Even though the rooms were quite nice and the breakfast variety was wide, i was handled poorly by a receptionist. I sent an email to the hotel management complaining about it, only to receive an inadequate response 10 days later.
For me it is crucial while staying at a hotel, to receive proper service from the hotel staff. A rude receptionist can affect badly my entire hotel experience.

Depois das remodelações - este hotel ganhou outra vida, mas os quartos não são muito confortáveis, principalmente a questão do duche ser transparente quase no meio do quarto.

6. Location ok, a bit of a walk to downtown but taxi in Lisbon is cheap. They have nearby restaurants and supermarket and Amoreiras shopping.
7. Pleasant staff, despite the check-in was a bit of a wait.
8. Overall, the hotel is comfortable comparing with other hotels in Lisbon. Definitely return.

Situacion muy buena para visitar todo Lisboa, cerca del bus turistico, ciudad vieja, etc. En general bien, desayuno muy caro , 20€ para la calidad qe tiene, mucha espera para huevos o tortillas y no hecho a la vista para ser un 5 estrellas y hechas con mucha aceite, cafe de calidad regular. Hay una cafeteria a unos 150 metros excelente, con buen cafe, zumo natural y todo tipo de pan y croissant por 6€ por pers. Parking cobran unos 18€ dia, no esta muy claro esto en algunas plataformas y por esto reserve este hotel. Al final y segun las ofertas, pagas mas por un desayuno y parking diario qe por la habitacion en si. Personalmente pienso qe es mas un 4 que 5 estrellas.

Um domingo muito bem passado com um novo conceito, o sprunch. Depois do circuito de águas no spa super relaxante, tivemos ainda um brunch delicioso e com imensa variedade. Mesmo no centro da cidade, o espaço é ótimo. Obrigada ao staff por toda a simpatia!

Great for a city break with a pool. Located slightly out of the centre but fine if you like a 10 15 mins walk. Great choice of breakfast buffet . Modern and clean rooms. Would recommend to others

All in all we felt that this house shows room for improvements - especially compared with other iberostar hotels where we had a great time !

Es ist ein sehr schönes Hotel die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist etwas fragwürdig. Alle sind Freundlich und können auch Fragen beantworten. Was mich stört ist das es öfters im Eingangsbereich nach chlor richt und auch das wasser im Frühstück nach chlor schmeckt! Es ist meiner Meinung nach kein 5 Sterne Hotel!

The Iberostar is in a very convenient location to access the tour buses and the metro. The facility is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and helpful. There is an excellent Italian restaurant across the street. I would definitely stay here again. Linda C.

A really great place to stay for your holidays. Nice staff, tidy rooms and a big variety of other activities you can choose from, like the free gym or the cheap spa.
We upgraded our room from the standard one and it was so worth it, the shower in the middle of the room is gorgeous.
The metro is really close and overall it is near to all the good spots of Lisbon.

Schönes modernes Stadthotel mit komfortablen Zimmern. Gute Lage nahe des Platzes und der Metro „Marquês Pombal“. Trotz des Zimmers zur Straße haben wir vom Verkehr nichts mitbekommen aber die Zimmer zur Rückseite sind für Empfindliche die bessere Wahl. Das Bett war für mich genau richtig (zwischen mittelhart und hart). Das Walk-In-Bad hat keine Tür und ist zum Zimmer hin verglast, was für viele gewöhnungsbedürftig sein könnte, allerdings ist der mittlere Teil der Scheibe satiniert, so dass dennoch eine gewisse Privatsphäre herrscht. Die Toilette ist abgetrennt aber ebenfalls hinter Milchglas. Die Zimmerreinigung funktionierte bei uns 1a. Ein kleiner Pool und Liegestühle befinden sich im Garten. Das bei uns im Preis enthaltene Frühstück war ausgesprochen gut. Sekt, frische Säfte, Nespresso-Maschine, Wurst, Käse, Lachs, geräucherter Thunfisch, frisches Obst, verschiedene Brot- und Brötchensorten, Eierspeisen, süße Pastries, eine ganze Honigwabe - alles da. Vom Platz Marquês Pombal sind es nur dreiStationen bis ins absolute Zentrum (Baixa/Chiado). Von hier kann man vieles zu Fuß, mit der Straßenbahn, mit dem Bus oder der Fähre erreichen. Das Iberostar Lisboa ist eine ganz klare Empfehlung meinerseits!

Das Hotel hat uns im Großen und Ganzen recht gut gefallen. Der Service beim Einchecken war top. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Die Zimmer sind grundsätzlich schön. Wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer, welches wir jedoch als recht klein empfanden. Das Frühstück hat uns leider gar nicht zugesagt. Es war durchaus recht reichhaltig, jedoch sehr speziell. Die Croissants waren jeden morgen fast schwarz.

Pretty nice hotel with stylish rooms, a beautiful pool and relax area with a lot of plants and grass... and that in the center of Lisbon... kind of unexpected but thumbs up for this.
Breakfast is awesome with a lot of fresh premium quality fruits and surely all you need for a balanced smooth kick off into your day.
Staff is very kind and helpful.
Go on like this and I will not go into another hotel in Lisbon.

Good size room, great breakfast, and close to Metro station. However, I don't think it's a truely 5 star hotel. Its surrounding area is just okay. No concierge and front desk is not doing a good job to help your travel. They don't even have some basic items, such as a nail clipper that I can borrow when I broke my nail.

Schöne Zimmer, wie auf Expedia und Hotelwebsite beschrieben. Zimmer war sauber, Zimmerservice kam täglich zwei mal. Kaffeekapseln und zwei Wasserflaschen täglich inklusive. Zuvorkommendes Personal, großes Frühstücksbuffet mit qualitativ hochwertigen und leckeren Speisen, leider wurde bei uns (3 Tage Frühstück) ab bestimmter Uhrzeit nicht mehr nachgelegt (z.B. Smoothies & Backwaren). Hotel ist empfehlenswert, die Lage gut allerdings nicht direkt im Zentrum. Achtung bei der Bestellung eines Taxis durch das Hotelpersonal, hier wurden uns mehrfach Taxen mit erhöhten Fahrpreise oder gar ohne Taxameter geschickt.

Very centrally located. Modern and well presented lobby with a very helpful check-in . Excellent room , great climate control, TV and complimentary smart phone. Breakfast was excellent . The waiting staff very helpful. Don't be put off by the breakfast being on -2, the hotel is on a hill.

Hotel is clean, modern, and comfortable. Rooms are for two people so a family of four will need two adjoining rooms ( like many Lisbon hotels). Staff is exceptional. Pricing is a bargain relative to quality of rooms and service. Valet parking available. Breakfast buffet has great choices.
Hotel is central to shops, restaurants, transit and parks. We will return here on our next Lisbon trip.

Great hotel, we spent a couple of days here and really enjoyed it. Let's start with the location, very conveniently located to the metro, yet in a rather quiet area.
Next, very friendly and attentive service. I want to mention the nice bar, while a bit hidden, you can get very good cocktails there.
Then the restaurant. We had two amazing dinners there and wouldn't hesitate to come back for another one.
The breakfast buffet is great and left nothing to be desired, especially the fresh berries were delightful.
Whatever the question, the staff was very friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed the spa, too. Rather small inside, but with a nice outside pool area, which was useful even in autumn.
So, full marks to this hospitable place in Lisbon. Happy to come back any time.

Just had a brilliant 5 day break at this hotel rooms where big and spacious you also get access to a free mobile phone and free 30 mins of calls but data is free to use round and about lisbon city you also get robes and slippers for use about the spa which states at €15 also minibar which we never used the bar is reasonably priced and staff were amazing I would recommend this hotel for a base to explore Lisbon and surrounding areas............ it was our anniversary and we got free cava and chocolates which made it more memorable

Härligt hotell med bra läge, trevlig personal, fina rum och bra frukost. Baren i entrén var perfekt att chilla i och SPAt gav mig en grym massage. Poolen hade dock kunnat vara bättre men man får tillgång till hela Spaanläggningen när man bokar behandling.

first hotel we stayed where we had to pay for the use of sauna. Is that what you call 5star? In the booklet it shows on the last page that you have to pay for the sauna. It is always good to handle problems and costumer satisfaction. If the staff made a room call to tell us they will deduct the fee for the sauna just to realize at check out it didnt work. The sauna itself is a tiny box with glass where you sit like in a shopping window. Just want to say we are extremely dissatisfied and the delay itself to clear the problem was another thing altogether. Please for future purposes the desk should be situated just right before the entrance so that the customers will know that sauna usage is not for free and let the staff inform visitors at the check in desk that sauna isnt included.

I just came back home from this beautiful hotel and I’m already missing this place. From the moment we entered the hotel we were welcomed so friendly, they helped us with our luggage and took it to our room. The room was so beautiful, the bed was one of the most comfortable beds ever, the bathroom was modern and clean, and the view from our room was spectacular. One morning my daughter and I ordered the room service for breakfast and we really enjoyed it. In restaurant Luz we had other breakfasts, and the choice of all different types of food was really good. Another great thing that we enjoyed was the spa. One day after exploring the city, we came back to hotel so exhausted so we went for a relax in sauna and pool. Location was also good, only 15 minutes walk from the city center and a few minutes from the nearest metro station. The hotel was one of the best hotels I stayed in, and the staff was so so friendly that I would recommend this place to everyone - for families, couples or solo travelers! I can’t wait to visit Lisbon again so I can come back to this place :)

I stayed in this AMAZING hotel for 5 days with my mum. When we arrived to hotel we were welcomed very kindly, the staff was so friendly and helpful. We got the room at the 5th floor and that was one of the best rooms I ever stayed in. I can’t tell what was better: the big comfortable bed, huge and modern glass bathroom, or the amazing view. The good thing was that hotel has a SPA, so we had an opportunity to enjoy sauna, massages and indoor pool after the exhausting days exploring the city. One day it was raining, so I spent the morning in the gym, which was super modern and it had some amazing workout machines. The hotel has a restaurant called Luz, the place where we had breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was amazing, there was so many types of food to choose, from eggs and salads, to pancakes, muffins and all different types of bagels. Also, one other great thing was the Vegan and Gluten Free part, so there was food for everyone. For dinner we ate lamb and shrimps, and the quality was great, we really enjoyed it. The location of the hotel was really good, we had only 15 minutes walking to the city center, and the near metro station was only 5 minutes away. This hotel is one of the best hotels in the world, and I hope I’ll have a chance to come here again :) I would definitely recommend this place for everyone!

Großartiges neues Hotel (Eröffnung Herbst 2017). Luxuriöse Ausstattung sowie ein sehr zuvorkommendes und serviceorientiertes Personal.
Der Pool war für die Größe des Hotels etwas klein. Der Aussenbereich aber ist aber großzügig angelegt.
Tolles Restaurant mit erstklassigen Speisen. Viele regionale Highlights.
Tolle zentrale Lage (10 Min. in die Altstadt, 25 Min. vom Airport)

I stayed at Iberostar, Lisboa from September 9 to 13. The hotel looks beautiful and sophisticated but looks are deceiving.
I had reservations about my stay when I saw photos of the bathroom. The glass shower wall that separates the bathroom from the bedroom made me realize that I would not have any privacy. That perception was accurate but only the beginning.
Not only are your lower legs and possibly head, depending on your height, exposed but there is no bathroom door so that when another occupant wants to access the closet, safe and fridge that are opposite the bathroom, you are further exposed.
The bright lights in the bathroom shine brightly into the bedroom through the glass wall. Forget trying to sleep while your partner is showering.
My gravest concerns are about safety and convenience. The shower floor is long and slippery when wet. There is no place to hold onto when moving about or leaving the shower because you can't mount grab bars or anything else on glass, so chances of falling are great. Also, there is no place to hang a wash cloth or anything else.
There is only one sink and somewhat limited space for personal items. There is a nice looking makeup mirror mounted on the sink wall but the problem is that it cannot be extended and you must lean over the sink to try to see into this mirror.
There is a nice area rug over the wood bedroom floor but it only extends to the middle of the bed. If you get up out of be and start on the wood floor you could trip over the rug edge.
There is no peephole in the room door to see who may be knocking.
Now on to the restaurant/dining room. Some of the tables are situated on a raised platform, while others are at the general floor level. This looks nice but IT IS VERY UNSAFE!!!!!!! If you are seated on the platform you must take a step down to go to the large buffet area. When you return to your table you must remember to step up. There are no markings or railings to remind you about the step. Unfortunately, my roommate tripped when returning from the breakfast buffet, fell and seriously injured her knee. We were traveling on a tour package and she was unable to participate in two tours for which she had already paid.
We were told that she was the second person who tripped that morning, the first of our stay. Why would a hotel have such a dangerous setup?
After the incident the hotel was very responsive to my roommates needs because they were responsible for the accident.
What i really would have liked is a safe, cozy room and environment. Forget the 5 star rating and glitz, give me safety!!! My recommendation is to take the above into consideration and look elsewhere.

Lo primero que te sorprende es la amabilidad del personal, muy atentos en todo momento.
La habitación muy amplia y luminosa y el buffet por la mañana perfecto para recargar energías.
La situación del hotel es ideal para hacer turismo aunque la piscina ha conseguido que hiciéramos algo menos.
El único inconveniente es haberme tenido que volver.

Es un hotel moderno, con mucha luz y un ambiente muy agradable y acogedor.
El personal es muy atento y amigable, haciéndonos la estancia lo más agradable posible. Además, el restaurante merece mucho la pena, ya que tiene una gastronomía espectacular y el desayuno buffet es muy completo, con mucha variedad donde poder elegir. He de resaltar la calidad de los alimentos, que me sorprendió gratamente. Se nota que usan género de primera calidad.
Tiene piscina interior y exterior, y servicio en piscina.
Es un hotel totalmente recomendable tanto todo tipo de viajeros: de negocios, de pareja, familiar... etc

Es un hotel moderno. Nuestra experiencia allí fue fantástica, sobre todo por la calidad de la gastronomía y por el tiempo de ocio en la piscina. El personal es muy atento y agradable, lo que facilitó mucho nuestra estancia. Totalmente recomendable!

O hotel é muito bonito, o café da manhã sensacional, mas o serviço de quarto é o pior que já vi na minha vida. Nos 10 dias que fiquei hospedado ali, nenhum teve a reposição de todos os itens que eu havia consumido. Ou não repunham as cápsulas de café, ou as garrafas de água, ou o creme (para o café)... Na maioria das vezes não repuseram nenhum dos itens! E em dois dias sequer lavaram/trocaram as xícaras sujas de café. Apesar da minha preocupação em tirar o cartão para desligar a energia do quarto, muitas vezes, o serviço de quarto deixou um cartão reserva inserido e as luzes e o ar-condicionado ligados o dia inteiro.

Terrible check in and arrogant service. All they want is additional charge! I’ve travelled the world and never had met a hotel ridiculous like this one.Also the room water hose is damaged. The rooms were clean and functional and modern. The rest of the property is a bit dated and dark in the halls and didn’t feel like a five star at all. It was closer to a four or three and a half star overall. Service was mediocre, as a “five star” weird that they wouldn’t provide a second luggage holder upon request, was very reluctant to provide a tea pot of hot water for drinking and wanted to charge us €7 for it. The individual that got us water the first evening was very very nice, she was great - sorry didn’t catch her name. Location was good and close enough to walk to the Avenida - about 20 mins. Overall our stay was fine. The rooms were clean so helped the overall experience.

Rooms clean and spacious. The promised 'view on the city' seems to be a view on some nearby rooftops. We loved the area as there are some nice restaurants around without being to crowded. The breakfast is ok. Ofcourse has a buffet a wide variety but asking for a egg Benedict (which was offered) gave us a interpretation of the Benedict we have never had before.... That was a bit disappointing for a hotel with this classification.

É a minha casa em Lisboa. Um cinco estrelas fantástico. Funcionário como os de lá, só na rede Iberstar.mas no de Lisboa eu fiquei l7 dias. O café da manhã é algo inimáginavel. Problemas com celular José resolve. Vc se sente em casa.tratamento espetacular produtos de toilet são divinos. A boa vontade em servir água e pró seco e adiantar check-in antes da hora. Para mim que vou todo ano à Lisboa este é o melhor hotel da cidade. Novo, elegante leve. Vc se sente em família. Até um celular no quarto para utilização por meia hora existe. Super gelegen, nur 5min bis Metro und vielen Buslinien. Freundliches Personal, Zimmer ruhig, angenehm und sauber. Frühstück Buffet auch sehr umfangreich. Jetzt leider zur grossen Enttäuschung, der Wellness Bereich, welche sowieso nur wenige nutzen, aber ich als Silbermitglied, kostenlos nutzen konnte. Die Ecken und Decke, waren von der Dampfsauna und Duschen sehr eckelig. In allen Ecken schwarzer Schimmel und Verputz von Decke herunter gebröckelt. So darf es in einem 5 Stern Hotel nicht aussehen. Klar das Feuchtigkeit, immer ein Problem ist, aber dann müssen halt Fugen und Decke ein mal im Jahr erneuert werden, so ist es eine Zummutung, habe es auch dem Personal gezeigt und reklamiert. Hoffe da macht das Hotel was im Wellness Bereich, das restliche war ja in diesem Hotel super, ich würde wieder dieses buchen.

El gimnasio, que está bastante bien está abierto las 24 horas, que es algo que siempre va bastante bien.
Pena no poder probar la pisci, pero en noviembre está cerrada.
Buen hotel, buen servicio y muy bien situado. El desayuno correcto. En mi habitación, incluso de noche, la 1109, había un ruido constante un poquillo molesto, la verdad. Con el aire apagado seguía habiendo un zumbido continuo.

Overall stay at this hotel is good. It’s 5mins away from Metro station, as it’s a lot of upper slope, it will be tiring to pull the luggage and walk. The room it big and clean, the bathroom is big too.
The reception staff are helpful and gave us a lot of info. 5mins walk to McDonald, 3mina walk to Telepizza; no worries that no food to eat. Recommended stay!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The front desk staff in particular has been excellent, but I also really like the lobby bar.
The room is nice and modern. Breakfast has gluten-free options including bread, and the restaurant has very good steak.
I was a bit disappointed in the spa. When I went there, no staff was anywhere to be seen so I could not ask for a key to the locker, a towel etc.

En lo general deja mucho que desear, habitaciones simples y pequeñas, que se ajustan al mínimo esperado para un hotel de 4 estrellas, mal aseo permanente de las habitaciones, movimos una silla para hacer uso de ella y bajo estaba lleno de basura y tierra, desayuno variado, pero lejos de ser el mejor, estuve muy agripado un día, por lo cual no pude bajar a desayunar, en reemplazo pedí la posibilidad de algo simple para yo mismo subir a la habitación, pero me dijeron que no sería posible y que la única opción sería pedir el servicio de habitación, un grafiti inmenso en la terraza el cual, a mi parecer, lo aleja más de la sobriedad esperada en este hotel. Como si no fuera poco, somos miembros de "Iberostar the club", pero no hubo ninguna clase de consideración, en conclusión una experiencia decepcionante.
PD: no vale la pena ser socio del "Iberostar the club" hay opciones mejores

We stayed for a total of 5 nights. Most rooms are standard size (25 - 28 sum) but very efficient rooms with a total of 6 power points and 2 USB points.
Staff are very friendly, helpful and the lobby is very pretty especially at night. They are generous and staff will pour you a glass of water or sparkling wine at any time of the day or night.
The outstanding point about staying here has to be the breakfast. It is 5 star Asia standard, so many choices of good quality produce. The wait staff at breakfast are the most hard working I have seen in EU, very nice people.

Recently stayed at the Iberostar for 3 nights. The location was fairly central 5 minutes from Marques De Pombal station. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Room was very spacious with a walk in shower. Their was a mini bar with a complimentary coffee machine. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choices, everything you could want. They have a gym and swimming pool with spa and beauty treatments at an extra cost. Special mention to the barman Pedro who will make you feel at home. Overall a very pleasant and relaxing 3 nights.

Stayed here for a week on business Sept 2019. Very comfortable, pleasant hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms. (Could have a party in the shower!) Very nice breakfast included with a great choice of hot and cold food. Staff are all very courtious and attentive. Car parking not included in the room rate but only 4 Euros per night and that includes valet parking service. Facilities include an outdoor pool, gym and a spa. All in all, highly recommended.

체크인 하는데 모든 사람들이 웰컴드링크를 먹고 있었는데 우리는 주지도 않았습니다. 그런가보다 하고 체크인 하고 룸키 받고 방에 들어갔더니 이미 사용하고 있는(다른사람이 이미 묵고있는) 다른 객실을 줬습니다ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ내가 쉬고있는데 다른 사람이 키 열고 들어오면 진짜 소름돋을거같아요. 프론트에 말했더니 처음엔 주지도 않던 웰컴드링크 주면서 미안하다하는데 별로 안미안해 보여요 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ직원이 인종차별하는 느낌 강하게 듭니다.

I stayed at at Iberostar and LOVED it. The have a great pool that gets sun most of the day. To take full advantage of daylight grab a spot on the far side of the pool. The breakfast is fabulous with many options. I wish the bacon was a bit more cooked. The service was phenomenal, in particular Rebeca was our server for breakfast several days and our poolside bartender. She was wonderful, always has a smile on her face and ready to engage in thoughtful conversation. I recommend asking for her if you eat at the restaurant. I will be back!

Der Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war einfach super.
Unser Reisebüro hatte als Reisegrund unseren vierzigsten Hochzeitstag angegeben.
Wir dachten nicht daran das uns etwas besonderes erwartet, doch wir wurden überrascht:
Auf unserem Bett war liebevoll eine Vierzig aus Rosenblättern drapiert und am Abend stand eine Flasche guter Sekt mit einem netten Brief der Hotelleitung auf dem Zimmer.
Vielen Dank für diese gelungenen Ûberraschungen.
Auch Zimmer und Frühstück waren sehr gut.
Absolute Zufriedenheit bei uns.

The hotel was great but did not get help with my luggages. Front desk sent us straight to our room by ourselves carrying our luggages after a long day traveling on plane.Besides that our room was great and the hotel is sleek. Excellent hotel but make sure they help you with your luggages because it is part of their protocol but no one at the front desk helped us at that time.

Only downside to our stay was the bed. Two single beds pushed together made for awkward and uncomfortable cuddling, resulting in my girlfriend and I both sleeping on the same side of the bed, as laying on or across the join in the two beds was very uncomfortable indeed.
Plus as Brit’s who enjoy a nice cup of tea in the morning, a kettle in the room would have been a nice touch too.

Perfekt boende om man åker som par och både vill ha sol/bad och nära till bra restauranger och barer. Dusch och toalett på rummet är inte avskilt så det kräver att man är bekväm med den man bor med. Vårt enda minus är att 5 gånger på en vecka fick vi vänta ca 10 minuter på att handdukar skulle tvättas innan vi fick en ren handduk att ha vid poolen.

Nous avons passé une semaine dans cet hôtel magnifique.
Le personnel est à l'écoute, souriant, arrangeant, serviable et réactif.
Le restaurant est excellent, les cocktails sont succulents, et le petit déjeuner exceptionnel.
La chambre était spacieuse avec une douche très agréable.
L'ambiance qui règne au sein de cet établissement est paisible et propice à une parfaite détente, le spa est tout aussi bien.
Salle de sport tout aussi positive.
Le seul point à retenir qui n'est pour moi qu'un simple détail est la température au sauna, hammam qui n'est pas assez élevé pour une efficacité optimale.
Si vous allez en vacances à Lisbonne, c'est le lieu idéal, proche des transports en commun, avec tout à proximité.

Be careful when booking trips with the hotel as the staff don’t necessary have the up to date knowledge. We booked a hop on hop off bus for a Sunday when a Cycling event disrupted the stops and the route but we were not warned of this by the staff. Furthermore there was confusion over the company they booked us with (Dianatours). I would recommend sticking to the popular international hop on hop off bus tours.

Quite a spacious room nicely decorated in modern style. Close to the shopping street which you can just walk by foot. However, room was arranged on the ground floor which is facing the restaurant and corridor that totally affect the privacy and curtain must be closed always. By the way, wooden floor which is close to the shower is always wet and getting damp already.

Wir waren für ein verlängertes Wochenende hier, um uns die Stadt anzuschauen. Das Personal ist überdurchschnittlich freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück super lecker und die Zimmer sehr sauber. I had a great experience at this hotel!
The staff is thoughtful and friendly, the room is a good size (considering you are in the center of Lisbon), the toiletries were of good quality, and the pool and spa area were a nice touch!
My feedback would be to perhaps add vegan options to the menu, adjust the hotel policies so that people don’t come every 15 min knocking on the room door (it would be nice to get the minibar checked while cleaning the room instead of doing everything separately), and if I can be picky it would’ve been nice to have a separate walkway for the business people to get to the event area instead of having men in suits walking by the pool while there’s people in swimsuits enjoying the sun and pool.
But overall was a great experience and I would come back!

Très bel hôtel, récent, bien entretenu, très bien situé, même si 5 étoiles paraît un peu présomptueux...
Les chambres avec vue piscine sont localisées dans un second bâtiment très calme... sauf la musique dans le couloir assez forte toute la nuit, alors qu'elle est coupée en matinée !
Mais surtout ce qui interpelle, c'est le personnel globalement vraiment pas plaisant... Cette sensation de les incommoder quasi systématiquement, une interface vraiment froide (malgré l'accueil snob avec flûte de champagne) qui semble traduire une ambiance de travail assez délétère.
Nous avions fait juste avant un autre hôtel en 4 étoiles (Lux Lisboa Park) : rien à voir, ils étaient très agréables !
Donc à choisir, aucune hésitation !

Relatively new hotel (2017) and quiet as it is located on a side street. Modern rooms.
Pros:
- free coffee, tea, water, and biscuits in their business lounge on - 1
- breakfast was amazing! Well worth getting it if only 15-20 euros more
- comfy beds, I got a good night's sleep
- power showers and hot
- good soundproofing in rooms
- wifi was free, fast, and reliable
- there's an outdoor pool and an indoor heated jet pool
- Hertz right next door to pickup or drop off rental cars
Cons:
- no free nespresso coffee. You have to pay for each pod. Bring your own!
- curtains let in light, not ideal for light sensitive sleepers
- sauna and steam room access require extra fee per stay
- parking is 17 euros a day
- Bathroom is open style. So only share a room if you are intimate with your partner!
- shower and bedroom is only separated by a glass wall!
- barely walking distance to main sites, although Uber is so cheap to most places
Overall I would say standard is 4 stars. I would stay here if rates were 100-140 euros, any higher and it might be hard to justify.

nota 100. Camareiras gentis. Recepcao educada e profissional, com especial menção ao Daniel. O maximo em gentileza. Localização ótima, perto da Praça Marques de Pombal. Tudo novo, limpinho e cheiroso. Uma delícia! Quero voltar!

Inexperienced staff, shambolic check-in process, and overall terrible experience so far. Wasted many hours trying to check in. We arrived early. The hotel says “just let us know if you will be early and we will try to accommodate you”. I understand this is not a promise, however he still wanted to take my card details - presumably to stop us looking elsewhere for another hotel. Anyway this was not the main problem.
Eventually we are able to check in, I have left my partner in a restaurant, I am gone for one HOUR to complete this process. The queue was awful, 20 minutes to be seen. No apology, no update, just me standing there like a lemon trying to be served.
When I am being served I explain calmly that my partner is waiting for me with a cold bottle of wine and I’ve already spent 10 mins coming here and another 20 mins waiting. He spends ages faffing around, and I then understand he was struggling to print out some “voucher” for breakfast that I didn’t ask for! Why did he do this, he knew I was rushing.
When I am shown up to the room, it’s a twin room, we booked a double.
He says “you can put the beds together”.
Horrendous. I point out that the bedside table is BETWEEN the beds so it’s not even possible.
I find the email, show him it says “city view superior double”, and he says “it is a superior room with city view”, so that’s okay. I repeat DOUBLE that means one bed not two small beds. I am extremely clear, he understand what I am saying because his English is good, but he doesn’t think this is a problem.
I had to pay EUR 570 BEFORE I was even shown the room!
I am extremely angry, what a disgraceful service.
I am writing this review as I sit in the WRONG room, my partner is drinking wine in a restaurant down the road and I cannot even check in to the correct room.
I was LEFT in this room with three large luggage bags, no update, I telephoned downstairs to ask what is happening, he said “3 minutes please”. I waited on my own in an empty room, like a prisoner, for a further TWENTY minutes.
Why did nobody show me to the bar, at the very least?

I am still waiting in this room that isn’t mine. My partner is drinking wine at a restaurant.
Eventually I am becoming more and more angry. I left a restaurant early to book in as we are on business and I needed to ensure I had an acceptable room in which I could work.
So I blew my top: I pushed three roller bags into the lifts and shouted at reception. I hate doing this. I asked for the manager.
I was placated by the manager who showed me to a new room, a few floors down. I said it was too small to work in (I have a lot of editing to complete whilst travelling) so I was shown to another larger room, however it was on the first floor overlooking the road. So yes bigger room, but downgraded view.
At no point was I offered a drink (I was promised a “welcome drink”!!!) and my partner later had to go down to reception to get this, to calm me down!
This is surely the worst 5 star hotel in Lisbon.
AVOID - just go to the Intercontinental nearby and pay a few extra Euros, it is surely worth it.
Evidence of this misfortune in attached pic. Yes it’s a bit sad posting photos of a room and a receipt on Google, but what else was there to do whilst waiting in my prison cell for someone to fetch me?!

The room was very nice. It could have been bigger for the price. The toiletries were of good quality. Service is excellent. The staff speak English. The breakfast is very good and worth the 20 euro price. Lunch and dinner is available at the hotel restaurant. The dishes are well made, though the fare is limited. Bus tours of the city are available nearby.

Para um hotel novo, tem certos problemas como o elevador que não faz lembrar ninguém. O staff parece estar sempre sobre pressão o que se nota no atendimento.
Em relação às vistas há bem melhores no centro de Lisboa.
Edit: Tive que voltar a este hotel e de 3 estrelas tenho que mudar para 1 estrela. Um hotel que abriu talvez nem 6 meses tem o staff mais mal encarado que apanhei ao longo das minhas viagens. Não há um olá, um bom dia, um sorriso... E mais uma vez noto que as relações entre funcionários não é saudável.
