The most expensive family meal we ever had. Even in Ireland that we think the food it's quite expensive we never pay €87 for a small portion of food. Very poor variety of food. No vegetables, salads, etc.. We had the option of having rice or chips with our main course meal.When we arrived, we were welcomed with one of the staff accidentally smashing a glass on the floor near the front door; Some of the customer eating and talk loud because they were hammering their shell to eat. I wouldn't go back to this restaurant. I would not recommend it. The only positive feedback I have is about the service, Daniel was very professional, polite and respectful.
This is our first evening in Portugal. I hope we will have a better luck next time.

Ужасно! Читал разные отзывы и многие рекомендовали посетить, ну что сказать морепродукты не свежие, заранее приготовленные. За 100 евро набор на двоих отвратителен, если возьмёте с омаром, то будет одна голова и пару кусков хвоста. Своих денег не стоит. Лучше найдите, что получше.

Was recommended to come here to try some of the best seafood in Lisbon. The food was good but I don't think the price matches the quality of food you get.
Food took a long time to come and the service not very attentive. For a pricey place I would expected more.
If you do come I would recommend the shrimps in garlic. That garlic oil goes with everything you will have as part of your meal!!!

Horrible service. Waiter was very rude, very pushy with the extra things they bring even though you don’t ask for them and say no when they bring them. It took 30 mins for him to bring the bill over. Seemed very much that they were trying to take advantage of tourists.

We ordered 6 grilled prawns, a crab and French fried potatoes which provided plenty of food for 3 adults. Shortly after being seated we received a nice dish of warm buttery toasted bread. Service was attentive by a server well skilled in multitasking in a fast paced high energy restaurant.

Delicious seafood. It was nice to go to a restaurant not full of tourists but full of locals. We had shrimp with garlic and olive oil, mussels and glams. The serving portion is big. The price is reasonable and cheaper compared to other touristy places. The staff are efficient and nice. Recommend!

The que for Ramiro was very long so we decided to check this joint out just up the street. Not a hit piece against Ramiro; food and service was excellent when we went there the first time, but I'm glad we avoided waiting for 2 hours (verified by other guests) for the exact same thing in my opinion. Daniel, our waiter, was extremely professional and personable. Although I'm not a seafood expert, I felt that the quality, price, and preparation was on par. Both are excellent restaurants, you cannot go wrong with either. Both restaurants have permanently ruined Red Lobster for me (Canadian chain). A great experience to say the least, thanks Daniel.

The location of this place is in a space that feels authentic, it’s not the most posh place of Lisbon, and the restaurant is aware of this and isn’t trying to be anything more than that. In this restaurant you have locals in sweatpants coming here with their mothers, you have old men coming in to sit by the bar to watch football, and you have a couple dresses in their finest clothes ready to eat a king crab. I honestly really just loved the mix of people, I felt that absolutely everyone was welcome here.
It was my last night in Lisbon, so I decided to go here. I hadn’t booked a table, but I only needed to wait for about 40 minutes, which wasn’t too bad, although in hindsight I recommend you to book a table in case you’re not so lucky.
The seafood platter itself was so amazing. You have the classic seafood, and then you also have a small plate of stir-fried shrimps in olive oil and garlic; and honestly I loved this, it just broke off the otherwise seawater-heavy flavors. A really good complement for this dish, that was still in the seafood theme.
Price-wise, it’s a bit steeper than rest of Portugal. I paid about 50 euros, including wine. But considering that it’s real seafood and just overall amazing, it’s worth it.
If I have to complain about something, it would be that some of the mussels were empty, but honestly I don’t care, everything was so good. I’d definitely return here if I ever come back to Lisbon.

I had a very good seafood dinner here, taking clams in parsley and garlic sauce and goose barnacles. The food is very fresh: clean flavours and simple recipes that don't needlessly embelish or complicate the main ingredients. The menu has enough options to make picking difficult but not too many that it becomes frustrating. The waiting staff were personable and knowledgeable. Not super cheap but it's quality seafood so that's to be expected. Definitely worth visiting.

Esperava mais e melhor. O marisco é razoavel, embora demore a servir o cliente. A comida não tem nada de fascinante e as sobremesas, tem muita escolha e poucas ou nenhumas são caseiras. Não foi péssimo mas também não tem nada que me faça lá deslocar de propósito.

La experiencia fue horrible, nos intentaron engañar a toda costa,inflando los precios,pedimos 2 botellas de albariño q en la carta marcaban un precio y al traer la cuenta eran 6 euros mas caras cada una,cuando lo reclamamos empiezan a echar la culpa a otros camareros.El marisco seco, los mejillones de vergüenza, carísimo para la poca calidad. Lo único bueno la centolla pero la pagas a precio de oro.No lo recomiendo para nada. Decepcionante.

Sitio estupendo, estaba abierto un lunes(al contrario de otras marisquerías) fuimos sin reservar y tardan muy poco en pasarte. El pescado lo pagas al peso según la época del año y el mercado puede estar más o menos caro. El buey de mar te lo sirven fresco y con sus martillos para las pinzas. Los langostinos tigre recomendado100%fue todo lo que comimos para dos personas nos quedamos todo lo que se veía por las mesas tenía muy buena pinta!

If the queue at Ramiro is too big you really won’t regret going here. It’s very large and can do a lot of covers but the staff were helpful and the food plentiful. It’s good that you can order some dishes by the portion rather than just per kg. We saw a number of old men just drop in at the bar order a small plate and a beer and leave.

Possivelmente, há cerca de duas décadas que frequento “A Lis”, e, por piada costumo dizer que já lá deixei um Automóvel, não sei bem a marca, nem o modelo!!!!!!
Não haverá, melhor Marisco na cidade, mas o que não falta, é o fraterno acolhimento de TODOS que trabalham nesta, “minha”, Marisqueira!!!!!!
Muito grato, por estes Anos de confiança e respeito mútuo, sendo sempre um gosto estar em vossa companhia!!!!!!!
Um pormenor, TODA a Cozinha, está sempre limpa, valorizando a Higiene.

We were recommended this place. And we are happy we went. Local shellfish joint. Lovely quick and warm service. Even though they didn't speak English we had a good communication. The mixed plate with shellfish was good. A nice variety and several things were new to me. Didn't liked it all but happy to have tried and I can highly recommend this place. Remember to order "prego" afterwards. It's a sandwich kind of food. Very good. We had green wine with the plate. A choice that was very good.

Fresh and Delicious, be arrived by 7 before it gets crowded. Had big crab (1.05kg), clams with coriander, octopus salad (1/2 dose) and 4 beers, which costed me around 59 euros (2 plates of buttered bread as well). 5 stars for the price.

We are tourists from Asia. This place offers great selections of fresh seafood minus the long queue compares to the other place! Big sitting area too. If you order the mix platers, the crabs are from frozen so if you like really fresh crab meat, go for the individual crab from the water tank. We had very large (approx.1.5kgs) hairy crab and (approx.)1.3kgs crawfish lobster and couple small portions of goose barnacles and oyster the total bill was euro179 which we think it's reasonable.

Restaurant de fruits de mer proposant aussi de la viande pour les carnivores réfractaires. Le jambon ibérique constitue une bonne entrée mais il faut commander au fur et à mesure pour ne pas l'avoir en dessert. Langoustes magnifiques directement issues du vivier. Coquillages extra frais.

The cafe is dirty, seafood isn’t fresh - shrimps have been already boiled a long time ago. Also they were tough and seemed to be old.
Service is rather quick, but be aware of “complimentary dishes” - except usual bread with butter they bring you a jamon, which costs 5.5 euro.

We also decided to eat here instead of queueing in the huge line at the restaurant further down. And the seafood was amazing! Everything tasted fresh and the waiters were so friendly and attentive. It was a pleasure to eat here. The toasted bread and butter were delicious as well.
We were two people and shared the mixed platter (1 P) and one extra portion of shrimps.
We will come again!

We ordered the mixed seafood for 2 people, which was quite pricy (~75 €). The seafood did not seem fresh. My husband ate the oysters and he was food poisoned.

We randomly picked this restaurant and had a fantastic dinner. They had the fresh seafood via kg and also they had set dishes as well. The service was fantastic and quick. This was one of the two places during our two week stay we got our dish pretty much right after ordering. They definitely don't mind sharing dishes and the bread was fantastic. The dessert selection was nice and reasonably priced as well.

My family and I were really looking forward to try this restaurant, we didn’t mind the very long wait (almost 1 hour). But we were extremely disappointed with the way we were treated when we got to hour table. The waiter took ages to go to the table and give us the menu (1 menu to be shared among 4 people) again took ages to go back to take the order, about 20 min, when we tried to order the waiter seemed too distracted to what was going on around to even look at us while we tried to order, as we mentioned what we wanted we kept being told the item was not available on the menu, then we asked for a couple more minutes to reorder, then once again he gets busy with something else and don’t return for about 25 min, at this point we’ve had enough of his lack of professional skills and decided to leave. This restaurant seams to really only on its reputation and nothing else, I’m sure the seafood is very good and fresh as it is in many other restaurant in Lisbon! Very disappointed.

A lot of people talk about the seafood restaurant a bit further down the road, but this is truly a gem. We walked by and some local guys told us to go in here for some great seafood. We followed their advice and did not regret it. We ordered the crab and some garlic prawns, and also some goose barnacles and clams. Everything tasted good, the staff was funny and friendly and helped novices like us to figure out how to approach every dish. Since it's seafood the pricing is a bit higher than some other restaurants, but the experience is worth it!

Great food and a waiter who did a great job! We tried this place because we didn't want to wait 2h for Ramiros, and they did not dissapoint! The seafood platter was really terrific, and to be honest, we tried Ramiros two days later, and this place was better :)
So, people say Ramiros has great seafood, but overall boith the food and the service was better here

Muy decepcionante. El trato de los camareros es aceptable; pero la calidad del marisco de lo que va a la plancha nada fresco y muy lamentable,deja todo que desear. Las gambas al ajillo vienen pocas y son langostinos pelados congelados, no gambas. Los langostinos tigre a la plancha, a parte de secos, hacerse bola por ser ultracongelados y claro está, estar hecho todo con mantequilla (hasta el pan que te lo traen ya untado en ella), ya que no se vé en ninguna parte aceite oliva, encima a precio de carabinero del bueno, cuando su precio real no es ni el de un gambón. Y no se os ocurra pedir almejas en salsa, porque lo de la salsa es tan decepcionante o más que lo anterior; es agua con mantequilla, perejil a ramas y ajo crudo...En fin, creo que en cualquier lugar de Lisboa se come el triple mejor, con la mitad de dinero.

Todo lo que comimos estaba increíble de bueno y fue a buen precio. No quiero olvidar que el vino blanco que nos sirvieron estaba regulá patrá.
Fue un almuerzo buenísimo, en grqn compañía y en una ciudad genial.

我很少談論CP值，但這邊的海鮮燉飯應該是我目前吃到最讚的。
先別說撈出來有麵包蟹螯蟹腳，淡菜，大蝦（已去殼）跟海瓜子，螃蟹肉很明顯是新鮮的一絲一絲，這種新鮮程度只有西葡與城崎溫泉我吃到過。
味道是淡淡的南瓜與蟹膏融合在一起，長米被燉爛吸附湯汁，你以為這樣是幾人份？這居然只有1/2鍋，要價14歐元！
哪裡500台幣不到可以吃到這樣的料？
可以吃到藤壺跟海螺的海鮮拼盤（44歐元）都相形失色，忍不住想說之後我會放棄排隊到死又擁擠的Ramiro，優先選擇這間吃這海鮮燉飯。

We passed by the restaurant couple times when we go to the metro station. One night we finally decided to try the seafood there. The seafood are very fresh and staff are very pro. The staff provided very good suggestion that we have enough to eat. We ordered some ham as the starter, calms, shrimp and a spider crab. This was a great fest. The restaurant is very clean and good lighting. Not like those restaurant that you eat in the dark. Overall experience is very good. Highly recommend.

Usually against posting reviews but thought I’d save anyone the aggravation of coming here. Came here after Ramiro had a long wait and ended up spending $150 on frozen chewy seafood. When we told the waiter the seafood was still half frozen he shrugged and said “it would take longer to grill.” Totally ripped off.

Not a tourist trap at all! Perfect seafood platter along with fruity white wine, finished up with lemon sorbet (w/ vodka possible) as a dessert. Staff was friendly, humorous and pro. Beautiful! Highly recommended!

Went to this place as the wait for Ramiro was ridiculously long. First impressions of A Marisqueira was good as they have a large variety of seafood on display in tanks and the place was almost at full capacity.
The service was slow and we had to call for their attention to even get a menu. The food platter for two looked impressive but the actual quality of the seafood wasn’t as great as we’d expected. The shelled prawns were too firm in texture, the oysters didn’t taste that fresh and had no condiments but lemon to go with it and the mussels were bland and looked like they’d been cooked a while ago. The garlic prawns and small shelled prawns were very tasty however.
The whole ambience of the place (hectic) and bad service and substandard quality of seafood made it a bad dining experience for me and I spent the rest of the evening kicking myself, wishing I’d spent my money elsewhere.

Waren hier auf Empfehlung eines Freundes essen und begeistert! Hätten dieses Lokal wahrscheinlich sonst nie gefunden, es sind kaum Touristen dort gewesen, viele Einheimische und das ist ja meist ein gute Zeichen Haben verschiedene Gerichte probiert und alles war top! Die Preise sind super; in Deutschland würde man mindestens das doppelte bezahlen und es gibt wirklich alles, was man sich vorstellen kann an Meeresfrüchten

Hallo Zusammen, falls ihr auch auf dem Weg zum Restaurant Ramiro wart und dort wegen Überfüllung keinen Platz ergattern konntet, dann ist das Lis (ca.300m entfernt) die perfekte Alternative! Uns wurde der Laden von unserem Uber-Fahrer empfohlen. Er meinte, dass hier eher die Einheimischen hingehen und es nicht so überlaufen mit Touristen ist wie das Ramiro. Also probiert es einfach selber aus!! LG Martin

Estive em Lisboa por 4 dias e fui a marisqueira do Lis com minha prima por 2 vezes, de tanto que gostei. Comida excelente, ambiente agradável. E o super atendimento do Marcos que controla os lugares, do Paulo e do Carlos que ficam no balcão, e do Sérgio que nos serviu fizeram toda a diferença! Recomendo muito!

A única coisa que gostei foi do camarão cozido. As ameijoas à bolhão pato eram enjoativas e a manteiga no pão torrado também. Os empregados nada simpáticos, parece que estavam a fazer um frete ao receber o pedido. Ai Ramiro Ramiro, porque fechas em agosto ;(

Ok sans plus. Probable que le choix du midi n'ait pas été le bon... Crevettes au curi très bonne mais le "déjeuner aux crevettes" était un gruau fade avec quelques crevettes peu assaisonnées a la coriandre... Service correct.

Delicious!!!! Instead of using those poor restaurants on the main street you shoud definietely try this one. Sea food best in class!!! We loved it :) Octopus salad was veeery veeery tasty!

Visited August 2019, group of 5, non of us big eaters or drinkers. 1 bottle of 14 euro green wine.
We we'e recommended this as an alternative to Ramero's. It doesn't compare favourably. The most disappointing dish was the Large Crab shared between us. It seemed tired from deep freezing we guessed. When you striped the flesh off the claw, the meat just disintergrated into small fibers, not clumps of meat or anything like being whole. We left the bland tasteless crab almost untouched. The rest was okish, clams a bit greasy, generic prawns in garlic sauce. Just all rather forgettable. the bill came to 203.00 euro's.

Péssima relação qualidade/preço. Queríamos ter uma boa experiência de marisqueira e acabamos por ter de ir outra vez jantar a uma marisqueira na mesma rua(Luminosa by Furnas). Na Luminosa a mariscada foi mais barata e muito mais bem servida.
Evitar a todo o custo.

Great place for seafood! Although, when we visited, they were or of fish, so you could only get shell seafood.
The platter for two is very generous!
The food was fresh and well seasoned (where it was the case ).
Recommend paying them a visit! (Especially if you get fed up waiting on the totally random queue at Ramiro ).

We were ready to wait for over an hour at another seafood place down the street, but decided to ditch due to extremely high wait time... couldn’t be happier for this turn of events!! This place not only had the freshest of seafood- we were seated next to what turned out to be the local seafood inspector and his wife! We ordered the mixed seafood platter for two and were amazed by the variety and quality of seafood. Highly recommended!! Obviously a favorite of LOCALS and this speaks for itself! Skip the tourist trap and give this restaurant a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Fruits de mer, langouste, crabe super frais! Un peu d'attente mais ça vaut la peine. N'allez pas au Ramiro qui se trouve à 5 min plus bas... bcp trop touristique et l'attente est insupartable. La marisqueira do lis est bcp plus typique de la région.

Great service!
The octopus salad and the fish soup were delicious.
The boiled cod main dish for two was average. The fish was slightly undercooked for my taste. The chick peas and potato sides were unprepared and did not meet my expectations at all.

Io e i miei amici ci abbiamo cenato sotto consiglio di molte persone del posto che lo spacciavano come il miglior ristorante di mare di Lisbona. Non so se il motivo della nostra delusione sia dovuto al fatto che noi italiani (oltretutto sardi) siamo abituati ad avere nel piatto tutto un altro tipo di qualità quando si parla di cucina di mare, ma siamo rimasti veramente a bocca asciutta rispetto alle nostre aspettative, dovute anche ai prezzi tutt'altro che economici, considerando che molto probabilmente i cibi erano surgelati. Abbiamo consumato 2 antipasti che dovevano essere un insalata di polpo, ma che si sono rivelati un insalata di cipolle condita sporadicamente con del polpo, viste le proporzioni degli ingredienti, successivamente abbiamo ordinato (sotto consiglio del cameriere) 3 piatti mix, ognuno da dividere per 2 persone come ci è stato consigliato in quanto dovevano essere parecchio abbondanti. I piatti non solo non ci hanno saziati, in quanto composti si da diverse tipologie di prodotti (gamberi, ostriche, cozze, bocconi, etc) ma veramente in scarse quantità, per la modica cifra di 74€ per ognuno di questi piatti. Insomma, da bere abbiamo preso un vino ed il conto (diviso in 6 persone) è venuto 35€ a testa, e nonostante non fossimo sazi ci siamo alzati e siamo andati a mangiare da un'altra parte. Se questo è il miglior ristorante di mare di Lisbona, allora vi consiglio di orientarvi verso un'altro tipo di cucina. Ah, il pane si paga!

Really bad restaurant! I payed 10€ for a really small salad, and 5€ for the bread. We didn’t even ask for the bread, and they kept on bringing the bead without even asking for it.

El bogavante a la plancha lo queman, no ponen ni gota de aceite, dejando ese sabor a quemado, los percebes lo tienen cocidos y los ponen fríos, los camarones buenos, el servicio muy regular tirando a malo, la mahonesa servida en plástico, esperamos por los carabineros y estamos viendo que van estropear el producto otra vez , que no es malo, pero mal cocinado. Servicio de tasca mala.

A mariscada para 2 pessoas, trás bastantes mexilhões e berbigões para o preço oferecido, os “pecerves” ( ou percebes) muito mal cozinhados!

My experience started off pretty randomly at midnight one fateful evening. I passed by and saw the intense buzz inside the place so I popped in for a bit, which ended up turning into an epic meal. I had the shrimp soup, cod-fish egg salad, oysters, Pata Negra, and steak sandwich. The Pata Negra stole the show amongst all the other great dishes (the steak sandwich is the best I've had in Lisbon).
Even though this is considered a "seafood" restaurant, I was not impressed with the fish-egg salad or the shrimp soup but the oysters were on point.
This is my new "must-go-to" restaurant in Lisbon.

Очень приемлемые цены. Блюда готовят заранее. Не надейтесь, что вам приготовят из аквариума. Крабы уже сварены, креветки поджаренны. Но зато все очень-очень быстро. Народу много. Часто бывает очередь. Все свежее и вкусное. Официанты и повара очень дображелательны и приветливы. Рекомендую Рекомендую.

we waited around 2 hours for our food. we could see that our order was not put after we saw our table next to us who came later than us getting all the foods before us.
We got our food when the table next to us finished their meals. they came around 2p minute later we 'ordered'.
obviously they just forgot our order. because 1 hour later when we order, they then came to ask if the lobster is fine. and then giving the lobster another an hour later and saying " sorry the kitchen is so busy today "
please at least be honest to your customers.
and the lobsters didn't even have their legs! the size wasnt even big for 80 euro lobster.
totally not satisfied. won't recommend it to anyone

Experiencia horrible. Somos una pareja de muy buen comer y creo, sabemos bien diferenciar entre algo de calidad y un timo... el dueño es gallego te la intenta colar haciendose el sueco cuando le dices que el plato esta malo no, horrible. Muy caro para la mala calidad que ofrecen y la atencion bastante regular. Eso si el pan con mantequilla (que fue lo unico que pude comer) muy rico pero... a precio de lujo.

Por cierto, el dueño es Gallego (aunque yo creo que ya mas Portugues que Gallego).
Es un sitio donde comer o cenar tranquilamente sin los agobios de otros sitios mas orientados al turismo. Para mi, lo calificaria con un 10.

Ein bodenständiges Fischlokal hauptsächlich für Einheimische. Vor 20:00 wars leer, nach 20:00 dann voll. Preise sind absolut ok: Garneelen im Knoblauch, Muscheln, Oktopussalat usw. alles um die 9-11€. Kulinarisch gut mit etwas Luft nach oben. Fazit: ich kanns sehr gut empfehlen!

Best seafood in Lisbon. Found this place as an alternative for the cervejaria Ramiro and glad we did. Was tired of waiting on the line and glad that we found here. The clams in white sauce are amazing. Goose barnacles were great and fresh. Shrimps are perfect.

Acabámos por vir a este restaurante já que o Ramiro tinha mais fila do que os Pastéis de Belém a um sábado à tarde.
O atendimento foi simpático e eficiente. A comida era agradável, principalmente as gambas com alho e as amêijoas à bulhão pato. A sapateira não me encheu as medidas.

Un material excepcional y muy bien preparado. Probamos buey, centollo, mejillones, gambas y la açorda do marisco. Todo muy recomendable. El personal del restaurante es encantador y muy agradable. Como en toda Lisboa cuando os ponen los entrantes si no los queréis debéis pedir que se retiren, en nuestro caso era "lomito ibérico" (no tan bueno) y costó casi igual que el marisco.

Wir wollten mit mehreren Freunden eigentlich ins Ramiro an einem Freitag Abend aber die Schlange vor dem Restaurant war uns zu groß. Also fragten wir bei Einheimischen nach Alternativen und man schickte uns ins A Marisqueira. Wir haben die Entscheidung nicht bereut.
An der langen Theke sitzen Einheimische, schauen Fußball und trinken dabei frisch gezapftes Bier. Das freundliche und umsichtige Personal weist uns Plätze im etwas höher gelegenen Bereich zu. Der Raum und seine Ausstattung ist einfach gehalten und wirkt sehr sauber. Die Beleuchtung könnte für meinen Geschmack etwas gedämpfter sein.
Zum Probieren reichte man uns kalte Shrimps - die waren top frisch und wir bestellten darauf große Meeresfrüchteplatten. Dazu servierte man uns einen passenden und gut gekühlten Weißwein - perfekt.
Speisen, Getränke und Service haben mir sehr gut gefallen und das alles zu einem eher günstigen Preis. Die Beleuchtung mag manch einer etwas zu kühl finden, besonders wenn man zu zweit unterwegs ist und eine etwas gemütlichere Atmosphäre bevorzugt.
