Food was nothing special, and the staff could be a tiny bit kinder. However, the wine choices were impeccable - which is the true reason why one chooses this place.

Hermoso y acogedor lugar. En primer lugar, Alfonso nos recibio con mucha calidez y nos asesoró para conseguir el vino perfecto para nosotros. Luego vino la comida, tabla de quesos, carne roja, bacalao y zetas rellenas. Exquisitos cada uno de los platos.
Ricardo tambien nos hizo sentir como en casa. Mi lugar preferido en Lisboa.

Servicio muy atento. Local moderno. La comida se presenta en platillos que por precio puede resultar caro. El bacalao al horno muy bueno presentado junto a una ensalada. Los postres el cheesecake muy rico y el mousse de chocolate con pimienta tenía textura caramelizada exquisita. Las copas de vino blanco entre 5 y 6 euros

Suelo hacer comentarios en google después de visitar dos veces un lugar y aquí no hubo excepción: llegamos un viernes por la tarde y conocimos a Ricardo que nos atendió super bien; un chico que se nota conoce de vinos y ya puestos en Portugal, era nuestra intención probar vinos portugueses.
Cada sugerencia fue mejor que la anterior, y con cada copa, nos notificaba antes de servir el precio. Picamos algo, y en total tomamos 4 copas de distintos vinos.
Dos días después, volvimos por la noche para hacer un aperitivo; Ricardo no estaba ( fue un error quedarnos) y se notaba en el trato correcto pero sin mucho esfuerzo. Pedimos una copa del PRINCIPAL (blanco) gran vino que Ricardo el viernes nos informó, costaba 15€ c/u. Lo siguiente fue pedir una copa del PRINCIPAL pero tinto y aquí viene el gran problema: la persona que nos atendió, no tuvo la delicadeza de informarnos que cada copa de este vino la cobran a la ( ridícula) suma de 45€!
Ha sido la peor tomadura de pelo en nuestro viaje a Lisboa. Nos sentimos engañados y estafados así que definitivamente es un lugar que no recomendaré. Lo siento por ti Ricardo!

This spot has a nice ambience thats perfect for a date or a relaxing drink with friends. Great customer service and recommendations, great Portuguese wine and I loved the half cured sheep cheese with Pumpkin jam.

Lamento ter de fazer uma crítica negativa, pois considerei o atendimento muito simpático. Sucede que 5€ por umas pequenas tirinhas (finíssimas) de queijo da ilha, 9€ por ovos mexidos instantâneos (sim, isto existe) e ainda cobrarem 1€ só pelo azeite para molhar o pão já passa o nível do caro, para o nível de “ladroagem”. Não é aceitável mesmo considerando o sucesso da zona. Não me importaria de pagar pelo facto de estar no Cais do Sodré, em zona turística, mas desde que houvesse qualidade e razoabilidade. Infelizmente não é o caso.

Richard was an excellent host, the wine was excellent and the bar had a great atmosphere. I didn't walk in expecting to buy a bottle but left very happy with my purchase and can't wait to try it.

Después de pedir la comida, nos sugirió un vino blanco , la atención estuvo bien asta que a la camarera en un descuido se le cayera la Copa de vino encima mio y no tuvieron el mínimo detalle de ni siquiera de invitar nada y cobrar toda la botella . La comida bien pero calidad precio y atención mal.

É pequeno e acolhedor, mas por ser pequeno torna-se impossível não ouvir conversas alheias e é desagradável ver conflitos entre funcionários serem tratados e comentados entre si à frente dos clientes. Para o empregadO que nos atendeu, seria importante notar que nós clientes não temos culpa das suas frustrações para com os colegas e não temos o direito de ser presenteados com os palavrões, os desabafos, o atirar de talheres, os suspiros, o frete o aborrecimento que sente por achar que uma colega levanta mais ou menos mesas com mais ou menos vontade. É sempre importante na minha opinião, e falo por experiência (porque também já fui o empregado de mesa revoltado com o menor desempenho de um colega), não deixar que o cliente se aperceba desse tipo de comentários ditos "para o ar" pois podem não compreender, nem têm que, o contexto, a situação por de trás e em última instância apenas vê esse comentário/atitude como algo desagradável e desconfortável.
PS, percebo que principalmente no final do turno, perto da hora de fecho, se um cliente pergunta se ainda pode beber um copo, 1o o funcionário não tem de tratar o cliente como se lhe estivesse a fzr o especial favor de lhe deixar entrar so pq tem de sujar mais 2 copos, 2o não tem que achar que só porque o cliente em questão (estrangeiro - Asiático) possa não compreender algum tipo de maneirismos e comentários em Português que não há outros clientes atentos a esses mesmos comentários (lá está o problema de espaços pequenos). No entanto teria todo o interesse em lá voltar porque a comida é muito bem apresentada e a carta de vinhos é interessante. Não quero de todo Crucificar nenhum funcionário nem tão pouco quero que seja repreendido, mas seria importante alertar para corrigir um pequeno traço de postura que faz toda a diferença entre uma experiência boa, recomendável e uma experiência para nunca mais esquecer (porque são experiências más que o ser humano melhor recorda)

Amazing spot! I recommend going there for lunch (the restaurant is not as crowded and the sommelier has time for you so the experience is Awesome!!) We had great food (beignet of Bacalhau, Bacalhau Foie Gras, Cheese plate) and we took the Sommelier’s recommendation regarding wine. He also had us taste other drinks like Porto, old rhum, XO... so delicious :) We had a great time, the staff was super friendly. Best experience in Lisbon for me and my sister. Don’t miss out!

Perfect place if you are looking for a calm and chill spot to taste and try a variety of vines. Food was very delicious. The price is cheap also compared to other places. Would definetely come back again and reccommend it to others!

Wine Cellar is the best place to take in what Lisboa has to offer in terms of wine (and port). The manager, Ricard, is so welcoming and ensures he understands your tastes to match it with the best wine for YOU. It is a unique and personal approach that we appreciated so much. I visited Lisbon for 5 days with my bestie in April and we had to come back a second time!

Good selection of wines from Portugal including many choices by the glass. Some can be a bit on the expensive side but the staff is friendly and helpful and will try to get you what you are looking for at any price point. They also speak excellent English.
P.S. Definitely order the cheese board; all six cheeses (all from Portugal) are absolutely delicious.

Ottima cena e ottimi vini gustati in una graziosa enoteca a due passi dalla stazione della metro e dei treni di Cais do Sodrè. L'oste era molto preparato e ha saputo consigliarci i migliori vini in rapporto qualità/prezzo in abbinamento con quanto mangiato. Spesa in linea coi prezzi di Lisbona e con quanto mangiato e bevuto.

Walked by this place a few time the past few days. Decided out of the blue to enter to buy a glass of wine just now. My choice was a vinho verde. Delicious. The gentleman who answered my many questions about Portuguesa wines was helpful. If you love wines, this is the place.

Great place. Had and amazing glass of 2007 alentejo and a 20 year old tawny. Staff know allot about their wines and are more than happy to share that knowledge.
Although I haven't tried other wine bars in Lisbon (only took a peek inside), my gut feelings says this is probably one of the nicer ones.

Wet nice wine. Portuguese wine is so underrated. We had amazing server, very food suggestions and great experience. One server seemed off. Was high and kept drinking wine. But we didn’t have his so our experience was amazing.

El restaurante es pequeñito pero bastante acogedor. Los camareros son amables y hablan en varios idiomas al igual que la carta (así que no tienes problemas). Poseen una gran variedad de vinos. Con respecto a la comida, buena de sabor y de cantidad ( algunos platos algo caro para lo que son), me hubiese gustado encontrar alguna que otra tapa y no plato comoleto.
Es un sitio agradable y coqueto donde ir a tomarte un vino y charlar agradablemente.

Absolutely amazing place. Manager knows his wine and his passion shows. He will take time to make sure you are getting exactly what you want. If you describe what you like, he will take his time to match you’re likes with the perfect wine or port. You will not go wrong here!

Very comfortable evening. The staff participate in the selection of the food and the wine, their experience and recommendations proved worthwhile. Not many tables but seemingly plenty of space for everyone.
Great background music too.

Great selection of wine, it was a very special experience even for a 'wine-novice' just like me. The service was very helpful and gave a great recommendation. The place is quite small but by that also very cosy. You can definetely spend some very nice hours here.

Отличный уютный винный бар. Большой выбор вин на любой вкус. Официант Бенни очень внимательно выслушал наши вкусы и предпочтения и подобрал потрясающее вино. Так же вкусные закуски сыр и хамон. Позитивная атмосфера. Мы пришли около 21, в 22 часа уже было много народу.

Great Portuguese experience! The staff members are extremely polite and helpful. The wine list is professionally selected and impressed me. The food might be a bit overpriced, but was quite tasty.

Começando pelo facto do empregado ter recolocado um talher que caiu ao chão de volta na mesa com a maior das naturalidades, de se ter enganado no pedido e não ter corrigido a falha ( foi pedido polvo só com salada e ele trouxe so com batata), ao detalhe que já foi mencionado aqui de que a comida é feita na sala e os preços serem demasiado inflacionados, não voltarei a visitar ou sugerir esta casa a ninguém
Relativamente aos pratos em si, a confecção é boa, o bife e o polvo estavam bons, o pato um pouco salgado mas saboroso.
Talvez tenha tido azar no dia, mas não fiquei nada convencido com o restaurante

We found this place by accident and omg I am a complete fan!!!!! The food.... fantastic, the wine.... over-the-top. The service from Mario unforgettable! We had both of the bacalhao dishes and the duck confit. It's no question as to IF we will be back but HOW SOON.

Op een regenachtig dag hier naar binnen gegaan en een paar uur later pas weer vertrokken. Wat begon met een glas wijn werd een avond van heerlijke proeverijtjes met diverse heerlijke wijnen. De bediening was top en hebben de keuzes van de hapjes en wijnen aan hen overgelaten. Als je in Lissabon bent is dit echt aan te raden fantastisch.

Somos españoles, pareja de 48 años,debe ser k no estamos dentro de su selecto perfil, no nos dejaron entrar por no tener "reserva" , detrás de nosotros entraron dos parejas de ingleses y no tuvieron problema.
Nadie les pregunto si tenían reservado, debe ser k les interan mas.
Nefasto trato.
Para su información, nos dedicamos al negocio de la hostelería y estábamos visitando la zona por negocios.

Comida e vinhos muito bons. Os empregados tambem sao muito acolhedores. Os bifes custam 16€ e são de tamanho mini. Alguns de nós tivemos de comer mais qualquer coisa a seguir. Os bifes são grelhados no meio da sala. Não é uma boa ideia pois ficamos com a roupa a cheirar a grelhados. Apesar da qualidade da cozinha, não recomendo.

Stumbled across this place and was seated promptly around 10pm. We had the six cheese board and some wine recommended by the waiter. Super cozy, nice music and if possible sit next to the window to watch the world go by! They even gave us a free glass of Port after asking us to relocate.

Avec 5 autres amis nous avons attendu 20 mn pour obtenir une table (l'endroit est petit). Sans regret. Personnel sympa avec une animation de qualité (un guitariste reprenait de célèbres morceaux). Rien à dire sur les plats. Allez-y !
