Marker when looking for this place is the Hard Rock Cafe Restaurant, it's at the back of the same building. Multiple metro station nearby, walking distance to almost anywhere. in the city.
The only hotel out of the 5 hotels we stayed at in Spain and Portugal for 12-days where freshly cooked breakfast is served. We were glad we stayed here. We won't hesitate to stay here again when in Portugal.

Stayed in a room for 3 adults. Room was small and we could barely keep our luggage in.
Location is excellent. Reception staff is very helpful. Breakfast is nice. Cleanliness is good. Basic toiletries provided in bathroom. WiFi is excellent.
Overall a nice place to stay if you are travelling light.

The location was fantastic. Easy to reach - blue line metro is 2 blocks away - plethora of restaurants nearby - wifi was great - Saddiq and Hussein were very pleasant and very helpful with directions, trains trams etc. as were their staff. I would happily stay again if I head to Lisbon -would have been nice to have a kettle for tea and coffee - but stay was excellent -

Lovely little warm Hotel with wonderful staff, I was very happy with everything here it basically has everything I needed for the stay plus a delicious breakfast (included) every morning to start the day with full of energy, I can’t wait to return for a longer stay.

Уютный, относительно недорогой отель в самом центре Лиссабона, можно ходить пешком до всех достопримечательностей.
Обычные завтраки, маленькие комнаты (достаточно чтобы комфортно переночевать), приветливый персонал. Рекомендую!

観光の拠点とするには便利です。歩いてどこにでも行けますし、メトロの駅も直ぐにあるので歩かなくてもどこにでも行けます。
また、ベルトラで予約してオプションツアーに参加したのですが、集合場所まで2分位なので便利です。
5分くらいのところにスーパーマーケットもあるので簡単なお土産を買ったり、水を買ったりも出来ます。
ホテルは最低限の設備ですが清潔ですし、朝食も美味しかったです。

My sister and I stayed at HOtel Portunese in January - 3 nights from the 2nd of Jan and then another 3 nights from the 8th of January. We each had a single room with on-suite. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The only thing we missed was a kettle but we could ask for boiling water so that was a nice compromise.
The hotel is in a great location. The ongoing building work (to finish this year apparently) over the road did not bother us although I expect the amount of dirt that guests traipsed in drove the staff mad!
The breakfast had all the basics and the coffee was good. Everyone was helpful and friendly. We both particularly want to say thank you to Saddiq and Hussein.for the fun conversations. They were the loveliest pair of fellows and totally made our stay. We would not hesitate to stay here again and will recommend it to any of our friends. Long may the hotel prosper!

Buena ubicación. Desayuno aceptable. No hay tostador.
Habitacion limpia y comoda. Temperatura perfecta. Con aire acondicionado. Tv y wifi.
Colgador de ropa muy pequeño para 3 que eramos.
Echo en falta espejo de cuerpo entero y baldas en el baño.
Trato adecuado.

Accueil très sympathique, très bien situé. Les gérants donne de bon conseil, on a pu imprimer nos cartes d'embarquement. Je recommande vivement pour la situation et la qualité de l'accueil.

Das TV-Gerät in diesem Einzelzimmer war zuweit oben angebracht, so das man steil nach oben schauen mußte, auf dem Bett sitzend (Gerät direkt ggüber des Bettes). Bei einer Gesamtbreite des Zimmers von1;80 Meter war dies dauerhaft nicht machbar. Es gab eh nur 1 deutschen Sender(dt. Welle). Alles andere war angenehm. Bedienstete alle sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Hotel est au coeur de Lisbonne dans une rue très calme . Super accueil par une famille très sympathique .petit déjeuné très bon et complet. No recomiendo. A nuestra llegada una gran obra en la misma calle con los obreros a la altura de nuestra ventana, lo cual nos obliga a tener todo cerrado para que nos vean. Muchísimo ruido tanto del personal del hotel como de otros huéspedes ya que las puertas son finísima y con poca seguridad. Por no tener no hay ni armario para dejar la ropa. Cama minúscula, habitación enana... El personal del hotel...con una pinta...en fin. Un desastre

Dalle recensioni mi aspettavo di meglio. La colazione da migliorare mancano biscotti e fette biscottate e il caffè si paga 60 centesimi alla macchinetta. Il punto è buono perché centrale ed il personale è disponibile ma l Hotel è da svecchiare

War von Lissabon sehr überrascht. Die Stadt ist sehr schön und authentisch, alle paar Meter eine tolle Aussicht. Mit Öffis ist man sehr gut mobil. Der Kaffee und die Törtchen ein Traum. Werde auf jedenfall nochmals kommen.

Lieu bien placé pour visiter Lisbonne à pied, métro ou tramway. Bon rapport qualité prix. Petit déjeuner à volonté très correct. Francais parlé à l'accueil. Je conseille. Seul bémol, l'insonorisation des chambres.

Nice hotel in a very central location. Surprised to see a lot of construction work opposite and next to hotel. But this stopped in the early evening and didn’t start back up until late morning. However in the evenings we could hear people walking up and down the stairs. So it was a restless nights. The staff were nice and the breakfast was good.

L’hôtel est très bien situé sur une rue piétonne avec plusieurs bon restos. On a pu marcher de l’hôtel à plusieurs endroits touristiques. Les métros et la station pour prendre le train sont facilement accessibles de l’hôtel. Merci

Posizione straripante, punto pazzesco per visitare Lisbona partendo dal pieno centro... A pochi metri dall'Hard Rock Cafè. Reception gentile, sorridente e disponibile. Stanze ben pulite, comode. Colazione nella media. Ma la posizione e la pulizia la fanno da padrone... Consigliatissimo!

Hotellet har ett mycket bra läge. Nära till metro, tågstationen och restauranger. Trots det centrala läget är det tyst mot gatan. Hotellet är något lyhört och frukosten ganska basal. Personalen är mycket trevliga och jag skulle gärna besöka hotellet igen.

Very well placed for visiting Lisbon, very helpful and friendly staff, daily cleaning service. Not very well insulated from noise if you have noisy neighbours in the adjoining room. Airconditioning and bathroom good. Our room was a bit small but adequate. They were renovating the building infront of the hotel but the work stopped early and started late so it never bothered us.

5-10 mins walking distance from Metro. However, recommend to take Taxi if u have a big luggage because streets renovation & tradition stone unflattering road.
Very close to sightseeing site, train station & trams, cafe & bakery.
Clean bedroom with air condition & TV. Bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste. They provide towels & bath liquid. Hotel with elevator & basic breakfast.
Very knowledgeable & helpful reception. Always give u solution. Free storage of luggage. Highly recommend to stay.

Les chambres sont propres mais petites et le petit déjeuner est correct. Dans l’ensemble c’est un établissement cher pour la prestation offerte. J’aurais mis 3 étoiles mais l’hôtel indiquait qu’il y avait un parking et ce n’est pas le cas. Ils nous ont demandé de nous garer dans la rue. Ce qui nous a valu une amande. Cependant l’hôtel est plutôt bien situé dans le quartier touristique.

A very nice family runs the hotel. Mr. Sadik and Mr. Houssein are very helpful and will guide you throughout your stay. They will give you expert advices on where to go and what to avoid.The hotel location is perfect, in the touristic area near Rossio station. The hotel is clean and provides you great hospitality. Rooms are cleaned every day.The reception staffs are also very helpful and extremely friendly.Overall the experience was awesome. I want to thank you so much for this unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel :) You wont regret it!

abit hidden hotel at behind the street; the next building is having construction, so is so annoying and dirty when we passby in morning time & night time.
just nearby hardrock cafe and alot premium shop nearby.
But is quite near to metro.

Acogedor. Tranquilo y silencioso. Limpio y correcto. Es un hotel famliar cuyos propietarios gestionan con mucha amabilidad y buen trato. Localizacion excelente para visitar Lisboa, muy cerca del centro y todos los transportes. Nos ha encantado. Muy recomendable.

Esta en el centro de la ciudad, super bien situado.
A la noche no hay ruido ni nada por el estilo.
El servicio super bien. Han sido super majos con nosotros, y para tener , esta super bien.
Eso si, el parking esta a 2 minutos andando, pero eso es lo único que se podría cambiar.

ドアも全く防音がなく、下が空いている。

Hotel bonito y tranquilo en uno de los barrios más entrañables de Lisboa. Nuestra habitación era de un tamaño normal, el baño grande, el desayuno buffet tenía un poco de todo aunque eché en falta algo de embutido... En definitiva, muy buena estancia.

Accueil gentil, personnel gentil, petit déjeuner correct mais franchement, les chambres sont minuscules mais surtout mal isolées. On a 2 nuits gâchées par des voisins qui ont aucun respect et qui rentrent d'une soirée arrosée. Le gardien vient même pas les engueuler et ça c'est un minimum je trouve. Donc je ne recommenderai malheureusement pas cet hôtel. Très déçue. Je repars chez moi pour travailler en étant fatiguée.

Coincidentally, I had stayed at this hotel a few years ago. Updates since then have improved the property. I stayed in a single room, which was compact but sufficient. There was a small desk area where I could do some work on my laptop. Other than that, there was a single bed, a small night table with bedside light, an open closet, and a space where I could put my small amount of luggage. The WC had a shower. In-room amenities are minimal--a small bar of soap, in-shower combination body wash/shampoo, and a water glass. Prices for the room include an extended Continental breakfast, with Portuguese standards as well as scrambled eggs, sausages, and a vegetarian pasta dish. The hotel is well-located, very close to Rossio station/Restauradores square, making it easy to walk to many sites. The hotel itself is quiet, but sound-proofing can be an issue. For a few nights, there were three very boisterous guests staying in an adjoining room and I was glad that I thought to throw a pair of ear plugs in when I packed. This is a common problem in older hotels, though. The biggest plus is the family that owns the hotels--they work on-site and are very hospitable, helpful, and--in the case of one of the sons in particular--happy to chat about the city and provide some great restaurant recommendations.

A nice, clean, quaint hotel slap bang in the centre of Lisbon. We stayed here for 3 nights which served its purpose. Breakfast is what you expect fron a european hotel. A continental breakfast with a choice of breads, cheeses, cereals and pastries. Also had scrambled eggs and cocktail sausages. Various restaurants in the area including Hard Rock Cafe just round the corner. 2 minute walk to Rossio Square and a further 10 minutes to Praca Commercio. 24hr reception staff which were very polite. We had a triple room which was clean with a fully stocked private bathroom. Just as a note, all triple rooms have 3 single beds in them with a wall mounted bedside cabinet in between each therefore not that easy to just push the beds together if you want a double bed. However if you can look past that, a very nice hotel and recommended for short stays especially if you intend to explore the city centre by foot.

Tolles Hotel - Lage, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, Sauberkeit, gutes Frühstück.Wir waren mit freunden zum Marathon in Lissabon. Das Hotel ist Ideal gelegen für Erkundungen von Lissabon und nur 800m vom Commercio - dem Marathon-Ziel. Das Personal hat uns immer gute Tips zu Lissabon, Restaurants und auch zum Marathon gegeben und war immer sehr aufmerksam und bemüht. Auch wenn die Zimmer etwas klein sind waren wir uns alle einig eine Top-Bewertung abzugeben und würden immer wieder kommen.

Excelente hotel. Muy cuidado y se nota la dedicacion que le ponen en cada detalle, siempre todo en perfecto estado. Se nota que fue remodelado hace poco y esta en optimas condiciones. El personal muy amable y profesional, siempre dispuestos a ayudar. Las habitaciones comodas y limpias, baño amplio. el wifi funciona a la perfeccion. La ubicacion es excelente, muy comoda. Una experiencia de primer nivel en este hotel. El desayuno es muy bueno. Sin dudas un excelente lugar para hospedarse en Lisboa.

Great location, the hotel is small but has a good size room and excellent bathroom. Breakfast was included in our room rate and its a fair breakfast with scramble eggs, pasta, assorted breads, yogurt and cheeses. Juice, tea and great coffe . Everyday is the same so w skip every other day. Its family owned and everyone goes out of their way to assist you. We will definitely stay here the next time we visit Lisbon. Highly recommended!

The hotel had a very lovely reception area, very clean and modern. The rooms are also a good size with a comfortable bed and a decent sized bathroom. The bath was just a little dated. Staff are all very nice, although during breakfast it was a little uncomfortable due to one member of staff staring in our direction when getting breakfast. Other than that, good location and a lovely stay.

Vor allem die Lage des Hotels ist super und auch die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist zwar einfach, aber dennoch gepflegt. Die Zimmer schienen relativ neu renoviert zu sein, die Wände und Möbel waren keinesfalls abgewohnt. Auch das Frühstück war hervorragend. Ich hane schon wesentlich schlechtere Kontinentale Frühstücke gesehen. Es gab eine breite Auswahl ein Brötchen und süßem Gebäck, Aufschnitt, Käse, Marmelade, Jogurth, Müslo, frisches Obst und auch warme Speisen.Zwei Punkte die beim Aufenthalt negativ aufgefallen sind: Die Zimmer wurden bei drei Nächten Aufenthalt nicht ein einziges Mal gereinigt und die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig. Am besten Ohropax mitnehmen.

Lhôtel est centré et avec lavantage dêtre dans une ruelle au calme. Le petit déjeuner est de qualité et le personnel bienveillant et à lécoute des besoins des clients. Les chambres sont très bien nettoyées chaque jour. Jai passé un excellent séjour de 4 nuits. Je reviendrai et recommande ce petit hôtel.

The owners/operators of Hotel Portuense were incredibly helpful when my travel companion had a medical emergency which required a visit to the hospital. They called a taxi for us, giving the driver instructions, stored our bags (it was our checkout day), and helped us book another hotel room down the street when we needed to stay an extra night in Lisbon. We wont forget their kindness and generosity.The rooms were clean and well appointed, the breakfast included a variety of tasty options, and the location cant be beat. Id stay there again if I returned to Lisbon.

Rooms were incredibly clean. Breakfast was very good. But the greatest feature of the hotel was the sons of the owners (Sadik and Hussein) who attended the front desk and helped with travel plans and arrangements. Extremely nice and helpful.

last month in July I stayed at this hotel for 8 nights. I was truly satisfied with my stay. The location of this hotel is excellent being just one street parallel to the main street of the centre. You are simply in the centre of the city with Rossio and Restaurado metros and there is also the railway station making travelling very easy. The hotel was very clean, the breakfast was very good and freshly prepared every morning. The staff was very helpful and full of information. They even helped me make printout of certain tickets which I had on my email. If I had to visit Lisbon I will surely go back to this Hotel Portuense

Inmejorable relación calidad-precio, ubicación en el corazón de Lisboa en la zona de teatros de la cuidad. A una calle se encuentra una peatonal llena de restaurantes con diversas opciones para comer. Excelente atención del personal y muy buen desayuno. La habitación cómoda, 100% recomendable la estadía en este hotel familiar.

Hôtel très bien situé, et très propre, les chambres sont en revanche pas très grande avec des lits doubles de 140cm, et on entend un peu ce qu'ils se passent dans les couloirs.

très bon séjour dans cet hôtel, malgré une crainte en arrivant en voyant des travaux de limmeuble juste en face .. mais bon pas de travaux le soir et la nuit donc ça va!Idéalement placé en hyper centre, à deux pas dun arrêt de métro ou des lignes de bus.Petite rue au calme malgré la proximité avec des places très touristiques. Nuit très calme et fenêtre bien isolante pour le bruit. Cest simple mais très propre et fonctionnel. Le petit déjeuner est classique mais correct.

This hotel is simple, but (almost) completely adequate. Very nice people, excellent wifi, good simple breakfast, amazing location, but interior walls so thin you can hear everything in the hallway, the staircase, or next room. I'm a light sleeper and slept ok, but I think I was lucky to have polite neighbors.

Hôtel très bien placé mais quelques détails qui gâchent !! Chambre donnant sur un chantier en pleine construction, pas de prise de courant pour charger son tel (il faut débrancher la lampe de chevet), pas de dérouleur pour le papier toilette, petit déjeuner TRÈS spartiate vraiment low cost....on en a pour son argent !

Freundlich, sauber, ordentlich, gute Infos vom Personal auf englisch, total zentral, Lift, Getränkeautomat, WLAN. Frühstück ok ( landestypische, kein English breakfast erwarten ...). Absolut tolles Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis. Gerne wieder - dann direkt buchen, spart Agenturkosten - für beide Seiten.

This was a spotlessly clean hotel, very well situated in the old town. It is a family run hotel and although fairly basic it is good value for money with all ensuite rooms, plus our room had a balcony and adequate continental breakfasts. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel if you are using it for a base to explore Lisbon.

Acho que as pessoas são simpáticas e acolhedoras, em relação a isso não há motivos de queixa ...
No entanto, acho que deviam melhorar as condições de alojamento "pra ontem"
Os quartos são antigos e abafados, a roupa de cama é antiga, as toalhas de banho têm um cheiro também meio estranho, o chuveiro é antigo enfim... o pequeno- almoço é mto limitado, spesar de ja ser de louvar ter o pequeno-almoço .......uma série de aspetos a melhorar...
Portanto, caso se dediquem a mudar as condições conseguem deixar as pessoas mais satisfeitas.... tirando tudo isto q está mal consegue - se.....
Até pq o preço apesar de ter sido para mais de uma pessoa n justifica tantas falhas pq assim uma pessoa q n esteja digamos "habituada" obviamente q n se motiva a fzr uma próxima visita ou recomendar....

Нормальный отель за эти деньги. Полностью выполняет свои функции. Чисто, есть лифт, отличный напор горячей воды, завтрак небогатый (совсем нет мясной группы), но до обеда вполне можно продержаться. Отель находится чуть дальше пешеходной улицы, поэтому ночной шум не так слышен, хотя... Но мы очень уставали за день. Единственно, что не понравилось, это вонь в номере, к которой быстро привыкаешь, и снос здания напротив, где работы начинают в 7.30 утра (экскаватор и грузовики), но мы "жаворонки", и нас это не напрягало. Так что, если вы не очень привередливы, можно смело селиться.

Great hotel in a prime location in the city. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful in recommending things to do nearby, supplying anything that I forgot to bring on vacation, and being accommodating with my check-in and check-out times. Great experience!

Abbiamo scelto di soggiornare presso Pensao Portuense per 2 motivi: la posizione (veramente comoda e a due passi dal centro storico di Lisbona) e il prezzo (adeguato alla qualità e ai servizi offerti).
Lo stabile è vecchio, le camere sono piccole (ognuna con aria condizionata) ma con una pulizia approssimativa. La colazione (inclusa) è di bassa qualità e la wifi è presente solo al piano terra in area comune.
Non so se fosse cosi in tutte le altre camere, ma nella nostra avevamo a disposizione solo una presa elettrica (staccando opportunamente la tv) e ogni sera era un problema caricare cellulari e fotocamera digitale. Inoltre anche se nel sito era specificata la presenza di un asciugacapelli in camera, in realtà occorreva andarlo a chiedere in reception.
Per il resto il personale è gentile e tutto sommato lo consiglierei per la posizione e il prezzo.

Schlafen, Duschen, Frühstücken und ein wenig Wifi in der Lobby - mehr braucht man doch nicht auf einer Städtereise. Ein prima Ausgangspunkt für Erkundungen im alten Kern von Lissabon. Altstadt und Wasser fußläufig zu erreichen. Kneipen, Metro und natürlich Straßenbahn in der Nähe. Schon etwas älter, so wie Lissabon eben auch. Zimmer war zur Straße, bei offenem Fenster kann es lauter werden - falls die Musik noch spielt. Wen es stört, macht die schalldichten Fenster zu. Dann gibt es Klima. Frühstück war sehr übersichtlich, Käse und Marmelade und Ei und super Brötchen. Die jungen Männer an der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für den Preis mehr als ok.

For us the main issue was that the amenities list is very deceptive. It seems the hotel is currently undergoing a renovation and hence there are some things that work and some that do not. Breakfast is not that great either, though it is not terrible. I believe it is a great place if you are hiking through Europe or if all you need is a place to sleep, just keep in mind that it is not a place for confort e.g. there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms, only in the lobby. Overall as long as you keep your expectations low, you should be fine.

Hôtel familial très bien tenu situé en plein centre de Lisbonne. Le personnel est attentif à vos besoins et parle le Français. Au moment du départ, très très tôt le matin, le père m'a proposé à plusieurs reprises de m'offrir un café. Pour rejoindre l'aéroport, il m'a aussi proposé de commander un taxi. Vraiment formidable !

Die Pension liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße und ist nur wenige Gehminuten vom zentralen Place du Rossio entfernt. Die Pension wird von einer super netten Familie geführt. Diese haben alle Fragen immer freundlich beantwortet und Tipps zur Erkundung der Stadt gegeben. Die Pension ist 24h besetzt. Das Frühstück (7:00-10:00 Uhr) besteht aus Toast, Crossiant, Brötchen, div. Marmelade, Käse, Kaffee, Wasser, Orangensaft und heißer Schokolade. Bei dem Preis vollkommen ausreichend. Die Brötchen und der Käse haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Zimmer sind einfach ausgestattet, Bett ca. 1,40m breit. Matratze war auch in Ordnung. Die Fenster sind neu und sehr gut isoliert. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Seitenstraße und haben bei geschlossenem Fenster nichts gehört. Jeden Tag wurde das Bett gemacht. Eine tägliche Reinigung hat nur oberflächlich stattgefunden. Ein Aufzug ist im Haus vorhanden. Wir können diese Pension zu 100% weiterempfehlen und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder :-)

die zentrale Lage und der Preis spricht für das Hotel, auch der Chef an der Rezeption ist hilfsbereit. Es ist zweckmässig für einen Kurzaufenthalt, nahe Metro, Innenstadt und Verpflegung. Aber das Hotel selbst ist einfach, durch die zentrale Lage auch lärmig (trotz Zimmer im 4. Stock). Das Frühstück ist inbegriffen, aber sehr, sehr einfach. Für uns das grösste Übel aber waren die Betten: durchgelegene einfache Matratzen mit absolut kleinen Massen von ca. 140x180cm. Wer damit leben kann, für den ist das Hotel ok.

Perfecto para moverse por la ciudad porque está situado muy cerca del metro Baixa/rossio y de la principal estación de tren. Además está situado en una calle muy tranquila.El personal del hotel es muy atento además.Como única queja, creo que son muy estrictos con el acceso a las habitaciones por parte de gente ajena al hotel. Un amigo vino y estuvo sólo media hora y nos cobraron diez euros. Deberían haber sido más flexibles.Otra pega es que el servicio de limpieza comienza a las 9 de la mañana y se oye mucho ruido porque las paredes no insonorizan lo suficiente.

Wir (Familie mit zwei größeren Kindern) haben in dem Hotel zwei Doppelzimmer für eine dreitägige Städtetour nach Lissabon gebucht. Im Hotel steht kostenloses WLAN zur Verfügung (allerdings nur im Aufenthaltsbereich der Rezeption). Die Zimmer sind einfach ausgestattet aber sauber, die Betten relativ hart (was uns ganz recht war). Gut gefallen hat uns die gut dosierbare, leise Klimaanlage. Zunächst lief in einem Zimmer die Dusche nicht ab, das wurde nach einem Hinweis an der Rezeption sofort erledigt. Störend ist die außergewöhnliche Hellhörigkeit des gesamten Baus. Man hört jede Unterhaltung auf den schmalen Hotelfluren und in den Nachbarzimmern. Der Frühstücksraum ist eher mit einem Wartesaal vergleichbar (auch die Atmosphäre), das präsentierte Frühstück war doch sehr einfach und lieblos (man wird satt...). Insgesamt waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt zufrieden. Das Hotel liegt wirklich sehr zentral, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung. Für einen Städtetrip mit der Familie, der nicht zu viel kosten soll, können wir das Residencial Portuense als sehr guten Ausgangspunkt weiterempfehlen. Die zentralen Plätze (Rossio, Restauradores und Martim Moniz) sind zu Fuß in ein paar Minuten erreicht. Achtung: Der Weg ins Zentrum führt durch die Rua das Portas de Santo Antao. Hier reihen sich die Touristenlokale aneinander und zahlreiche Kellner versuchen die Touristen in ihre Restaurants zu locken. In der Stadt gibt es deutlich bessere Alternativen!

Da es sich um ein preisgünstiges Hotel handelt sollte man seine Erwartungen nicht zu hoch schrauben: das Personal ist freundlich und bemüht, die Zimmer sind sauber aber hellhörig - wer einen leichten Schlaf hat wird hier nicht glücklich. Das Hotel liegt am Beginn einer Fußgängerzone mit zahlreichen Restaurants und wenige Gehminuten von Straßen- und U-Bahn entfernt.

Wir haben uns für dieses Hotel entschieden, da zentral gelegen und doch ruhig. Die Rezeption war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Zimmer einfach aber sauber, das Früstücksbuffet übersichtlich aber ausreichend. Wenige Schritte zu vielen Restaurants und Metro-Station.

Wir (eine Gruppe von 4 Personen) weilten für 4 Nächte in dem Hotel. Der Service war super (in perfektem Englisch) und die Leute vom Hotel waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Ausstattung ist zweckmässig und die Zimmer waren sauber. Die Lage ist absolut top und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sucht, in Lissabon, wohl seinesgleichen. Alles in allem sicher empfehlenswert.

Beste Lage im Zentrum . 20 m vom ersten Lokal, aber super ruhig. Personal super nett und freundlich . Sauberkeit wie da habe ich selten in 5* Hotels gehabt. Alles prima . Das Haus ist klein aber sehr gemütlich und kann nicht mehr Service anbieten sonst konnte man locker mit gute 4 Sterne sich auszeichnen.

Man ist sehr zentral untergebracht, aber aus dem Gedränge heraus. Nebenan befindet sich ein einfaches und gutes portugiesisches Restaurant. Zwei Straßen weiter ist eine der typischen Lissaboner Straßenbahnen, die nur den Weg nach oben bzw. unten fährt. ( Ticket von Caris ist gültig, also auch die 24 Stundentickets der Hop-on hop-off Busse.)

The hotel itself is located in the heart of Lisbon at a fairly quiet street (by local standards). All major sights are in walking distance. For example, to the square of Commerce can be reached at a relaxed pace in about 15 minutes. Near many restaurants, metro station, bus stop. That is, you can easily get to the airport or other areas of the city. If you are travelling by car, 10 EUR per day has indoor Parking (booked on the spot). Breakfast is standard European - tea/coffee/juice/water + toast/croissant. I.e. if you like!! have to go to a restaurant), the rooms are small but clean. Of bathroom accessories only soap. Rooms are cleaned every day. Have air conditioning, which in the summer can be enabled on cooling, heating in winter. The staff is very friendly and will always help when questions from the guests. They speak English fluently. Property suitable for tourists, who prefer to spend the whole day going through the city and go to the hotel only to bathe and sleep )
Wi-fi works only in the zone of reception and in the room. In the rooms wi-fi didn't work.

I visited "Portugal Residential Pension" almost 4 years ago. I had to stay in Portugal because an unexpected layover in my way to United States. While looking for an affordable room close to the downtown area, I was presented with this place. Here I stayed in a single-bed room, and the price was very acceptable. However, the best thing about this placed was the service!!! Great people that helped me with everything they had. Without a doubt in my mind I will comeback and stay in this same "Pensåo". Loved it.
