We felt really safe and enjoyed our trip very much. The lagoons and caves of the coast are lovely and our instructor was very patient and friendly. We absolutely recommend this trip!

It was my wife and I's first time SUP. Bruno was a very good instructor teaching us the basics on the beach before setting off. Though it was our first time, at the beginning we were told to hurry up and be quick which didn't help. However, after gaining a bit of confidence on the water we were able to keep up. The water was a little rough and there were many boats passing by which meant that standing up was harder to do on that particular day. Seeing the caves were amazing and Bruno knows his stuff. Bruno takes pictures during the tour which is a great bonus as we have photos to keep of our time SUP. I would recommend this tour by the Benagil caves.

We had the best time on our SUP tour with Bruno! It was by far the highlight of our time in the Algarve. Bruno is an excellent instructor. He makes you feel confident and comfortable on the water. Seeing all the different caves was a unique experience. Being on the paddle boards allowed us to access many areas of the cave that the boats can not. I would highly recommend this tour!

found this gem of a SUP experience by accident over trip advisor. you can join bruno with his van from the office in armacao or just meet at the beach of benagil, just a few driving minutes away. at first, bruno does the whole thing by himself as a one-man-operation. small groups (guess max 6 persons) will keep it private. bruno will firstly tell a bit about SUP on the beach. after that, and depending on water conditions and if you chose to go in the morning or evening, you will see around 5-8 caves. bruno is really eager about telling about the conditions of the caves, how they appeared near the sea and a bit of the sea fauna. if you are really lucky, you can spot some dolphins off the shore. but unfortunately, this is a bit unlikely as the motorboats around the caves might frighten them off. the highlight is (as expected) the famous cove of benagil. unless the tourist masses, you will go inside the cave and have a look around. bruno will tell you at least 10 wows about this cave, its environment, fossils and more. be prepared to get the best way to explore the caves around benagil. i feel a bit sorry for all the people just looking around their crammed boats, paying for a lazy trip. besides that, bruno may be one of the few people cleaning the cave from trash some douches leave behind. even though, SUP is much harder than expected (for first-timers) we are really happy to get to do this and recommend this over all the other ways getting into the water. AND: bruno will carry his gopro with him and send over pictures from the trip. 5 stars!

We had a group of 7 friends who booked this tour in advance and were very excited as we heard great things. Unfortunately, we were not even able to do the tour because of misinformation and terrible customer service. The owner stated he sent us an email with meeting instructions, we looked through our emails for hours and there was no email to be found. We called at least 10 times in advance, as we were unsure where to meet, and no one ever answered or bothered to call us back. When we wrote into the owner to explain the situation, his only reaction was to blame us and take no responsibility. Absolutely awful customer service, I would not recommend this tour to anyone.

There was a group of 7 of us who booked for the SUP Sunset Tour. We booked weeks in advance and we’re so excited for the tour. Unfortunately the tour never happened. We were never instructed where to meet and the company would not answer their phone. We tried over a dozen times to get in contact with the owner... drove to the meeting location AND the office location only to find no one was there... The owner did not answer our emails or calls and refuses to refund me my money for a tour we never got to do. They refuse to answer any more of my emails and the few initial emails the owner did respond to, he was extremely rude and made it sound like it was entirely our fault...We were looking forward to an awesome experience but unfortunately that was the furthest from what we received. In response to the owners response: We never received the “unknown” email he is stating he sent. I even checked my spam.. as well I had tried calling multiple times prior to the meeting time but there was no answer..

Exciting trip to the caves! The time is perfect, there are not too many people or boats roaming around. Bruno is a very good instructor, he shares lots of facts about the caves and he teaches you the basics of paddleboarding. I will definitely go back!
