Yo soy mexicana y siempre me cuesta mucho trabajo encontrar lugares con buena comida mexicana en Europa pero este definitivamente es el mejor. Tienen las recetas, las salsas y las bebidas que tanto extrañaba, siempre está lleno y hay que esperar un poco pero vale la pena al 100%

Ci sono stato una volta a pranzo con degli amici messicani.
A loro dire é buono. Anche a me é piaciuto molto, ho optato per il menu 3 tacos as celta + succo di frutta a scelta.
L'ambiente é molto giovanile.
Da provare una volta.

We’re searching for authentic Mexican food, found authentic and much more. Very familiar and unique atmosphere. The staff are knowledgeable and super great. From the start, they bring out a basket of chips and 6 of their sauces from mild to hot. We were so drawn to a couple of the sauces that we ordered our tacos based on a couple of those selections. House margarita is fresh and delicious. We are used to large US portions, but ordered 5 plates (15 tacos) and left absolutely happy.

Très beau cadre, les serveurs sont très sympa ! Les tacos sont bon, et le guacamole fait maison est délicieux, attention quand même à ceux qui n’aime pas la coriandre il y en a unpeu partout.. le serveur m’a directement proposé de changer mon plat par un autre qui m’a été servi dans la minute, unpeu gras.. mais bon c’est une bonne adresse que je recommande :)

Whether you want a quick beer before dinner or if you want to go all in and have dinner there... You'll have a great time.
Some of the sauces are very spicy! (which I love).
one last advice: The drink "Mata gringos" is a true treat! You can't miss the experience. :)

멕시칸 맛집입니다. 굉장히 캐주얼하고 힙합니다. 종업원 친절하고 영어도 잘합니다. 메뉴 2개, 음료 2잔, 커피 2잔까지 셋트메뉴로 20유로입니다. 저는 브리또랑 양고기 타코 먹었는데 핵맛이네요. 퍼시피코 맥주도 시원하게 잘 먹고 갑니다. 아, 소스를 8종 이상 줘서 만들어먹는것도 재미입니다. 매운맛 그리운 분들은 꼭 와보세요~

La comida prácticamente no es mexicana. Hacen los nachos allí que son relativamente aceptables pero la comida no tiene nada que digas que es mexicano ni siquiera el sabor y creen que colocándole picante a todo lo están haciendo bien y para nada!
Yo pedí un Taco Al Pastor y sinceramente no tenía absolutamente nada de taco. El taco debería ser duro y esto parecía un burrito derretido. Y el "queso fundido" por favor... súper decepcionante.
Y a todo esto lo complementan los precios exorbitantes por cero calidad.
Lo único bueno que tienen es que te traen los nachos gratis y te los siguen llenando si quieres...

Went in with high expectations, left with expectations exceeded. Our server constantly paid attention to my needs without me even asking e.g. water, more nachos, napkins! The tacos were unlike any I've had in Canada. The flavours came from the meats and was supplemented by the sauces. It made for a tremendous dancing of flavours with my tastebuds

Really good. Love the six salsa mini cups you get with the meal. Tacos could be a little bigger. If you’re hungry it’s easy to down 2 meals...and that gets a little pricey

Best tacos we've had in a long time! We tried the Birria (slow cooked lamb), Cochinita Pibil (pork) and the Black bean vegetarian ones (these were the fav), also the sopes to start with which were equally delicious! Great how you get all the hot sauces to try and the waiter will talk you through them.

Great food, great service. Lots of varieties of tacos. We had braised beef and lamb, both really yum! You may need to wait outside for a table, they give you some chips to snack on and you can order a drink. Would definitely go back!

Situado en la calle Rua da Boavista donde cada año florecen nuevos restaurantes, Pistola y Corazón es una auténtica Taquería Mexicana con una carta variada de tacos, quesadillas y diferentes cócteles y micheladas. Recomiendo ir a primera hora porque por su éxito es un sitio muy concurrido y tienen pocas mesas. Apuntan tu nombre en una pizarra y puedes esperar fuera (te dan unos nachos para amenizar la espera).

Espaço descontraído onde partilha mesa corrida com outros clientes, normalmente turistas estrangeiros! Margaritas optimas, muita Corona para acalmar picantes que tem a escolha! Funcionarios simpaticos e que percebem da oferta do restaurante, explicam tudo. Muito bom, gosto muito.

Excelente mexicano. Tiene un concepto muy guay, se pide por menús preestablecidos de tacos, entrantes y bebida (zumos naturales del día). La atención fue excepcional. No hay reserva y hay que hacer algo de cola, pero te dan totopos con pico de gallo para la espera. Volveremos seguro!

Being from Arizona and hopping the fence to Sonora, Mexico all the time to eat Tacos, I was very skeptical of any Taco establishment in Europe BUT this place reminds me of home and those days. I would happily travel to Lisbon again just to eat the tacos! You better get there early! The flavours are well marinated and are delicious!

What should have been a tasty and easy takeaway lunch was anything but. Pistola Y Corazon has been our go to place, for tacos, for a few years. We've had mishaps in the past, but nothing that would make us want to stop patronizing them, until now.

Strike 1.
Their site was not up to date, so after our trip into Lisbon, just to grab tacos, we were greeted more or less with an "oops, we just changed out menu. We'll have to change our site." Call me crazy, but shouldn't that have been taken care of?
Great food is wonderful, but the business needs to follow suit.
So, the new lunch menu restricted us to a couple of set menu options. What did come with the lunch was their "house" drink.
Surely, if they are offering drinks for takeaway, they'll have proper takeaway cups for liquids, right?
Strike 2
We got home to find that they put our drinks in rusty topped, USED, bottles. No one asked us if we like our drinks WE'RE PAYING FOR in used bottles. Then to flip over the rusted cap, to see even more rust was positively inexcusable, and certainly a health violation. You can imagine, this disgustingly packaged drink was thrown out.
Strike 3
We get to our tacos, there were 8 in total, and not a SINGLE ONE was labeled. We got about 6 sauces, and not a SINGLE ONE was labeled. So, after burning our tongues, (my husband actually needed milk after tasting one) trying to figure out what sauce went with which tacos we were officially done.
I don't want to do detective work before I eat my tacos. Are the tacos tasty? Sure, but that means nothing when you're served rusty capped drinks, fire sauces, with not labels, and your site is not up to date. We loved them, but we're done.
If you're thinking of doing takeaway, tell them to save their drinks, unless of course you're into rust.

The service is fine, and the watermelon water is great, but as for the tacos... They truly are missing spice and flavor, they aren’t really out there and diverse, the tortillas are bad and it really feels cheap and not Mexican. The long queue misleads you, it really isn’t worth it and many people come just for the drinks. Don’t waste your time on this

This place was a chance find, after the timeout market was full of people shielding from the rain. We got lucky and got a table within minutes, the food was amazing, nothing like the poor excuse of Mexican food elsewhere. We saw people waiting outside for 30 minutes for a table, the staff brought them drinks and nachos which was a nice touch. Bill came to 33 euros with drinks (for 2) - this place I will return to one day. Obrigado....!

Das, was man als Essen bekommt, ist unglaublich lecker. Nicht der Standard-Mexikaner. Wer allerdings herkommt, um sich den Wanst vollzuschlagen, ist fehl am Platz. Die Portionen sind sehr überschaubar und die Preise ambitioniert, wenn auch angemessen. Der Laden versucht sehr szenig zu sein - relativ laute Musik, gedämmtes Licht, betont lässiges Personal. Das wäre überhaupt nicht nötig, da ich hier ein paar der besten Dips in meinem Leben gegessen habe. Schade. Ich würde das Essen gerne relaxter genießen und tiefer in diese Küche neben dem systemgastronomischen Mexiko-Allerlei einsteigen. I
nteressante Cocktails, die geschmacklich polarisieren aber auch das zeigt, dass man einen gewissen Mut hat. Gilt auch für die Biere.
Tipp: Mittags hingehen. Da gibt es das gleiche Essen mit weniger Szene zum besseren Preis.

Fantastyczne jedzenie, bardzo dobra obsługa! Uwaga: niektóre salsy tylko dla bardzo wytrzymałych ️ ️ ️ ale kelnerzy wszystko tłumaczą. Wieczorem często trzeba trochę poczekać na stolik, ale warto. Zdecydowanie polecam to miejsce.

Amazing Mexican restaurant, genuine corn tortillas, salsas and cocktails - loved it a lot for the food and has a great vibe on a Saturday night. Like any great taqueria, it's gets busy quickly so do step in before peak dinner time. Thoroughly recommend the asado carne, pescado rebosado and pollo en salsa verde. All the drinks are great, but the chupamela is probably one of the best drinks I've ever had... Comes with a caramelised slice of apple on top of a serious mixture! Don't miss out if in Lisbon.

I didn't think it was possible to have good Mexican food in Europe until I went here. So many other places miss the mark, but this one hits it dead on. Lunch is a set menu with a fresh juice, chips and salsa, quesadilla, three tacos, and a cafe for only 9€! Every dish was perfectly spiced for the the right amount of kick and full of flavor. Would consider flying back to Lisbon just to eat here again

Neste local não é possível ligar para fazer uma reserva. No entanto, apesar de haver por normal uma lista de espera à porta do restaurante, o acolhimento dos clientes é 5*, servem uma espécie de nachos gratuitamente e podemos já pedir uma bebida para irem esperando e convivendo no exterior... os pratos estavam muito bem confeccionados, achei as doses pequenas. 9 euros por 3 tacos... obriga a pedir 2 x

Non si capisce se é un bar un ristorante o una discoteca, locale affollato più fuori che dentro non eccelle ne in igiene che cortesia , mi sono trovato a discutere con un tizio che non ho capito se era uno del locale o un avventore,e comunque se anche fosse il proprietario non dovrebbe ubriacarsi e interagire con i clienti, pessimo

Best Mexican food I've had in Europe, hands-down. I'm from California and this place hit the spot. Tequila is fairly cheap too. Ask for seconds on the chips and salsa if you're in for a long wait in the cue, and if it's not too cold outside, order drinks from the bar and they'll bring them out to you in the street. Worth the wait.

This place is one of the best restaurants in Lisbon (period). If you live spicy and authentic Mexican food, you simply must give it a try. Their creamy habanero salsa is perfectly balanced and the Chipotle salsa is robust and packed with smoky flavor. Superb! What a pleasant find in Lisbon!

Er was een wachtrij toen we daar aankwamen, we kregen nachos tijdens het wachten. Eten was vrij goedkoop en heel lekker. Je kreeg ook verschillende sausjes op tafel en ze hebben ook twee keer de nachos aangevuld aan tafel. Lekkere limonade + je kan gratis kraantjeswater aanvragen! Zeker een aanrader.

Cheguei as 19h30 e já estava cheio dei o nome a um rapaz simpático para por na lista de espera, entretanto ofereceram-nos uns nachos enquanto esperávamos pela nossa vez. Pontos fortes gostei do ambiente, gostei da decoração, adorei o atendimento, gostei da comida, adorei a música. Pontos fracos um bocado escuro não conseguia ver bem a comida, e deviam pensar melhor naqueles molhos que dispõem para o cliente por na comida porque não os achei grande coisa.

Hands down one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The food, the staff and the whole vibe are top notch. It's worth the queue and they won't let you wait in line without a beer and chips in hand.

I came to Pistola y Corazon Taqueria as a solo diner and loved the experience. The staff were super helpful with the menu, starting with tortilla chips and 7 different salsas, you tell them what you liked and they make recommendations. Each of the items they brought were fantastic and when I'm back in Lisbon, I will be returning.

It was raining heavily when we went so the staff was accommodating and let us stand awkwardly in the back. They greeted us, took a drink order and gave us chips and pico while we waited. Drinks were fantastic. I loved the Chepamela and margarita. We ordered 5 different tacos dishes to share and they were all great. The garlic style salsa is on point and free! I will return if I am ever back in Lisboa.

The best tacos I ever had in Europe. Wide variety, don't remember about vegan/vegetarian options but they probably have them. Also they make their own fruit juices. 100% recommend. Place is not too big.

We got the lunch deal for €8.50 for three tacos, juice and coffee. The tacos were delicious and can't fault them. Service started off very strongly, telling us about all the salsas and dishing out the unlimited tortilla chips. After our tacos were served it seemed impossible to get anyone's attention, got no coffee and had to get up and ask for the bill. Other than that it was very nice. €2 for a bottle of beer. Three vegetarian option tacos.

As a Mexican I can say that this is one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been in Europe!! I had high expectations given the high ratings here. If you are from the US or have been to Mexico, skip this place. Not authentic at all. The taco shell tasted stale and dry, not flavorful. The only taco I kind of enjoyed was the tinga de pollo. The one with shrimp was terrible, didn't taste fresh, I had a hard time finishing it.
The concept with the hot sauce is cute (although none of them are really that spicy lol). The service was nice.
Unfortunately, the food didn't impress me and it was quite expensive for what it was.

Amazing Authentic Mexican in Lisbon. We moved from Arizona and love Mexican food. This is as close as you will come to being in Mexico. I recommend the Chorizo or Al Pastor tacos. The salsa selection here is top notch. If you want an authentic experience, this is the place.

I have been searching for an authentic AND good tasting Mexican restaurant since moving to Lisboa. This place is the real deal. First let’s start with chips and salsa. Coming from Arizona chips and salsa is a Must when it comes to Mexican food. Thank you for offering this. And I must say their ranges of salsa are what every American Hispanic girl dreams of. Second the drinks are well made and should be tried. The sopas and quesadillas are wonderful and full of flavor. I had the chorizo tacos. For me chorizo is a Mexican staple and must be made right. And trust me so many get it wrong. Pistols y Corazon gets it so very right. Not too much oil, not too much salt, the right amount of spices and a perfect grind. My husband ordered Al Pastors tacos. Again very spot on in the flavor profile. Now let me tell you about the service. Also spot on. Charming and attentive staff. Overall you can’t go wrong eating here.

From a Tejana living in the Bay Area: This is hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants—dare I say Tex-Mex that I have been in decades. The drinks are very unique and filled with lots of flavors, such as avocado orgeat and fermented pineapple. The food....the food...all I can say is that I shed the perfect tear with the “Pozole Verde” and my eyes closed with every bite of “El Patron.” I wasn’t necessarily looking for Mexican food for my last day on my Europe trip, as I was looking for the best gluten free food. I think I might have stumbled on the the best restaurant and gluten free restaurant. Besos!

You have to go here. It is so fun. Food is great. Drinks are great. Service is great. Atmosphere is great. This is hands down one of our favorite places to go or to take people. Biggest downside: it is both small and popular, which means waiting outside for a seat. However they give you chips and salsa while you are waiting!!! Plus we have had some great convos with other patrons out there on the street so it’s all good. Bonus tip - go for lunch it is easier to get in, or go right when they open for dinner.

I wouldn't normally be looking for Mexican food while on holiday in Lisbon, but stumbled on this place and as it was so busy, we thought it must have something going for it. We were given a selection of dips and a few corn chips on arrival. Added a couple of beers and things were starting to look good.
However, when our entrees & mains arrived we were shocked at how tiny they were. Tasty but so tiny, we all left hungry. Disappointing, purely from a quantity perspective.

This is a great place to have tacos and appetizers. When you first sit down, they bring out about 7 different salsas all made fresh. The are ranked by the level of heat. They start from tangy all the way to habenero based which will set your mouth on fire if you take a big scoop...you have been duly warned! We order a bunch of items including the vegetarian dishes and all were great. The service was excellent as well. They paid really close attention to our needs and if busy an informal hand wave would get their attention. Anyway it is highly recommended!

Fomos ao almoço, a decoração e o ambiente são excelentes, as pessoas que nos atenderam foram muito simpáticas e atenciosas, a comida estava boa.
Comecemos pela comida que estava boa, mas que estava longe de ser excelente, e suponho que os tacos que pedimos não tenham sido todos feitos ao mesmo tempo - dois já tinham ensopado no molho e já se estavam a desfazer. Eram bons, mas não eram nada de especial.
O Guacamole também não surpreendeu.
Foram todos simpáticos mas o serviço é muito desorganizado e descoordenado, esperamos para entrar, entramos e sentamos-nos escolhemos e voltamos a esperar que um dos muitos atarefados colaboradores se lembre de levantar o nosso pedido, o que é feito de forma aleatória (as pessoas que estavam ao nosso lado e chegaram depois, como estavam perto do balcão acabaram por ser atendidas primeiro).
Por vezes não é bom ter uma pontuação inflacionada, depois não é possível satisfazer a expectativa das pessoas.
Talvez volte a tentar outro dia e as coisas corram melhor.

My boyfriend and I went to Lisbon two weeks ago, i need to say i am mexican and he is irish but he loves mexican spicy food as much as i do. We went to this mexican taqueria and what i can say about it is that everything is delicious. I have had the opportunity to travel to some countries and all the time i want to go a mexican restaurant because i miss my food so much, but this was by far the most identical flavour to mexican that i have ever found abroad Mexico, it is like feeling at home. They have mexican beers too, and also they give you about 7 different hot sauces, obvs teeling you what is the softest and the strongest sauce. The staff is very friendly and warm. You cannot make a reservation but when you arrive to the place they offer you some nachos with pico de gallo while you wait and you can get some cocktails too. La michelada AMAZING and the carne asada tacos PERFECT. The waiter, which unfortunately i don't remember the name, was very kind and friendly.
If i have the opportunity to come back to Lisbon definately i am coming to the taqueria over and over again. Thanks for bringing that part of Mexico i miss the most! Cheers

Tacos de miedo! (to die for ) I had tacos de carne asada OMG! Best tortillas ever (soft and made out out of real-corn) and perfectly grilled steak meat. Absolutely loved the guacamole I ordered on the side and their signature green sauce that comes with the free totopos (tortilla chips) you get throughout your visit. Yummy!!
I also ordered what turn out to be a beautiful surprise: their tres leches has a white cheese frosting. Absolutely delicious! I also tried their lemon pie but that one was a bit too sweet for me. To drink I had an horchata.
The service was impeccable. As a matter fact, the run like clockwork. That was impressive considering how busy it was the whole time, there's a cue outside so be prepared to wait

It's a good place to go for tachos, especially that they provide you with nachos while waiting, a very nice gesture of them. The staff are super friendly. The reason I gave 3 stars, is because the tachos take forever to arrive. For me tacos is a street food served quickly. Here, it takes quite a while to get your tachos (even longer than the average wait in other restaurants). Also the average price of €8 for 3 tiny tachos, was another factor. Compound that with the time to get served, I decided on 3 stars. Nonetheless the tacos are delicious.

Such helpful staff and great food. We were in Lisbon for five days and it was our favourite meal. Atmosphere was brilliant and tacos were top class! No wonder they are the only restaurant in the area with queues out the door! I'd recommend sitting at the bar as there is a lot going on and great interaction with the knowledgable and enthusiastic staff. A great place for food and drinks! Upon arrival you are offered some tortilla chips with a selection of dips raging from mild to hot. And when I say hot I mean, HOT!!
The veggie blackbean tacos were delicious. The taco shell itself isn't hard but soft and is easy to eat without creating a mess.
The bar has an impressive collection of Tequila and Mezcal and the cocktail menu is bursting with variety, mainly using those two spirits as their base.
The service was inviting, informative and friendly. It was a marvel to observe the bartenders crafting cocktails and sharing their work with one another.

Es un bar taqueria con ambiente en la noche y buena música, muy oscuro. Los tacos son excepciones, los nachos recién hechos y la atención inmejorable. En cada orden de tacos vienen 3, no muy grandes, pero son de lo mejor que he probado. Ideal para picar y tomar cerveza, tiene Modelo negra, un detalle.

Editing my previous review and taking off one star. Oh, Pistola y corazon- you have been my happy place away from my home in Southern California for the past 2 years! Sadly, the prices have remained the same but the tacos have been reduced to street taco size. They taste great, but 3 street tacos won’t fill me up- and for €9? That’s a bit much.
I’m sure I’ll still come here for the El jefe margarita, but I won’t be returning as often as I once would.

Definitely the best tacos I've ever eaten! I ordered the shrimp tacos and my girlfriend the vegetarian one, least to say we were both really happy! The complimentary chips and huge variety of salsa dips were also lovely. Would absolutely recommend if you travel to Lisbon!

Amazing place! The tacos r really tasty. But the thing that makes Pistola y Corazón a wonder it's the people who works there. They r always thoughtful, polite and funny. A must to visit in Lisbon! ❤️❤️❤️

Excellent taco place! Never ending chips and dips We had quesadillas, fish tacos and beef tacos. They were all excellent. Wonderful vibe and friendly service. Could not fault anything and would hearty recommend.

Je n'ai aucuns regrets d'être allé dans ce restaurant. Intriguant au début car il y a toujours une flopée de monde jusqu'au trottoir d'en face, puis vient l'idée d'aller y manger "tôt" histoire d'avoir une place assise.
Superbe accueil : on vous propose un petit panier de chips avec plusieurs sauces gratuitement qu'ils rechargent le temps que votre plat arrive.
Les plats sont très bons, superbe cadre, si vous êtes de passage à Lisbonne je ne peux que vous conseiller cette adresse !

We had an amazing meal here. Our waiter, Noah, was really enthusiastic, friendly and attentive, and explained everything really well. The food was delicious- you get free refillable tortilla chips with loads of dips, which is a really nice touch. The tacos we had were great, and they had really good veggie options. Great atmosphere, food and staff!

Richtig, richtig gute Tacos. Am besten gleich sechs statt drei bestellen - besonders wenn man Hunger mitbringt. Die Drei-Chili-Schoten-Schärfe könnte manchen schon zu scharf sein. Ein bisschen Wartezeit muss man abends einkalkulieren, die ist das Essen aber auf jeden Fall wert. Sehr zu empfehlen.

It can take a long time to get a table, but once inside, the place is cool, the waiters are nice, the cocktails are original, and the tacos are very good.

10/10 amazing place, would recommended. Be ready to wait for a free table, it gets crowded on weekends here. While waiting, you'll be offered a plate of nachos & sauce on the house.
Tacos are delicious, and there are enough vegetarian options to choose from. Also I was impressed with the number of hot sauces offered - around 7 different ones, from mildly hot to extreme, all with unique flavors.

The food was amazing! I had the pork rind tacos and I’m now tempted to have even more! The guacamole was fresh and deconstructed so you can add salt and lime to your liking. When they say spicy - they’re not kidding. I was blown away - and all so cheap. Try the mescal in this friendly place run by people of many nations. If I were living in Lisbon, I’d make them super rich.

Já vim a este restaurante mais de dez vezes ao longo dos últimos anos, pelo que a minha crítica irá abranger tanto esta experiência como as anteriores.
O ambiente é muito descontraído e agradável, os funcionários apesar de por vezes sem poucos, muito atenciosos e atentos.
De todas as vezes fui recebida por inúmeras "caras" simpáticas, que apesar de não serem sempre as mesmas me trataram sempre de igual forma.
A qualidade da comida continua no excelente, mantendo-se consistente. De todas as vezes que como os tacos, são sempre acabados de fazer e deliciosos.
Recomendo vivamente os chilaquiles verdes para entrada, e o pastel três leches para terminar a refeição. Ambos não pertencem ao menu "individual" mas valem muito a pena.
Em termos de preço considero adequado para o elevado nível de qualidade tanto dos ingredientes usados como do produto final.
Sem dúvida uma das, se é que não, a melhor taqueria de Lisboa.
Recomendo vivamente.

One of my personal favorites in Lisbon. Try to come here at least twice every trip. If you are a mixologist or lover of drinks head to the bar for mezcal and tequila creations, Sunday brunch is great and the tacos are always on point. For fun, ask for the WiFi password ;)

Definitely my fav Mexican place in alll of Lisbon.
Unlimited chips and salsa while you’re there (and waiting to get in). Staff is really friendly, they even offer drinks and chips while you’re waiting outside, though I told them my friend is coming in 2 minutes and they refused to seat me which was weird.
You should know beforehand that they only have tacos. But they’re amazing and quite a variety of vegan and vegetarian as well.
Tasted amazing! Price was also reasonable.
Very innovative drinks! Only signature cocktails, but they’re AMAZING!

Tip: Reach before regular dinner time to avoid rush. We reached around 6, and easily got a table. By 7 at least 25 people were waiting in the queue to get in!

What a wonderful place: friendly staff, reasonable priced and good quality food, cheap drinks and tortilla chips on the house, with salsa and six sauces. Had the best hot sauce in my life here. A shame they don't sell their sauces bottled. Loved it a lot

We moesten even wachten vooraleer we binnen konden, kregen daarom al portie nachos en konden al een drankje bestellen. Buiten dat het eten heerlijk was, waren ze enorm vriendelijk! Leuke sfeer, vriendelijke mensen en lekker eten, wat moet je nog meer hebben?? Wij komen zeker terug!!!

We visited at lunchtime to try and avoid the queues mentioned at night from other reviews. We walked straight in and took advantage of the 11 Euro lunch special (four tacos with juice and a coffee). The lovely waitress brought complimentary chips with 7 salsas ranging in spice and heat. The tacos were perfect; exactly as I remember from a visit to Mexico’s east coast. The Carnitas and Shrimp tacos a particular highlight. Music was fantastic and waitstaff very helpful and attentive. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Stopped here for a quick lunch. The place was packed and, had I gone with more people, they would have turned me down; it seems that most places in Lisboa want reservations (?). Lucky for me, they found me a spot at the bar.
The ordering process is a bit odd (they give you a menu and a pencil for you to pick what you want), but everything came out super quick. The tacos I chose were very good; fresh and tasty. Too bad I couldn't make it back for dinner.
(I walked by again later that night and the place was packed, with people spilling out onto the street. Looked like fun!).

Very fun, young atmosphere, but the wait is super long. The tacos were tasty, tho more Mexican inspired than authentic. The biggest drawback was that the staff were so busy. Had to wait ages for someone to take my order even tho I got sent to the bar to order for takeaway. Did happen to sit beside someone who had previously worked their and was really nice (thank you for hooking me up with so many sauces!). It would be fun to go here with a group when you have tons of time to spare.

A very lovely place. Staff is great at informing you of the workings of the establishment. The service is quick. Food is a 4/5.
Do note, often times this place has a queue. It's definitely worth a wait and if you like mexican food, give it a shot.

Boa relação qualidade preço. Pode demorar algum tempo até se sentarem nas mesas, mas eles oferecem uma entrada enquanto se espera. A comida é muito boa, os funcionários são simpáticos e estão sempre prontos para nos explicar os diferentes níveis de picante que podemos pedir para os nossos tacos. Recomendo!

lunch for 7 to 10 euros, dinner comes at the same price but without drinks. Fresh, tasty and most important: original. Superb choice of homemade chili sauces, that are really hot at parts. almost everything is a must try, my top 3 though are the pescador tacos (only tuesday til friday), el patron (the bang for the buck dish, all buttery beef galore!), and the birra tacos (not sure i remember this correct) with crusty shells and lamb inside. cocktails are worth the money, lots of new and exciting combinations. last but not least: ace music selection, mostly golden era hiphop (I was enjoying my tacos to smif n wessun...) PLUS the best staff in town!

Nice spot, you need to get in early if you want a chance of a table. Cocktails are probably the highlight of the establishment. Avacado and cheese tortilla also takes a top prize for being awesome.
Staff are friendly and all seemed to speak fluent English which makes things just a bit easier.

I'd call the food Mexican "inspired" but if you're from California or Mexico you will be longing for the real thing. Service was very good and friendly. Atmosphere was fun and trendy. The food was good, not great. I liked the salsas quite a bit and there were about 6 to choose from. We had the Sunday brunch menu where you get a set number of dishes for a flat price which I thought was a good deal.
