Hotel com.a melhor relação qualidade preço, muito melhor que muitos 4 estrelas. Todos os espaços pristinos, pessoal simpático e muito prestável, e a localização extraordinária e privilegiada.

Hotel molto carino accogliente pulito, non c'è il bidet, ma 'valida' doccetta nel wc...colazione abbondante varia molto curata, con terrazzo sul mare.
Possibilità di buoni aperitivi, ma anche di pranzi e cene dignitosi.
Direttamente sulla passeggiata e quindi sulla spiaggia.
Note negative: lettini e ombrelloni a pagamento nella spiaggia privata pur essendo clienti dell'albergo e personale alla reception freddo distaccato veramente sgradevole.

Hotel ist zu empfehlen. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Konnten einige Stunden früher einchecken als angegeben.
Leider gibt es keinen richtigen Kaffee, nur Instant. Und lieber keine Massage buchen, lohnt sich definitiv nicht. Außerdem hätte ich erwartet, wenn schon auf die Rezension von Gästen geantwortet wird, das mehr auf deren Kritik eingegangen wird. Das zeugt nicht wirklich von Interesse an den Meinungen der Gäste.
Bei uns war allerdings alles soweit gut und haben uns wohl gefühlt, darum 4 Sterne.

Great location and hotel absolutely lovely. Most staff were able to help with queries and even when they couldnt they were very friendly. Breakfast very good but evening meal a little disappointing. We stayed half board but if I were to return would stick to B&B basis.

We had a lovely time staying at this hotel. Very clean and the staff could not do enough for you. Food was good and plenty of it. Some great members of staff that we came to know and with two young children they made them laugh. Great location. Thank you Dom Jose Hotel in Quarteria. Algarve. Highly recommend this hotel. Should be rated 4 star not 3. Will definitely stay here again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

bel hôtel, très lumineux, personnel très souriant et professionnel, (pour l'anniversaire de mon épouse, l’hôtel nous à offert en chambre une bouteille espumante et plateau de fruits, très belle surprise) buffet pas très grand mais suffisant, avec de très bon produits (c'est mieux que grosse quantité et qualité moindre, mon avis personnel). si je dois donné une critique l'insonorisation des chambres par rapport au couloir (les gens y passent sans se soucier des autres, à n'importe quelle heure de la nuit, et comme si vous ne les aviez pas assez entendu ils claquent les portes en prime). voilà en bref beau séjour.

My wife and me stayed for 7 nights from 14th May.we could not fault the hotel for cleanliness,the choice at breakfast was amazing,in fact the all the food at the hotel was excellent(try the pizza as a bar snack),the staff were very efficient and very helpful,the location is spot on,if I had a gripe just a minor thing the bar staff couldn’t make cocktails!

Our seaview room was disappointing and not very clean. There were ants everywhere and when we complained nobody cared. The room was way too hot and the air con didn’t work

Gut. Der Strand ist wunderbar und zu dieser Zeit noch nicht überbevölkert. Minuspunkt ist der Fluglärm, ich war mir dessen nicht bewusst, als ich buchte.Es gibt wunderbare Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe (Frühstücksbuffet ist fein, aber nicht top - kalte Teller, warme Sachen waren sofort kalt).Die Leute am Empfang sind sehr freundlich.

All aspects of this hotel are outstanding. Extremely pleased with our stay. Situated opposite the beach. The Hotel is very clean and modern. Lovely clean room and ensuite, the beds are comfortable too. The pool area was very nice with parasols. The staff throughout are polite, friendly and efficient, as too are housekeeping. The breakfast is well cooked with a large selection of hot and cold food. Quick check in and out. Beach beautiful with loungers and parasol only 10 euro for 2 people per day. We could not find fault with anything at this hotel and will definitely stay here again.

A real gem of a hotel. Right on the beach with beautiful views from your balcony. Food here is excellent with great choices at the buffet. Nice entertainment most evenings in the spacious lounge. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful hotel, fabulous staff, superb location, great facilities including a gym and nice deep swimming pool. Food was excellent with an amazing spread made buffet-style. 10 second walk across the road to get to wonderful golden beach that goes on for miles. The price was right too, having got a last minute deal through Tui. One thing, try and book yourself a room with a sea view - which costs a little more - but is entirely worth it, so each evening you can watch the sun go down over the water with a glass of your favourite tipple...BLISS!!

I have just returned from my 3rd visit to Dom Jose'. The staff are amazing, the food very good, the rooms extremely clean and the sea view as usual amazing. !!! I would definitely rate this hotel as a 4*. You cannot fault it , or , the location. Everyone are so very helpful. I am booking later today for my next visit and cannot wait !!.. Good size rooms. Rooms, like mine and others not overlooking the sea front have a site of very shabby buildings. Restaurant in hotel only seldomly open. Brilliant selection of food and drinks at breakfast. All in all.. not bad.

Ein wunderbares Hotel. Direkte Strandlage, viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe, sehr schöner kleiner Pool. Super Buffet zum Frühstück und Abendessen.
Abends ist ab und zu Lifemusik. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle Hilfsbereit und sehr nett. Das Hotel ist modern und sauber.
Ich würde immer wieder in dieses tolle Hotel einchecken.

Schönes Hotel mit phantastischem Blick auf's Meer, der Pool war direkt unter unserem Zimmer, welches auch ganz angenehm und sauber war. Der Check in war aufgrund technischer Mängel unnötig umständlich obwohl wir zuvor online eingecheckt hatten. Die Umgebung hinter dem Hotel war leider recht hässlich und heruntergekommen, dafür gab es ausreichend kostenfreie Parkplätze in der Nähe.
Frühstück war auch in Ordnung, nicht all zu viel Abwechslung, typisches internationales Frühstück.
Unser Aufenthalt war angenehm und ich würde das Hotel durchaus empfehlen.

Perfect location with indoor gym. Doesn’t have an indoor pool. The hotel a sea view room a must. This was a very last minute overnight stay so booked the cheapest room and a City View is not the best. For future I will always book a sea view room as the view is spectacular.Breakfast is very nice, but at busy times it’s not easy getting a table.I would stay here time and time again on location alone.The drinks and food reasonably priced. If you wanted to you could upgrade to half board for €20 but this was in special offer at €16 and if you want lunch buffet to make it full board there’s an additional €12.The bar area sells a good selection of snack food at between €6-€8. A latter coffee €2, small beer €2 and a bottle of Plantano Douro €16. There’s mini crazy golf on the roof for €2.5 per person and a good sunning area up there too. The standard rooms are small so if you spend a lot of time in your room and want space this isn’t the one for you. However, for our trip it was more than adequate and impressively clean.

The room and hotel was great. When we arrived the local parade was in full action. It was a pleasant enough holiday but I did find it too quiet as there were far too many elderly people, even the restaurants were quiet as in there was no music, vaguely background music in a few places. If you want a laid back break this is for you.

Sehr schönes Strandhotel, direkt an der Strandpromenade von Quarteira. Zimmer sehr komfortabel, sauber und groß. Blick vom Zimmer in den „Hinterhof“, aber so war es auch gebucht.Essen, morgens als auch abends sehr gut und lecker. Und auch immer heiß! Top!

Great hotel, well positioned on the sea front and very very central. 2 minute walk to the bus station. Some difficulty understanding gluten free dietary requirements and it took two days for the hotel to be able to identify what was gluten free. On a positive note, for breakfast, as a result of our discussions, they did set up a gluten free table.

Nice hotel with swimming pool situated on the beach but the town/village is small and quiet.
I would recommend to stay in another location like Albufeira or another popular city just to have more animation and feel the summer vibe :)

Just arrived and so far it's fantastic very clean with amazing food and rooms with amazing sea view.. Fantastic Christmas in an amazing location, gala dinner on Christmas night was a 5 course meal with wine.. Staff worked really hard to make it special.. We will be back next Xmas as it's best one We be had in Portugal, Thank you Dom Jose x

Tanto por telefone quanto pessoalmente os funcionários se mostraram atenciosos e corteses.
O hotel fica de frente para a praia.
Tem instalações simples, porém confortáveis e bem limpas.
Achei o custo benefício excelente.

Зручний пляжний отель, знаходиться в центрі невеличкого курортного містечка.На даху має прекрасне місце для сонячних ван. Має вихід на праю, де багато кафе і недорогих хороших магазинів з одягом, взуттям,прикрасами. Все для відпочинку і шопінгу... Прославився тим, що покоївок примушують прати рушники під ноги руками після закінчення робочого часу. Сором... Невже немає пральних машин? На дворі 21століття!!!

Upon arrival one of the two elevators had been out of commission for several days but was fixed by the end of our first full day there. The porcelain bidet bowl had many large cracks but I just advised the manager about it to have it fixed after we checked out. The gals smell oddly like a nursing home but the ladies were always cleaning it so we couldn’t make sense of the odor. The beds are consistently hard as granite throughout the country so DJNH was no exception. Pillows were awesome though. The manager responded to all my concerns very quickly and I certainly appreciated that. The evening singing was fun, bar staff were perfectly fun and professional and the evening front desk staff were awesome. The daytime ladies though almost never smiled or were put off by my asking questions. I felt as though it was an inconvenience. The evening staff was just the opposite, smiling, told me nothing would. BE a problem and so much more. They were helpful and kind. The buffet for breakfast was adequate . Thanks for taking care of us

Hotel au top l'enregistrement c'est très bien passé la personne qui nous a reçu parlé Français et très gentille piscine, plage à 100m chambre propre et spacieuse pleins de restos à proximité. Mr le directeur à attraper mon fils et un ami à lui donc deux Ados en leurs demandons leurs cartes d'accès à la chambre il pensait qu'il n'était pas à cette hôtel sur un ton désagréable jusqu'à qu'une personne de l'accueil le lui dise qu'ils avaient la chambre 230, aucune excuse de sa part inadmissible pour moi dommage que je n'ais pas assisté à cette scène car je lui aurais rappeler la courtoisie à la Française. Samedi soir vers 22h nous avons pris un verre au bar de l'hôtel en térrasse et là, la serveuse se percer un bouton devant l'une des glaces ds la salle puis se lécher les doigts avant de venir nous servir une HONTE d'avoir des gens comme cela dans son établissement heureusement que d'autres sont la pour relever le niveau à vous Mr le directeur de recadrer cette personne puisque vous savez le faire avec vos clients celà c'est passé samedi soir 20 octobre vers 22h .Sinon très bien l'hôtel je vous le recommande car nous, nous retounerons .

Stayed at this lovely hotel right on the beach, not very far from shops, restaurants and bars. The staff were helpful, polite and respectful. The restaurant in the hotel itself left something to be desired but wasn't a problem as there were many places very close by that had food reasonably priced and were very delicious.

Tout était parfait dans cet hôtel. Emplacement idéal juste au bord de la mer. Personnel charmant aussi bien à la réception que dans le reste de l'établissement.
Buffet du petit déjeuner excellent ainsi que le buffet du soir. Encore merci pour la bouteille et les fruits que nous avons trouvé dans la chambre, offerts par l'établissement.
Je voyage beaucoup à travers le monde et votre hôtel mérite bien d'être un 4 étoiles.

Sejour septembre 2018.
Les "+" :
Situé en bord de mer, vue panoramique a 180 degrés sur la plage de Quartiera, accès direct à la plage à quelques mètres par la voie piétone en façade du bord de mer.
Chambre avec balcon terrasse vue sur mer et piscine, aux premières loges pour le spectacle garantie tous les soirs avec coucher de soleil sur la mer.
Chambre climatisée, confortable, bien équiquée avec grand lit, penderie, mini frigo, ect. Grand salle de bains tout confort avec grand cabine de douche a l'italienne rectangulaire.
Hotel très propre, piscine extérieure, grande terrasse couverte pour profiter de la vue sur la plage.
Buffet petit dejeuner très complet et variés, du sucré au salé pour une clientèle "européenne" .
Hôtel situé sur le bord de mer animé de Quarteira, avec ces nombreux restaurants, glaciers, lounge bar, ect.
Les "-" :
Accès en voiture à la réception de l'hôtel par l'arrière de la façade, petit rue étroite dans un virage, non indiqué par le GPS qui prends en compte l'adresse en façade qui est une voie piétone interdite à la circulation autos. Donc pensez a regardé sur "Google maps" comment acceder à la réception.
Pas de parking exterieur pour la clientèle, seul quelques places devant ou parking en sous sol, places limitées, à 8 euros / jour !
Seul solution, se garer sur la grande avenue a une 100e de mètre de l'hôtel (stationnement gratuit).
Ascenseurs petits, insonorisation des chambres pas terrible. Bruits dans les parties communes dus au va et vient des autres clients pas toujours discret, mais aussi des femmes de ménage.
Bien que l'hôtel béneficie d'une plage privée face a l'hôtel, les bains de soleil et parasol sont en supplément, dommage !

Betjening: Renholdere hyggelig, resurantbetjening ok, Resepsjon, lite service mindet, lite hjelp å få når man spør om hjelp. Henviser stadig til kollegaer som er på plass dagen etter. snakker generelt veldig dårlig engelsk.
Frokost, dårlig utvalg i mat, Middagen var bra.
Mye støy i matsalen.
Avreisedag: Ut av rommet kl.12:00, Ingen mulighet for å beholde rommet mot betaling, kun oppbevaring av kofferter, ingen dusj eller omkledningrom.
Oppsummert er hotellet greit nok for en ukes opphold, men sørg for å få et fly med avreise på morgenen.

Très bon hôtel. Bien situé face à la mer pas besoin de prendre la voiture. Personnel très gentil. Petit déjeuner très très bon avec beaucoup de choix. Piscine avec 1 très bonne température. Super literie. Ne pas hésiter à préciser si vous venez pour une occasion particulière car offre 1 belle surprise. Je reviendrai c'est sûr. Petit bémol : les rideaux qui ne sont pas occultant. Prévoir bandeau pour les yeux et boules quies car quartier très animé. Et en cas de voisins bruyants n'hésitez pas à contacter la réception ils appellent la chambre concernée.

Good location on the beach front. Numerous restaurants on the beach front either side. Only about 20 mins walk along the beach front to Vilamoura. Very pleasant staff. The drinks at the hotel (cocktails etc) were inexpensive relative to Algarve prices. So it's nice to sit on the hotel veranda bar having a drink. We used this hotel as a base with our rental car to go exploring to Vilamoura marina and Vilamoura old village. It's alot more expensive to eat out around Vilamoura.

Great hotel in front of Quarteira beach. Perfect for summertime, with a huge buffet for breakfast (many different dishes). A bar opened all day and evening. Very well situated in front of the ocean with many shops, restaurants around. A swimming pool on sight. We had a great time during 7 nights me and my daughter aged 17. Sad to leave...

We had the most wonderful holiday here. The rooms are spacious and clean, they have everything you need. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Basically on the beach, with sunbeds available for hotel guests for only €12 a day. Beach/swimming towels available to hire and you can change them for a clean one every day if needed. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Ich kann zum Essen leider nichts sagen. Ich habe immer außerhalb gegessen. Neben an gibt es ein gutes indisches Restaurant. Ich kann dieses Hotel sehr empfehlen, allerdings sollte man das Zimmer buchen mit der Glasscheibe auf dem Balkon. Man hat direkt eine tolle Aussicht auf das Meer. Ich war in diversen fünf Sterne Hotels, allerdings ist dieses drei Sterne Hotel der Höhepunkt der Hotels, die ich in Portugal besucht habe. Und wir auf der Straße war ein Saxophon Spieler ich habe ihm am Ende zehn Euro gegeben. Mir hat die Musik sehr gefallen

sehr gute lage, direkt am strand. frühstücksbuffet gut, wenn uns auch der in spanien und portugal zum frühstück übliche prosecco/cava fehlte. zimmer stets sauber, einziges manko: keine badewanne. klimaanlage sehr leise! reingungspersonal sehr gewissenhaft. kellner im restaurant und an der bar sehr höflich und humorvoll. die älteren angestellten an der rezeption im gegensatz zu den jüngeren extrem kompetent und hilfsbereit. das einzige, dass uns an unserem aufenthalt massiv gestört hat, waren urlauber, die mit ihren eigenen badetüchern bzw. welchen aus den zimmer stundenlang die liegen am pool blockierten. dieses blockieren wurde vom hotelmanagement, entgegen der poolregeln, kein einziges mal geahndet.

It is a very lovely hotel. Excellent customer service.. It may be a 3 - star hotel, but you get 5 - star treatment.
It has a beautiful foyer or lobby and a really great bar that does food and drinks (the pina colada & mojito are fantastic). The hotel is right on the beach. And it is a very nice sandy beach.
The hotel has an outdoor pool (bear in mind it is not heated) and a spa room (yes..room). It may just be a room and not a spa centre but the lady that runs it gives the best massages. And they are reasonably priced. I have not yet tried other treatments.
The food is very nice. I love the atmosphere in the hotel's restuarant for dinner... People nicely dressed...smiling, chatting, eating, having some wine. I especially love eating at the outside dining setting.
This hotel is just a very nice place. My family and I have been back a few times. We it there. And would be going back again.

Excellent hotel, has all you need for a holiday. The staff are always courteous and efficient. The location is superb the beach is across the pedestrian promenade. Should it be preferred there is a swimming pool with sunbeds around it.
The restaurant is good the meals are buffet style with plenty of choice and all well executed.
All in all a good place to stay.

Just what our granddaughter wanted - a lovely hotel with direct beach access with a sea view & balcony. Suggest a deposit for beach towels, but no fee. The rule against bringing your morning coffee to your room is absurd.

Absolutely amazing, brilliant , fabulous, very nice welcome to Portugal. Reception was fast and friendly, turned up without a booking and had a family room within 5 minutes. Excellent food (breakfast included with booking) fresh fruit and English breakfast buffet, lovely pool and beach across promenade, so clean, air conditioning is great, balcony view amazing (even with side view), beds are so so comfortable, and would definitely come here again :-)

The rooms are not the biggest but are perfectly adequate. They are clean warm and dry. The fridge is welcome.

Really lovely spot, great breakfast and super common areas. Much more like a 4 star hotel but listed as 3 star. Literally 5 metres from a fantastic safe beach , access for people with mobility problems. Very helpful staff, super clean everywhere. Highly recommended and very keenly priced.

The the hotel was beautiful in itself. However customer service was a bit off. I was asked if I wanted an upgrade on the room I had chosen. I then told them my preference to be told that they have no more rooms. So I was given first floor, city view. Now let me just say it wasn’t the city. It was just a wall! DISAPPOINTING!! One of the receptionist was very rude, but there was another member who was very polite and helped us with any queries.

Ein traumhaftes Hotel direkt am Meer. Der Service ist überragend - von dem netten Personal an der Rezeption über das Barista-Team bis hin zu den engagierten KellnerInnen und nicht zu vergessen die Putzfeen!
Die Anlage ist top gepflegt und modern. Vom Pool bis zum Zimmer alles top.
Das Essen ist sehr lecker und günstiger als in den umliegenden Restaurants.
Das Hotel ist absolut empfehlenswert und wir kommen wieder!

I love this hotel. Its hard to believe its only a 3 star. Its immaculately clean. The staff are amazing the location right on the beach is perfect. Even the roof top crazy golf course while its great and nice scenery might be a little safety hazard if any balls fall off the roof. The alley to the side of the hotel and the rear of the hotel is scruffy but thats not the hotels fault.

Great hotel with the perfect location! Hotel was clean. Breakfast was good! Had a lounge with a deck overlooking the beach where we had cocktails while watching the sunset! My only complaint is there was no where they would allow you to sit without purchasing their cocktails, besides your room. The lobby was the lounge. We had purchased a bottle of wine at a winery and we're not allowed to consume it except on our bed! Very bizarre! Also it was a majority an over 80 crowd and many of them. This is not bad, just information.

Every thing was top notch except for one major problem.......very poor soundproofing. Voices and noise in the hallways and adjacent rooms were clearly heard. The elevator/lift was extremely slow. Otherwise we found the hotel wonderful in every respect. A lovely sandy beach lies directly in front of the hotel. The breakfast buffet was spectacular. Excellent Indian restaurant next door.

I have just come back from our first trip to Portugal and I can’t criticise much about this hotel! The hotel itself is SPOTLESS. Clean, our bedroom was well equipped and with an amazing sea view. It had a small fridge too which was practical to keep our bottles of water fresh (it was nice to have a cool drink as the weather was about 21 degrees. I can imagine being well appreciated in the summer!!).
The food was lovely and diverse. Plenty of choice and they were simply never running out of anything! The waiters kept replenishing the buffet as soon as a dish was empty.
There was also a lovely bar with a panoramic view. Me and my little boy would go there for lunch or for a drink and the waiter (I don’t know his name but he was there everyday) was the loveliest guy there. Always smiling, polite and helpful. You could just tell he was working hard and trying his best to please the customers.
The only thing I could mention is that the pool isn’t heated. It is worth knowing for anyone planning a holiday there in the colder months. It wasn’t a problem for us though and we will be back.

J'ai passé 7 jours au mois d'août super ! Personnel très accueillant et très gentils qui font des efforts pour parler français et vous comprendre ainsi que pour se faire comprendre. L'hôtel est très bien situé. Nous avions une chambre au 6ème étage vue sur la ville, mais chambre très propre, dommage qu'il n'y est pas de balcon vue sur la ville, difficile pour étendre nos serviettes de bains. Petit déjeuner très copieux et à volonté.
Hôtel familial.
Seul point négatif : l'eau coûte très très chère : 3.50 euros la bouteille d'eau de 75 cl. Et les repas du midi pas trop de choix.
Nous avons passé de très très belles vacances, et très nostalgiques au moment du retour

Pros: Theres a lot to like! I loved that the property was beachfront, with a promenade and not too far from the airport. Free parking is available. I liked having the option to go and listen to their nightly entertainment. It had a decent breakfast buffet as well. The staff was very friendly and they surprised my husband for his birthday with a complementary bottle of champagne and fresh fruit! Very nice and memorable! Cons: Would have liked to hear a little livelier music entertainment and not a fan of the toilets in the room.

Tolles Hotel direkt am Strand, durch eine Fussgängerzone getrennt. Mit übersichtlichem aber gut bestücktem Frühstücks- und Dinner Buffet. Also für jeden etwas dabei.
Die Zimmer funktional und sauber.
Super zentral an der Küste der Algarve gelegen, wo praktisch jedes Ziel der Algarve in ca. 2h Autofahrt erreichbar ist. Top!

Hotel was exceptionally clean and modern, with an unbeatable location. Literally steps away from the Quarteria beach front. The hotel has a very spacious bar and lounge area as well as terraced seating. The dining area was well laid out and very comfortable.

This was our second stay at Dom Jose and I suspect it wont be our last. You just couldnt beat the location if what you wanted (and we did) was a beachside hotel (Its 25 paces from Hotel to beach!). Some improvements since our last visit 1) More friendly approach from staff 2) Beach umbrella area reserved for disabled use and associated lifeguards with a disabled access chair they used to bring people into the sea - other hotels, beaches please copy - this is a fantastic facility if you require it. Couple of areas that could improve (and these are really small) 1) Breakfast juices are of an artificial nature - surely could do better in Portugal 2) Probably because we only used the Lounge in early evening but one staff member to prepare and serve drinks to tables made for slow (but friendly) service 3) the House red wine - truly awful stuff - again in Portugal you could do much better for a Euro or two more. Overall probably the best three star hotel I have ever stayed in - and if they did something with the food - 4 star would be more appropriate. To be fair, there is quite a lot of competition in the area for eating so I suspect this is not a priority for management. Sea View rooms were lovely and overall a first class venue for a relaxing beach holiday.

The hotel was fabulous. We stayed for 1 week in September. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Rooms were clean, comfortable bed, great shower. Bed sheets and towels changed daily. The bar was the only downside of the hotel....too long of a wait for food and drinks and sometimes forgotten. The hotel is in an ideal area if you want a quiet holiday. And only a 6 euro taxi drive to Villamoura for the lively bars. We would definitely return to the Dom Jose.

I know nothing about the hotel itself, but the guy that handles the umbrellas and beach chairs are the worst! Been to Quarteria for 5 years in a row and always stay at Dom Josés beach because of its great location, but every year the guy working with renting beach chairs is more and more unfriendly, even rude! And so lazy! Takes lunch for 2 hrs which leads to that you can’t get a matress to your sunbed during that time. Sorry to say but this year I’m actually going to another place, that rude guy is just too much...

Lovely hotel rooms. Hotel is modern and clean and well looked after. Staff are all friendly. Breakfast is the usual hotel standard. We did have lunch there one day and it was terrible. The buffet lunch is not worth €15pp. There are much better places around for less money. I would definitely stay again

Trés bon emplacement de lhôtel sur la promenade en bord de mer par contre lors de ma réservation je nai pas eu le choix de la chambre et je me suis donc retrouvé avec une chambre sans balcon donnant sur larrière de lhôtel et donc sur la rue. Très cher pour la qualité de l’hôtel. Pas de cocktail de bienvenue, arnaque sur la navette pour l’aéroport. La température de la piscine est au plus haut à 18 degrés. (Piscine non chauffé). Petit déjeuner ridicule aucun plat cuisiné. Pas de personnel au bord de la piscine pour commander. Il vous faudra traverser tout l’hotel Si vous voulez un cocktail ou un café. Les cartes pour rentrer dans les chambres se démagnétise tout le temps. Pour rentrer dans votre chambre il vous faudra passer par l’accueil.
Pour ce qui est des chambres elles sont propres mais très petite. Bref nous avons payé 1400€ pour un chambre et un hôtel lambda voir bas de gamme. Je ne vous conseille vraiment pas d’y Aller pour ce prix là il y a 100 fois mieux ailleurs. Personnels très gentil voilà le seul point positif.

An true gem of a hotel right on the beach. Myself and my husband stayed here for 3 nights. Super friendly staff, very clean. We had a Seaview room, definitely recommend this. Thank you Don Jose Beach Hotel for a fabulous stay.

Staff are amazing here. Food choices are really great. One fish dish and one vegetarian choice different each day for evening meals. Great veg and salad buffet choice too. Rooms good size, well maintained and have excellent sir conditioning. Beautiful views of the beach from the restaurant and some rooms. Lovely pool, although small it isn't madly busy as people go to the beach. Always found a sunbed there. Pool side service for drinks and snacks. Would come again. Fridge and kettle in room. Toiletries and a few tea bags and coffee in room on first day. Massages available on the beach. Check out is 12 and there are scales to weigh your luggage. Also has a nice air conditioned gym.

This is a 3 star Hotel batting well above that standard. Already booked for next year 2019. UPDATE. Spent 2 weeks there, again, in March. Swam in the sea everyday. ALREADY booked for 2020.

Das Personal ist super nett. Auch kleine Defekte im Bad wurden schnell behoben. Die Lage am Meer ist super- und zur Bushaltestelle ist es nicht weit. Verbindungen nach Albufeira und Lissabon sind so easy möglich. Das Essen im Hotel ist top. Besonders das Abendessen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Nice, simple room with balcony. Very good breakfast buffet, and friendly serving and cleaning staff. The folks at reception were a bit reserved and disinterested for the most, and my departure was delayed and greatly marred by a woman who insisted I hadn't paid. Of course I had, in advance of my arrival, but I had to fish through my bag to find my reservation that proved it. She was not apologetic at all. Also I was there off season but the hotel was full, as I guess it always is. Most of the guests are British, who often come in groups to play golf in the area, but all I encountered were very polite though often loud, especially at breakfast. The hotel is also on the pricey side.

I cannot say enough praises about this place. The moment we came here we just knew we woukd have a great stay and we were right. This place is the best 3 star hotel I have ever stayed in. It was like the service of a 4 ot 5 star hotel. The only thing I don't like was that they advertise private beach. Yes you have a private area on the beach, but that doesn't mean it's really private beach. Its a public beach front and there is just a reserved area for guests if you want to pay for a little cabana to lay down on with table side service from the resturant bar. So other than that small detail which can be easily overlooked everything we experienced was truly awesome. We love that it has Air conditioning and the sea view room was def worth the price. Buffet was also great, but honestly there are amazing resturants and cafes all over that are worth a visit and close in walking distance. So I feel great about not paying for full board. Get out and explore the algarve, it's what traveling is all about!

Funcionários do bar extremamente simpáticos e prestativos, mas não posso dizer o mesmo da recepção. Quarto muito confortável e limpo. O serviço de limpeza e arrumação é muito bom. Acho péssimo não ter serviço de quarto para que pudessem levar algo que precise, você precisa descer para buscar. Além disso, não possuem uma pessoa ou , pelo menos, um carrinho para carregar as bagagens. Café da manhã bom e funcionários que servem o café da manhã são excelentes, muito simpáticos e solícitos.

Hotel is well situated on the sea front with plenty of sandy beaches to walk in either direction. Hotel staff were friendly, attentive and always available to help if required. We had a couple of birthdays in our holiday group so had a couple of fruit platters and champagne complements of the hotel, such a nice touch. Would highly recommend the hotel.

The room was full of ants , in the fridge too. We had to change to another room and then we got a room with broken AC, and we had to change to another room. The staff was not so friendly and we had to wait for long time until they try to solve it

serious problem with check in and check out.
We arrived early for check in (around 12pm.. which I understand they were not able to accommodate us as check in was at 3pm) so we left our bags and went for a stroll until 2pm when we were told to come back and they would have our room.
Came back at 2... no room.. wait until 3.
Waited until 3... no room... come back at 3:30.
Came back at 3:30 where they proceeded to tell us the room still wasn’t ready as someone was too tired to check out on time. That is not our fault. We had been traveling from Dublin and were up at 2am, we were also tired and wanted to get into the room we had paid for!
We eventually got to go to our room, where the cleaning staff hadn’t even made a start on it! At this point it was 4pm. Very very annoyed at the reception staff. We have now wasted an entire day of our holiday trying to get into a room which we have already paid for.

Great location, right on the beach with views from the bar and restaurant. The food was good and the rooms clean. The hotel has it's own section of the beach. My only criticism would be the pool was small. Recommended and would visit again.

Hôtel au bord de la plage dans zone piétonne. Le restaurant a un peu l'aspect d'une cantine. Mais tout rst propre et le personnel sympathique. Il faut éviter de manger la charcuterie mais à part cela, le buffet est correcte.
On avait une chambre avec vue sur la mer et un petit balcon. Malheureusement, la porte de la chambre se ferme mal et il faut la claquer fortement. On entend donc aussi les portes des autres chambres mais comme on dormait avec la fenêtre ouverte, ce bruit était couvert par le bruit agréable des vagues.
L'hôtel dispose d'une salle de gym et la possibilité de se faire masser par une gentille dame très compétente. La piscine extérieure est propre et protégée du vent.
Dans les alentours on trouve des restaurants sympas et à quelques pas, un bar au bord de la plage où on peut admirer le coucher du soleil.
Je recommande cette hôtel simple mais chaleureux, un trois étoiles vraiment sympa!

El servicio de habitaciones excelente y muy limpio,las vistas al mar son preciosas desde las habitaciones que dan al mar,además son muy amplias .
La piscina tiene acceso directamente a la playa y al paseo marítimo,muy bonito.
El desayuno muy completo ,están pendientes de que siempre este limpio y reponer lo que se acaba,muy amables.
El mini golf cuesta 2'50 € por persona.

Muy buen hotel, muy bien reformado, con camas sensacionales y muy buen desayuno. Está en primera línea de playa, ante un amplio y bonito paseo marítimo, con acceso directo a él. Muy animado, bien reformado y decorado, si bien la habitación que nos tocó era bastante pequeña, con el baño construido en la mitad del balcón, también minúsculo, y las vistas al mar entorpecidas por el techo de una prolongación del edificio justo al nivel de la segunda planta. ¡Las camas son comodísimas! Las mejores que he probado en mucho tiempo. Dispone de autoservicio de té en la habitación (calentador del agua, bolsas de té y un par de cápsulas de leche) pero solo es gratis la primera consumición. La atención es muy buena y el desayuno bufé es muy variado y de calidad, constantemente en reposición y el servicio es muy atento y educado. En mi opinión merece más de 3 estrellas.

Great hotel, had a very pleasant one week stay at this hotel which had very attentive staff, spotlessly clean rooms and comprehensive breakfast and evening meals.
Situated opposite the beach with uninterrupted views and easy access to shops, cafes, first class restaurants , taxis and bus station.
Great value and would certainly recommend this hotel for its relaxed yet professional services.

Very nice indeed. Only popped in for a coffee out of the rain. Friendly efficient waiter brought us our drinks. Nice views of the beach.. we have stayed here before many a time ( sea view rooms beautiful and worth the extra cost) and we kind of regretted booking else where for a change. I'd definitely recommend...
