guiness mientras se ven diferentes tipos de deportes en la TV, o también para cenar una hamburguesa (precio: sobre 10 euros). Esta frecuentado por una clientela mixta entre british que vienen por el deporte y locales que vienen por el ambiente. Tiene dos niveles y varias zonas con sofás cómodos. En horas punta puede ser déficil encontrar una mesa. Dato curioso : muchas de las camareras no hablan más que inglés, el cual es el idioma supremo en este sitio.

It's an Irish pub. If you really want to go to an Irish pub then go for it. The beer is expensive (London rather than Lisbon prices) and there are so many nicer cheaper bars in the area that I would avoid unless like us you had to meet people who were already there.

I really don't even understand how this place is so well rated. We waited an hour to get our 2 burgers, in a room not even full. People who arrived after we ordered were served first, and when we finally asked one of the totally absent waiters were they were we got them with not even an apology.
The Hennessy Burger was totally disgusting. We both couldn't eat it. The fries were frozen and super dry, and the salad ? How could I know we never saw our forks and knives. AVOID.

Un super bar, fumeur où l'on ne sent pas la fumée, et, en plus, sert des repas copieux, délicieux et à moindre prix ! L'ambiance est super sympa, ce qui ne gâche rien. Les serveuses et les serveurs sont tout simplement adorables et la musique est géniale. C'est tout simplement un bar génial où nous retournerons avec plaisir si nous revenons à Lisbonne !

Four times I was short changed in this pub. First time i gave €50 to pay for my pint and got €14 back. He apologized and then gave me €20, but I was still short by €10, so he apologized again gave me the €10. Twice I was given 50 cent pieces instead of €1. Smoking is allowed inside, which I didn't like at all. Won't be hurrying back there.
