NOT WILLING TO ACCOMMODATE FOOD ALLERGY. This restaurant told my family there was literally nothing safe for my son to eat due to his food allergy. Nothing. We had carefully selected this restaurant because they serve sushi (Japanese cuisine doesn’t use nuts) and even the English menu had absolutely no nuts in the items. We drove 40 minutes to have Easter dinner here. It is somewhat isolated and we were forced to either abandon dinner altogether or force our son to sit, eating nothing, while we scarfed down our meal. So our son sat and watched us eat. Miserable experience, on Easter no less. They could have at least offered a simple butter pasta or a plain steak. But instead they highly and repeatedly discouraged us from feeding him anything at all. Rotten service.

Lecker Essen und tolle Stimmung bei fabelhafter Live-Musik. Reservierung an Sonntagen zwingend erforderlich, da es immer sehr voll ist. Wer also einen Tisch hat, kann den Nachmittag bzw. Abend genießen.

Nestled against the base of the cliffs on Praia Grande it is the perfect spot to enjoy the sunset while sipping on one of their great cocktails and enjoying some music (live bands on most Sunday's from 3pm get there early to get a table! ). Extensive menu with some unique takes on sushi. Worth a visit.

Went for a meal today after wanting to visit it for ages due to friends recommendations. I was biterly dissapointed. The service was very poor even though it wasnt very busy. My food arrived chicken burger and the bottome of bun was soggy mush infact i had ro hold via lettace to pick it up. The chicken at parts was not cooked through. I hate sending food back. But left it. I would have mentioned it to waitress if asked but never was. I was so dissapointed in my experience i wont be rushing back.

Great food, great location and super friendly staff. We visited twice and each were greeted by friendly staff. Best to early if you want to enjoy their catch of the day as it runs out fast. The sea bass and clam spaghetti were particularly good. Definitely worth a visit

Tolle Location direkt am Strand und sehr gemütlich. Leckeres Essen auf der Karte, man kann sich kaum entscheiden und für jeden ist was dabei; die Tapasplatte ist sehr zu empfehlen. Super Stimmung am Abend mit Livemusik.

Idéalement situé sur la plage Praia Grande, ce restaurant est vraiment très sympathique. Accueil chaleureux et attentionné. Pour un déjeuner le midi il y a de la place. Pour le soir il est préférable de réserver ! Il est ouvert toute la nuit avec des soirées DJ. Les plats sont copieux et pour un restaurant de bord de plage c'est assez rare d'avoir de la vraie cuisine. Les prix sont un peu élevés, mais ce qui est servi est à la hauteur et la qualité est là. À l'ombre avec vue sur la plage et la mer c'est un très agréable moment. Vivement recommandé.

I give these two stars simply for the view and sushi.? Everything else was a little bit bad - Place full of tourists (especially British), extremely slow service, rude personnel, over priced pastas etc. We had one waitress showing attitude to us and one waiter didn't clean our table from the previous, didn't say hi or anything but just stared that are we really to order even though we didn't even got the menus....... Apart from the nice lounge Area and the view, at least during day time I would avoid this place always.

Un lugar de los que envidio y me da pena no encontrar algo parecido en las playas de mi Huelva.
Tanto la playa como el club les doy un 10 en todo,comida, limpieza, atención a los clientes, servicios etcétera etcétera.
Deberian muchos tomar ejemplo de sitios asi.
Para volver cada vez que pueda!!

A não regressar! O ambiente é tranquilo e descontraído, e a paisagem bonita, mas rapidamente vemos que é um engodo para turistas. É o típico local do Algarve onde se investe na exploração dos estrangeiros e turistas! Pagar 52€ por 2 hambúrguers de má qualidade (cujos acompanhamentos são pagos à parte e não nos dizem), uma sandes em pão de forma (acompanhada por batata frita de pacote!), 2 sumos e 2 cafés é inaceitável!

Bar/restaurante ao pé da praia. Pela localização o preço é "predefinido" como acima da média. Mas neste local os preços são um disparate! Pedimos 2 hambúrgueres (sem acompanhamentos, as batatas são pagas a parte e não dizeram), uma sandes (de pão de forma e com batatas, esta vez sim mas de pacote de má qualidade), 2 sumos e 2 cafés pelo "módico" valor de 52 €. É um bar para explorar estrangeiros residentes e turistas.

Live music and fresh sushi make Nau the place to be. A super mixed group of families, tourists and locals made Nau a real treat on our vacation. The staff is very professional and friendly, and I'm looking forward to coming back in the summer season!

Em cima da praia, mesmo junto à areia. O espaço é bonito, as empregadas adequadas.
Música ao vivo com som muito alto, tivemos de conversar num tom de esforço durante o jantar. .
Piano bastante saboroso e bem servido; ceviche e tartaro de salmão nada de jeito. . . Sobremesa óptima: brownie com gelado!

Club Nau is an awesome place to relax and enjoy dinner and some live music. We went and they played jazz. The drinks were reasonably priced and the food choices were varied and just as reasonable.

Nice place. Good shaded tables overlooking the beach. Fab cocktails. Nice Sangria. A bit more pricey than some other places, I think it was worth it. Friendly service. They let us stay for an hour even though the tables were all reserved for later.

Un caos absoluto. Más de dos horas para comer. Atención pésima. Los camareros se hacen los sordos. Te atienden tardísimo. De lo que íbamos a pedir, solo pedimos un plato por persona viendo como atendían. No pedimos entrantes ni postres y nos llevó dos horas solo para bebidas y una hamburguesa. Y no era por falta de personal, hay mucho y pocos clientes a los que servir a las tres de la tarde, les ves paseando de un lado para otro como un pollo sin cabeza. Daban ganas de irse. La comida buena pero cara.

Nous sommes arrivés sans réservation vers 17h30 et bien sûr tout était soit disant réservé!! Un accueil pas des plus sympathique et pas de table pour boire un verre mais si on voulait manger, il pouvait en trouver une!!!

Je ne peux vous parler que du restaurant de sushis de l’établissement. Celui-ci est EXCEPTIONNEL !
Le chef, tatoué, a suivi une formation de près de deux ans au Japon. Son savoir faire est remarquable. Ses réalisations sont d’une grande beauté, mais surtout d’une fraîcheur incomparable et d’une finesse remarquable. Si vous avez la chance de manger face à lui, le chef n’est pas avare d’explications sur les merveilles qu’il prépare devant vous. Un festin de sept services, pour deux personnes, accompagné d’un délicieuse et surprenante bouteille de saké frais et pétillant ne nous a coûté que 36.00 € par personne !

Restaurante muito caro,o mar não justifica os valores apresentados ,os pratos são muito mal servidos para o preço que cobram.Eu comi um sushi que era baseado em 24 pecas de sushi .....só peixe cru do continente daquele congelado....6 com arroz....cobraram 33 euros vergonhoso,salado de polvo que mais parecia um pratinho individual daqueles que comemos nas tascas a 2.50€......mas paguei 12.50€,foi a primeira e a ultima já nao era enganado á muito tempo mas enfim,pelo menos comento porque acho que as pessoas não devem ser enganadas como eu fui.

This restaurant has gone downhill. It has been our favourite location for years but is trying to go upmarket so is not the chilled out place it used! The menu choice is poor and expensive for what it is,also they try to rush you through. We hadn't even finished our starter and cocktails when they arrived with the main course,they even wanted to take the unfinished starters away. No sorry we will not return.

Great, relaxed beach restaurant with good food, friendly staff and a lovely view over the bay.
The menu has tapas, sushi, beach snacks, fresh fish and some standards like the house pasta with prawns (delicious). There's also a kids' menu.
We went there multiple times and the staff were always friendly and helpful. There are loungers at the front and a beach area for kids to play. The view across the bay is lovely, you get good sunsets and we even had dolphins come in to the bay one evening.
Great for a romantic evening, snacks on the beach or a family meal at lunchtime.

Superb location especially if you intend to arrive by boat and stay the night .... for the rest of us easily accessible by car/taxi.
During July / August always a live band onstage with the ocean as the backdrop.
Food is a mix of Mediterranean/ Sushi / Algarve local making it perfect for most.
Set within a natural bay but encompassing Portimao Marina means you look out to the ocean with boats anchored for the night.
Lacks the intimacy of other beach bars but makes up for this with a buzzy feel and panoramic views.

Super nette Lage, entspannte Atmosphäre, coole Bar...wir hatten das Steak und die Lammkeule und fanden beides super super lecker. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Menü ist mehrsprachig.

Ich wohne in cavoeiro und komme 2 mal die Woche in dieses wunderbare Restaurant mit Freunden.
Für mich das beste Restaurant weit und breit.
Die Weinkarte ist unschlagbar.

Wir sind völlig zufällig auf dieses nette Lokal gestoßen. Eigentlich wollten wir uns nur Ferragudo anschauen und dann weiterfahren an einen anderen Strand, sind dann aber - wohl auch wegen der netten Lokale direkt an den Felsen am Strand - am Praia Grande von Ferragudo geblieben. Gegen 15.30 Uhr, nachdem der schlimmste Touristen-Ansturm im Restaurant vorüber war, sind wir dann von unserer nur wenige Meter entfernten Strandliege hinauf auf die herrliche Terrasse des Lokals gezogen, wo wir sofort vom herrlichen Ambiente und der Live-Musik begeistert waren. An diesem Tag spielte ein englischsprechender Saxophonist und unterhielt die anwesenden Gäste mit launigen Sprüchen und netten Sounds. Das Essen (ich hatte ein Club-Sandwich und meine Freundin einen Hamburger) war vorzüglich, die Preise mehr als günstig (€ 19 für zwei Speisen, zusätzlich Pommes und zwei Getränke). Das besondere Ambiente aber verschafft dem Lokal definitiv den fünften Stern meiner Bewertung: Holzterrasse direkt am Strand, beschattet durch Sonnensegel und einen Baum mitten im Restaurantbereich, dazu kühle Drinks und Live-Musik. Das ist Urlaubs-Feeling pur!

El lugar es increible pero el servicio es lento y el trato no es de la calidad que uno espera en un club de playa... siempre lleno y es imposible disfrutarlo en tranquilidad. Mesas muy juntas y casi imposible conseguir reservar mesa... ademas precios excesivos.

Very nice place, had the Steak on a stone, probably the best meat I've ever had! Raw meat and a hot stone where you cook it yourself with salt, nice view over the Atlantic and the habour of Portimao!

Visited as part of my year-long 50th Birthday celebrations. there were 17 of us - all female and what a treat! the band playing that afternoon was Daddy Jacks and they were fantastic. Most of us had the seabass or golden bream and a few had the fillet steak peppercorn sauce. All absolutely gorgeous with lots of lovely fresh veg too. Great service. Amazing views and the setting sun, boats going out to fish and the fairyy lights coming on in the trees as it turned to dusk made it perfect.
