Went on the 2pm tour wow what a experience we had Marco as our guide and I must say this is a tour that I reccomend to everyone it's a experience that you wont forget with remarkable views and insight in to the algarve. Marco he is by far the best guide I have ever had on any tour, Thank you Marco.

Had Marco, did the 9 till 1 journey. 2nd May 2019. This is incredible. Absolutely amazing journey, have Marco drive you. Maybe not suitable for children tbh or anyone with severe disabilities but honestly the best time of our holiday. Never laughed so much. Was $30 euros each. If you can, please please do this. Even tipped Marco. He made the experience. Never had so much fun. Seriously do this. Radical ride

Nous avons passé un excellent moment. Thomas, notre guide, nous a fait découvrir des paysages authentiques de l'Algarve. De très beaux souvenirs. Je recommande.

Definitely worth the money. Tour guide was so knowledgeable and the tour itself was great. Seeing the countryside and knowing the story behind the area and the nature contained was an incredible privilege. Definitely worth the €30. Would definitely recommend if you want to see a separate world to the tourism and consumerism of Albufeira

Fizemos o agendamento do Sunset Tour pela Alsafari Tours, certos de ter uma experiência inesquecível, dadas as avaliações no Trip Advisor e em outras fontes. A reserva foi feita no dia 06/01/2019 sob ID 112 e a confirmação foi recebida por e-mail, a qual dizia que seriamos apanhados em nosso hotel para o início do percurso, isto as 17:00. Contudo, fomos ao saguão de nosso hotel para aguardar o tour e ficamos até as 17:30 a esperar. Já sem esperança, entramos em contato com a Alsafari por Whatsapp, a qual não nos respondeu, não nos dando qualquer satisfação. Nós ficamos semanas planejando nossa viagem e incluímos este passeio em nosso roteiro por confiar na empresa e a resposta que tivemos foi bastante desagradável. Não fizemos o passeio e não recebemos satisfação alguma da empresa. Ficamos frustrados e infelizmente, dado o comportamento da empresa, não a recomendamos.

Ein tolles Erlebnis. Ich machte heute diese grossatige jeeptour durch das schoene Algarve Hinterland. Um 14h war Start in Albufeira, leider war das Wetter nicht Top, aber fuer januar mehr als ok. Die Tour ging durch die wilde berglandschaft in Richtung Paderme, Alte und Messines. Durch schmale Pfade mit dem typischen Portugal UMM Jeep. Unser Fahrer Hugo erklaerte Alles wichtige ueber Flora und Fauna. man lernte sehr viel dazu. Es gab eine Kaffeepause in einer typischen Dorfbar, sowie ene Moeglichkeit naturhonig und Aquadent, den typschen Algarveschnaps, so wie den italienischen Grappa zu kaufen. Direkt vom Hersteller. Zum Schluss zu den Fontes do Alte, mit Wasserfall.Ein toller Tag, den jeder erleben sollte.

The tour was AMAZING!! Marco was our driver and we had time of our lives! He did not look at the clock, he was stopping every so often, had many surprises, was very informative and funnyfunny. We saw so many spots. The road was great. Was not too scary but not calm either.we had 2 kids (under 4yo) with us and they loved it too. Marco was stopping to show and give us all the fruits and herbs. And he was giving flowers to little girl that was with us to keep her happy. We had no idea what to expect. We didn't expect it to be so great!! We really recommend it to everyone. And make sure you get Marco.

If you need a change of pace from lying on a beach all day, this is a great option. The tour picks you up and it is a fun ride. You basically go through more rural area of Algarve, see some cork trees, drink some fire water, taste some honey, have a nice lunch, get in a little swim time and head back home. The tour guide encourages standing in the jeep as we go through bumpy roads. It is a blast. The distillery / honey place is super small. He just grabs a key from behind a potted plant and lets you in, the goes over the process for making alcohol. We have as couple shots of fire water and it feels like a party. I read a negative review about them pushing the sale of honey and alcohol, but I did not get that impression. You can buy it (the guide sells it and puts the money in a tin for the owner), but I would say it's more of an afterthought than a sales pitch. The scenery is beautiful and the guide is entertaining.

We have just come back from the Algarve and went on the off road safari with our driver Marco a well informed and enthusiastic guide which made the trip very enjoyable.i would highly recommend this 4hr adventure excellent value for money keep the good work Thanks Mark and Hilary

Great Safari tour. They picked us up at the hotel at 9 o'clock. Together with another couple we went to the meeting spot were 2 other cars were already waiting. Our guide (the guy with long hair) was really amazing an polite. The safari tour was really nice trough the dry desert. We could smell some fresh picked herbs and some fresh picked fruit. We stopped at a donkeys area / cork trees area / turtle pool area / "Algarve Gazelle" (sheep) area and some nice high views were we could take pictures. The guide explained everything very nicely and detailed which was very interesting. Also we stopped at a local house to taste the honey and the home made alcoholic drink (48%). All 3 guides were very friendly. Around 2-3 o'clock in the afternoon we went to a local restaurant were we could eat fries with chicken and salad with some water/red or white wine. The meal wasn't perfect, but hey come-on you cannot expect that for your 48 euro all day trip. It was good enough to put the hunger away. At the end of the tour we went to a nature water river were we could swim for around an hour. This place was really beautiful. 4 stars for this amazing full day experience and it is worth it!!! Also thanks to our guide which was really amazing. He did this job for only 3 months now. -1 star for the folders which we found at the tourist information point. There were beautiful waterfalls on it. But of course of the period, all rivers were dehydrated and there were no waterfalls anymore. Only in the rainy periods.

What an exceptional Jeep Safari tour! Went on the tour with my boyfriend and another family! The tour guide, Marco was very friendly and insightful in giving us a taste of Portugal and it’s beautiful surroundings! We also had a chance to try some honey and alcohol! I would definitely recommend booking a trip with this company!

Excellent!! We were there with two teenage boys and we all had the most amazing night. Macro was great fun and very knowledgeable about the area. The sunset experience was outstanding and the meal of chicken piri piri was wonderful! Would highly recommend the sunset safari. Watch out for Ballitizar, histerical!! The Boyd Family x

We have booked this trip for our last day,family of four with a young child age 4. It was the best decision we made as our tour guy Marco was so lovely and he told us lot's of intersting stories,history and some nature facts. This is highly recommend if you wish to get out of tourist areas.

Before we even went on the tour they got in contact with us and told us that another tour would suit us better and it's 18 euro cheaper and that they will refund it no problem as we wanted to see the sunset. Not even Gone on the tour yet and very happy!!!

Great service! I really enjoyed my tour ... and the tourguide Marco was great to. He made the experience worth a while. The communication was also great. I have no complaints.

Top Tour. Der Fahrer war sehr nett und hatte immer einen lustigen Spruch drauf. Wir waren nun schon zum 10x an der Algarve und hatten bisher noch keine Jeep Safari gemacht und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Obwohl wir schon viel erkundet hatten in den letzten Jahren konnten wir einige neue schöne Stellen kennen lernen. Fazit: Wer ein wenig Abwechslung im Urlaub haben will, für den ist diese Jeep Safari genau das Richtige.

No honey, no wine and no fire water. The guys who drove us around were lovely, but our full day was cut short as there was no lady in the farm to show us any of the culture or history of Portugal's firewater, wine and honey. There's also no water fall. The food was OK. It is not worth the money they charged. To add insult to injury, we all have blistered hands and bruised ribs from the jeep. Nothing about those jeeps were safe or practical. Falling apart, no seat belts and nothing to hold onto when you sit/stand at the back.

I went on the sunset jeep safari tour with 5 other friends and another couple. It is safe to say, every single person on that tour loved it and it exceeded all our expectations. Its hard to put into words the thrilling experience we had, from driving through rocky mountains to visiting small traditional villages. Our guide Marco was extremely entertaining and knowledgable and truly made it an unforgettable experience. Despite doing so many different activities during our stay at Portugal, this was definitely the peak of our holiday and we would do it again in a heartbeat.

Si quieres una mañana alternativa a la playa, esta es tu opción. Conoces la zona rural, con un viaje divertido y totalmente seguro. Nuestro conductor Marco nos amenizó el rato, siempre con ganas de enseñar, y además, saca unas fotos estupendas para inmortalizar el momento. Se realizan paradas para beber algo e ir al baño (la zona del río es preciosa). La excursión fue en inglés, por la variedad de nacionalidades, aún así, cuando no entendíamos, lo repetía en portugués. Para ser septiembre aún hace calor, así que recomiendo el turno de las 9.00h. Son cuatro horas reales...no como otras excursiones del Algarve.

Muy divertido. Otra manera de recorrer albufeira. A última hora un poco de calor. Seguro que en otro mes que no sea agosto se disfruta más. Aunque lo bueno del verano es que nos pudimos bañar en una especie de piscina natural.

We did the morning tour 9-1. Booking through WhatsApp was easy and Thomas gave us a friendly greeting on the morning. You see local wildlife, go off-roading and try local produce. We swam in a natural spring that the locals loved, which we would not have known about had we not done the tour. Highly recommended and Thomas the tour guide was funny, knowledgeable and proud of his home. Loved the fresh figs straight from the tree.

A great trip, ride In the jeep offroad is awesome. Then the distillery and honey tasting followed by the swim at the water fall. Highly recommended.

Decent value £££ with good fun guides, useful information about the area, and excellent for all ages. The best thing of all, however, is that it gets you away from the coast and into rural Algarve. Fabulous!

L'excursion d'une journée de l'arrière pays d'Albufeira/Portugal avec Alsafari Tours est plutôt sympa. Nous sommes 8 maximum par 4x4 et donc pas trop serrés ! Les guides/conducteurs sont toujours prêts à vous rendre service (prendre des photos, traduire avec les locaux...). Ils vous donnent pleins d'explications sur les arbres fruitiers, les plantes du coin et l'histoire du chêne liège... Il y a une visite d'une ferme avec dégustation de miel naturel (super bon), de différentes confitures et liqueurs plus ou moins fortes. On peut en acheter si on le désire mais aucune obligations ! Le déjeuner est simple (soupe de légumes en entrée, poulet grillé à la portugaise avec des frites et salade, fruit en dessert) mais suffisant . Le seul bémol, c'est que nous avions demandé un guide qui parle le français et on nous a dit que cela était bon. Sauf que nous ne l'avons pas eu. Il y en avait un mais il était pris avec un autre groupe de 8 français qui faisait une excursion d'1/2 journée. Je parle le portugais donc j'ai fait le traducteur mais c'est dommage. D'une manière générale, Il n'y a pas assez de professionnels du tourisme qui parlent le français.

Had a great time from start to finish. We only decided to do the trip the morning of the day we did it. Did the half day safari which was due to set off at 14:00. Called up to book and they arranged to pick us up from the hotel. Was supposed to last 4 hours but was more like 5. Took us all around the orange groves and cork trees. Stopped at a distillery and tried some of the honey liquor. Stops at plenty of view points and takes photos of you in the safari vehicle on your own phone or camera. Well worth the €30 and would definitely recommend.

Super offroad trip durchs hinterland von portugal. Marco unser guide weiss excellent über die natur seiner heimat bescheid und erklärte alles bestens. Ausserdem kennt er die pisten wie seine westentasche und hat den jeep 1a im griff! Vielleicht sehen wir uns wieder!! Die 3 zimmerer aus bayern

Absolutely amazing trip yesterday....by far my favourite day of our holiday. Our guide Marco was brilliant and knew so many interesting facts about everything we saw. I think we could possibly even survive a few nights in the wild now as he taught us so much. We expreienced so many great things, I couldn't even say what was my favourite part, but some of my highlights of the day have to be watching the sunset, learning about & tasting the firewater and the off roading part when he told me to come sit in the front and strap myself in and then told the boys to stand up in the back and hold on tight!! Before you think it, no he wasn't being sexist, but i had hurt my foot and was already saying i was a bit chilly. I highly recommend taking this trip if you get the chance, we will certainly be recommending it to all our friends and family. Its Great value for money and usually when we holiday places, we dont do the same excursions again but if we return to the algarve with other friends, we will 100% be taking them on this trip (as long as Marco is available to drive us again). One last piece of advice is: Even if its a hot day, I recommend taking trainers (rather than flip flops) trousers and a coat with you in your bag because it does get rather cold when the roof is off after the sun goes down as you go quite fast through the countryside, so the wind really gets you.

It was horrible experience. Guide was rude and with attitude. The overall trip wasn't worth the money. There is no waterfall and the wildlife for them is a donkey in the cage, few turtles in the pond. The worst day of our holidays. Don't go with this man!!!

Um dia inesquecivél, nunca pensava haver sitios tão bons e divertidos no interior do Algarve, da proxima levo a minha familia a fazer mais um tour com eles. Recomendo a 200%!
