Schlichte buddhistische Stupa, abseits gelegen. Am besten man fährt mit GPS Daten. Für Asienkenner aber etwas enttäuschend.

Lieux paisible, silencieux,sauf quand le vent chante,..... café pas très loin,.... plusieurs chemin de promenade,...peux d'ombre ce munir de protection si l'ont veux rester longtemps a contempler le paysage.

First of all: A Place to be treated with Respect.
It is a wonderful quiet; remarkable and peaceful place. Therefore my first comment line. As I wish it stays like that. In the everyday stress we unconsciously look for peace, however in current human nature; most of us unconsciously destroy it.
On my journey for reconstructing myself and looking for some comfort, peace of mind, clear my ideas and thoughts. I found here a peaceful friendly place, mutual respect and understanding. Have crossed with some visitors there; no matter the language not even the need to say a word. People understand each other. If visiting for the first time, I advise to read the Information boards and contemplate what you see, hear and feel.

Wer an religioese Braeuche interessiert ist, besonders an Budismus, der findet hier oben in den Bergen zwischen Algarve und Alentejo ein Schulungszentrum mit einer traditionellen Stupa. Ein Monument in typischer Form, der glaeubige Budist laeuft im Kreis mehrmals um diese tatue herum und findet sein Gleichgewicht. Eine mentale Uebeung. Wenn man dran glaubt kann es helfen.
Dazu gibt es gratis eine tolle Aussicht ueber die Serra der Algarve.

Ein wunderschöner Rundumblick über das Tal. Ein Gebäude für Events... aber leider nicht bedient... nur ein kleines Café vor Ort.

I know this place looks and is great during the day. But... I highly recommend visiting this place for sun set! Not to mention the amount of stars you can see in the night sky at night here.

Prachtige locatie... Zeer geschikt voor deze boedhistische stupa....de hoogste heuveltop...zeer hoog uitstekende overde wijde omgeving....ik schat meer dan 10 kilometer in een cirkeldiameter.....een mystieke plek....ideaal om er je te bezinnen of tot rust te komen......

Not well advertized. Nice drive through the mountains. Need GPS coordinates to get to. Beautiful statue, good story but short visit once you get there.

An absolute hidden gem!!
Would 10/10 recommend. A peaceful and quiet place for meditation with the most spectacular view. Quiet and relaxing you will definitely want to spend more time here. Highlight of my trip to Algarve.

Local super relaxante, tem uma vista estupenda para a serra algarvia com Monchique a espreitar ao longe. O facto de ficar longe de centros urbanos raramente tem gente a visitar, o que torna a experiência ainda mais sossegada e especial. Durante uma visita em julho fiquei espantado pela quantidade e variedade de borboletas que habitam no templo.

The road is good. I put it on the GPS and I arrived without problems. besides the privilege of walking and meditating around the stupa, the view from above is incredible. Besides, I found a cute puppy, which I called "the guardian of the stupa." I recommend that you bring water. I went in late October and it was very hot.
