Went this evening.had a beautiful meal and complimentary port...very nice..

The food was good but it is pricy. A seafood rice for two coats 70 euro and a small plate of clam ( quite small quantity) is around 15 euro.

Tres Bon accueil et service attentif. La cuisine est excellente. Je recommande le poulpe en entrée. Le pain à l’ail est excellent. La sole est parfaite. Le personnel est aux petits soins en toute simplicité.

Cannot say enough good things about this place. Found it on our 2nd last day in Portugal and disappointed that we didn't find it earlier. Child, vegetarian and carnivore all left here very satisfied.
The restaurant is lovely inside, laid out well enough that parties big and small can dine without getting too close. The staff are fantastic, all are very helpful, friendly and go out of their way with everyone. The menu is varied and caters for all tastes. And as if that wasn't enough, The three of us ate 3 courses with drinks, for under €80.
If I am ever within an hours drive of this fantastic restaurant again, I'll go out of my way to go here. Do yourself a favour and go here, you won't regret it.

+ excelent service - from the waiters to the choice of music
+ the food was excellent - started with a magnific warm "chevre" with nuts and honney, followed by grilled fresh corvina very well presented and accompanied. The ideal place for couples and/or friends to share quality relaxing time in a well decorated restaurant accompanied by nice easy listening music. It has been like that eachtime i went there. Servicio impecable, el dueño muy atento que todo esté biem. Recomendaciones: las almejas de primero pequeñas pero frescas y muy sabrosos, el arroz con rape EXCELENTE y de postre pudding de naranja al cointreau BUENISIMO.

The food here was very well cooked and yummy, if a little bit fussy for our tastes. It was really Portuguese in style so we went for veal and octopus and weren’t disappointed. It was mostly the sides that were a little fussy (gratin and vegetables) although the service was really excellent (polite and helpful while unobtrusive) and the veal and octopus were both well seasoned and well cooked. The restaurant started filling up quite quickly and there were lots of families clearly tourists and Portuguese.

Gehobene Küche in sehr schickem Ambiente zu einem echt fairen Preis. Wir haben das Restaurant mehrfach besucht und es war immer sehr sehr lecker. Nicht nur der Fisch des Tages, auch das Steak waren perfekt abgestimmt und auf den Punkt gegrillt.
Die Gäste sind meist etwas schicker gekleidet und es gehen auch viele Einheimische hin die etwas zu feiern haben.
Besonders zu empfehlen die hausgemachte Desserts, vor allem die Zitronencreme.
Definitv 5 Sterne wert.

Sogar die glutenfreien wünsche konnten hervorragend erfüllt werden.

Very good moment spent in this lovely restaurant. All the other customers were pleased with their dishes. The place is clean & peacefull during lunchtime. Owner & staff are very friendly. Sea Food is excellent. Seafood cataplana was the best we had so far during our stay in the region. Will definitely come back.

Siamo venuti in questo ristorante perché ne parlavano tutti molto bene, ottimo e veloce il servizio anche se i piatti meno :abbiamo
preso una cataplana per 2 che era molto ricca di pesce, anche se però era troppo spezziata, mia mamma invece ha ordinato il baccalà che era pieno di lische, cosa che non ci si dovrebbe aspettare da un ristorante di ottimo livello e inoltre era pieno di aglio!! Lo consiglio vivamente a gli amanti delle spezie.

Restaurante excelente. Gostamos de tudo (esparguete camarão + cogumelos + rúcula, polvo a lagareiro, bife de frango + cogumelos, espetada de tamboril e camarão). As sobremesas foram magicas (fondant chocolate, crumble maça, delícia de limão e pudim de laranja). O serviço foi rápido e o pessoal de sala muito simpático. Voltaremos com certeza. 5*.

Great Portuguese restaurant. Been using for the past 12 years and never miss when we visit Portugal. We have seen this restaurant evolve from a good high standard local restaurant with a hard working proprietor with excellent staff, to a high standard cosmopolitan yet local restaurant with excellent supporting menu.
Great presentation and service from original core staff and well trained new staff, and continues to evolve with the same great proprietor.
This restaurant should not be missed for a good dining experience.

We had a very pleasant experience in this well maintained restaurant with excellent & professional service. The grilled sole was very good, the olives and tuna cream as "couvert" was very good too as well as the vegetable soup. We forgot the time we spent there. Prices are surely above the average but it is worth it. Big wine card and knowledgeable waiters and the owner looking after the guests.

Food was bad, typical portugese for crazy high prices. They want to be a luxury restaurant but you can eat also the same fish at the other corner of the street for 50% of the price. We paid for a maincourse and a glass of wine with 2 persons 65€. Ridiculous for Portugal!

Vraiment, un endroit très très sympa, les serveurs font l'effort de parler Français, accueil super sympa. Ils avaient bien noté la réservation via "la fourchette". Le repas était délicieux (viande et poisson), vin d'algarve (sur conseil) excellent. Tout le monde est souriant, vraiment que du bon. À conseiller sans hésiter. (Parking gratuit et facile sur place)

The food and the service are EXCELLENT, the espumante Mariaalva is unbelievable. The foie gras was out of this world. The octopus a Murro was just perfect. Eating gourmet food at a fast food prices in the US is ridiculous. The owner and the staff can't not be more appreciative. The deserts are so unbelievable, everyone needs to experience this restaurant. They have an unbelievable wine list and their after dinner drinks are unbelievable.

Wir hatten Fisch, Hähnchen und Rumpsteak und alles war fantastisch. Das Essen war die 12-20€ pro Portion mehr als Wert.
Der Nachtisch (Creme brulle und Mouse chocolat) war mindestens genau so super.
Der Service war sehr höflich und konnte uns jeden Wunsch von den Lippen ablesen.
Alles in Allem vielleicht das beste Restaurant, das ich je besucht habe und definitiv ein Muss

Чудовий ресторан з смачною їжею. Є рибне меню і гарний вибір м'яса. Також варто відмітити наявність дитячого меню. Гарне обслуговування. І дуже смачна їжа. В високий сезон варто забронювати столик зазделегідь.

Ristorante pulito, elegante, personale gentile ed efficiente. Ottima la cataplana di pesce e frutti di mare, una sorta di zuppa di pesce accompagnata da riso basmati, ottimo il filetto di salmone, dessert buoni.
Discreto rapporto qualità prezzo.

The seafood is good and the service is proper, but I was shock how aggressive of big flies could be, those begin to get active late in the afternoon in the garden, we had moved to interior to avoid being attack!

We eat the arroz de mariz, the lopster and the scampi are o.k but cook to long the rice was swimming in a soup... The Chef was very gentil and the atmosphere was original style portuges! The prices very low. Perhaps we come to late at 21.45 pm

Great dinner choice if you are in the area. The sea bass was fabulously seasoned and grilled. They have several daily fishes on the menu. Cheery atmosphere and welcoming staff. Bright and airy Mediterranean decor.

We had dinner here as a group of 8 and they were very accommodating to put tables together for us. Food was brillianf and everyone enjoyed their meals sat outside. Would definitely recommend as the boss also owns next door which is a cake, crepe and icecream bar. Winner.

Pleasant atmosphere, warm people and tasteful food (not to mention the wines displayed inside). Just had "pregado" fish with potatoes and vegetables. Marvelous! Worth to finish lunch/dinner and have a tea/coffee in the place ("Ameixoa") next door which belong to the same owners. Home-made cookies and sweets are a must!
