The service was great and the staff are really attentive. You never find yourself passively aggressively staring at a waiter hoping to get their attention. The wine was superb and the oxtail croquettes were spectacular and unique. I got the cod and it was melt in the mouth. Only reason why I did not give 5 stars is because there were bones in my fish.

We were served by the manager, Arnaldo. He is has reached WSET Level 4 certification, which requires an incredible amount of study time and work experience. Arnaldo is continuing his trek through WSET and the Master of Wine institute, which would place him among the best in the world within 2-3 years. I am working my way up the wine industry as well and this restaurant is fantastic in every way. My friend Alex and I were blown away by the food, wine, and service and we concluded this was the highlight of our Europe trip. The restaurant is small and not too crowded, which allows them to concentrate on service. My friend and I tried the tasting menu and basic wine pairing, which comes to around 85 euros. You can dine here for much cheaper for the 85 euros was worth every penny. Ask for Arnaldo.

Ресторан оставил неоднозначные впечатления. Кухня неплохая, однако порции небольшие, и качество не вполне соответствует ожиданиям и цене. Выбор вина для дегустации большой, однако большинство из них португальские и не слишком высокого уровня.

This place was AMAZING! We went for the deluxe wine pairing menu, and you should, too. If you're creating your own meal, especially loved the lamb and duck plates.
The ambiance is really cool, as well. I love purple, so I was in love just from the color pallette.
The location is a bit tucked away, but definitely worth finding. There's also a great cocktail bar, basically nextdoor -- 86 Cocktail Bar -- perfect for a pre or post dinner beverage.
For us the price wasn't so bad, compared to what we would have paid back home for a similar experience. If money is tight, make this your big night out.

Amazing food, we liked octopus and black linguine. Very good service however be aware of the bread which is not complimentary. Also no one asked us about refreshing the water, they’ve just included that in the bill.
Bathroom door was broken which isn’t something you’d expect from €€€ restaurant.
Apart from that very good experience, as I said food is really great!

무릇 사람들은 이율배반적인 것을 꺼려하며, 한가지에 대해 혹평 또는 호평 둘 중 하나만을 할 수밖에 없다.
그러나 리스본에서 난 자신의 이율배반적 감상을 느끼고 당황해 마지않을 수 없었다.
들어섰을 때부터 "Madam?"이라며 의자를 빼 주는 서버와, 빵 하나를 내면서도 네 가지 소스에 대해 설명해주는 친절함, 화이트 와인을 골랐더니 두 가지 와인을 조금씩 따라주고 선택하라는 세심함, 심지어 냅킨의 부드러움까지...!
그러나 이 집에 긴 줄이 없었다는 데에 통탄을 금할 수 없었다. 아니 어째서...? 우리는 짬뽕밥이나 문어다리에 소중한 체류시간을 쏟을 것이 아니라, 이런 보석같은 가게에서 낭만적인 저녁식사를 기념해야 한다. 탱글거리는 대구요리, 간이 알맞은 새우 파스타, 거기에 fkj 의 노래를 BGM으로 선곡하는 센스까지.
나는 이런 집에 줄도 없다는 데에 호평을 쏟을 수밖에 없었고, 무려 이런 집에 줄을 서지 않는 포르투갈인의 조예에 혹평을 금치 않을 수 없었다.
이것은 결코 와인에 취해서 쓰는 후기가 아니다... 으으 취한다ㅏㅏㅏ.....

Tomamos menú degustación, le doy 4 estrellas porque no está mal de calidad y sales saciado a pesar de gastarte 70€ persona. Creo que es un quiero y no puedo. Le falta mayor elaboración y más criterio en la selección de platos. Por ejemplo en el segundo entran con cordero y en el cuarto con pato... creo que deben mejorar

Great concept for a self serve wine tasting. Everyone has a card and pics whichever wine you like. Have a taster or a full glass once you find a good one. Food was excellent too and servers were friendly and patient with the questions. Great for groups

Good opportunity to spend NYE, thanks to Christina, our remarkable waiter. We were granted a wonderful guide to wines and every small need was satisfied. Meat steaks were good and served quickly. She even told us as a tourist what to do next tonight.
If only I could know how to reduce the level of noise inside!..

We were a table of two on a Saturday night and took the dining experience (65€) with a classic wine extra for each dish (+35€).
The service was amazing, but they had weird wine pairing which to me despite the "original" choice wasn't matching (white wine with lamb and red wine with cod).
Aside of a few missed dishes (spinach was chewy and duck magret was watery), the overall experience was pleasant. I suggest it for a fine dining experience, but without the pretention of a Michelin star dining. Props for the staff in which serving was consistent, friendly and very professional.

I had some wine here last night. Loved it! I'll be back for sure!
Okay, I went back. Very limited vegetarian options. I ordered the beet soup which was fabulous but was very disappointed in the salad. It was my main course and at 14€ I expected something of a reasonable size and quality. It was "maybe" a cup and a half and was very marginal. My bill which included one glass of wine along with my soup and salad came to 30€. Terrible quantity, quality and price for a dinner for one. I did complain and was told they would pass it on to the management. I walked out under-whelmed and under fed. Good experience when I went earlier for wine alone though.

Ristorante elegante, con incredibile scelta di vini al bicchiere, ci sono decine di etichette fra cui scegliere. I piatti sono buoni, porzioni non grandissime, e prezzi comunque giusti. Servizio attento e professionale.

Nous avons passé une excellente soirée à Lisbonne dans ce restaurant.
Les produits sont très bons et cuisinés de façon très justes! Un vrai régal.
Concernant l'accord mets & vins, un délice parfois surprenant mais toujours très adapté avec une sommelière très intéressante qui connait les vins et sait vous raconter leurs histoires.
Je recommande vivement ce restaurant :)

When my husband and I arrived we immediately commented on their tremendous selection of wines. They offered us a 16 ( 8 white 8 red) tasting prior to our meal. It was a phenomenal experience and the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was exceptional as well. It’s definitely a unique experience if you like to sample multiple wines before ordering a bottle or glass. Atmosphere is clean, relaxing and cozy. I only didn’t give it 5 stars because a few of the dishes were slightly under seasoned for our taste. However the staff brought us salt as soon as we asked. Overall excellent experience!

Outstanding! This restaurant delivers exceptionally in every part of the dining out experience. A warm welcome, experienced and attentive service, delicious, professionally prepared and presented food with an extensive wine and Port selection to please everyone. We enjoyed beef and seafood entrees that left a lasting impression of the finer culinary opportunities in Lisbon and places we visited in Portugal. Highly recommended!

It was perfect place to enjoy food, wine and atmosphere. Every staffs were very polite and considerate, kept checking we are okay even they were really busy.
We had 6 course of food with classic wine pairing, it was just a perfect matching!
We were so impressed about everything in here, especially surprising dessert serving, and thanks a lot for helping us to have nice anniv.

Higher end restaurant in Lisbon. Quality dishes, nice atmosphere, big wine list. But with all that, you get prices more like NY City than Lisbon. But the wine sommelier was super friendly, gave great advice. Octopus was tender and the black pasta with pesto was delicious. You get what you pay for.

I'm not one to review restaurants frequently, but I am frankly compelled to write a review about this place.
When taking into account food, wine, and service, this is the best meal I have ever had in my life. Maybe I need to get out more, but I am from the NYC area and have traveled heavily in Europe, North America, and Central America. I've been to restaurants that have earned Michelin stars. This place was really something else.
The food is excellent, though not the best I've ever tasted. The Portuguese wine selection was exquisite. But what made this meal special was the service. The staff goes above and beyond the call of duty in every respect. My wife and I were blown away.
If you're in Lisbon and you're looking to treat yourself, you simply cannot pass on this opportunity.

Pricey. Food a bit above average. Good wine and service.
Definitely a place with lots of good wine. The waiters knew very much about the wine and were good at recommending the right one to match the food. We, my girlfriend and I, wanted to try the Vinho Verde as I don't like red wine. A fine experience. The restaurant was quite pricey and the food wasn't anything special. We could get a very fine and complete dinner in Copenhagen for the same price - and Copenhagen is a very expensive city. Not a place I would visit again but if you love wine and have the money to get the fuld experience I would recommend it.

Who said you cannot reach perfection? I have never been to Portugal before and made a reservation for business dinner with my colleagues. It is a great place. The word “food” is not appropriate in my understanding. It is about cuisine art...And this is just outstanding. Add good jazz and lounge music, very courteous attitude of personnel, cosy atmosphere and...you are good to go;-) I highly recommend this place to everyone for any type of event. No doubts, romantic dinner or celebration with your friends, it doesn’t really matter. You will enjoy it. As we did. For sure;-)

Les plats sont à un prix raisonnable.
Par contre le système de carte pour choisir les vins pousse à la consommation surtout si on se laisse guider par le sommelier. Et c’est là que la note peut devenir vite salée ..........
Le service est agréable et le personnel très sympathique en faisant tout son possible pour parler français.

Замечательный, уютный с качественной кухней ресторан. Удобно расположен: от площади Restauradores 5 мин. пешком. Особенно нравится там десерт. Ну а такого количества португальского вина можно встретить только здесь в ресторане Sommelier Lisbon!

le sommelier est une bonne adresse, la salle est très agréable et raffinée.
le concept de carte de credit pour permettre aux clients de se servir directement leurs verres de vin (3cl mini) est vraiment sympa bien que nous avons préféré passer par les conseils du sommelier.
mais le service est trop poussif à mon gout et force un peu à la consommation ce qui m'a vraiment gâché ma soirée

Went here on a whim, after reading the rave reviews. Unfortunately, we were not impressed... The restaurant itself looks awesome and both the wines themselves as the system with the card are very nice. The service is a bit stiff, but I guess they want to be a little upscale, so that's okay as well. The food - unfortunately - was just "ok" and certainly way too pricey. Bread and butter were simply outrageously priced (and provided without asking). At the end we (as tourists) were also reminded that service was not included in the bill in Portugal (which was certainly news for us!)... Subtle... All in all, there are way better restaurants in the neighborhood and I would only recommend if you really want to try their wide range of wines by the glass.

Absolutely amazing dinner experience. I don't comment a lot on Gmail, but I do when I'm blown away. The staff is fantastic, super nice and very welcoming. Not stuck up at all in a very nice and chic environment. The food tastes delicious, and the wine tastings are very fun. I will be back for sure and sending all my friends that visit Lisbon here. We thought this was a great find. Interesting food and tasty. Definitely try the lamb salad. The sparkling wine was great as well. We liked the format: you can be served wine or fill your own glass. The wait staff are pleasant, knowledgeable, and fun.

O atendimento foi fantástico mas esperava mais do restaurante em termos gastronómicos.
Começando pelas entradas: i) o croquetes estavam muito bons; ii) o tártaro de salmão, embora com bom sabor, pecava pela qualidade do salmão, que estava com uma textura demasiado mole.
Pratos principais: i) o prato de atum estava fantástico; ii) o prime rib estava nível médio, tirando o facto de o primeiro bife ter vindo frio, ao nível de sabor e suavidade que esperamos de numa carne matutada podia ser melhor. Os espargos de acompanhamento muito bons mesmo.
Sobremesa: Brownie em vinho do porto: i) o gelado não estava cremoso (estava cristalizado e não tinha sabor), brownie não tinha aquele sabor a chocolate que se espera mas sim a açúcar e estava seco. Já a pêra bebeda estava muito muito boa..
Relativamente ao vinho, gosto imenso do conceito mas achei os valores de alguns vinhos um pouco puxados.

這裏不便宜，但是質量很棒。在這裏吃了一餐奢侈的紅酒套餐。這裏氣氛寧靜，食物烹飪的也很棒。紅酒和這個食物搭配的非常完美。不要不捨得，一定要點這個奢侈套餐。每一分錢都花的值。

Excellent for Wine Lovers...and also for everybody. Nice and innovative concept on wine pairing, with 60+ references by the glass, chilled and well preserved. Superb atmosphere and very warm, professional staff. Food is simply great: cod, tuna, foie... Not a cheap place, but it offers an excellent value for money. If you enjoy food, wine and atmosphere, stop here...you will not be disappointed.

Amateurs de vin : s'abstenir!! Les différents vins servis lors du repas étaient nettement plus proche de certains vinaigres balsamiques plutôt que les promesses affichées.
Nous ne nous serions jamais plains car il peut arriver de tomber sur un mauvais jour mais au vu de l'addition ultra salée de 800 euros pour 6 personnes, la sanction n'est que justifiée. Rapport qualité prix tout simplement scandaleux.

Le décor est superbe, le personnel aux petits soins.
Et la cuisine est excellente surtout avec le sommelier qui vous conseille parfaitement sur l'accord mets et vins. Une adresse à retenir et où nous retournerons si nous revenons à Lisbonne.

Best of all the restaurants I've eaten at anywhere in Europe. Super comfortable, great food and believe it of not reasonably priced. Service and all combined make it a super star!!!

This was a unique experience as far as food tastes and level of service. Not just this, they have a wall full of wine bottles with a special system you can tast the wine for small money and take a glass with larger amount for full payment. It's a cool system (very high-tech). All and all it is one of the best restaurants I ever visited and worth more than one visit. I specialy recommend the testing dish where you get small dishes of al kind. Yammmmiiiiii, it was so good. Will come here again and again and again….

這是一次很棒的晚餐，完美的給我們里斯本的旅途畫上了句號。飯店有着十分愜意、高雅的氛圍，員工們人都很好，十分的熱於助人。他們都很有能力，會熱心的幫你解決問題。餐館內部十分的現代化，有很多酒架。我們都點的是牛排，煮的恰到好處，口感很棒。甜品也同樣的美味，總的來說我們都吃的心滿意足。推薦你可以點一點這的酒水，那也很不錯。店主就在一旁確認餐館正常有序的運行。你花的每一分錢都很值。我們下次來里斯本的時候還會來這的。

Excelente restaurante. Atendimento muito educado, rápido e agradável. A comida é muito diferente, saborosa e com sabores diferentes.
O garçom e sommelier explicaram a história do vinho e da comida, muito interessante. O ambiente é tranquilo, permite conversar e a musica é suave. Vamos voltar com certeza. O preço também nāo é exorbitante

Eine Empfehlung führte uns ins Sommelier. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und bekamen einen gemütlichen Tisch. Professionelle Beratung bei der Weinauswahl und ein intelligentes System auch mehrere Weine kosten zu können, machten den Besuch zu einem besonderen Erlebnis. Auch das Essen ist außergewöhnlich und findet man so kaum wo in dieser Stadt. Vielen Dank und gerne wieder!

A wine lover's destination. Entire well chosen wine list is available by the glass, and the sommelier was amazing at pairing wines with each course I chose. Don't miss the black forest ham appetizer, the warm baby lamb salad or the Azores tuna. Will definitely return on my next trip to Lisbon.
