It was a nice stay. Breakfast options could be better but it was ok. Omelette was nice. Loads of fresh fruit. The bar is nice. There's a nice burger place right next door which was very tasty. Room service was great.

Five star, just. The location is fantastic, with easy access from Faro and great views over the Ria Formosa and the marina. Service was good, welcoming and efficient - lacking the charm and hospitality we got at the Eva, Faro. We stayed in a suite, for the extra child's bed, and the suite was impressive. Massive amounts of space, nice decor and large balcony. Only complaint was the noise through the sliding balcony doors from the road and the noise through the adjoining room door from our vocal neighbour. The breakfast room isn't the most inviting space but fine. Cold breakfast spread was outstanding. Parts of the hot breakfast were poor - sausages, scrambled eggs, bacon. Would stay here again in a flash for the service and property but we're not going to get excited about the breakfast.

Ça fait plusieurs fois que je vais a cet établissement avec ma famille nous faisons toujours des soins qui sont très bien mais c'est au niveau du personnel que ça coince l année dernière nous étions dans la piscine et jacuzzi sans bonnet et cette année il fallait le bonnet va encore c est commercial et une fois acheté il y avait des enfants avec des parents sans bonnet Alors pour le principe j ai rayé l établissement de mon agenda dommage j habite olhão et nous aimions avec la famille aller aux soins

nous avons eu une très belle suite belle vue sur la mer et très spacieuse, mais le service d`étage pas au niveau que j espéraisLe mini bar nous avons consommé mais pas réapprovisionné le lendemain comme il se doit2 salles de bainsles douche pas nettoyées tous les jours pas de savon dans une pas de mouchoirs dans unele soir 1 jour sur 2 le petit chocolat était prévu sur le lit

Para repetir. Desde o check in ao check out. Fomos sempre tratados muito bem e com atenção ao detalhe. Muito arrumado e limpo. A Hamburgaria do hotel é fantastica. Pratos bem compostos. Visualmente agradáveis e o sabor ainda melhor. Muito bem servidos. E o preço é excelente tento em consideração a qualidade dos produtos servidos. Staff muito prestável e acolhedor.

Hotel muito confortável, silencioso. Para as estrelas que ostenta necessita de um pouco mais de TLC. Encontrei uma mancha na carpete no quarto 220. Os móveis já apresentam um pouco de desgaste. Tirando isso a limpeza é excelente, a piscina exterior muito agradável, a piscina interior pequena mas cumpre a função. O jacuzzi é um pouco estranho uma vez que a água sai pelo assento e não nas zonas das costas e pés como é normal. A sauna deixa um pouco a desejar em que não cria o ambiente normal (temperatura um pouco abaixo no espectável). Banho turco cinco estrelas. O ginásio com equipamentos suficientes, de boa qualidade e em bom estado. Garagem subterrânea muito segura. No geral gostei muito. Mas como digo para 5 estrelas espera-se um pouquinho mais...Fica a opinião.

This is one of a kind hotel. The layout is fantastic. The rooms are quite large and the bathroom are elegant. Breakfast is free and there is pool on the first floor. We here only one day and we didn't see all of the amenities.

Bel hôtel. Chambre plutôt spacieuse. Personnel agréable. Parking souterrain. Petit bémol sur l’insonorisation des chambres (mauvaise), la longue attente lors de notre arrivée (chambre prête uniquement à 15h40) et il est dommage que l’eau soit offerte uniquement le premier soir.

We stayed in this hotel over 5 nights in February. We loved it. Customer service, bar, breakfast, swimming pool rooms and the balcony, we love it. The location of the hotel is very nice as well, facing the sea, close to shops/restaurants. Choose this hotel to stay in and you won’t regret it

I don’t even know where to begin my review on this poor quality staff and service wannabe 5* hotel. First off this hotel is literally glued to a empty lot of slum housing with barking dogs all night. Don’t even try to call reception or speak with the manager because they have not even tried to help me. Telling me they cannot do anything!!!! Secondly, they oblige you to buy 3€ head caps in order swim in their tiny indoor pool. Which 5* hotel makes you pay for head caps? My kids came back from the pool crying from their eyes burning from the overuse of chlorine. I had severe headache and figured it was due to too much chlorine in the pool. Don’t forget one towel change per person per day is the rule in this 5* hotel. The reception can not get any ruder. If you think you will get your way and that the client is right and you will get service you can dream on. Not at this place. No service, no respect and worst personnel in this maybe 2* hotel. I have been to many 5* hotels and I have never, ever been treated rudely as from workers at reception. Manager included! They will always be right! Oh and lastly, get this..... they locked our rooms twice because owed them 12€ for 4 head caps for our kids!!!! Wow. They sent a letter and gave us till 1pm the next day to “ settle our account” hahhaha. They literally locked us out twice!!!! Find anywhere else to stay!

Horrible ! Aucun prestige, ne mérite pas ses 5 étoiles ! 2 tout au plus ! L’impression d’être dans une résidence étudiante mal insonorisée. Un groupe très nombreux était présent en même temps, aucune tenue les enfants courraient partout dans les couloirs jusque tard dans la nuit ce qui nous a empêché de dormir puisque c’est très mal isolé. Ils ont occupé toute la piscine intérieure en faisant un bruit infernal, ça crie partout dans le hall dans les couloirs. Aucun respect et il n’est pas normal que le personnel ne les remette pas en place. Pour la chambre elle n’était pas très propre la moquette puait et était tachée. j’aurai préferé dormir dans la salle de bain! La télé toute petite. Le petit déjeuner est convenable. En partant, on ne nous a même pas demandé comment s’était passé notre séjour. Et bien c’était horrible !!!!!! Je le déconseille !! Vraiment rien d’un 5 étoiles c’est abusé. Passez votre chemin il y a beaucoup mieux et moins cher au Portugal.

Very good. People very helpful and friendly. Only 2 things 1 the fridge in the room was warm and did not know how to sort it. It would be nice for the restaurants and bars to be on the first floor so you could look out over the marina as you had lunch and dinner and breakfast too. I will be back. The Portuguese lessons on Wednesday were great.

Nao é a primeira vez que me alojo neste hotel. Tem vindo a piorar desde a primeira vez. Desta ultima vez não gostei. Tinha reserva para 2 pessoas, só tinha no quarto um jogo de toalhas. Não tinha chinelos de quarto(foi-me dito que roupões e chinelos só disponibilizavam com pedido), tenho frequentado alguns hotéis de 4 e 5 estrelas e nunca tal me aconteceu. No segundo dia, o quarto foi disponibilizado limpo por volta das 17h,depois de ter pedido na recepção a sua limpeza às 14h.A cama pessimamente feita. O balde do lixo da casa de banho não foi despejado. As toalhas mal dobradas. Para uma classificação de 5 estrelas, a secção de limpeza nos quartos não condiz. Quanto à apreciação geral e positiva. Serviço de pequeno almoço muito bom. Simpatia do pessoal e da recepção. Assim,lamento mas não conto voltar.

Tudo neste hotel é 5 estrelas, desde o conforto do quarto, passando pelas refeições, de realçar o brunch ao domingo que é divinal e não esquecendo a amabilidade, simpatia, disponibilidade e bom profissionalismo dos colaboradores. Fiquei agradavelmente surpreendida e com muita vontade de regressar! ❤️ Fomos em família com 2 bebés de 4 meses e uma criança de 3 anos e o conforto sentido foi sem dúvida dos melhores.

Estive hospedado uma semana neste hotel que o qualifico de **** e não de *****, deram-me um quarto no 1. andar, quarto 109 que fica virado para as traseiras da cozinha, so se ouve rodados de caixotes do lixo para cima e para baixo na rampa de ferro, as ventoinhas enormes das maquinas de ar condiciondo do hotel, enfim só barulho. Foi pedido para mudar de quarto, mas nada. Os colchões das duas camas do quarto tinham as molas partidas, o que safou nesta estadia foi o pequeno almoço.

Locatie is heel mooi. Prijs-kwaliteit is goed en heel aardig personeel. Lekker ontbijt. Zwembad van binnen en buiten is heel groot en schoon. Prachtig groot balkon met uitzicht. Wij komen zeker terug ! Wel jammer dat het huishouding kwam pas na 15.00 dan zitten we aan het werken.

Outstanding value for the money, cannot recommend enough this place if you are staying in the area. Room was spacious, clean and well decorated. Breakfast was also really good. I'm not a fan of buffet style breakfast, but this one was definitely worth it with a great variety and really nice staff.

We had a weeks stay here between 11th of December and the 18th of December. It was very quiet in the hotel due to it being off season but the staff and the venue were wonderful and accomdating, bringing us a kettle to the room at our request and also unlocking the tv to allow us to plug an HDMI port in. All the staff were fantastically accommodating, polite and courteous at all times. The spa staff were also excellent. The breakfast buffet was vast including sparkling wine and cakes along with everything else you'd expect. The hotel was clean and well maintained, with very minor flaws like the where the carpet is joined in the corridors (the trucks the housekeepers use aren't good on joins) and a few of the toilet cubicle locks being broken but these are such minor issues compared to how welcoming and presentable the hotel is in general. The only slight negative was on a Friday a local bar would play music very loud and very late which may be an issue for some guests but didn't affect our stay in the slightest. If I could rate them higher than 5 stars I would.

Enttäuschung! Wir haben schon in 5 Sterne Häusern auf allen Kontinenten erleben dürfen. Das Real Marina und Spa zählt meiner Meinung nicht dazu! Das Haus liegt zwar nah am Hafen aber dazwischen verläuft eine 4 spurige Hauptstraße! Die Zimmer sind zwar geräumig und grundsätzlich sauber aber alles in allem ist das Haus leider ziemlich abgewohnt und vermittelt kein Stück das Gefühl in einem Luxus Hotel zu sein. Das beginnt mit einem zerlöcherten Teppich am Eingang, überlastet Mitarbeitern an der Rezeption und endet bei einer sehr dunklen und herunter bewirtschafteten Einrichtung in vielen Bereichen. Im Speisesaal existiert kein Tisch und Stuhl der nicht schon viele Gebrauchsspuren hat. Kaffee und Tee kommt in fleckigen, undichten Thermoskannen. Wir waren 1 Woche dort und das Frühstücks-Buffet war im Grunde immer das gleiche. Die angebotene Wurst und Käse waren oft mit Trockenrändern..... Ein NO GO! Entsprechende Reklamationen waren nur temporär von Erfolg. Auf den Fluren wölbt sich zum Teil der Teppich hoch und ist eine Unfallquelle. Tapete löst sich von den Wänden (siehe Bilder) Pool ist sauber aber klein. Lob geht an die Mitarbeiter der Reinigung die sehr fleissig sind. Spa Bereich ist grundsätzlich in Ordnung mit gut ausgestatteten Fitnessraum. Die angebotenen Anwendungen sind ok aber preislich überhöht. Wir sind vom Real und Marina sehr enttäuscht und werden auf keinen Fall wiederkommen!

Um hotel espectacular de Verão ou mesmo de inverno. A suite é enorme e muito asseada, a zona do quarto tem imensa luz natural, perfeito para observar um nascer ou pôr do sol. Pode apanhar sol na varanda ou trabalhar na sala. O hotel dispõe de piscina interior aquecida e exterior também. No spa sugiro a massagem de pedras quentes pois o ambiente é super relaxante. O ginásio é bem equipado. E se possivel experimente o jantar do Chef, as bochechas de porco são divinais. Parabéns a todo o o staff.

Não atende o proposto. Logo no início, nos colocaram em um "apartamento" que era FORA do hotel e SEM controle de acesso nenhum, prédio e estacionamento ABERTOS. No almoço, FALTOU comida e eles nos disseram que era NOSSO PROBLEMA! Comida ruim, atendentes DESPREPARADOS e sem NENHUMA hospitalidade... NÃO recomendo.

Freundlicher Empfang. Großzügig gestalteter Spa-Bereich. Für ein 5 Sterne Hotel ist das Frühstück nicht abwechslungsreich genug. Die Bar ist wenig intim. Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze vor dem Haus. Die Zimmer sind wie auch andere es beschrieben haben, großzügig, sauber und hell. Was mir besonders gut gefallen hat, zum Geburtstag gab es eine Flasche Sekt und einen kleinen Kuchen, serviert auf das Zimmer. Insgesamt ist das Personal offen und freundlich. Das Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig. Wir haben uns in dem Hotel wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Einzig, das kann ich mir nicht verkneifen, störte mich manchmal das Publikum. Es gibt Gäste, wie auch in anderen Hotels, die schon am Buffet trinken und essen, es nicht abwarten können am Tisch zu frühstücken.

Un hotel en plan 5 estrellas....pero no, un robo de 5 estrellas...si. No me importa pagar por un menú q merezca la pena, en este caso sopa y pollo disfrazado, no deja de ser sopa y pollo a la brasa, 4€ el agua de 75cl de supermercado q no vale mas de 1€.A favor el trato del personal amable y correcto en todo momemto.Habitaciones correctas sin mas, nada excepcional a destacar de ellas. El desayuno tipo buffet lo mejor, te traen a la mesa tortilla y huevos recién hechos. El spa...un timo, cualquier piscina interior con dos burbujas resulta q es spa, el gimnasio compartido con gente de la calle, a según q horas abarrotado. En resumen, un hotel de 5 estrellas en portugal es de 3/4 en portugal, pero el precio de 5.

Great stay. Was only for a night, but it was our wedding and they set up a nice rose petal trail from the door to the bed and in the bathroom. Also has a great view from the pool. Rooms were very clean and the suites are spacious. They even kept our cake until the next day when we checked out and they kept our luggage when we checked out of the hotel.

El hotel es confortable, con servicios excelentes como el parking subterráneo gratuito, el gimnasio el desayuno y con un personal muy amable, siempre pendiente de agradar. La piscina interior está bien, aunque venden como SPA una simple zona de chorros de agua.Pero por otro lado, tiene muchas carencias que le hacen no merecedor de las 5 estrellas. El buffet de la cena es muy escaso para la media pensión. Además de escaso, la calidad no va acorde con la categoría. Te permiten cambiar un día la cena por comida y salimos bastante decepcionados con la comida. Tardamos casi 2 horas en comer y la calidad de la carne era regular.La piscina es algo pequeña, pero es peor el estado del suelo alrededor de la misma. Son bloques de rasillón que están muchos de ellos rotos y suponen un peligro de corte.El servicio de habitaciones está bien, aunque a la moqueta de la habitación le haría falta algo más que una limpieza con la aspiradora.Y los precios de la bebida son caros. 4€ una cerveza o una botella de agua de 75cl. son precios bastante elevados para la zona.

We stayed for 5 nights in this hotel. Staff was friendly and took our bags to the room and parked our car. We loved the room! Big, modern, nice colors, clean. It has a good confortable bed. The bathroom looks amazing, big enough and elegant. The outside pool was very nice, view over the port beautiful. The hotel is ideal for families with children. It has a kids room, not proper for our 9 years old boy, but for litte children. Breakfast was very good, though i expected more for a 5 stars hotel. Staff is friendly. Though it happened that the housemaid came to clean the room, while i was in the bathroom, which i find unprofessional! Awful internet in the room, for a 5 stars hotel it is unacceptable!

Rooms were excellent with a luxurious bathroom. The buffet breakfast was also excellent. The evening buffet though wasn't so good. Originally I was disappointed with the location but that was before I ventured into the town of Olhau. The town itself is not pretty but has a charm all of its own. It is the main fishing port for the Algarve and has many wonderful fish and seafood restaurants serving up the days catch all at very cheap prices. There are also ferries out to the beautiful secluded islands of Farol, Armona and Cutilado. These Islands are about 20 mins away, the vast stretches of empty white sandy beaches will take your breath away. It is like being on your own private desert island.

Excellent hotel overall.Helpful Staff in all areas . Loos nearest pool out of action during whole stay . Other loos in public areas very clean . Thoroughly enjoyed my week long stay at the Real Marina. The room was lovely, spacious, clean, large balcony. The food at the hotel was amazing; great breakfast, huge selection of food and amazing coffee (I was wired the whole time I was there!), room service one evening after a very long tiring day aaa delicious and quick, and finally the restaurant although a bit pricey was most definitely worth it. The facilities at the hotel were great, loads of sun beds around the pool and the option to order from the sunbed, the spa was an amazing experience, we chose the couples full body massage, 1 hour, front and back at €110, and we was not disappointed. We spent a few days getting the boat to Farol island (tickets were purchased in the hotel and the boat docked over the road) which was stunning, sceneic and so much fun yet relaxing. All in all one of the best holidays I’ve had yet! We are a couple of late 20s and there were a lot of older couples and very few families (maybe it’s the time of year?) however they seemed well facilitated for all ages/families.

Good value half price deal, in quiet Olhao. Outdoor pool. Busy, but not noisy, hotel. Could use some light maintenance, cracked hairdryer in room. And updating, hallway carpets fraying. Muito aquém para uma classificação de 5 estrelas. Chegamos mais cedo por termos agendado spa e mesmo assim só disponibilizaram o quarto às 14h. Enquanto aguardavamos na sala de espera, foram aspirar as carpetes, não garantindo o sossego que se espera num espaço destes. As carpetes dos corredores cheias de nódoas não dão o melhor aspecto. Os quartos não tinham chá disponível, só pedindo ao bar e pagando, o que não considero habitual num hotel de 5 estrelas. Tirando isso, óptimo pequeno almoço. O Spa é altamente recomendado e foi a melhor experiência do hotel, onde desfrutamos de um dia de relaxamento. Espero que possam melhorar pois sem dúvida estão numa óptima localização e tem condições para ser top! Bom trabalho.

El hotel muy bien, hicimos una reserva de habitación con vistas a la ciudad y por ser a través de internet, automáticamente te hacen un upgrade y nos dieron habitación con vistas al mar. As bebidas estão incluídas o que é bom .Os salgados fritos e deveriam de ser fritos perto da hora de serem servidos...as carnes como as costeletas de carneiro ou outras carnes que possam vir a servir no futuro, tb deveriam ser feitas na hora. Tipo as massas que são preparadas na hora. A reposição deveria de ser feita com maior regularidade. No geral estes são pormenores que devem ser melhorados. Devido á enorme variedade, e de haver coisas boas, merece uma boa nota. O Espumante merece uma nota alta.

Overall experience was good, employees were very friendly and helpful but I was very dissapointed about breakfast food quality as omelet was very watery and sausages didn't have any taste at all. However coffee was great and variety of dessert options. I think food quality (breakfast especially) should be improved as this is a 5 star hotel.

Great location. A good range of breakfast items. Bed very comfortable. Very good sized hotel room and we paid a little extra for a balcony and sea view. A few minutes walk from the marina and a variety of boat trips. A few minutes walk from a range of outdoor gym equipment which was used by young and old. Great location for bars and restaurants. Only disappointment was there was no complimentary tea and coffee in room. That was a first for me.

Stayed here for 5 days and loved everything about it from the staff, food, hotel etc. Our room was overlooking the pool and harbour so views were spectacular especially at sunset.Nice and flat for walking with enough shops to enjoy. Plenty restaurants along the front but food in hotel was reasonable and tasty. Trains and buses nearby but don’t go to Albuferia by train as it’s miles from the centre and beach and quite hilly. Wishing we had booked for longer and can’t wait to return. You will LOVE it so enjoy!

Great location and lovely and clean but there is no way it is a 5Star UK rating more like 3.5/4 Star. It is a bit tired now and the wooden boards around the pool are all needing replaced as they have just done a patch up job and it is really uneven and unsightly looking. They also need padded covers for the sunbeds as they are so un-comfy! There is a ridge that digs in to your back no matter what height you are! I heard other guests say they couldnt get comfy either! We also had a room with an interconnecting door and we could literally hear the guests next door cleaning their teeth and the toilet flush as well as every word they had to say. Not good when they were up at the crack of dawn packing for their flight home. Every time they opened their front door the interconnecting door rattled badly and the light from their room streamed in at 5.30am too. Not ideal when we were away for only 4 nights and couldnt be moved until two days later. No apology whatsoever from the young chap on reception although the lovely girl that checked us out did apologise for it spoiling our stay. All in all though it was a good break but not sure we would return unless it was better value for money. No activities by the pool and breakfast was definitely not 5 Star! Took a while to be shown to a table and things often ran out and werent replaced for ages. There is also not a bar that you can enjoy sitting outside out. Just a small sports type bar with no atmosphere and hardly anyone in it.

Fique em regime de apart hotel, nos apartamentos junto ao hotel com vista sobre a Marina.
O apartamento estava todo ele muito bem equipado, a cozinha possuía todos os equipamentos necessários para ser considerada auto-suficiente (máquina de lavar loiça, forno, chaleira elétrica, máquina de café, fogão de indução...). A cama era super confortável! O apartamento também possui um sistema de aspiração central, o que facilita a sua limpeza. No entanto, se estiver no regime de apart hotel, apenas possuirá limpeza providenciada pelos serviços de limpeza do hotel uma vez por semana (pelo que as toalhas de banho também só serão trocadas 1 vez em 8 dias).
Cada bloco de apartamentos possui uma pequena piscina no telhado, com vista panorâmica sobre a marina, absolutamente fantástica!
Os apartamentos prezam também por possuírem uma excelente localização, mesmo em frente à marina, a cerca de 10-15 minutos a pé do mercado de Olhão (onde é possível comprar peixe, marisco e fruta fresca), e do centro da cidade de Olhão.
À noite é possível passear pela marina ou comer uma deliciosa sobremesa numa creparia localizada no terrraço, mesmo ao lado dos apartamentos.
O hotel também dispõe de facilidades de acesso às ilhas da Culatra, Farol, Armona e Deserta. No entanto, também é possível apanhar o ferry, localizado a cerca de 15 minutos a pé dos apartamentos, mas apenas com acesso às ilhas da Culatra, Farol e Armona e obviamente mais demorado e com muita mais gente.

Arrived at 1pm and waited 3 hours for our room to be ready, no one came and got us when it was ready and we were charged 60 euros for 4 drinks we had whilst we were waiting in the heat of midday. Booked a taxi one of the days and told by reception it would be 35 euros. We were then taken to the wrong destination and charged 54 euros. After arguing with the hotel that is was not their fault they then proceeded to tell me they had made the mistake and gave us a free drink (of any selection) then when taking this voucher to the bar I was told I couldn't use it and had to again wait for confirmation that I could, embarrassing and unnecessary. They have shown little care for us and our holiday without help in a fairly remote area. Drinks are over priced and food at the bar is poor. I would avoid, especially families or people who want to do anything outside of the hotel on their holiday.

Tolle Hotelanlage...Aber leider wenig Bepflanzung. Geht man 10 Meter Richtung Parkplatz wird man gleich mit Strasse und ödem Besuchs überfallen. Bei den Temperaturen (bis teilweise 45 ° Grad im Schatten) ist das natürlich nicht zu ändern.

Hotel e serviço Top Excelente localização Restaurante com panorama com vista para a Ria Formosa. Por vezes musica ao vivo, live grill comida saborosa. Um hotel sem duvida nenhuma dos que se pode e devem aconselhar a toda a família e amigos. Tem tambem lados negativos Como por exemplo a piscina e o chão de madeira em redor. A zona do grelhador devia estar longe das varandas dos quartos naquela area e o acesso à zona indoor da piscina esta mal especificado no site. O uso de toucas para todos os clientes penso ser um pouco de mais pagar para usar touca e usufruir somente alguns minutos do serviço. Abraço a todos os colaboradores(Cozinha Bar) bom trabalho.

Hotel de 5 estrellas bien situado en la avenida primero de Olhao y enfrente del embarcadero. Las habitaciones son muy espaciosas al igual que el baño. Tuve la suerte de que me tocara la mejor habitación de las que no tienen vistas a la ría y tenía unas vistas y una terraza espectacular. Las instalaciones del hotel están muy bien el spa es muy normalito pero el gimnasio está muy bien. La piscina exterior tenía unas vistas fantásticas. El desayuno era digno de un hotel de su categoría. El personal muy amable sobretodo el mozo de maletas que me las subió a la habitación mientras nosotros estábamos de paseo.

This hotel is not as good as I remember it, our experience around the pool has been extremely disappointing. Too many people from the apartment's next to the hotel, not enough sun lounges and umbrellas and selfish people playing their own music, without any staff challenging them.... Five star? I don't think so.

Não é decididamente um 5*. Camas horríveis - e quando se dorme mal e se fica com dores nas costa... tudo corre mal. Uma piscina sem capacidade para o hotel, quartos minúsculos, sem sequer ter um sofá onde sentar, varanda do quarto onde não há uma mesa onde se pouse uma bebida, e o pior. Às 18 h, fazem barbecue no restaurante al fresco sob as varandas e queimam acendalhas para o churrasco, libertando para os quartos, gás toxico e insuportavel.

The only hotel on the 'front' . 5 star, some luxurious bedrooms, buffet breakfasts superb. Buffet dinner plentiful but there are very many great restaurants to choose from all within 100-400 metres. Have stayed many times in the Real Marina apartments next to hotel. Spacious, modern luxury.

When we arrived at the hotel and checked in..we were told that our room wasn't ready..,not a good start..other holiday makers rooms were ready..so we had to wander around until we received the phone call to say we could go to our room..never received it..so we made our own way back to the hotel and bingo..it was ready..a little disgruntled..but hey ho!!..enjoyed the rest of the day..went down to breakfast the following morning (buffet style) and picked what I wanted to eat..sat down..stone cold..looked at the hot plates..and they were not even plugged in..great..needless to say..we didnt have breakfast for the rest of the stay..and...there was no chef cooking fresh eggs or omelettes etc..never stayed in a hotel where they didn't have a chef cooking..

Bad experience from start, some staff were nice and friendly a lot could not understand our requests menu at bar & restaurant not a lot of choice and same every day our first stay here (also our last) not welcoming not much advise or details given booked a table at restaurant and it was a buffet it was cold and boring (were not informed) staff very disorganised and flapping around took a very long time to clear our table. Not a pleasant experience at all couldn't wait to go home how this got 5* is beyond me. We are not stuck up or anything but we have stayed and experienced 5* hotels so this was a huge let down. I've also stayed in better 3* hotels hence why I gave this 2* oh also the pool area is an accident waiting to happen all the decking around the pool is damaged it's a death trap avoid stay anywhere else not here.

The hotel is right on the seafront with a nice view of the marina. We stayed in the apartment complex annexed by the hotel. Rooms were clean, spacious and well fitted. Staff friendly and professional. Breakfast was diverse with a range of hot, cold and sweet options ( and champagne!)

Tive oportunidade de visitar este hotel dado que fui às segundas jornadas do ABC e fiquei bastante surpreendida com o espaço dado que é super requintado e muito bonito. É, sem dúvida ida, um espaço que recomendo para a realização de eventos pois as condições são excelentes. Em acréscimo, a comida é excelente e com bastante variedade e o hotel fica perto do centro da cidade, com diversos restaurantes, bares e a praia ao redor.
