Das Museum gibt sich viel Mühe, ist allerdings sehr klein. Hatte mir mehr davon versprochen, gerade wenn es ein Sklavenmuseum ist. Die Kirche ist ungewöhnlich nüchtern und prunlos eingerichtet. Von aussen attraktiver als von innen.

Si vous êtes Français, dîtes vous que vous allez payer pour voir UNE pièce magnifique de l édifice et que vous n aurez aucune indication en Français.bonne occasion pour réviser son Anglais.franchement pas cher, mais trop pour ce qu'il y a a voir !!!!!!

This amazing church, attached to Lagos’ main Museum, is certainly one of Lagos’ highlights. Its extravagant Baroque decoration is considered to be the most beautiful in Portugal. Ornate, golden painted wood carvings fill the walls, along with beautiful azulejo tiles (blue and white).
The church also features 6 paintings which represent the miracles of Saint Anthony (Santo António). At the altar, upon the throne, is on the patron Saint Anthony with the Child Jesus in the arm, flanked by two angels who hold torches.
The church was built in 1707 and then rebuilt in 1769 after the devastating 1755 earthquake. The lavishness of the church is likely due to the fact it was used as a place of worship for military personnel before taking off on their long voyages, and so was given money upon their return as thanks.The Church has two bell towers of differing heights, which a a beautiful and distinctive landmark of Lagos.

C'est un édifice religieux, certes magnifique de par sa richesse ornementale mais dont le prix d'entrée nous a semblé bien trop élevé eu égard à notre visite. J'ai du mal malgré tout, à me faire à l'idée que l'on puisse faire du business dans les édifices religieux... aussi beaux qu'ils soient

Iglesia pequeña y muy hermosa. Esculturas, la mayoría ángeles en madera, pintada en oro. Todos los meses se realizan eventos musicales gratuitos de buen nivel. Entrada gratuita.

A talha dourada da igreja de S. António data de 1718, originalmente feita pelo mestre Gaspar Martins. Destruída no terramoto de 1755, os retábulos foram refeitos em 1764 pelo mestre entalhador Custódio Mesquita, que nos deixou esta obra estrondosa, de ficar de boca aberta!

Een kleine kerk met vooral met goud beschilderd houtwerk. Barok 'over de top'. Bij binnenkomst kun je ervoor kiezen om een combi-ticket te kopen voor kerk, fort en slavernijmuseum. Helaas was het museum van de kerk gesloten voor een verbouwing. Het is binnen in de kerk niet toegestaan om foto's te maken of te filmen.

Mann sollte den Eintritt zusammen mit dem Mercado dos Escravos und dem Forte da Ponta da Bandeira kaufen, ist günstiger. Eintrittskarten beim Mercado dos Escravos kaufen. Sind freundlich und weisen einem darauf hin, nicht wie an den anderen Orten.

Well worth a visit, with beautiful decorations adorning the entire interior, and also some explanations of the 18th century oil paintings within. Photos aren't allowed, but it is €0.75 for those who are 13 to 26, and €1.50 for those 27 and above

Sehr interessante Kirche. Sehr schöne Verzierungen aus Holz mit Blattgold beschichtet. Der Eintrittspreis ist sehr gering. Definitiv zu empfehlen. Das Bilder und Videos verboten sind finde ich verständlich. Ein Set mit mehreren Bildern kann ab 40 Cent bis 5 Euro erworben werden.

Igreja bonita, altar muito rico. Existe uma sepultura no meu interior de um irlandês protestante que ajudou na reconstrução da igreja após o terramoto e que pouco tempo antes de morreu foi batizado e converteu se ao cristianismo.

Церква зачинена з 13.00 до 15.00. Вартість відвідування - 2 євро. Це місце обов'язково слід відвідати у Фару. Каплиця з кісток вражає. Це дещо моторошно, якщо замислитися, що це справжні людські кістки, але й вражаюче одночасно. При цьому каплиця виглядає як справжній витвір мистецтва.

Der Eintrittspreis ist mit 2 EUR gering. Die Kirche ist sehr kostbar ausgestattet. Kaum zu verstehen war, dass keine Foto- und Videoaufnahmen gemacht werden dürfen. Beschreibungen gibt es neben Portugiesisch nur auf Englisch. Die Mitarbeiter machten einen grimmigen und gelangweilten Eindruck. Während des gesamten Aufenthaltes in der Kirche wurden wir von einer Aufsicht beobachtet.

Kościół bogato złocony barokowymi dekoracjami z XVIII wieku, najciekawszy punkt wycieczki. Czas zwiedzania max 2 min. Cena 1.5 euro. Muzeum obecnie zamknięte, w renowacji. Warto zwiedzić razem z muzeum jak będzie otwarte.

Очень красивая церковь, шикарное строение, жаль не зашла во внутрь. Умеют же строить!!! Думаю здание старое, но жители Португалии очень трепетно относятся к своей истории, и по этому следят за собором!!!

La Iglesia preciosa! Pero ojo con la taquillera, una estafadora que actúa rápidamente. Nos endosó la entrada para tres monumentos sabiendo que éramos jubilados, se lo dijimos nada más llegar, y con precio de jubilado comprando las entradas por separado nos salía mucho más barato.

Tag des denkmals. Lt. Touristeninfo Bauarbeiten und geschlossen.
Ist aber geöffnet und nimmt natürlich Eintritt.
Geht hier nicht um paar Euro, aber man fühlt. Sich hier einfach nur veralbert.....

Beautiful church
Like many of Portugal's oldest churches it features an attractive facade with an incredible interior. You just have to see the striking Jesus on the cross which dominates the impressive altar. Some huge doors are unusual. Also houses impressive gallery seats which leave you wondering how do you get up there.

Eintritt kostet 3,-.Zu sehen gibt es dann nur ein kleines Heimatmuseum und die mit Baugerüsten zugestellte Kapelle, die fast komplett damit verdeckt ist.
