Hotel muy bien ubicado, buena decoración, buenas vistas!! entramos a comer algo, la carta muy cara y la comida no muy buena, además de muy poquita... platos muy pequeños y muy caros! La atención si que excelente!

Das Standardzimmer hatte nicht die Klasse für ein 5* Hotel, Bett zu klein, kleines Bad mit nur einem kleinem Waschbecken, die Bade- bzw, Duschwanne war schon was älter. Nur mäßige Abtrennung auf der Wanne wodurch Wasser auf den Boden des Bades gelangt.Leider war der Außenpool ohne Wasser, die wenigen vorhandenen Liegen luden nicht gerade zum Entspannen ein. Frühstück war für ein 5* Hotel etwas dürftig.Hervorzuheben ist jedoch die einmalige Lage oberhalb vom Meer und der Ausblick im Frühstücksraum.

Sempre foi um dos meus bares de eleição, bem situado óptima esplanada virada para o mar. Boa relação qualidade preço. Mas na minha última visita tudo estava diferente , para pior o serviço altamente desajustado para os preços praticados. Despois de vinte e nove minutos de espera , trouxeram as bebidas pedidas mas sem a qualidade a que estávamos habituados, tentámos mostrar o nosso desagrado ao empregado que nos atendeu, mas sem sucesso pois este não falava nem percebia português e também não chamou alguém que o fizesse. Tivemos nós que fazer a devolução das bebidas e explicar a situação. Resumindo a única coisa positiva deste espaço foi o sol que apanhamos na esplanada, mas para apanhar sol não é preciso ir a um hotel de cinco estrelas. Não recomendo.

Como frequentadora habitual do bar do hotel , tenho assistido a um atendimento e espaço em decadência pouco apropriado para um hotel de cinco estrelas. Nesta última visita (provavelmente será mesmo a última ) encontrámos a piscina em obras, as mesas e cadeiras da esplanada completamente imundas e o atendimento péssimo, estou à vinte cinco minutos à espera das bebidas e o empregado nem consegue falar ou perceber português . Resumindo um hotel de cinco estrelas, um espaço sujo pior que algumas pensões de baixa categoria e um serviço sem avaliação possível porque vinte cinco minutos de espera e não perceberem português em Portugal. Não recomendo e ainda desaconselho.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen, direkt am Meer. Auch ist es schön eingerichtet, allerdings sind die Zimmer schon etwas zerwohnt. Das Frühstück ist gut, das Personal war äußerst zuvorkommend und nett. Was uns sehr verwundert hat ist, dass die Nespresso Kapseln auf dem Zimmer jeweils mit einem Euro berechnet wurden.

A minha mulher fazia anos e pedi para colocarem no quarto um bolo e uma garrafa de Champanhe. Conseguiram estragar tudo.

Never stayed there for a night, just visited it to have some coffee. The place is really awesome. The view from there to the ocean is fantastic. The prices are quite high, around 280€ for a night. Anyway, it’s worth attention

Muito triste muito desapontado com as condições do hotel uma pessima escolha da minha parte o staff é simpático mas por noite quase 500 euros, no meu ver acho elevado para as condição do quarto em si, aluguei a suite com jacuzzi no entanto torneiras danificadas varão do chuveiro solto sem contar com o pó que tinha no quarto que tive que pedir ao rececionista que mandasse alguem dar um “geitinho“ já fiquei em varios hoteis bem mais baratos e muito melhores paisagem linda

Wir hatten ehrlich gesagt von einem 5* Hotel mehr erwartet. Es ist schön direkt am Meer gelegen, sowie auch die Räume mit der ausgestellten Kunst haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Frühstück sowie das Abendessen waren sehr gut. Das Hotel braucht jedoch mehr Pflege und auch die Herzlichkeit und zuvorkommende Art der Portugiesen haben wir beim Personal leider etwas vermisst.

Really nice property, very friendly staff, pretty interior, however, the rooms are a gamble. You might get an older room that needs some upgrades or you could end up with a cool room with a beautiful view! It's rated a top 5 on Trip Advisor, I just wonder if I'm missing something?

Smart hotel in an excellent location overlooking the Atlantic - best place to relax over a good breakfast to decide on what to do that day. Staff were super helpful and kind. Close enough to Lisbon to enjoy the bustle but far enough away to feel serene. The drive north along the coast from Cascais passes some great beaches.

Das Hotel befindet sich in einer alten Villa in hervorragender Lage direkt am Meer. Wir hatten ein normales DZ, welches ausreichend gross und ruhig war. Andere Zimmer sind tlw. wohl etwas laut durch Lüftungen oä., wie wir mitbekommen haben. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist klein, aber fein. Im Bad stehen Ritualsprodukte

Hotel is in a brilliant location for views of the ocean from breakfast room, restaurant, pool area. Our budget didnt stretch to a room with an ocean view unfortunately! Lovely breakfast (bubbles included.) We were surprised, however, that the charge to use the Nespresso machine in the bedroom was €1 per pod. Really did not expect this from a five star hotel. Cascais is a fantastic place and feels very safe at any time of the night. An easy train journey from there gets you into Lisbon

Nach den ganzen Top Bewertungen war ich voller Vorfreude und wurde bitter enttäuscht. Ich kritisiere auf hohem Niveau, aber wir reden immerhin von 5 Sternen...
Die Lage ist ein Traum, die Anlage schön gemacht.
Meine Bitte nach einem ruhigen Zimmer, weil Triathlet mit anstehendem Wettkampf dabei: 3. Stock zur Straße und 3 Abzugskamine (liefen von ca. 6.30 h bis 23.20 h) neben dem Fenster.
An der Pool Bar wurde man erst nach langer Wartezeit nach etwaigen Wünschen gefragt. Die Getränkekarte war nur sehr schlecht lesbar, weil das meiste im Mittelfalz verschwand. Diverse Espressos und Capuccinos wurde öfter gemacht, weil sie zu lange an der Theke standen und inzwischen kalt waren.
Frühstück: solala, komplett Buffet (Inkl. Kaffee aus einer (immerhin) Nespresso Maschine und damit gut), Auswahl äußerst übersichtlich, die 4 Kellner (Tische abräumen, neu eindecken & Buffet auffüllen) waren offensichtlich überlastet ;-)
Sushi Restaurant: Wunderbar, toller Service, tolles Essen. Hier sind die Sterne verdient.
Mix Restaurant: Hier ging ein Hauptgang komplett zurück, selten so ein mies gemachtes, zähes Rind vorgesetzt bekommen.
Zimmer: nett gemacht, Dusche grandios, Kosmetikartikel von Rituals (!) und damit waren sie nicht geizig, Sauberkeit - na ja, Instandhaltung - schrecklich -> Bei uns hing ein Sonnenvorhang vom Fenster herunter, den wir täglich mit dem Regenschirm wieder andrücken mußten - das hat im Hotel niemanden interessiert.
Fazit: Außen hui...

A beautiful design hotel by the sea. They host many exhibitions, which makes the place even nicer! A good option if you visit Cascais and are looking for a nice place to relax and drink something as the bar and restaurant are open to the public.

Just outside of the town (10-15 minute walk to the centre) - lovely hotel with great pool and views. We ate dinner in the restaurant once (very good). Excellent breakfast as well.

A great location and a beautiful poolside area and bar. Breakfast was 5* overlooking the sea. It’s a great hotel but there were a few things that let it down - charging for coffee in the rooms, charging for hiring bikes from the hotel, one day our toilet paper and toiletries weren’t replenished, we asked the hotel to book a restaurant for us and then never heard the outcome, Poolside and location were it’s main plus points.

Péssima experiência! Restaurante muito fraco! Casa de banho inundou completamente. Quando reclamei disseram-me para não tomar banho com a pressão máxima porque inundava!!! Estadia caríssimo para o hotel que é, que não corresponde nem de perto nem de longe a um 5 estrelas! Todos os funcionários estávam visivelmente tensos. Durante a nossa estadia assistimos a vários reclamações de hóspedes. A localização é fabulosa. É o único elogio que infelizmente é possível fazer. Pelo preço que paguei, quase 600€ por uma noite é um jantar, sinto-me claramente prejudicada

Très bon accueil avec magnifique vue mer. Chambres petites avec une salle deau plutôt étroite mais lensemble dun confort certain. Excellent petit déjeuner vue mer. Une certaine ambiance le soir très agréable, moderne et même chic et jeune mais du coup légèrement bruyant. Demander des chambres au calme et éviter celles au-dessus du restaurant.excellent emplacement entre le village et la route des plus belles plages.

Loved to be there at the bar!, Loved the cocktails and to be there. Excellent terrace with view over the swimming pool and sea. The interior has also an original decoration, cosy but spaceous/not crowded. Everybody may not fit in there, though. At 22:30pm the best seats were already taken, although that was a day with bad weather.

Impossible to sleep on first night: right by the elevator shaft (very slow but also very loud elevator...) + constant radiator background noise although the AC was turned off...Staff was kind enough to move us room but alternative was next to the staff room which had traffic late at night and early in the morning.

Um óptimo hotel, bastante bem localizado junto a baia de cascais. Tem uma vista deslumbrante sobre o mar. Por dentro e muito bonito mesmo. Bastante requintado e muito acolhedor. Nas traseiras do hotel e possível usufruir de uma vista lindíssima sobre o mar enquanto bebe um cocktail. Em tempos foi uma grande discoteca com grande Nome de coconuts.

absolutely everything here was so perfect that it is hard to write more than that..we will go back here and stay a month if we need to recuperate...unreal and the area was marvellous .we loved it all so much and walked along the small road and its wide sidewalk and had the waves coming up so high..all one wants to do is just look and not move.

Die Lage und das Hotel selbst sind sehr schön. Unser Zimmer im Dachgeschoss mit Aussicht auf die Marina (und den Parkplatz - nicht Garten wie in der Beschreibung!) war ausreichend groß. Eine bessere Beleuchtung (z. B. zum Lesen) wäre sinnvoll gewesen. Die Betten hatten sehr gute Matratzen. Das Bad war geräumig mit großer Dusche - Kombi Massage-Regen-Dusche. Einfach super! Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und gut. Bis auf den Verpackungsmüll am Kaffeeautomaten wurde auch auf den Umweltaspekt geachtet. Z.B. Marmelade in großen verschließbaren Gläsern angeboten. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals wirkte etwas übertrieben und steif. Der Poolbereich konnte während 3 Tagen Aufenthalt einen Nachmittag (Vorbereitungen Sunsetparty) und einen Vormittag (Film-/Werbeaufnahmen) nicht genutzt werden. Die Gäste wurde vom Filmteam von den Liegen vertrieben, obwohl erst mit den Vorbereitungen für die Aufnahmen begonnen wurde. Kein Gast hätte dabei gestört. Ein absolutes No Go!!

El hotel es tranquilo y está bien situado. Sin embargo la relación calidad precio es muy baja. Habitaciones pequeñas y mal dotadas impropias de un hotel de cinco estrellas. Desayunos poco variados que no corresponde a un establecimiento de este nivel. Precios abusivos para cualquier bebida o snack..

We have a lovely stay and enjoyed the location and and how serene it was. The restaurants were delicious as well and all staff very friendly. The only complaint is that it seems a bit run down in the room. And couple use touch ups. They used some sort of air freshener everyday that was not natural so I’d wished they hadn’t. Surrounding gardens and outside were beautiful. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic boutique design hotel on the edge of the town center. The Farol sits on top of a cliff and is haven of calm and cool personified. The common areas are full of edgy art pieces and the rooms have a contemporary modern look and feel.
From a servuce point of view the staff always available and at hand to manage any request. From location point of view you are positioned at less than 5 mins from the city center. Close enough to come in easily but far enough if you want your piece of calm. Definitely worth a detour

The pool bar's service is terrible, we ordered 3 cocktails, but after 30 mins they still didn't start to prepare for it! And the bar is not busy at all, almost empty.

Tolles Hotel, direkt am Meer gelegen, in Sichtweite des Leuchtturms. Das Gebäude strahlt von aussen britischen Seebadcharme aus. Innen ist es modern und stylisch. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl in demgemütlichem kleinen Hotel.Mit Meeresrauschen und einerSicht, einfach der Hammer Es liegt direkt am Meer auf einerKlippe. Leider war der Poolbereichnoch geschlossen und kein Wasser Im Pool, sieht deshalb nicht so schön aus. Aber Liegematratzen auf demRasenstück waren vorhanden.Sehr gemütlich. Waren auch etwas früh in Portugal ( Mitte April)Nach Cascais sind es zu Fuß 10-15 Min. Aber gut zu gehen. Nach der anderen Seite kann man lange laufen oder auchmit dem Fahrrad fahren. Die Fahrradwege sind sehr gut. Die Räder kann mandirekt im Hotel bekommen.Wir würden dieses Hotel jederzeit wiederbuchen.

I loved the experience. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I chose a room with jacuzzi and the equipment was not functioning properly. I think that when you pay over 500 euros for a room for one night everything has to be spot on, simlly perfect. Breakfast is great and the sushi is out of this world. You sould definitely try it and ask for a room with a seaview!

What a beautiful hotel! Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice and clean rooms with lovely beds. We enjoyed a wonderful massage on the rocks and had lunch in the sushi restaurant and dinner in The Mix. Both are absolutely recommendable!
The pool area is lovely, the view amazing and the Cascais shops are walking distance away. We will celebrate our next anniversary here again! Thanks for the lovely surprise in our room!

Hotel de diseño con espectaculares vistas al mar. Algo alejado del centro de la ciudad pero se puede ir caminando sin problemas. Decoración moderna (mucho blanco y negro con algunos muebles particulares). La decoración de la habitación me pareció un poco oscura para mi gusto. La atención del personal es excelente todo el tiempo. El desayuno buffet incluye lo básico, pero estaba bueno.

Wir waren für ein verlängertes Wochenende dort und bekamen ein kostenloses Zimmerupgrate zum Zimmer mit Meerblick. Empfang und Service waren sehr freundlich. Alle waren sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Im Hotel herrscht eine sehr angenehme und unaufgeregte Atmosphäre. Das stylische und moderne Ambiente entspricht den Fotos. Unser Zimmer mit Meerblick (112) war schön, sauber, das Bad war schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und es fehlten im Bad Ablagemöglichkeiten. Frühstücksbüffet sehr gut, schöne Bar, am Wochenende mit DJ; tolle Lage am Meer. Ideal um Cascais und Umgebung zu besichtigen und doch sehr ruhig gelegen, abseits des Trubels rund um das touristische Zentrum von Cascais. Klare Weiterempfehlung.

Tout était parfait dans ce magnifique hôtel sur bord de mer. Nous avions une vue impressionnante depuis la chambre. Les prestations et le petsonnel sont aussi a la hauteur. Le restaurant de Suchi est mémorable. Ce séjour de quatre nuits a Cascais, tout près du centre et a deux pas de lexcellent restaurant de poissons Mar do Inferno, était très agréable.

Stayed two nights and mostly relaxed in the hotel. The pool has wonderful sea view. The standard sea view room is good size, some have a small terrace with chairs. Had dinner at the sushi restaurant and it was good, a bit on the expensive side. Also had a 1h massage on the deck by the sea and that was wonderful. The design and interiors of the hotel are interesting and beautiful. The hotel is close to the shops and restaurants at the marina. The only downside is that the hotel doesn't have a spa and fitness / gym. For a 5 star hotel you would expect that... But we will definitely come back again anyway.

Sendo frequentador do Bar e Esplanada desde 1987, no último ano reclamei 3 vezes por mau atendimento, isto é, os empregados pura e simplesmente não aparecem para atender os clientes. Em todas as vezes estive 30 minutos à espera e nada. Nem num café de bairro isto acontece. 5 estrelas, só mesmo no preço.
É um local excelente mas não chega.
Como a situação não melhora, passarei a ir ao Villa Italia, ao Albatroz, ao Oitavos, etc.
Só irei lá novamente experimentar quando a gerência/empregados mudarem.

Estive em tempos num batizado nesse local fantástico o que tenho pena é que não tenha pessoal competente, alertei o "organizador de eventos" que o local escolhido para o cokteil tinha bastante sol e que havia crianças e pessoas de idade nos convidados, a resposta dele foi que era o local destinado para o evento e que tinhamos muita sorte pois na semana passada tinha estado muito mais calor.
Eram 15h da tarde e não havia sequer um guarda sol o que nos sugeriu era que fossemos para a sala interior que é a sala de passagem dos hospedes do hotel para a piscina. Ainda há muito mais a falar do serviço e que deixa muito a desejar não só por mim (apenas convidada) mas tambem pelas pessoas que pagaram o evento.

Solo me queda dar las gracias, tanto al hotel como al expedia, por un fin de semana inolvidable. Nos alojamos el fin de semana de San Valentin y la noche el sabado al domingo teniamos velas en la habitacion bombones... todo un mundo de atenciones.Era una sorpresa para mi marido y la que no se podia creer que todo fuera tan bien fui yo. Si van no se pierdan comer o cenar en su restaurante .- Gracias por todo.
