blocked the deposit for one week but telling me that they unlocked it a week ago - no excuses but lies.
booked 200 eur from my credit card without any explanation, it was payed before. take care! don‘t book!

Car was very good, but they block money on your card, not mentioning that it will be unblocked in 5 days after you return the car and not suggesting to leave it cash. So you return the car and remain without €1.5k (may differ depending on the car, mine was Fiat 500X MT) for the rest of your trip. That's awful attitude that caused lots of problems.

DO NOT USE! Worst car hire place I've ever used, and I've hire cars regularly in many different cities. Here, they charge €2,100 deposit (blocked from your card) for a €30 car hire, and they take 3 days after returning the car to return your money. The only way around this, is to pay an extra €65 for 'full' insurance.
Then they added on €75 from my card in advance of me driving (without telling me) for petrol, and then still have not returned it to me yet, even after I brought the vehicle tank back full (two days ago).
This is not cheap car hire, it is a terrible business model that tries to fleece it's customers at every turn.

Foi obrigado a cancelar a reserva de um carro, devido a ter de pagar condutor adicional por ser só a minha esposa a viajar e o cartao de crédito estar em meu nome. Nem com comprovativo de banco e autorizacao minha conseguimos realizar o aluguer. Nunca usamos os servicos nem iremos num futuro próximo. Perderam um cliente.

Horrible experience while delivering back the car. Rude staff with zero knowledge of human relations.
Not coming back even for a free car rental.
Save your money and energy and rent somewhere else!

Worst experience ever concerning car rental: Got a defective car withou notice => "Repair not possible, your fault" => Replacement => Overall price doubled.
Don't rent a car here!

Nonostante le numerose recensioni negative io ho trovato il personale gentile. La macchina mi è stata consegnata in tempi ragionevoli spiegandomi dettagliatamente e con chiarezza le condizioni e le modalità di addebito sulla carta di credito. Alla riconsegna tutto bene e nell'arco di 3 giorni la franchigia e la quota della benzina bloccatami sulla carta mi è stata regolarmente sbloccata. Quindi per me tutto ok.

Check in process is unacceptable. Ticket machine was working half of the time. Some people got served based on their ticket number and others on the order of the line up. Secondly, the guy who gave me the car mentioned there was no damage to the car on his inspection report and luckily I checked the car and made him mark on his report that there were scratches. People check the car and inspection report before leaving with the car! Have to say that returning the car was hassle free.

Atendimento foi péssimo, falta de atenção e extremamente confuso quanto aos valores cobrados. Nos passaram um valor e, na hora de pagamento o valor foi outro! Não recomendo nem voltarei a alugar com essa cia.

Surprisingly good service! We rented a car in Porto and returned it in Lisbon. In a few minutes the car was checked and the paperwork was done. The employee even gave us great tips about Lisbon and the best places to go! Would definitely recommend this place.

This Thrifty branch shares Hertz's building. Even with a reservation, be prepared to wait for more than an hour to pick up your vehicle. The ticketing system is intriguing, and doesn't allow the customer to infer how long they'll have to wait.
Staff are as helpful as they can be, but dealing with customers takes time, and there simply aren't enough employees to process the sheer volume of peak-season customers. Arrive early, or bring a good book.
The vehicles themselves appear to be satisfactory, but the pickup process really sours the experience. As with all rental establishments, watch out for hidden fees!

Waiting for over 1,5 hour to be helped by the desk (handled by Hertz at Lisbon Airport). Car was pre-ordered. Don't go there. Desk staff 2 out of 4. " For complaints please contact the management" , which was of course not available. At least 10 people were terrified. Some left for an alternative.

Nous avons réservé sur le web, nous avons l'habitude. Récupération, aucun soucis. Même si nous avions rendez vous à midi, et avons attendu une bonne heure avant d'être pris en charge. Bref ! Lorsque nous avons rendu le véhicule : Surprise, la facture avait doublée ! En cause, l'assurance nous a été imposée sur les papier lors de la récupération du véhicule. En gros, allez ailleurs !

The worst ever service! After a nightmare 60 minute drive through the town to return the car to Hertz, we arrived at 18:02 and they were sitting at their desk but declined to accept the car and had us drive to the airport. What a nightmare! Especially Helder who was arrogant and not helpful. He made a pregnant lady go to the airport rather than opening the automated garage door and park the car, even after we begged... unacceptable!
