This is a tiny market with some small snacks like crisps and cookies, with a vast selection of wine and liquor. The owner was quite direct, but the rest of the staff was friendly.

Rude service. The owner follow us Allt the time, and was very unfriendly. Expensive wines and licours but have a great variety . bad experiense.

Very nice choice of aged vino de Portu. +3-4 Euro to the price you get in Aldi, Continento or Jumbo for wines around 20 Euro, but then again it’s right there, in the center, and going to those mentioned above would cost you 3Euro Uber ride each direction. The owner and his wife (I guess) are old persons, so it’s no wonder they wanna speak with you and sell you on something (it’s how the service used to be done), and they are quite helpful. Overall, the wine choice is bigger than in Jumbo and there are options you can only find in Garrafeira. Considering Faro is a small town and it’s hard to find any wine stores there, I’d give this one a strong 4.

Impressionante! A procura dum bom Medronho fui aquela garrafeira e obviamente peguei nas garrafas com cuidado, para ver as garrafeiras, a proveniência, ler informações adicionais nas etiquetas. Na altura o dono pega-me no braço, a refilar, para eu não mexer nas garrafas. É assim, que se trata clientes? Sem palavras.

Mal comecei a ver as coisas e decidimos ir embora! Para nunca mais voltar! Evite este lugar! Péssima energia! Estraga o dia! Prefira outras lojas.

Accueil déplorable, nous avons eu le sentiment d'être considérés comme des voleurs parce que nous avions des achats faits ailleurs à la main. Personnel glacial, qui est incapable de vous conseiller. En résumé, nous avons eu l'impression de déranger par nos questions et notre présence. A fuir. Mention spéciale pour le patron qui brille par son antipathie.

I was in this shop in June 2019 to buy some wine to take home (I was just visiting Faro). Got recommendations from the guy who works there. Unfortunately, the wine I got was extremely bad - funky taske and awful brown color. It was so embarrassing for me, cos I bring it as a gift for my family (I believed it was good- the wine was very expensive and I trusted the guy's recommendations). We were not able to finish it. A closer look at the label and I realized that the best time for the wine was 10 years ago. So the guy sold me the old wine that should be already in the rubbish bin. Disappointing. I wouldn't trust people in this shop - they are in the business to get money from you, not to represent the quality of the local Portuguese wine.

Owner helped us when we asked for a recommendation for a nice local wine, (bought 3 bottles) but.... When we got home and tried them, 2 of them were terrible! For example, one was a very old wine ( 20 years) and the owner personally recommended this one. In opening the wine , the cork broke into the wine and the wine was so old it had turned into a dirty brown color and bad taste. Seemed like the owner wanted to get rid of all his out of date wine, by selling it to tourists. :( I recommend to buy wine in duty free! amazing selection and got some great wines from there!

Ich rate von diesem Geschäft ab. SEHR unfreundlicher Verkäufer, der keinerlei zuvorkommend ist. Ich wollte ein Produkt zurückgeben, woraufhin er mir das Rückgeld verweigerte und nur Tausch anbot. Keine schöne Atmosphäre in dem Laden.

Aggressives und misstrauriges Personal. Als Kunde habe ich mich überhaupt nicht wohl gefühlt. Deshalb habe ich mich entschieden, rein gar nichts zu kaufen und den Laden zu verlassen.

Aggressively approached on numerous occasions by what seemed like the owner demanding that I talk to him about wine. I declined as I was in company. I ended up just leaving to shouts of abuse. Seemed there is something worryingly wrong in this shop. I understand all Of The previous negative reviews regarding feeling like you are being watched. By far the worst experience I've ever had in a retail environment. I work in customer service in the wine industry by the way.

Very very unfriendly seller, few, partially expired products, unkempt shop and employees, who make someone feel unwelcome. Around the corner is a much better one. Sehr sehr unfreundlich, wenige, teilweise abgelaufene Produkte, ungepflegter Laden und Mitarbeiter, die einen behandeln, als wäre man unwillkommen. Um die Ecke ist ein viel besserer Laden mit toller Auswahl und Bedienung, wo ich dann meinen Einkauf machte.
