If i can give more stars i will definitely give them a 10! The restaurant is small with very nice vibe thanks to very friendly team that runs it. The food was absolutely amazing! We were lucky to get a table short notice and honestly, it was an incredible experience. I truly recommend this place to anyone who is into food and connecting with the chefs. We heard the true story behind every dish, how they struggled with one or the other but find the right mix in the end. This experience was definitely extraordinary - we met great people sharing this with us as strangers but felt well connected. Incredible what they turned this tiny space into!

An incredibile surprise in Lisbon. A tiny restaurant, just 8 seats, managed by two young and smart chefs. It’s one menu, five courses, each one of them is delicious. I don’t know if they have a Michelin star, but they deserve it for sure!

Tiny, intimate restaurant with one family style table that seats up to 9, I believe. There was 3 in our party, a single gentleman, and 3 young ladies. We all chatted all throughout dinner. Everyone is served the same plate at the same time. The menu is very fresh and local. I loved the fish dish and pork dish. The 3 chefs design the menu and prepare the meal. If you are looking for an intimate romantic dinner, this is not your place. Excellent food and service.

Had high hopes but left sadly disappointed after going to Local. Only one of the five dishes I had was very good. One other standard dish and three others completely not worth it. Quality doesn't match the price tag, unfortunately.

This place is truly a gem!!! Amazing well balanced flavours coming together in a harmonious dish. Every plate we had was so carefully executed and creatively imagined up, served with a lot of heart. I truly wished I could have a second round of all the same things again after my dessert. Easily one of my favourite restaurants in Europe ever!!

Very unique and enjoyable experience. However food was decent but nothing to shout about. On food quality alone there are better places for the price point. The proprietor was warm and friendly.

It's a wonderfully small space where you get to know the other parties and everyone has a good time having a delicious meal. The chefs were gracious and very pleasant which made the night particularly enjoyable. Lots of information on the ingredients and the cooking process which really gives you good ideas for your next home cooking adventures. Definitely the quality of a Michelin star but at a very reasonable price. If you can get a reservation, it's a must try when you visit Lisbon!

Amazing dinner in Lisbon :) Excellent atmosphere, foods, and service. There are only 10 seats, so it really looks luxurious. The chefs explained each course. We enjoyed the course (50€ per person) very much, and hope keenly that we can visit there again!

Concept is great, but not well executed unfortunately. Food combinations and flavours didn't really hit the note and overall there was a lack of engagement with the guests. Lastly the space felt cold and uninviting for what you would expect from an intimite dining experience.

Did not disappoint! After reading all the exceptional reviews I was worried it wouldn't live up to the hype but I am delighted to say everything amazing. The food, the atmosphere, the chefs, the wine! Wow! Would recommend to anyone who is coming to Lisboa!

First time at this kitchen experience. Really intimate feel as it only seats 10 people. So booking a table is definitely recommended. The chefs use local and fresh ingredients which were all amazingly prepared and was just divine to taste. They explain each dish to you and how they came about it. These dish are also changed every week or so. So what was pictured here, you may not experience again. The chefs were super nice and friendly and you can have a chat with them about the dishes If you are extra curious. They also acted as the waiters as well and gave excellent table service. Food was just amazing. Will definitely come again to see what they come up with next time.

Had an amazing experience at this cosy restaurant. The cooks were brilliant at adjusting to our dietary restrictions. They told us they weren't specialised in vegetarian food but the dishes became one of my favourites. Would definitely come again if I end up in Lisbon again. All the people on our table thought the same. Don't miss this place!

Conceito incrivel. Em 15 m2, o mundo junta-se á mesa para provar as delicias culinarias portuguesas reenventadas. Oito lugares á mesa, com quem chega. Dois americanos, dois coreanos, 2 alemaos e para variar, 2 portugueses. Muito bom ambiente e muito boa comida. Unico senao : preco por pessoa nunca menos 65 a 70 eur/ pessoa.

What an amazing place! I’m so happy I came across it here on google. We went there on our last night. From the beginning till the end exactly my cup of tea. I could imagine how this concept would work, but it turned out perfect. You get to meet new people and eat great food at the same time. We had a bottle of local white wine, which was an excellent pairing for the menu. I can’t wait to be back!!!

I feel awful leaving less than 5 stars - because the truth of the matter is that the food and service was incredible. Marta and Andre were perfect and my entire meal was amazing. But the fact is that this is an extremely intimate experience - a small table for just 10 - and so the entire experience must be considered in a rating and that includes your neighbors - because they have been designed into the equation here. Hopefully you are more lucky than I and bump elbows with nicer humans because those I was bumping elbows with were not people I'd EVER want to sit so close to again! This is meant to be an experience you share with the people next to you - chat with them, make acquaintances, maybe even leave as friends! I am traveling alone and therefore booked for just one and had the unlucky experience of being wedged between two men who apparently had zero interest in conversing with their neighbors. I attempted to introduce myself to the guy to my right - who was also late and therefore made all of us wait 15 min on him. He barely replied / engaged with me in any conversation before taking a PHONE CALL at the table - I could overhear someone screaming at him and finally, after minutes of this and before our next course was served I had to ask him to take it outside! From then on he didn't say a single word to me and mostly either sat with his arms crossed or texting. Meanwhile on my left, I had a group of three from Singapore, an older couple and a younger "businessman". They talked about work - mostly complaining about a female coworker through the entire meal. The younger guy on my left never once - through an entire 2 hour meal - introduced himself, addressed me or attempted to make any conversation. His body language was completely turned away (elbow on the table). Never in my life have I been made to feel so small and insignificant by two "men" (if you can call either of them that!!). I decided partway in that I would not let these people ruin my meal or my experience - but in all honesty, I would not return here based on the fact that you have to sit at a tiny family table with strangers. I would prefer to sit alone and have my own experience. Maybe mine was simply a really unfortunate one, but it really left me sad.

This was one of the most amazing experiences I had while in Lisbon. You're seated at a single harvest table with 8-10 diners, and share a 5 course meal with strangers. In the two hours we made friends with everyone at the table, including the 2 chefs, who were extremely hospitable. We had every course explained thoroughly to us, the option for a nice wine pairing including dessert wines. Highly recommend if you're looking for a unique, intimate experience with amazing food! We were told the menu changes seasonally every 2 or so weeks, we'd definitely go back!

We went here for my girlfriends birthday and what an amazing experience! The concept is very cool sitting next to the other 8 guests and having such close interaction with the chefs. The food was incredible and so was the service. Anyone who wants to try something new with a casual fine dining experience must go here!

Very interesting concept of having dinner with people you don't know. For some it can be a little bit weird in the beginning but after a couple of glasses with wine the atmosphere is good and relaxed. The food is very good and so is the service. Highly recommended if you want to do something that's a little bit different than other restaurants in Lisbon. Remember to book table in advance.

Very frankly - the best food experience I've had in Lisbon, and one of the best I've had in the world. The chefs were both knowledgeable, friendly, and very lovely. The food was phenomenal, very unique and tasty, but the setting was unique! A single table,bright next to the 2 on-duty chefs. Truly believe these guys will pick up a Star in the next few months... Wish I lived in Lisbon so I could come here more often!!!

Booked this place for a 7:30 slot and the food and vibe were amazing. There's only 1 table so introverts beware - you'll be bumping elbows with total strangers. The food and wine were fantastic. Before every meal the chef would give us a brief intro on what they were cooking and why. One of our dishes was a wonderful breed of pigs that were from Portugal and feasted on local acorns. The chefs were also extremely accommodating to vegetarians and never made them feel left out. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an intimate night out with future friends.

DONT MISS THIS PLACE. We happened to walk past this place when wandering the streets of Barrio Alto. We called up and got in the second sitting and it was one of the best decisions we made all holiday! The food was absolutely incredible - the best we have had in Portugal, as was the wine! And the two chefs were so great and really made the evening. Book this place, you will not regret it!

What a great experience. This is basically a very small room, with only ten seats, with four chefs cooking for you. Very intimate. The food is amazing and they have a good wine selection but the spirits are a little bit expensive. The menu is always changing. Try it out with your foodie friends!

The food is five stars, easily Michelin star level. The space is very low key, tiny room, not very comfortable. The chefs are great. If you feel like trying exquisite food in a shoebox, this is the place to go to.

Locale piccolissimo, una stanza con cucina e un tavolo comune da massimo 10 coperti. Siamo capitati per caso poiche tutti gli altri ristoranti erano pieni. Devo dire che é stato una piacevole sorpresa. Il locale é gestito da 2 ragazzi molto gentili. Ì piatti sono molto saporiti, ricercati e ben presentati. Non do la quinta stella perché a mio avviso le porzioni, giuste se non siete particolarmente affamati, costano un pò troppo. Scelta limitata a 3 antipasti, 3 piatti principali e 3 dolci (cosa a me gradita poiché in genere mi perdo nel menu).

I went with 1 friend, met interesting dinner companions, had a high level of interaction with the chefs... and of course the food and drink is out of this world. Even the water at Local tastes better. Bravo to Miguel and his top chefs. Could not recommend more.

An amazing experience for a dinner. Firstly, you are literally sitting in the kitchen with the Chef cooking just 2 meters away from you. And secondly there is only one big table. So even if you are just two, eventually you will spend your evening talking to the other people sitting there. Great food. And deserts were just out of comparison.

Great food in a great location. Really enjoyed the experience of dining in this intimate and relaxed restaurant. The chefs are super friendly and the food is excellent. I particularly enjoyed the pork cheek with truffle and the Paris-Brest is delicious. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit if you are in Lisbon. I will be back.

An amazing intimate experience where you are literally invited into the chef's kitchen! We tried as starters the lobster ravioli and the foie gras: to die for! Then pork cheek and aspargus with quinoa andto end fabulous desserts. The chef Leonor was really friendly and recommended us a great wine. I would recommend this well located reataurant with excellent cuisine if visiting Lisbon

As doses são ridículas.! Pedi uma salada de quinoa (que está indicado como prato principal e que custa 15€) e veio uma forma de quinoa equivalente a duas colheres de sopa, sem nenhum tempero, completamente insípida. O vinho também é caríssimo. O restaurante vem indicado para crianças mas só se for para bebés porque as crianças vão ficar cheias de fome.

Très bon moment passé dans ce tout petit restaurant, cependant très convivial. La nourriture y est excellente, des entrées aux desserts, le tout à un prix très raisonnable compte tenu de la qualité. J’y retournerai sans hésiter lors de mon prochain séjour à Lisbonne. A recommander !

De passage sur Lisbonne j'ai fait un arrêt au Local : cuisine très raffinée qui évolue au cours des saisons avec un personnel très agréable ! Le restaurant est composé d'une table de 10 personnes pour permettre des discussions partagées et des rencontres improbables. J'ai passé un très bon moment, je recommande !

Comida de autor pela mão do Chef André Lança Cordeiro, num único espaço uma mesa para um máximo de dez pessoas e a cozinha. Mais do que uma refeição é uma verdadeira experiência culinária. E aquele que é provavelmente o melhor restaurante de Lisboa tem preços bastante acessíveis, a minha mulher e eu pedimos e partilhámos tudo o que havia no menu e o preço foi 110€ mais bebidas.

É uma experiência! A equipa é extremamente atenciosa e o chefe um génio da cozinha. A comida é fenomenal, uma dança de sabores extraordinária. O espaço muito engraçado é acolhedor. Recomendo vivamente!
