Mi rincón favorito de Lisboa, el bacalao y el atún increíbles, un sitio ideal para compartir con la gente que quieres. Además el trato es inmejorable, su dueña hace que volver a este sitio sea lo mas parecido a estar en casa.

Tínhamos marcação para 12 pessoas, chegamos 20 min antes do tempo. Após esperarmos 30 minutos e a mesa ainda não estar disponível (outros clientes ainda a jantar) avisamos que iríamos dar uma pequena volta enquanto esperávamos que a mesa estivesse livre. Voltamos 10min depois e a nossa mesa tinha sido dada a turistas.. Serviço deplorável

Resto typique portugais, très familial. La petite dame qui nous a servi était très souriante et essayait de se faire comprendre tant bien que mal en portugais.
Nous avons pris de la viande qui était très bonne et bien servie avec du riz et des frites. De plus les prix sont plus que corrects, je crois que nous en avons eu pour moins de 45€ à 2 avec 2 plats, 2 desserts et une bouteille de vin + une assiette de fromage et jambon avec du pain en apéro

Découvert en octobre 2018 grâce à notre guide Eliott, ce petit restaurant familiale vous transportera dans une ambiance de cantine, les parts y sont généreuses et très gouteuses. La cuisine typique du portugal trouve ici toute son essence. Les locaux viennent y faire leur pause déjeuner, réserver est une chose à faire pour être certain de goûter les plats.

Ótimo restaurante, tipicamente português, de família onde os donos atendem às mesas, cozinham... não são os mais simpáticos com quem não conhecem, é verdade, mas depois que conhecem são muitos queridos, minha filha de 5 anos adora. A comida é ótima, bem servida e muito saborosa, o peixe é delicioso, sobremesas igualmente deliciosas.
Nada caro, relação qualidade/preço ótima.
Sempre cheio, principalmente no final de semana, convém chegar cedo ou reservar antes.

Le pire restaurant portugais en 10 jours de voyage. Surprenant car il nous avait été recommandé par 2 personnes. La morue mélangé à l'omelette était pratiquement immangeable, et la sole sans aucune saveur. Comparé au frade dos mares d'hier, il n'y a pas photo.

Typical Portuguese “Tasca” with regular food but good for groups. The lady owner she’s a little bit “harsh” but the rest of the staff are very friendly (probably it’s because it’s always packed). You need a reservation but you pay good price for food - starter, main, drinks, dessert and coffee will be around 16-18€/person.

Pequeno e bastante frequentado, usualmente cheio e com alguma espera, este restaurante é inesperadamente bom e barato tornando-se um dos que mais me agradou em minha última visita a Lisboa.
Tocado por uma família, que se entrega de corpo e alma ao serviço de manter o ritmo e a qualidade do atendimento (com direito a pequenos desentendimentos no processo) o Toma Lá Dá Cá vale cada centavo de euro que você gastar nele.
Fica meio escondido, Google maps foi fundamental para encontrar, mas não deixe de conhecer. Recomendo de cara a sopa de peixe e amei a Alheira.

El servicio fue cordial con un pequeño hecho que nos hizo gracia. Fui con mi madre y esta comenzó a comentar que todo estaba muy bueno y el camarero sin hacer caso solo decía, postre, café? Postre, café? Y a la tercera vez mi madre dejo de hablar...

Traditionelles, familiengeführtes portugiesisches Restaurant, versteckt in einer kleinen Gasse. Es hat nur wenige Stunden am Tag geöffnet, aber der Besuch lohnt sich - auch wenn man wahrscheinlich erst mal auf einen freien Tisch warten muss. Die Zeit bis dahin verbringt man mit einem Glas Bier oder Wein in der Hand vor der Tür und kommt ins Gespräch mit anderen Wartenden - meistens Einheimischen, aber der Touristanteil steigt. Die Speisekarte setzt auf Qualität statt Quantität.

Absolutely delicious. Have no clue what we ate (since their was a language barrier) but we asked for one order of their best fish and best meat dish and both were fantastic. It is run by a brother/sister team who are rough around the edges, but it is a great local experience with very fair prices. Be prepared to wait a long time, or go after 10pm.

Le rapport qualité prix est bon, mais pas meilleur que beaucoup d autres restaurants dans le quartier.
Ce qui gâche sérieusement l ambiance c est qu on vous pousse quasiment dehors si d autres clients potentiels attendent à la porte.
Certes un touriste de passage n a pas vocation à revenir, mais de là à tout expédier il y a des limites !!!!

Traditional family-run Portuguese restaurant tucked away in a little alleyway. Not many seats and very popular so expect to wait a little at peak time, but drinking on the cobblestones while waiting is invited! As for the food itself, we had grilled sea bream and sea bass (pictured) - simple but very tasty. Dessert was a homemade cheesecake and it really blew us away. Would return for the cheesecake alone!

Un restaurante 100% local absolutamente recomendable. Nada que ver con otros lugares masificados de Lisboa: acogedor, ambiente íntimo, muy buena atención y gran relación calidad-precio. Especial mención merece la carne con salsa de queso y postres como la tarta de chocolate o la baba de camelo. Justo al lado está la galería de arte ‘By Jo Seixas’, de Joana y Pavel, la pareja que nos recomendó el restaurante a la que también es muy recomendable visitar por su calidad artística y sobre todo por su amabilidad desmedida.

Un bar restaurante donde va gente local a comer. El sitio es pequeño, comes casi codo con codo con el comensal de al lado, como en tantos otros locales de Portugal. Muy auténtico. Todo estaba buenísimo. Grandes platos y buenas guarniciones de verdura cocida. Precio medio—cantidad—calidad muy bueno. El mejor sitio que probé en la ciudad.

Restaurante típico portugués, no tienen una carta muy extensa pero lo que hacen lo hacen bien. No tuvimos que esperar ni un minuto para sentarnos, llegamos a las 14:30 y no había cola.
Sensación de ser todo muy casero y en un entorno muy auténtico.
Por menos de 30€ comimos dos personas.

The place is totally crowded and very loud, allowing a conversation only close to shouting. We came in with a party of 15 and were disappointed to notice the chef had given away our fixed reservation for being late three minutes. This meant waiting for 45 minutes on the outside. Positive was that beverages were served to there. After that, we were jammed into the place. The starters were perfect. The cutlets were good but the tuna was fishy, which is not good at all. Deserts were prefabricated and it homemade.
There is an English menue, but the translation needs some attention to be understandable.
The toilet is very tiny, located very close to the kitchen (remember, the place is very small) and does not have a window (at least the boys room). The installation itself is due for a renovation.
All in all, I cannot follow the recommendation of others.

This is a true gem if a restaurant in the heart of Lisbon. It's family run, and they provide home grown veggies and Bagaço (if you're lucky!). The cheesecake is made from homemade cheese from their farm, and the caramel mousse is soooooooo good! It's a popular spot, so there can be a wait...just grab a glass of vinh branco and hang out in the picturesque cobblestone streets while you wait...

Had been in Toma La Da Ca twice, the first experience was fine but the second time was rather unpleasant, we had to sit next to lousy high tourists and baked house was just boiled octopus served with boiled veg! Not great the place is increasingly becoming an occasional place for the tourists just beware of the long queue!

Nous avons goûté l'onglet à l'échalote et la daurade grillée accompagnés de légumes cuits à la vapeur ! Un régal pour des prix abordables et des quantités très généreuses ! On recommande vivement. Comme dans pas mal de restaurants les petites croquettes proposées en début de service sont facturées mais allez-y les yeux fermés et avant 20h pour éviter la foule dans ce lieu très prisé et simple.

Essen war super lecker. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Empfehle jeden dort mal vorbei zu schauen. Für den großen Hunger und den kleinen Hunger. Von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert. Für jeden ist hier was dabei.

Do not miss this place. It might look very basic, but the food is fresh and incredibly tasty and the prices are very reasonable.

Avis global mitigé... nourriture délicieuse mais accueil et professionnalisme déplorables... dont voici un florilège :
- commande d'un onglet à l'échalote que l'on demande logiquement bien cuit car femme enceinte... et on nous sert du porc en sauce. Remarque faîte à la serveuse qui se renseigne auprès du chef, elle revient nous dire, sûre d'elle et en haussant les épaules, c'est bien le bon plat car le chef ne cuisine jamais un onglet... bien cuit ; donc, on vous change le plat unilatéralement sans vous en prévenir... Après avoir cru à une caméra cachée, la situation est hélas bien lunaire !
- commande de morceaux tranchés d'ananas mais la serveuse nous dit d'accord... mais je vous conseille du melon... On rappelle donc que c'est de l'ananas qu'on veut... vu le rictus de la serveuse, autant l'enlever de la carte si vous avez la flemme de le couper...
- l'addition culmine à 71 Euros pour 4, avant de la faire redescendre à 63 Euros après vérification (vu que j'avais observé précédemment deux clients "ausculter" leurs factures...) car 3 bouteilles avaient été facturées en trop, tout comme une assiette de charcuterie non commandée... Aucune contestation du personnel sur notre remarque mais aucune excuse en retour non plus...
En conclusion, nourriture qualitative et bien cuisinée, très bon rapport qualité prix également. Par contre, une formation en sourire et accueil du client est sincèrement conseillée !

Had a lovely meal. Very reasonable prices. We had excellent steak and beef scallops with mushrooms. Shrimp starter was amazing, with so much garlic. Beautiful part of the city. Get an uber because the hills are so steep to walk up. Beautiful view points in the area.

We had the special of the day, a lightly battered white fish (similar to the 'robalo') which was perfectly cooked but a bit too salty and the grilled 'dourada'. We came here right at 12pm when it opened and seemed to beat the lunchtime rush. You might walk right by this place if you don't know the specific address!

Awesome local food experience, we had grilled sea bream and pork chops, both are great. Also interesting to see how graceful the locals manage the finished up a whole fish, while ours is a complete crime scene when we were done. Desserts are humble and enjoyable too! Would visit again, and totally recommend to tourist who would like to experience local Portuguese dishes!

Bon restaurant mais attention. Nous avons pris le plat du jour typique portugais de Lisbonne c'est à dire Bacalhau à Bras. C'est de la morue soi disant dessalee préparée avec des patates coupées très fines et des oeufs ce qui nous a vraiment surpris car à bras ne veut pas dire braisé ni grillé. C'est juste de nom d'un tavernier du quartier qui a donné son nom à la recette. La morue etait trop salee a notre gout et melangee a l'oeuf c'est surprenant. par contre les vins rouges portugais sont excellents et pas trop chers . profitez de prendre une bonne bouteille. Réservation conseillée.

I would love to say it's terrible and don't go. But the fact is that it's completely the opposite. One of the best price quality restaurants you'll find in Lisbon. Great food. Amazing selection of deserts. Patience is needed because you will wait for your table. But it's worth it.

Restaurante para visitar com os amigos, mais indicado para grupos não muito grandes. Os pratos são essencialmente de cozinha portuguesa, bastante bem confeccionados e deliciosos. O preço médio ronda os 20€ por pessoa. Vale a pena provarem o cheesecake!

Good solid Portuguese food close to Largo de Camoes.
Always fresh grilled fish. Have been hee few times and never disappointed.
Place is always fool and don't accept reservations.
But a little wait and you are in!
Last time I had Robalo with veg and it was good as usual!
Price are also quite good, especially for this area of the city.

Good food served at a too fast pace. You will not be disappointed for the little money you have to pay, but don't expect too not feel stressed because the next customer is waiting at the door to get your table. However you will be satisfied except for the desert.

One of the best in town to eat Portuguese Food. The space is quite small, and you can’t make reservation, so be ready to drink a beer outside during the wait. You can eat a good beef for 10euros.

Delicious traditional food that will for sure fill you up. Wonderful lively atmosphere. We walked in after being given directions from our airbnb host. It wasn't easy to find but it was worth it. Homey meals, good beer and, Really friendly staff. We just asked the waitress what was good and ended up with some amazing dishes. Seen here: the skewered turkey. Like others said though, get here early enough.

A small restaurant, mainly visited by locals. They somehow managed to sit our group of 11 people at one large table. The selection was good, everybody find something to like. We split the bill and paid~16€ each for a large dish, desert and a few shared bottles of wine.

Grilled fish, salad, vegetables and rice... It was a very comforting and enjojable sharing meal. Wine is cheap (€6 per bottle) and the vegetables and tomato rice are complimentary.

Excellent restaurant à proximité du Bairro Alto et du Chiado. Ce restaurant offre un choix important de viandes d'une race originaire du nord du Portugal (maronesa). Ne vous attendez néanmoins pas à avoir des sauces, ici c'est la viande que l'on met en vedette et donc elle est cuite simplement mais très bien. À noter que les frites sont maison et délicieuses.

Place is expensive considering the quality of the food. I've asked for a grilled tuna and it was too too salty. Moreover they dont speak any English, and the girl was trying to sell us more wine, insisting too much.

Nourriture typiquement portugaise, où nous avons vraiment bien mangé ( poisson grillé excellent). Malheureusement un repas gâché par un service déplorable. Concrètement tout le monde fait la tronche dans ce restaurant. Chaque question semble ennuyer le personnel. ICI le premier qui sourit a perdu!

Food was definitely 5 star. Don't let the hospitality put you off your food. The waitress was uninterested to say the least. However, when asked what she recommended, the choice she gave was incredible.

Nice authentic place with quite low-cost menus. The food was very good and you get a good bottle of the house wine for a fair price. Other people here have written that this place was famos with the locals- we did not really have this impression as there were only tourists. The only real problem was the staff- they don't speak a single word of English, are REALLY unfriendly (they come and slap your food on the table without saying anything) and our impression was that the food from the (improvised) English menu costs slightly more than the food from the Portugese menu...

Restau typiquement portugais, avec un choix intéressant de poissons et de viandes. On est sur de la cuisine roborative et généreuse, qui n'a pas manqué de nous séduire malgré un service très inégal (vérifiez votre addition, la nôtre était surchargée). Les apéritifs et pain déposés sur la table à votre arrivée sont payants (5€). Comptez moins de 20€ pp avec le vin.
Beaucoup de locaux, arrivez avant 20h.

Loud place. Narrow tables. Very, very simply prepared food (which doesn't necessarily mean bad, but in this case, that's what it means, unfortunately for me). Fries soaked in oil, beef and fish (we ordered the tuna) very thin and way, way over cooked. Food for locals lacking good taste. Better go to another 'food for locals' kinda restaurant.

BEWARE!! ALERT!! The food is okay BUT watch out! DISCRIMINATION! Wait staff tries to charge more than listed price on menu. Unless you are a local or frequent customer, you can be mistreated, overcharged or treated with disrespect. We arrived early (well before the restaurant was busy or crowded -only 3 other couples seated). We ordered without delay & chose the more expensive grilled fish available that day. About 20 minutes after making our selection, we noticed that a party of five people wandered in off the street & found themselves a table, and then 4 more couples entered around 15 minutes afterwards...all of which received their food & were eating before us. Grilled fish (our order) cooks quickly & is easy enough to prepare. We asked the waitress about the delay & she reacted with irritation -but no explanation or reason why. Finally she brought my wife & me our meals (nearly an hour after we had ordered it). We are experienced travelers (five continents) of modest means but we recognize clear-cut discrimination. The bill came with prices that didn't match the menu (2 euros more than dish listed). Again, no explanation, no rationale -only frowns because we caught them overcharging.
STAY AWAY !! Plenty of other good restaurants in the area who don't discriminate.

A real Portugese restaurant. Don't expect anything fancy. But if you like to dive into the local (food) culture this place is highly recommended!
