Locale non accogliente. Quartiere caratteristico ma mal frequentato Malgrado la prenotazione abbiamo dovuto attendere. Forse un tavolo aggiunto all ultimo momento. ?...Personale molto attento alle tue esigenze forse per compensare una logistica incapacità a cucinare il pesce forse essendo napoletano sono abituato a ben altro. Ma cucinare pesce e’ un altro mondo. Per loro. Prezzo alto.

Fantastyczne jedzenie i obsługa, przyjemna atmosfera. Po godzinie 18 lepiej rezerwować stolik, wcześniej można po prostu wejść i się delektować.

We had a great dinner here last night. Very kind and helpful staff, great food. The steak was great! The chocolate cake was amazing!! We also loved that our verde vinho was kept cool in dry ice — such a fun idea!

Decent but not great. Prices too high for portion sizes relative to other restaurants in the area. Also had a bit of an odd smell I think coming from the toilets as we walked in which was a bit off putting.

Все понравилось. Места в ресторане немного, а желающих туда попасть - очень много, поэтому лучше забронировать столик заранее. При нас нескольким парам пришлось уйти, так как все столики были заняты. Приготовлено все отлично, подча блюд оригинальная , все очень красиво оформлено. Приготовили достаточно быстро

As the name suggests, this is a fish and seafood restaurant. They also serve sushi and sashimi in addition to the Portuguese cuisine. Everything we had was delicious.

Quite friendly staff, we got a glass of champagne as welcome. Food is good quality and very well prepared. Nice upscale interior.

Escolhi este restaurante para fazer uma mariscada. Fiquei supreendido pela variedade e qualidade fresca do Marisco. Excelente variedade de vinhos. Foi tudo de ficar de água na boca!

Photos from reviews don't correspond the reality (at least not anymore). It seems to be a pricey restaurant with staff that tries to earn money in tourists. Small portions, too much of advertising from staff, too much of attention during the dinner... they tried to charge a bottle of wine even though I ordered just a glass. I will not go there again!

Un lugar con encanto en el cual se puede degustar comida realmente exquisita, nada convencional. El trato excelente muchísima simpática súper atentos. Música fado en directo con una voz realmente increíble. La recomendación es 100% si realmente quieres visitar un sitio con encanto este es lugar que estás buscando !! Buen apetito.

Das Restaurant ist an sich empfehlenswert. Die Karte ist recht klein und dir Preise ein wenig gehoben.
Dennoch war das Essen super lecker, wurde schnell zubereitet und die Atmosphäre war sehr gut.

Na een slechte ervaring met fado en restaurant in een andere wijk was dit een verademing! Intiem, sfeervol, veel aandacht van het personeel en lekker eten. De wijk is niet zo toeristisch, het was een fijne avond.

Après s’etre vu refusé l’entrée dans un restaurant voisin soit disant parce qu’il était trop tard (21h15), nous avons essayé ce restaurant ma copine et moi.
Un excellent restaurant de poissons/fruits de mer et le service a été parfait. Vraiment un très bon moment.
Le vin blanc vraiment incroyable le verre est à 10,50€ mais il est à tombé par terre.
Les desserts peuvent être perfectionnés mais ils changent tous les jours.
J’ai rarement voir jamais mangé aussi bien pour un prix plus que correcte.
Les poissons/fruits de mer sont frais, le propriétaire étant pêcheur il les ramène et les cuisine.
Nous ne pouvons que recommander ce restaurant.

Highly recommend this place it is one of two restaurants owned by Paola .This one a little more intimate great atmosphere. Paolo works both his restaurants well makes his guests feel very welcome. Excellent food

One of the BEST experiences I have ever had at a restaurant! Many of us ordered the Portuguese Swordfish (which was wonderful), and since none of us had ever seen one before, the chef showed us what the fish looked like before he cut it! We were also all treated to a wonderful show of Fado music, which was some of the best I have ever heard.
Whenever I return to Lisbon, I will 100% be returning here!

This restaurant is a hidden gem and im so glad to have discovered it in Lisbon! The seafood was the best i have had in portugal and the staff were super welcoming and friendly! I recommend getting the swordfish. It was very buttery and flavorful. They even brought out the swordfish so i got to see what it looked like before seeing it on my plate. The fish was massive !! Also we got to listen to a private Fado show– best dinner and entertainment in my trip! I would go back in a heartbeat :)

Fantastic and friendly staff. The food and wine was sublime. Every 40 mins or so they had 3 extremely talented musicians playing Fado music (they also played 'yellow submarine' on the Portuguese guitar). Relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely go again.

On our family's last night in Lisbon we couldn't have asked for a better dining experience! The live Fado music was a wonderful suprise and the food was delicious. They had very friendly service as well; we really enjoyed talking with the owner. I have nothing but good things to say about O Chefe e o Mar!

Best Portugal food restaurant I have ever had, providing very fresh and delicious sea food plate. Obviously the owner of the restaurant has a very good taste, and the most unexpected part is they has three fantastic musicians singing Fado in dinner time. Their music is beautiful and powerful. The atmosphere cannot be better and thank you for a beautiful night!

The food was very good quality. The customer service was top of the line. The cleanliness of the restaurant was very good. The experience was amazing and would come back again. The dessert was a slice of cheesecake and that was just perfection. I ordered the fish ceviche and the oysters. Both were very good.

I went to this restaurant for dinner with my son and my good friend Mario, on our travels to lisbon, the food is delicious, 10 out of 10, we had fresh cod it was cooked to perfection, highly recommended

В некотором отдалении от туристических троп нашли очень не плохой рыбный ресторан. Официант Ольга помогла с выбором вина и рассказала о меню. Заказали сибас- безупречный, самое большое и дорогое блюдо, гриль( на двоих нормально)-90евр, хороши десерты. Ресторан не большой но уютный.

Bem não sei por onde começar.... Mas este espaço é simplesmente uma brutalidade desde a comida literalmente de outro mundo... Ao serviço em 1000 línguas à apresentação dos servidores não sei mais o que dizer
Em 2 semanas de férias a jantar e almoçar em vários restaurantes deparo me com esta pérola escondida fenómeno de restaurante...
Não sei como alguém pode falar mal deste sítio

It’s ok. The reviews were raving but probably they couldn’t find equality good food in other places. The service isn’t great and the food is ok. I would say it’s not worth the walk. If you stumble on it and you want to pay a lot of money then this is your place

Tres bon restaurant, situation en dehors des passages touristes et on comprend tout de suite a l arrivée des plats, tres soignés , service impeccable, bien que nous sommes arrivé tard 22h, ce resto est un des meilleurs à Lisbonne et rapport qualité prix excellent

I went with my boyfriend during our short holiday in Lisbon. It was really busy. Please reserve beffoe you go. Good is amazing. We ordered sushi and at first they forgot to remove the cheese from the salmon roll (I'm allergic to lactus). The owner immediately did a new roll for me!!!!
I will definitely come back again.
