Happy-Donkeys Sanctuary Algarve: I bought a pair of sunglasses from Alberto Oculistas in Continente Portimão especially for riding a motorcycle. Before I tried 4 different models at the shop and was assisted by one of their salesman who accompanied me outside the shop so I could try them in natural sun light. I explained I needed them to drive a motorbike, and he advised me the model I ended up buying. When I arrived home I soon noticed that at a certain angle the colors suddently change and returned to the shop 2 days later and was attended by a lady salesmen who confirmed that these changing of colour is very dangerous by riding a motorcycle. She than discussed the issue with the shop manager, who refused to reimburse me. When she came back she had changed her behaviour towards my partner and me, said that I had tried out 4 glasses and therefore she could not give me the money back. When we approached her, that she previously agreed that these glasses were dangerous for motorcycling she answerd that this was just her personal opinion and had nothing to do with the glasses!!! They offered to replace the sun glasses, but did not have the model I wanted and needed time to research, and had they found one in stock, the price was 57€ more than in other shops, as I later researched. They insisted that it was very clear on the invoice (small letters, barely readable) that they do not give a refund ! That is preposterous, as you only given the invoice after payment is completed !!!!! As it was clear they were not going to refund me the money, i asked for the Complaint Book, which they could not find and we were asked to wait, about 20 minutes, while they get one at their other premises ! This is a law infringement, and we had the right to make an official complaint to the police. Well, Alberto Oculistas: giving wrong advice, not willing to correct the mistake and getting disgusting unfriendly.

Pete Rowell: We had a great experience with Optica Arade, and I would highly recommend them. Miguel was very professional and patient in giving me and my wife advice on our options for lenses and glasses which we really appreciated and would return again when we next need eye tests and glasses.

Eu dou quatro estrelas a esta loja de penhores porque no mundo das lojas de penhores, eles fazem o que fazem muito bem. Só tens de ser tão duro como eles. Eu encontrei grandes negócios, incluindo muitas guitarras, armas ou duas, uma vez uma faca de arco e marcou um grande negócio num amplificador de guitarra de tubo uma vez. Vendi-lhes guitarras e levei uma tareia, mas é de se esperar isso. Também levou mais de nove meses para ver aqueles violões venderem a parede, então eles tiveram que carregar aquele dinheiro todo aquele tempo. Como as lojas de penhores vão, desde que limparam e reorganizaram a loja, elas não são ruins. Mas lembre-se que eles estão lá para ganhar dinheiro, não lhe faça nenhum favor. Por isso, tens de regatear e estar disposto a andar, o que eu já fiz uma ou duas vezes. E para ser honesto, acho-os melhores do que a maioria das outras lojas de penhores na área de Cleveland.

Levei lá as minhas rodas e pneus de parede branca novinhos em folha, foram muito rápidos, mas coloquei-os ao contrário da primeira vez. Da segunda vez, quando os levei de volta para que eles pudessem consertá-los, eles pareciam agitados e quando os levei de volta as paredes brancas foram arranhadas e as 2 das 4 rodas foram arranhadas severamente ao longo da borda e deixe-me lembrá-los que estas eram novinhas em folha que eu ia colocar no meu carro de exposição. O tipo diz que era experiente. Não, ele não fazia a menor ideia. Muito desapontado. Eu não recomendaria trazer o seu belo veículo ou jantes para esta loja.
