It’s definitely a top view but the food and service were a bit underwhelming. My steak was a medium though I was recommended medium rare and I accepted. Tables too small and too close together.

Véritable cantine avec une vue panoramique sur le Tage (en prenant la peine de réserver ). Déjeuner de produits frais : mention spéciale au barbecue car notre hamburger maison était divin. Bon rapport qualité prix et un service souriant et soucieux de ses clients. Après une bonne balade au château Saint-Georges, c'est sur la redescente vers la Place du Commerce. Un emplacement idéal.

Best restaurant in Lisbon by a mile. Food in incredible and location is unreal. Overseeing the city with a panoramic view! Book the restaurant as the brasserie is less amazing food-wise. But brasserie is good if you want a low key meal! They put on a show as this is circus vibes :) i have been 3 times already and cannot recommend enough!!!!

Food is definitely overpriced, considering the size of the portion. (mains are about 18 euro on average) and the general simple atmosphere of the place. Not all tables have access to the view that is advertised. The only plus is the alternative decoration and friendly ambience of the restaurant.

Phenomenal food, and amazing service. Definitely try one of the black pig appetizers made in local style. The pitcher of sangria was delicious. Top notch service and we had an amazing view luckily. To ensure you get a great view try to make a reservation, we showed up without one and were lucky but most of the seating is away from the view.
Top notch service and absolutely worth it. Extremely reasonably priced with entrees from 10-18 euros and appetizers from 9-14 euros. Well worth it, cannot say it enough

Stumbled upon this place accessed through a gift shop. Looked like they may have a great view. No lunch reservation but offered a table within 15 minutes. Excellent food and 5+ star views. Great service. The squid was amazing.

Awesome atmosphere, awesome views, awesome food, awesome staff! We got in on the top floor with the view without a reservation (which is sort of a separate restaurant that you're supposed to make reservations for), I guess because we went late on a Wednesday.

La vue est magnifique, pour les plats c’est autre chose, ils sont chers et la qualité laisse à désirer.. Certains serveurs sont accueillants tandis que d’autres se tournent les pouces.. dommage. Si vous comptez y aller pour la vue, allez-y dès l’ouverture sinon bonne chance !

Vue et cadre tres sympa. Service egalement.
Par contre nous avons ete tres decus par les plats selectionnés. Chers et la qualité n etait pas au rendez vous.: saucisse de porc noir, le burger et un autre plat dont j ai oublié le nom (1 tranche de viande entre 2 morceau de pain a 10e)
Bref il y a bcp mieux et moins cher.

Great spot for dinner overlooking the Lisbon vistas. Reservations were easy to make, and the location easy to locate. Food was delicious and of course the local wines were exceptionally. And I don't normally drink wine! During our meal a thunderstorm happened and I couldn't have felt more cost tucked in our corner with a belly full of warm food, wine flowing all night and the occasional lightning to illuminate the candlelit interior. Don't miss out on your visit to Lisbon!

The view is basically the same as the Castle. You pay EUR10 to get in the Castle (actually is a garden). Why not just go to the restaurant. Burger is EUR11, which is very tasty.

Tienes que hacer una fila para entrar. Aunque tengan mesas vacías, los camareros tardan muchísimo en ubicarte en alguna mesa. La atención es con mucha “dejadez”. Estuvimos sentadas 40 min y no se acercaban a preguntarnos qué queríamos beber. Creo que necesitan mucha más gente. La comida tampoco es algo del otro mundo.

Me pedí costillas y solo venían tres, con una especie de mermelada de manzana y tiras de habas, muy caro, como 17 euros y por un sandwich mixto 7€, lo único las vistas al tajo y a lo lejos el puente 25 de abril iluminado, y la originalidad del sitio que es una escuela de circo.

Un posto da non perdere se passate da Lisbona!
Ristorante con vista nel centro storico della città, vista mozzafiato, cibo tipico di qualità altissima!
Già pane e coperto arricchiti da olio DOP, noi abbiamo preso sia carne che pesce, tutto di altissima qualità, branzino superlativo e menzione particolare per il baccalà mantecato più buono che io abbia mai mangiato.
Ottimi anche i dolci.
Piatti principali intorno ai 20 euro, ma li valgono tutti.
Non mancate di visitarlo!

Sitio fantastico con ambiente y vistas preciosas para tomar una copa. Eso si, la comida decepcionante: poca variedad y muy aceitosa. Un plato de bacalao con un acompañamiento casi imperceptible 18 eur, el mismo precio que una carne un poco dura con unas tristes patatas cocidas con bacon grasoso. El personal muy agradable.

Lovely view. However, not bad but very average for the price. Ordered a salad and soup as it was overpriced. Mackerel salad very average, very tight on the main ingredients.. mackerel and anchovies and seemed like it had only one potato and egg sliced up. Service a bit chaotic too.

The squid was very good. We ordered a pork sausage as well which was raw on the inside and had to be taken back to the barbecue, I would avoid the sausage and stick to the seafood. Staff was very friendly and service was quick.

Sitio maravilloso por su ambiente, decoración y vistas.
Merece la pena cuando hay mas gente (casi siempre) por el bullicio que se genera. Decoración circense que con el buen tiempo da la sensación de feria. Vistas a toda Lisboa.
La comida destaca sobre todo por las ensaladas y las bolinhas de bacalao, que personalmente son espectaculares.
Como otros comentarios, quizá el fallo es la gestión de las mesas, reservas y cola de espera, pero creo que 15-20' de espera merecen la pena.

The steak medallions were the best dish and fresh fish of the day was pretty good, the side vegetables were too fishy, the shrimp salad was over priced with only four pieces of shrimp and barely any avocado, and the hamburger was just not good at all.
The hamburger was the worst thing on the menu, over cooked dry meat with no toppings.
Popular because of the view but if you don’t get one of the few tables with a view, it makes no difference. Overpriced and overrated.

Higlights: view, staff, coffee, gaspacho, ambiente, sphere, view ... wait. I mentioned that already. Well, it is so great it deserves to be mentioned twice :-) There is "closing" hour between 18:00 and 19:00, but they let you to finish anything you have without any pressure. We left at 18:20 and felt welcomed to stay still.

Busy place so make sure to book a table to be sure to get a table. Service was good but our food was pretty mediocre. I ordered the veal with portobello mushroom and the whole dish was flavourless and swimming in oil, not worth the €18 it cost. My sisters shrimp salad was OK but nothing impressive. Nice view though (from the stairs or the bar building) and the bar part looks nice.

Imposible dé sentarnos, ya media hora de espera en la puerta, tuvimos que preguntarle a la persona encargada si tardaríamos mucho en sentarnos y nos zampó que una hora para sentarnos y otra hora para comer, nos fuimos evidentemente pero nos quedamos sin saber si se come bien o mal, recomendación por mí parte, coged el 737 para subir al Castelo San Jorge y evitaros una subida demencial, y preguntad nada más llegar si podéis sentaros y cuánto tardaríais os ahorrareis un disgusto

Delusione.
Attratto dalle lusinghiere e quantitativamente positive recensioni sulla cucina, ma anche dalla location romantica, ho deciso di visitare il locale per cena. Devo ammettere che la location è molto intima, romantica e accogliente e vanta una meravigliosa terrazza dalla quale si può osservare uno splendido panorama sul fiume Tago, sul cristo Re e sul ponte 25 Aprile. La cucina purtroppo è la nota dolente. Ho preso un antipasto di scampi e un piatto di calamari alla griglia con patate dolci cucinate al forno, un piccolo assaggio dì bacalhau al forno. Unico piatto che ha soddisfatto le aspettative è stato quello con gli scampi, gli altri un autentico disastro che affogava nel condimento, con parti bruciate.
Il servizio piuttosto lento e distratto ma cortese. Il conto piuttosto salato ! Con un rapporto qualità prezzo elevato e non giustificato. Voto 2,5/5

Went there to have a coffee and a dessert and enjoy the view because I had heard so many good things about it. Waitress: You can only have a table with a view if you order a full lunch. Me: Uh, it's 3.30 pm so there won't be loads of people coming in to have lunch within the next 15 minutes, and half the tables with a view are empty? Waitress: I don't care, if you don't order a full meal, you have to sit inside.

Food was incredible and the view even better. The cod tart and the fish with sweet potatoes were highlights. The cinnamon cake for dessert too. Staff were EXCELLENT, extremely well trained. Questo è un luogo molto carino e simpatico nella "Lisbona Vecchia": posto alle pendici del "Castelo", si entra tramite un negozio di souvenir (dovrebbe essere una cooperativa locale a gestire il tutto), scendendo si trova una bellissima terrazza con vista su Lisbona, molto carina per mangiare o gustare un bicchiere di vino. Ci sono stato diverse volte e ci torno sempre con piacere.

Poder menjar o prendre alguna cosa amb aquelles vistes a la ciutat és realment agradable. El menjar, en el nostre cas, no va ser gran cosa. Vam menjar una excel·lent amanida de verat marinat i unes peles de patata fregides molt bones, amb quètxup casolà molt saborós. En canvi, la polenta era seca i dura. Tampoc la vam encertar amb el gaspatxo. Tot i així, val la pena fer-hi un visita, seure de cara a Lisboa i deixar-vos recomanar pels cambrers.

Chegados para beber café, informámos que queríamos mesa para 3 pessoas. Quem atendeu pediu que aguardasse para indagar se havia mesas disponíveis (a sala estava vazia!!!). Esperámos 10 minutos à entrada da sala enquanto quem nos atendeu estava confortavelmente sentada ao computador, à nossa frente, sem nunca dar resposta!
Se é assim que querem cativar clientes...

Não sabendo distinguir o espaço de cliente e funcionário.
O atendimento foi muito mau, não penso em lá voltar ou sugerir o sítio a mais amigos pelo menos se for a mesma pessoa a atender às mesas ou não melhorar o nível de atendimento.
Temos que ter noção que quando estamos a atender ( eu também faço atendimento ao público) somos a cara da empresa e não podemos simplesmente sair a atacar as pessoas por absolutamente nada.

Besuch ist sehr empfehlenswert. Wir waren hier auf Empfehlung von meiner Freundin, sie hier in Lissabon lebt. Die Portionen sehen klein aus, doch glaubst mir. Pedimos de entrante carpaccio de pulpo. Consistía en unas bolitas de patata y unas pocas rodajas de pulpo finísimas, calculo que medio milímetro. Como si la hubieran cortado con cuchilla de afeitar. 14 euros. De segundo calamares que venían con spaghetti y bacalao, como un pastel. Cada plato 20 euros. Esto bien aunque tampoco para tirar cohetes. El ambiente acogedor, vistas a la ciudad, aunque nos pusieron en mesa con vista a la vitrina.

Its the second time coming back to this restaurant because we had such a lovely time there the first time.
And again, the place and the food was great. But this time the service lacked. The waiter was grumpy and didn't give us a food menu. So when we asked for the food menu he mumbled something like he was surprised that we wanted a menu. We were there at 7:30 for dinner. He removed plates and half eaten dishes while we were still busy eating. Didn't offer us any drinks after our aperitif was finished.
We had to wait a looooong time for the bill and then another loooooong time for the credit card machine. Just not what you want to deal with when you go out for a semi expensive meal.

O chapitô tem um conceito todo diferente que eu gostei! Fomos pela indicação de uma prima muito querida que é portuguesa e conhece tudo por lá! Lógico que não erramos em aceitar a dica para almoçar! A comida é realmente boa, mas é o conjunto da obra que faz a diferença! Tomar um bom vinho rosé diante daquela vista da janela é sensacional, eita saudades de Lisboa! En entrée : un accueil déplorable, il nous aura fallu dire bonjour en trois langues différentes et ce à 5 reprises avant de recevoir une réponse équivalente.
En plat : des serveurs totalement perdus ne sachant pas prendre une commande.
Après trois serveurs différents nos plats arrivent et non sans surprise une erreur sur l un d’entre eux est commise.
Enfin en dessert : la semble t il patronne essaye de nous convaincre que notre plat est le bon et finira par raler contre nous après avoir accepté son erreur.
Nous avons donc bel et bien de la assisté à un bien mauvais numéro dans ce chapito.

La comida correcta. La caipirinha salvadora con el calor que hacía. Lo mejor son las vistas. Pero ten en cuenta de que si subes a tomarte algo y disfrutar de las vistas, los mejores puestos están reservados para almorzar y cenar. Muy amable una señora del personal que me dejó crema porque me había quemado. Me pareció un gesto muy atento por su parte.

Dieser Ort hat sehr viele widersprüchliche Bewertungen. Ich schätze das liegt auch daran, dass es hier 3 Restaurants mit gleichem Namen aber verschiedenen Preiskategorien gibt. Chapitô à Mesa ist die "teuerste" Variante, die Preise sind aber trotzdem moderat. Bei uns war das Essen sehr gut, der Service etwas langsam aber sehr freundlich und die Aussicht über Lissabon natürlich genial. Als Highlight kommt der restsuranteigene Zauberer an den Tisch und führt (ohne dafür Geld sehen zu wollen) ein paar Kartentricks vor. Wirklich ein sehr netter Abend!

La zona panorámica (es una zona cerrada con ventanas grandes que se ve en las fotos) y la zona de abajo tienen menús y precios distintos, y cuando reservas estás reservando en la panorámica. Nosotros comimos en la zona panorámica, preciosas vistas y muy buena atención de los camareros. La comida estaba muy buena también . Comimos dos adultos con vino por unos 30€ cada uno.

Agradable y fresco para almorzar. Recomiendo ir sobre las 13:00-13:30 ya que a partir de dicha hora comienza la afluencia de personas para comer. Precios correctos con ración considerable. Con un par de platos para compartir de sobra para dos adultos. Nosotros los platos de la foto para compartir, un par de cervezas y café fueron unos 32 euros entre 2. Si se llega pronto puedes sentarte en las mesas con vistas al río Tajo.

Wir wohnten um die Ecke, wollten ein nettes Abendessen am letzten Tag. Wir erhofften uns einen Ausblick über die Stadt, erwischten aber keinen der zehn Panorama-Plätze. Die Terasse war auch okay, das Essen - wir bestellten Codfisch, Sausage, Burger, Squid - erreichte nicht einmal Kantinen-Niveau. Alles versalzen, wahlweise zerkocht oder knapp über roh. Geschmacklich war nichts akzeptabel und erinnerte an unsere ersten Koch-Versuche im Alter von 15.
Lustig: Unsere Beschwerde wurde mit dem Argument gekontert, dass Chapito-Essen "different" ist. Ok! Wir haben 80 Euro bezahlt und sind 50 Meter weiter zum Profi gegangen: dort gab's keine Aussicht, aber genießbares Essen.

Très bon restaurant où tout est fait maison ! Nous n'avons pas réservé et sommes venu à 15 personnes. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et placé rapidement. Les enfants ont été ravis par les desserts. Je recommande pour le goût et la vue

Le lieu est tout simplement très beau. La vue sur Lisbonne remarquable. Les plats sont un peu chers mais très bien cuisinés. Attention : pour y accéder il faut descendre, et monter.., une partie un peu raide. Très bon accueil. La terrasse est ombragée. Une magnifique étape.

Went for lunch and the panoramic terrace has amazing views. Staff were kind and helpful. Food was good but it didn't blow my mind. The boar sausage was tough and difficult to cut/chew. Salads, on the other hand, are large and very tasty. A laid back outdoor space to beat the heat and have some snacks.

Lieu magique qui fait rêver !!! Enfin un lieu authentique à la décoration féerique. La vue est remarcable. Le lieu éclectique entre bar, restaurant, bibliothèque, spectacle de cirque contemporain et bar ambiance. Je recommande vivement !!!

This location became immediately one of the best in my opinion. Had on my "where-to-go-list" for a long time and that one day in my vacation I make it happen. And believe me - there's no regret.
Nice view, nice ambient, nice crew and first of all really delicious food. I tried out the salad with grilled goat cheese and the dessert they are named "chococircus" and both of it been really enjoyable treats. My recommendation: give it shot when you're on your way up to the castle. Or even when you come down from there ...

Hier bezahlt man nur die Aussicht. Die Auswahl der Gerichte ist bescheiden, wir haben mit einer großen Gruppe jedes Gericht für maximal Mittelmaß befunden. Die saftigen Preise stehen in meinem Verhältnis zu dem fettigen Essen.

Le midi, la vue vaut probablement la peine, nous avons eu un coup de coeur pour l’endroit et nous y sommes revenu le soir. Erreur. Service moyen et nourriture bonne, sans plus. Vraiment trop cher comparativement au reste du Portugal et même Lisbonne.
Bref, sans la vue du jour et un beau soleil, passez votre tour.

Le cadre est sympa mais la cuisine est à revoir. Ma femme a pris un burger, le pain était mauvais. Pour ma part j'ai pris du boeuf avec pommes de terre enroulées de bacon, c'était pas bon. Bref, nous n'avons pas fini nos assiettes...

Location molto carina e caratteristico anche l'ingresso. Terrazza panoramica su Lisbona con vista davvero bella. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile ma un po' lenti. Abbiamo preso due insalatone 1 acqua minerale una coca una salsiccia alla brace( non molto buona in tutta onesta, dura e grasso a) e un dolce al cioccolato e caramello buonissimo. Totale 41,30€
Consigliato, a detta di molti il baccalà ma non sono riuscito a provarlo...la prossima volta non mancherà.

The worst places I have visited, for the whole trip to Portugal! Сначала я заказал колбасу, официант сказал мне что она домашняя, сделана поварами на кухне. но так как я сам являюсь шеф-поваром и обмануть меня крайне сложно, при подаче этой колбасы, я сразу понял что она куплена в магазине. простая купленная колбаса, обжаренная на гриле! более того: она очень солёная, я абсолютно не жевалась Я позвал официанта, объяснил ему, он пригласил своего босса, я объяснил ему, тот сказал что без проблем заменят мне на другое блюдо. Я попросил португальский бургер, но босс мне настоятельно порекомендовал другое блюдо, сказав что она вообще фантастический вкусная! Я заказал это блюдо, его довольно быстро принесли, Она красиво выглядела, но, во-первых, она была вообще не вкусная! Как абсолютно без всяких специй, а во-вторых: два куска мяса я смог разжевать, а третий кусок был отвратительный! Он был с жилами, с кусками жира, которые абсолютно нельзя было съесть! Я считаю, что если ты платишь деньги за блюдо, то ты должен суметь съесть его целиком! Если это, конечно, не рулька, и не рёбра, где присутствует кости. более того, ты должен получить удовольствие от блюда! А не вот это вот мерзость, которую мне подарили! счёт был очень большой, что меня расстроила ещё больше! виды из ресторана красивые, не спорю. Но красивые виды можно посмотреть и в других местах, причем бесплатно!

The indoor of this restaurant (there is outdoor seating too) has a beautiful view of Lisbon and the water. The food is delicious and the service is great.

Waited for 20 minutes without having ANY attention from the guy at the entrance, cause of course he was too concentrated on a group of 6 people to get them a table. I have been always in warm and cosy restaurants here in Lisbon but this place really was a disaster. Be more Portuguese with all your guests cause you behaved really money-focused people

Magnifique restaurant au pied du château. La vue est à coupée le souffle et la cuisine est fine et copieuse. Le personnel est quant à lui très serviable et agréable. Il vaut mieux réserver pour avoir une table à l'étage, Merci !

Atendimento péssimo, sempre a falarem-nos em inglês como se de turistas nos tratassemos. Os empregados são paquistaneses a dormir em pé. A comida média, feita para turistas e em pouca quantidade. Não volto. Horrível. O único pro, é a localização e a vista.

La vue est magnifique parait-il mais dommage pour nous, il faisait dégueulasse, pluie/ciel gris/brouillard.
Les plats sont un peu cher (c'est le resto le plus cher que nous ayons fait à Lisbonne et le moins bon aussi au niveau de la nourriture). Serveur pas très souriant. Il se peut qu'il y ait des jours sans, ça devait être un de ceux là. (juin 2019)

¿Que decir del lugar? Increíble, las mejores vistas de todo Lisboa, como bien dice el cartel de la entrada, la séptima mejor terraza del mundo y no le falta razón, el personal muy atento, muy educado, la comida con los platos suficientes para que esté todo riquísimo, relación calidad precio, de 10

Stunning view from panoramic floor. Delicious food and quality is great for the price. Portion size is also very good, neither too much nor too less. Went there for anniversary dinner, wasn't disappointed. Has romantic ambience if you get a seat next to the window view.
