Fantastico tapas bar dell’Alfama. In un locale che sembra uscito dalla casa di una bis nonna, tra sedie e mobili retrò, sono servite delle ottime tapas a base di formaggi e salumi portoghesi e i classici piatti a base di sardine e baccalà. Offre un’ampia varietà di birre artigianali locali e il servizio è rapido e mai scortese (ma un po’ distaccato).
Consigliato sia per uno spuntino veloce che per un pranzo.

Perfect stop for an early evening beer break down the hill from the castle. Just a few tables inside but also seating outside where you can enjoy your craft beer or giant glasses of wine while listening to fado from the neighboring restaurants. Lively area with a mix of tourists and locals. English spoken, and friendly service. Didn’t try the food.

This little restaurant is right next to a bigger one that seems more likely of a place to go eat. But don’t go to the big one go to this little family run restaurant serving a super tasty fire grilled chorizo and thirst quenching sangrias.

Excellent reception by the owners, friendly and informative. Although it was january the place was warm and the streets outside were a great place to overhear fado from the tight alleyways and small cafes all around... great sardines and beer. we stayed nearby so it was a local and perfect for reviving after a hard day of high culture... and my only complaint is that we didnt have time spend more time there!

I visited in February so may not be representative. The staff were nice, but the doors were wide open and it was chilly in the evening. I ordered a salad (bacalhau) which was cold. It was certainly big but not very nice. The staff who served me didn’t speak Portuguese (or very little) which, as a non native Portuguese speaker myself, found a bit disappointing - wanted to practice but it also loses authenticity - this wasn’t the first place in Lisbon where I noted this though, seems to be a trend now...
Overall I wouldn’t go back because I was disappointed with the food - but some of the other food looked nice, so it was likely bad luck

Un po' difficile da trovare, noi vi ci siamo imbattuti per caso, girovagando per le viuzze del borgo molto caratteristiche.
Il locale è pulito ed accogliente, fatto quasi interamente in legno, ha un tocco molto particolare.
Abbiamo mangiato solo due hamburger che si sono rivelati essere i migliori della vacanza, i prezzi sono più che accettabili (abbiamo speso qualcosa come 15 euro in due).

Ce petit resto/bar est situé au cœur de l’alfama, ils ont une petite terrasse très prisée aux heures des repas , mais très agréable car elle est sur une minuscule placette .
On mange des tapas , des sandwichs chaud au chorizo et fromage , on boit un bière locale ou du vihno verde, c’est l’endroit idéal pour faire une pause .
Les prix sont très doux !!!

Good spot if you want to enjoy some of the Fado songs from the neighbours. The spot is in the middle of the old center and has some local beers and bites on the menu. In the late afternoon we had some flies visiting us...

I really enjoyed the Algarvia salad, which was simple and very mediterranean (almost like a Greek Salad but without the feta and peppers). The Chouriço Assado was very enjoyable and mildly charred by the flame, but beware that it's quite salty, like most cured meats will be. The Tosta Medrosa, which is toasted bread with goat cheese and chouriço, was very good. I don't particularly like their brand of Guarana (they use Guarana Brasil, whereas I prefer Guarana Antarctica), however, they do make some tasty drinks with gooseberry syrup (I recommend you try the Groselha). One surprise on the menu was that this restaurant has an impressive craft beer selection, so if you're into craft beer, this is the place for you!
The service was quite good when I went, and the prices are reasonable. I would definitely come back.

Awesome find in the alleys of Lisbon. Not a big place, but it’s cozy to sit in one of their tables, have some sardines/fish and a glass of wine. Service was very nice and friendly.

Super endroit pour boire l'apéro et manger quelques tapas. Nous avons pris une planche mixte charcuterie fromage et avons été agréablement surpris par le goût des produits. Le seul bémol (pour nous français)serait la quantité de pain qui manquait un peu. Le patron est très sympa. De la terrasse extérieure vous pouvez même profitez du fado du restaurant d'à côté. Très bon endroit pour un début de soirée.

It is a nice cosy cafe in a bustling Alfama neighborhood with good terrace seating. I liked the sangria which was quite reasonably priced -330ml@3€, 500ml@4€. The sangria also has a tinge of soda which is quite unique and adds a refreshing change to the traditional sangria.

Sangria boa e petiscos. Não provei outros itens do cardápio. Casa simpática, atendentes atenciosos. Produtos alternativos, bio, lembranças, chás, peças de cerâmica, cadernos artesanais, muita coisa bonita. Precinhos justos!

Pyszne jedzenie, miła obsługa, świetne położenie czego chcieć więcej. Ceny również bardzo dobre. Myślę, że w okolicy nie da się znaleźć czegoś lepszego za tak niską cenę. Osobiście polecam tosta SERRANA z pyszną szynką i jeszcze lepszym serem, serwowanego wraz z chipsami. Posiadają tu również pyszne przystawki i wyśmienite wino (Sangrię).

Amazing place for some sangria or just a beer to refresh from the summer. They also have amazing portuguese bruschetta, chouriço and salads. I recommend the salad with bacalhau and chickpea.

Es un lugar chiquitito con mucho encanto en El Barrio de Alfama. La dueña es súper amable, tiene terracita donde por las noches corre un aire muy agradable... y la comida está muy buena. Relación calidad-precio espectacular :) si vuelvo a Lisboa repetiré sin dudarlo.

We went here after Sao raffael to improve bad taste left in our mouths and we succeeded. Sangria is wonderful, food also and the staff is very friendly... Thumbs up.

Mais si c’est pour ouvrir un établissement autant proposé des choses cuisinées...
Petit établissement dans un coin pas très loin du château. Pas de quoi sauter au plafond. L'établissement est proposé dans le Lonely Planer Lisbonne comme une étape tranquille.
D’accord, mais question nourriture, ce n’est pas trop ça... ce qui est proposé est trop trop simple à mon goût. Le rapport qualité prix n’y est pas ! Je vous invite à descendre un peu plus bas.
Même pas la moyenne ! D’ailleurs si je pouvais ne pas mettre d’étoile, je n’en mettrais pas.

A éviter, tout comme certains restaurants situés dans les quartiers touristiques. La nourriture est quelconque avec une note salée : le prix des plats est le double des autres bonnes adresses et le prix des boissons exhorbitant !! Au mieux on y va pour l'ambiance avec le fado pour distraction ... il s'agit bien là du seul agrément.

En realitat és entre forn i bar i fa també de botiga.
És un espai petit i acollidor a un carreró d'Alfama, amb tauletes petites on serveixen alguns plats i on es poden comprar productes portuguesos.
Nosaltres vam parar per fer un cafè i provar el "pastel de nata" i vam tenir molt bona experiencia, bona qualitat i preus barats, atenció molt amable.

Hemos tenido una buena cena con un acompañamiento de fado que ha estado bien pero que quizás esperaba mucho más. El precio con una ensalada y unas sardinas ha sido de 42 €con lo que tampoco ha acompañado al resto. Creo que es un poco caro...

Terrasse agréable . restaurant pour touristes assez bon malgré tout.. patron hyper désagréable qui humilie ses serveurs.... devant tout le monde.. pauvres gars !!! Quel courage ! Ils sont charmants pourtant... soirée fado sympa mais c'est presque gênant de manger pendant qu'ils chantent...peu de respect pour leur art...un truc à touristes....

Très étonnés par les avis élogieux qui nous ont conduit ici.
L'accueil est à peine poli. La planche d'assortiment charcuterie/fromage à 9€ est assez légère.
Les tartines sont bonnes mais très banales.
La carte est plus orientée snack que restaurant.
Il y a d'autre adresses bien plus intéressantes dans le quartier.

This is a great little tapas and sandwich shop in Alfama. We have stopped in for wine and bites three or four times while staying in Alfama and this is definitely one of the best places to eat or just relax with a glass of wine midday. With the arrival of the cruise ships the quality of food has suffered in many places. This is one place that is still worth visiting.

Tourist trap. Right after seated the waiter brings you some fingergood and asks if it was you who ordered it. Before even looking at the menu. They did it to us and we saw him doing the same trick to other tables. Food is pricy and average. I ordered a stew of seafood and was quite sick for a day afterwards. Look around a bit more you find nicer places.

Good Tapas food, Grilled octopus was really nice, 3 dishes with a bottle of wine and bread was very reasonably priced and suitably filling for 2 people sharing.

Kellner war unfreundlich.
Rechnung ist eine notiz. Unbedingt genau prüfen.
Vorspeise wird angeboten ohne dass bestellt wurde..kosten stolze 14 euros und ist das geld nicht wert.
Pommes frites ist sehr schlecht und das essen ist auch nicht gut. Alles war fettig und in öl getränkt. Ich empfehle dieses restaurant nicht. Gibt in der nähe genügend andere gute restaurants.

Não recomendo. A gastronomia é razoável, o atendimento foi salvo pelo Sr. Francisco. O que salva o local é a fadista Naná, que dá um show a parte. Cuidado com a conta que vai numa caderneta, é bom conferir com muito cuidado.

The food is pretty good - a bit overpriced compared to other places within a ten minute walk, but good. Just be careful -- they thrust things on your table that you may think come with the meal, like plates of ham / cheese / chorizo / bottled water, but you will find additional charges of €6 or so for each item on your bill at the end of the night. So if they do this and you don't want it, give them a firm NO before they put it down and leave you with it. They had fado singers throughout the evening / night. They have a nice large outdoor seating area which is very inviting, and which adds a bit of levity to the emotional quality of fado. All in all a good place, just be ready to both pay a bit more but also protect yourself from extra charges. Know this and nip this in the bud, and you will have have a very pleasant evening here.
