Also ich war sehr überrascht, dass der Ort doch sehr preiswert ist, für diese Lage, direkt in der Nähe des castelo... Ein Glas Wein für 2,80 und ne Portion Gambas mit Reis 11,90. Sehr human wenn man das mit teils deutlich teureren Restaurants in ähnlicher Lage in Lissabon vergleicht. Leider gibt es dort sehr wenig Platz, dieser wird perfekt genutzt. Sehr nette Bedienung und lecker war es auch. Tisch war bereits reserviert, ich durfte jedoch schnell dort alleine essen. Reservieren ist empfohlen - oder Glück haben :) 5 Sterne Danke

The sangria tastes of red wine and the clams taste like white wine, what more could you want? Straight forward and simple eatery. Cheap for the area.

Excelente atención. Nada bullicioso. La comida riquísima y fuera de lo comun. La musica perfecta para comer tranquilo haciendo una pausa mientras deambulas por Lisboa.

The prices here lower than the average for the area but unfortunately the so is the quality of the food. The service was friendly enough but very slow on the night we were there. On the whole a disappointing dinner out.

We arrived later in the evening (10pm) to Mallagueta bar and we're still accommodated for dinner, even with a large group in the restaurant. We didn't mind the slower service as we were warned upfront and enjoyed a chat together whilst food and drink were revealed to us. The food was lovely - we did negotiate what we ate as not all menu items were available but it was excellent. The chorizo starter was very tasty. We came past again on NYE after the fireworks and were welcomed back by the owner and his wife. We sat out the front with some beers and delicious wine and enjoyed a very pleasant atmosphere

One of the nicest places for dinner in my trip so far, quite a positive surprise. The food is awesome! Authentic Portuguese flavours, with fresh fish and veggies. The place is 5-10 min walk from the busiest area in Baixa, which puts you in a relaxed environment very close to a mirador. Finally, suuuper friendly staff and good background (jazzy) music.

We went in for some healthy fresh foods for dinner, we saw this amazing cosy place. We immediatly Got so well received. We got some recomendations on what to order and it was amazing food! Above all, the most friendly guy Who helped us. Will defenitly be coming back here.

Food was terrible. "Chilo con carne" is a bean soup without any meat, shrimp pasta without any taste. "Malagueta potatoes" are frozen french fries with cheese. I rarely post any opinions, but avoid this place at any cost.

Freundliche Atmosphäre. Gutes Essen. Die Preise sind in Ordnung. Die Chefin war immer sehr nett. Erkannte mich sogar 2 Tage auf der Straße wieder und wir sprachen ein paar Sätze. To start I'd like to say the waitress who served us was undoubtedly the best part of this dining experience, she could not have been more friendly or helpful. Unfortunately the same can't be said for the manager/owner who's​ only interaction with us was to tell us we had to pay at the bar when we requested the bill. It was at this point she chose to inform us that it was cash only and no card payments are accepted. Luckily we had some cash with us. The food was middle of the road, perfectly edible but nothing spectacular. I wouldn't recommend it to others.

I was lured in by the great jazz and blues tracks they were playing. Friendly service from Lisbon wife / co-owner. Husband cooked very tasty fresh clams with spaghetti. With small beer around 8€. Nice chilled atmosphere with some sunshine coming through window onto street. Bistro feel. Speak English, local knowledge.
