Sin duda te aconsejo que te sientes en su terraza para degustar su desayuno. El precio y la calidad es perfecta, zumo natural de naranja, con un croisant perfecto Y un pan para poner mantequilla de mermelada recién hecho con un magnífico café. El toque el pastel típico de nata. Lo único malo es el desastre de servicio. Es una pena y eso hace que lo valore cono tres estrellas. Puedes tardar una barbaridad en que te traigan el desayuno. Después de estar 3 días todo el servicio depende de quien tome las comandas. Después ya puedes entrar directamente en el castillo de San Jorge y disfrutar de toda la zona que lo rodea.

Le service fut un peu long ce qui peut se comprendre vu que le restaurant et la terrasse étaient bondés. Par contre service impeccable et très très sympa (le directeur a pris la peine de parler à son serveur en français pour que nous comprenions). Les plats étaient vraiment excellents, sans aucun doute la meilleure expérience culinaire que nous avons faite à Lisbonne !
Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !

Super cute place with great tapas and slow good vibes music. They’re conscious about not wasting food. We had the Codfish & Potato Cake and the Veal Sandwich and Lemonade with mint and ginger. Delicious! Obrigada!

El local no es amplio ni el mobiliario cómodo, pero se come bien. Comimos tipo tapeo. De primero unas croquetas de bacalao y una especie de empanadillas de gambas. También pulpo. De segundo unos guisos con carne (creo que ternera y pollo). Todo bueno. Raciones justas. Servicio rápido a pesar de que estaba lleno. No me resultó caro.

Cuisine excellente. Produits frais et cuisinés avec soin, en bonne quantité ! On y est retournés 2 fois dans nos 4 jours sur Lisbonne, le meilleur resto qu’on ai fait. Bonus pour les desserts qui sont juste incroyables (la tarte au citron vert un régal!). Pour finir les cuisinières sont hyper sympas.

Restaurant next to the Castelo do Sao Jorge at the end a small street. The decoration of the restaurant is simple bit warm. The service is friendly but too slow. The food is good but the portions are small. Overall the quality price ratio is ok but with the wait it's a bit frustrating.

Cool concept with a lots of smaller dishes, so you can try a lot of their tasty food. Best to go there with a few friends. The more the better :)

Tout ce qu'on a mangé était excellent : l'assiette apportée en apéritif, le saumon et les brochettes de crevettes/calamars ; les desserts sont peut être un peu en dessous mais ils ne sont pas chers! On recommande absolument ce restaurant auprès du chateau !!

Hemos tenido que esperar pero ha merecido la pena. Hemos comido una sopa del día rica rica y con fundamento. También, un prego sabrosísimo. Por la espera, nos han hecho un descuento (que nunca me han hecho) y ofrecido un pastelito de nata, todo un detalle. Recomendable 100%.

Should you visit? Yes. We had ceviche style cod, octopus salad, potato and chorizo soup, and crispy bolo de caco (traditional sweet potato bread with garlic butter) - all excellent choices. Quite a small restaurant, but without a doubt the best food near the castle.

We booked a table at 18h for 20h, came with 2 kids and it was absolutely delightful. Very nice host taking good care of visitors, good food advise, wonderful taste, perfect atmosphere. It's like being at home but doing nothing but enjoy. Best experience in Lisbon!!

Honestly, one of the best places of Lissabon. This tiny restaurant has amazing service and even better dishes to offer. My girlfriend and I had an amazing dinner, and we tried a lot of their tapas sizes dishes. The waiter was more than friendly and actually told us that we should not order more than what we just said so we would not "over-order". We can strongly recommend this place to everyone who would like to dine in a small cute restaurant with amazing dishes.

Absolutely amazing afternoon and evening of food and drinks at this hidden little gem in the shadow of Castelo de S. Jorge. The petiscos was sublime and our hostess was extremely friendly and attentive. Make sure you go down the little side street entrance. We were lucky to have live music after eating outside from the amazing Raphael Racor. Highly recommended

My husband and I were so lucky to be staying near this cozy and delicious spot. Everything from the vintage dinnerware to the tapas combining delightful local flavors added to this wonderful dining experience. We chose an array of tapas including Pica-Pau, shrimp in garlic, tempura green beans, Prego (which we had in other restaurants, but it was best here) and chicken wings. Their homemade bread and butter is equally amazing as well as their olives and carrots which they supply immediately. However you only get charged for what you eat. We opened both jars and ate bread. Definitely worth it! The service was friendly and suggestions for wine and cocktails were nicely curated by the staff. They even made a rather tasty margarita! We fell in love with this place and highly recommend it. If in Lisbon, treat yourself and stop in for lunch or dinner. It was the food highlight of our trip.

Delicious and friendly staff. A small restaurant with limited spaces and you may need to be patient for ordering when peak hours (I was there around 1:30pm and waited about 15-20mins to order. The reason why I was here because of looking for local taste and octopus. Only thing is the dishes quite small.
Chicken wings is recommended and tasty, better than octopus.

This was the best dinning experience of our trip.
We stopped for lunch after a visit to the castle, the restaurant is 5 minutes from the gate but down a little side street so rather quiet.
The young woman who served us was a gem (I wish I could remember her name she deserves a mention).
The menu was all in Portuguese so we needed assistance, after allot of laughing we said to her just bring us traditional dishes. Well what a surprise for starters was a cold meat and cheese board with some wonderful olives, then came the mains, we ate a rabbit salad which was fantastic, we tried pig's ear salad (a traditional Portuguese dish) which I'm sure wouldn't be for everyone but we found it a delight. The cod fish cakes where very nice. The beef in a pickle/mustard type source was divine.
Also I have to note that the sangria was the best we have had in Portugal!

Inés y Alejandro nos regalaron una de las comidas mas divertidas que recuerdo, con una degustacion de buenos platos y un esfuerzo por estar a buen nivel, pero sin perder la sonrisa y las ganas de interactuar con sus clientes. Vinos, postres, chupito de Oporto, gin-tonic, acompañaron una comida de calidad durante casi tres horas.
Se lo agradecimos y prometimos recomendarlo a amigos.

Delicious, local and a nice little location.
I had the code fish salat, a soup and pica Pau accompanied by a local white wine.

The staff is fluent in many languages (more than 6?) and very friendly.
The food is very good and you can check by the pictures: available for very good prices.
Leave some notes/greetings at the wall and say hello to coming travelers.

This place is right next door to Restaurante Conqvistador. The two share some overlapping menu items but each has their unique dishes as well. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent and friendly. I think trying the carrot salad here may have been the first time I genuinely enjoyed carrots. The octopus was seriously tender and delicious and the clams were among some of the best I ever ate in my life! Don't miss this place especially if you're visiting Castelo de Sao Jorge anyway.

This place is perfect. It’s quiet, right next to the castle. It’s down this little street and does not have a lot of obvious signs to find it. But you need to eat there. I had an incredible time. Try the haricot verts tempura

Quelle superbe soirée ! Nous sommes allés dans ce restaurant d'après les bons commentaires et nous n'avons pas été déçus. Une carte riche de spécialités portugaises, ce fut copieux et plus qu'abordable. À 2, nous avons pris un plateau de charcuterie et de fromage portugais : il était bien rempli et ce pour 17€! Le service fut parfait du début jusqu'à la fin. Le lieu, situé dans une petite rue, manque de visibilité et c'est extrêmement dommage car bien que petit est absolument charmant. Allez-y sans hésiter !

Ottimo ristorante. Ci siamo entrati per caso, ha qualche tavolo fuori ma c’era seduta solo una coppia. Una volta dentro il ristorante è veramente carino e la cucina ottima. Ho anche assaggiato un vino bianco che mi ha consigliato il cameriere, era di ottima qualità in un bicchiere abbondante e considerando il costo di 3€, molto buono.

Amazing place. Another discovery by chance. Great atmosphere on the outside space. Great food, great sangria and great service with friendly staff. Would totally recommend if you’re in the Castle area. It wasn’t too busy at night once most tourists are somewhere else. Would totally recommend.

There are apparently two restaurants that share the same name - one tapas bar, selling smaller dishes and more towards the end of the street and one at the beginning selling the dishes you see on the pictures of google (like the cod). Staff friendly and food was the okay.

The service was friendly. We ordered 5 dishes.In general they were ok, soup was nice, shrimps as well. However, the clams were too salty, so for me they were not really edible.. we also had olives and some of them tasted rotten...

별점이 높기에 그냥 와봤는데... 미쳤습니다; 이 식당이 저한텐 미슐랭 3스타고 마스터셰프고 냉장고를 부탁해입니다ㅠ sauteed shrimp w/ 어쩌구랑 Gaspacho 랑 Pica-pau랑 salted codfish and potato cake 먹고 white sangria 마셨는데 다 맛있어요... 저는 특히 새우랑 피카푸?가 진짜 최고였습니다 웨이터 분도 친절하셨고 작은 portion으로 포르투갈 전통음식을 맛볼 수 있게 하는 컨셉도 너무 좋았어요! 각 접시당 양은 적지만 가격도 합리적이어서 뷔페식 식사 괜찮으시면 무조건 좋을 거에요ㅠ 저 다음에 리스본 올 때까지 이 식당 남아있게 제발 많이 많이 가주세요...

Brilliant. Everything on the menu is excellent, tasty, the best of home cooking. Staff thoughtful, caring and attentive. Fresh ingredients daily. Small, private, sunny, quiet. Don't miss this great place. Try the rabbit, sheep's cheese and codcake.

What a wonderful little restaurant! Everything we ate or drank here was delicious. I was even able to try out a Lisbon craft beer. The service was friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere relaxed. We really enjoyed the music, a selection of Portuguese artists that perfectly set the mood. The next time I am in Lisbon I will definitely return to Petisqueira Conqvistador!

Essen war gut, drei mal ein Bier (Flasche +Glas) bestellt, nach ca. 45 Minuten aufgegeben und bezahlt, weil es nicht kam. Dem Kellner muss man zugute halten, dass er scheinbar überfordert war, weil unterbesetzt, was nicht seine Schuld ist.

Friendly Service, delicious food (try the pica pau & the pumpkin soup) and a small but cozy dining room (nothing for introvert or claustrophobic). A bit pricey for portugal but since it's in the middle of one of the most touristic quarters that's nothing to complain about If you like a dinner a bit off the beaten track (where they persuade/drag you into their Restaurant and show you pictures of their dishes).

We love this place. It has it all, delicious food, amazing service and great atmosphere. We got 7 petisquerios - asked for a second round of the pulpo salad and beans, got a delicious sangria, an extremely refreshing mint lemonade, and we ended the night with coffee and desserts. I love experiencing and having yummy food. Lisbon has delicious food but this place is beyond delicious, it is simply perfect. We went in with our 6 month old daughter and the woman there was super attentive offered as a child seat, for us to place stroller beside us (super impressive considering how adorably small the place is) even asked if she should lower the music. I highly recommend this place. Make sure not to confuse this place with the one at he corner, you need to go further in to find his place.

We bumped into this restaurant late in the evening and wanted to have something warm. The service was relatively quick, the local soup was the best here. Allergens are not marked on the menu. However, it can be a bit chilly during a august night evening, they do have blankets if you need it!

Estou completamente feliz com a experiência que tive ,fui muito bem atendida por uma empregada de mesa muito simpática!! Tomei uma sopa ,creme de abóbora com requeijão, foi a melhor sopa que tomei em minha vida!!
Em seguida comi asinha de frango que está no mesmo nível da sopa, e fui surpreendida com os peixinhos da Horta, diga-se de passagem é uma maravilha !
Gostaria de saber o nome do chef(a) que faz essas delícias de comida equipe está de parabéns .

This is part of the group of restaurants on this street (the tapas part) but we had read from other reviews that this restaurant in particular was more authentic and quality. From our experience, we would agree! We ate the marinated carrots, olives, bread, and butter they bring to you from the get-go (you only pay for what you eat) and my favorite was the carrots. Then we ordered the migas, prego sandwich, and caldo verde- all delicious, though the caldo didn't have as much flavor. All in all, some of best (and from-scratch) food we've had in Lisbon so far.
There was one server and we were sat quickly, and although it took a bit of time to order and receive food, it was not much of a wait compared to other service we've experienced here. We went at around noon on a Friday. Overall very friendly as well.

Excellent Gazpacho, yummy bread and tasty dishes whatever you try. All at reasonable prices. Loves the octopus salad too.
Probably best with friends so you can try and share many dishes. A stone throw from the castle for the tourists.

Really nice interior, the staff were friendly and helpful. The cod Carpaccio was exceptional, octopus salad was also very nice. The chicken wings were in a nice sauce but very salty. Fried cuttlefish was nice but didn't compare to the other dishes we tried.
We did order a cheese plate which never came.
Overall it's a nice place to eat and worth the trip, the quality of the dishes does vary a bit.

Soup and the dishes were good, delicious, but I would say nothing extraordinary! Waitors are kind, but not enough to serve all the guests. There was a little running around (by them), and a bit longer waiting time then usual, but in general, its a good restaurant if you are not in a rush :)

I cannot recommend their tapas bar..
We had to wait about 75 min for our food and the service wasn't that good, but maybe just at this evening. The food was just partly eatable.
Order the menu with whole meals - so much better!!!

Tiny restaurant, you should make a reservation if you go there late. Good food, lovely atmosphere, the waitress wasn’t too nice unfortunately. But maybe it was just not her day :) you should go there anyway!

Cibo davvero ottimo però non mi è piaciuto pagare tutti gli antipasti e il pane avendo assaggiato solo le olive (sul menù era specificato che si pagava solo ciò che si mangiava ma, di fatto, se non mandi via le portate e rimangono al tavolo te le mettono in conto) e, inoltre, avendo prenotato con the fork avevamo diritto ad uno sconto che è stato applicato solo sul cibo e non sul totale.

Unser erster Abend in Lissabon und dann gleich diese kleine, feine Entdeckung. Es gibt überhaupt nichts an diesem wunderbaren Restaurant mit seinen schmackhaften und appetitlichen Speisen auszusetzen. Wir hatten Gazpacho, Pulposalat und Bacalahau kalt im Ceviche-Style. This tiny little place up the castle hill was hands down the best surprise in Lisbon!
From the nice and helpful staff, to the awesome tapas, nice wines and most inportantly low prices, would give 6 stars if I could.
Didnt have better tapas in Barcelona, so this means a lot!
Do not miss it, butbe careful its a small location and can get full easily.

Prenotato tramite the fork,abbiamo usufruito dello sconto del 30% sul totale. Posticino tranquillo è molto piccolo con pochi posti a sedere, situato appena sotto il castello. Abbiamo preso una zuppa e altri tre piatti, pane e olive (rigorosamente a pagamento), 4 birre da 0.20 per un totale di 21 euro!

Très bonne adresse. La nourriture est excellente, ce sont des petits tapas. Les serveurs très aimables et agréables. L'intérieur vraiment joli et très esthétique. Même si le restaurant est à côté du château Saint George, ce n'est pas bondé de touriste, c'est calme. Ce n'est pas excessivement cher, on s'en est sorti avec une vingtaine d'euros chacun. Je recommande.

Really cute tiny place in a cozy, quiet stretch. House made pickled cumin carrots were a nice surprise addition to the standard bread and olives opener. Had a bottle of averhino, the caudo verde, tempura string beans, pica-pau and steak sandwich. Food and service was great all around.

In tegenstelling tot andere reviews vond ik dit geen 'hidden gem'. Het eten is lekker en er zijn interessante gerechten maar de porties zijn redelijk klein. Daarnaast ben je voor een portie friet een stuk beter uit bij de standaard Hollandse cafetaria.
Het restaurant zelf ziet er daarom wel mooi uit. De eetruimte is krap met zes tafeltjes maar heeft veel karakter en oogt gezellig.
Het personeel was erg klantvriendelijk, je wordt snel geholpen en het eten liet niet lang op zich wachten.

Excellent food (the Prego sandwich was amazing) and a friendly staff. If you are a large group this is probably not a good place as the space is very limited, but they accommodated our 2yo without any issues.

Fue nuestra segunda noche en Lisboa y este sitio fue justo lo que habíamos estado buscando. En una calle apartado del bullicio y con bastante encanto. Comida tradicional en forma de pequeñas porciones. Todo riquísimo y con un precio contenido. Comimos ensalada de bacalao, tabla de quesos e hígado en salsa de vino tinto, para terminar una tarta de calabaza, riquísimo todo. La dos chicas que estaban de camareras fueron un auténtico encanto y estuvieron muy atentas. Un abrazo

There are good restaurants in Lisbon, and this is one of the best. A young, creative kitchen with excellent food. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. The small and out of the way location makes its proximity to the castle inconsequential. It's tucked away in a small, quiet street.
