Where shall I start with this review. We booked for our party of 15 through internet. Fast and friendly respons. After arriving in Lisboa we walked through the old town to Sala de Corte. It's located next to a small park with a parking garage nearby. After being welcomed by the friendly staff, we noticed the lovely industrial vibe this place has. Lots of leather and brass details. Some big coolingcabinets with beautifull cuts of meat. Due to the size of our company, the staff offered to grill some big prime pieces of picanha, sir loin and steaks for us. They served it with grilled veggies, meatplatters, fried and battered spicy balls. And more. Winecard is excellent. All and all a good experience.

In one sentence, best restaurant for meat lovers in Lisbon. Super friendly staff, high quality service and amazing food.
The place is quite cozy, silent and inviting. The open kitchen lets you see what are they doing with your meat, but the smell is not intrusive.
Average meal rounds 35~40€ with wine, but it is totally worth it.
Cheers to Chef Gaspar for the wonderful job.

Penso que tive azar porque pedi um prego da vazia e a carne tinha um bom bocado de "nervo" não comestível. Quando discretamente chamei a atenção da empregada para o assunto, a resposta foi ainda mais desconcertante. Fiquei a saber que a carne da vazia é mesmo assim, tem nervos e pronto, devia ter escolhido outra coisa!

Very nice atmosphere with modern decor. Open kitchen where you can watch the chefs using the Josper ovens to cook the steaks. Display case featuring the aged beef on display just inside the front door. Succulent beef with delicious deep flavor and good side dishes. Always full so reservations are a must. You get the table for a 2 hour time slot.

Sehr zuvorkommendes, aufmerksames Personal, hervorragendes Fleisch, auf den Punkt zubereitet. Tolle Weine. Einziger Wermutstropfen war, man sollte erst ab 21:00 zum Essen gehen, da es 2 Schichten gibt. Aber die Zeit ist mit 2 Stunden ausreichend um gut in Ruhe zu essen.

We had a perfect experience, one of the best restaurant experiences ever as a matter of fact. The service, in particular, was outstanding and we were all very satisfied with the food. The mashed potatoes with truffle is a must have! Make sure to get there pretty early, before 7 PM, to make sure you get a table, or make a reservation in advance.

The meat was good but I had better. Was expecting more. The side dishes were very good but I was there for the meat. Desserts were also good. Wines are expensive, specially for a place that you want to have a good wine with a good meat. We end up bringing our own wine.

Een heel gezellig restaurant dat echt mooi is ingericht. Best op voorhand reserveren! Wij hadden dit niet gedaan en moesten dus 45 minuten wachten. We konden wel buiten aan staantafeltjes iets drinken dus dat viel mee. We kregen een plaatsje aan de bar en hadden dus een perfect zicht op de open keuken. Heel leuk om te zien. Het eten was heel lekker maar een beetje duur! Iedereen was super vriendelijk!

I can fairly say this place has the best meat hamburger I have eaten in a long time! The waiting is long and some might even give up but if you don't mind the wait, it's worth it. Their sommelier was friendly and knowledgeable and his wine suggestion was more than amazing! Will be back for their famous steaks.

Sehr schöne location. Man muss reservieren ansonsten muss man draußen warten bis ein Tisch frei ist. Das Schöneste daran ist, dass man während man wartet schon sein Lieblingsgetränk bestellen und vor ab genießen. Sie bieten richtig gutes Fleisch an, Preise dementsprechend, aber jeden Cent war es Wert.
Wer ein Fleischgenießer ist, dann ist SALA DE CORTE ein perfekter Stop.

Entramos por equivocación, pensamos que se trataba de otro Restauramte y nos alegramos de entrar.
Nos atendieron muy amablemente.
Las dos carnes que pedimos estaban riquísimas tanto el chateaubriand como el entrecot y la hamburguesa de los niños también. Me sospecho que todas las carnes que no probamos también deben de estar buenas.
Se agradece el detalle y la preocupación por que la carne que pidiese no fuera demasiado grande y que no pudiera acabar , me acercó el trozo para asegurarse de que era justo lo que quería.
Muy simpático el sorbete de limón cubierto de chocolate blanco y petazetas, que explotan en la boca mientras lo comes!!.

Für Freunde von Filet und Steak ist das Sala de Corte wohl die erste Adresse in Lissabon. Es gibt für jeden Geschmack etwas und alles wird erfreulicherweise so gebraten, wie man es bestellt. Das Restaurant ist stimmig und gemütlich eingerichtet. Klare Empfehlung!

Where can you get a flawless dinner night from end to end? Probably in this spot!
From the decoration of the space, staff, quality of food and wine offer this place achieves easily a high level in all details. I would say that the only thing I would try to adjust if I was the manager of the restaurant it would be the amount of tables...sometimes it becomes a little bit noisy...too much...
In this place the orientation of the staff to achieve client satisfaction is superlative...it was one of the first times that I saw a waiter to suggest to the client to focus on the main course and forget the starters in order to have appetite and enjoy at the maximum the core experience of this restaurant...amazing matured meat! And what a good sugestion that was...or else it would harder to finish the 1.5 kg outstanding chuletón meat that came to the table.
But a full experience also means to combine the proper red wine with your meat...and for that they send an expert to explain what and why should you drink. And this closes the circle and makes good moments in our mouth and happy memories for a long time.
It is not a cheap place...but it worths every euro you spend there...I always defend the idea that it is better to save money of 3 or 4 not bad dinners out to spend 2 hours in a gourmet heaven like this place.
A must go if you are in Lisbon and in the mood for good meat, good wine and some good conversations with a staff that vibrates when talking about what they offer. Enjoy!
PS- because building a path to the top is all about details let me enhance and thank the two amuse de bouche that the chef offered during the night making even the waiting moments special.

Best meat restaurant I have been. Sitting at the bar is really entertaining as the kitchen and bbq ovens are on the other side, so you can see their process. The staff is really professional and gives good advice. I would rate this five stars, considering quality of food, price and dining experience.

Entradas muito boas e variadas. Toda a carne é bem confeccionada e muito boa. Para quem gosta de grandes bifes este é o lugar ideal. Demoram pelo menos 1hora a chegar à mesa (cheguei eram 19h e só comecei a comer por volta das 8h40). Não é barato mas também fomos em grupo e provavelmente os preços por pessoa subiram devido ao consumo de bebidas. Para primeira experiencia, foi muito agradável.

Local muito bem decorado , com u espaço interior muito acolhedor e com um pátio muito bonito , mas falando da comida que foi o que me levou ao espaço , a carne maturada estava excelente , e muito bem confecionada , os acompanhamentos estavam muito bons , gostei do Brás de cogumelos , que estava mesmo no ponto é os molhos estavam muito bem feitos , o vinho mesmo o mais barato , combinou muito bem com a carne comida , em suma tudo muito bom.

This restaurant just opened in a new location and I wanted to check it out. They have several meat cuts and the waiters will readily help you decide which one to try. The sommelier will also help you choose the right wine for the chosen cut. The wine menu has many references and fortunately it is not composed of just major brands, but it is a bit pricey. The quality of the meat is amazing. The side dishes are awesome. The desserts are very good. If you are a meat lover like me you cannot miss out this one.

Carne excepcional, serviço desastroso.
A qualidade da carne é irrepreensível mas o serviço deixa muito a desejar. 2 horas de espera para conseguir almoçar não é um standard de serviço aceitável.
Mesa para 2 pessoas , entrámos pelas 13h .
- Passou meia hora até que viessem recolher o nosso pedido.
-Uma vez feito o pedido tivemos que esperar mais 15 minutos para que pudéssemos pedir bebidas, dois copos de vinho.
- Um dos copos de vinho veio passado 5 minutos, o segundo demorou mais 15 minutos e 3 chamadas de atenção aos empregados.
- A comida não chegava, a mesa ao lado da nossa que se sentou e pediu depois de nós já tinha acabado a refeição. Chamámos a empregada que foi ver o que se passava, passado 10 minuto sem informar que estão 3 pedidos à frente do nosso. No entanto a mesa do lado já tinha acabado e pediu depois de nós, sinal claro que se esqueceram do nosso pedido. -Os pratos principais acabam por chegar passado uma hora e meia de se ter efectuado o pedido inicial.
- No final , quando confrontado com a situação o chefe de sala encolhe os ombros e baixa a cabeça em vez de pedir desculpas ao cliente.
Vou voltar porque a carne é incrível mas não se aceita um nível de consistência de serviço tão baixo quando se paga 50€ por pessoa.

Good food just doesn’t taste good when you don’t feel welcome. A half full restaurant around noon and the staff still couldn’t handle the few guests. Substandard service is not what I’d expect from such a place.

Superbe soirée avec une très bonne ambiance.
La viande est excellente, elle fond dans la bouche. De même pour les desserts qui sont succulents. Les serveurs sont dynamiques, à l’écoute et sympathiques.

No meu aniversário na noite passada fomos 7 jantar à Sala de Corte. Concordamos com o que os foi proposto, jantar entre as 19h e as 21h. Chegámos às 19.05h, pedimos vinhos, entradas e 2kg de Rabada Minhota Galega. Eram 20:45h quando a carne chegou a mesa. Dos 7, ninguém achou a carne fantástica, mas o pior veio depois. Eram 21:15, acabados de cruzar os talheres, vieram dizer que teríamos de terminar o jantar ao balcão, porque tinham outros clientes para sentar. Como assim??! a carne chega à mesa às 20:45h e esperam que o cliente termine às 21h?? Reclamamos mas só obtivemos respostas arrogantes do empregado que nos serviu e do chefe de sala... inadmissível, ainda por mais a pagarmos 50€ por cabeça. Nunca mais voltamos.

Went there to lunch. On the set time we were alone but the place was very fast packed. Very good service and very knowledgeable staff. The food and drinks were fabulous. The meet was made perfectly, the paired wine was top notch. The desert- wow the best chocolate mouses I ever had. If you like good meet and high standard service this is your place. Be aware- it is not a cheat restaurant

My partner is a meat lover so I organised a dinner at Sala de Corte and we loved it. The best beef we have had in Lisbon since we moved here over a year ago. The atmosphere is nice and smart and they make great cocktails too!

We went there as a group of 8 with a reservation on a Wednesday night.
The service started fine however the lady who introduced herself as our hostess was only there during the introduction and from then on we dealt with 3 different people from service who got drink and food orders mixed up.
We were in a good mood so no problem, however we waited 50mins for our food (noone mentioned it would take that long) and that was just a bit too much for us.
The food was fine but it was mostly little things that would make me not come back... (there was no salt on the tables, there is no option for vegetarians, they still have plastic straws etc.)
The staff tried very hard to sell the big meats to share which turned out to be much more expensive than if we had taken the single portions.
Overall fine to go as the food was tasty but not a top notch place as they try to sell themselves.

Os vinhos estão com “overprice” , uma taça de Rubrica 7€ ? Mais caro do que uma garrafa inteira ? A qualidade da carne é top, porém , a batata frita é muito fraca , um restaurante de carne tem obrigação de ter uma batata frita crocante bem feita!!!

L'un de nos restaurants préférés à Lisbonne. Excellent rapport qualité/prix : c'est bien sûr cher mais la qualité est vraiment au rendez-vous. Ce n'est pas un restaurant à faire tous les soirs, c'est le restaurant où on va pour se faire plaisir sans regarder la note (ex : a deux, nous avons manger 1,2kg de viande matirée 30j pour 92€.)
Le vin, le service, le décors... tout est très bien.

Food was very good. Had the lomo and they prepared it just perfectly medium rare as ordered. They had an Argentinian Malbec, so I was in heaven (personal preferenc).
The staff is very friendly but kind of inefficient. I waited 10 minutes to order, they forgot my water, and it took me a while to get the attention of a waitress to order a second glass of wine. There appeared to be many waitors running around but kind of underachieving. Maybe an organizational issue? Here's room to improve for a really enjoyable restaurant.
I will come back and hope to give five stars next time!

EDIT: the food is still great but prices went up x2 in 1 year and a half.
For example, maturada entrecôte went from 17 to 28€ in 16 months. And you still have to pay more for side dishes (5€ for potatoes).
Meanwhile, quality of service decreased.

Service was terrible, sat down at 7:30 after receiving menus, did not see a waiter for 40 min at which point we had question on wine, asked us if we wanted to see sommelier then waited another 15min. The sommelier was only high point. Wine choice was excellent. A few servers came to table to deliver food. One female server extremely unfriendly and rude, bothered when we did not understand her accent when she delivered our food, which by the way in a high end restaurant they know what each guest orders, they don’t ask like a diner server throwing it at you from a platter. . Since our arrival in this beautiful country we have been greeted with wonderful accommodating lovely people, this was our first bad experience. We are from New York, have eaten in wonderful steak houses all over the world. If this was anywhere else it would be rated lower. This clearly caters to the crew ships, and does not have high standards in service or pride in food, two people around received cold side dishes, and menu so basic, they should not mess this up. Do better! thumbs down.

Muito satisfeito com a comida, a carne estava óptima mas vi algo que me deixou insatisfeito com o restaurante. Pedi um super bife para partilhar, levaram a carne para pesar numa balança digital e qual é a minha surpresa...na balança já se encontrava uma tábua de madeira,antes de colocar a carne puseram outra tábua e depois aí assim a pesaram carne vieram dizer o preço. Essas tábuas não são leves portanto quem me diz que paguei o peso real do que comi. Falei com o funcionário mas nem ele soube explicar. Eu acho que paguei as tábuas do que a carne!
Very pleased with the food, the meat was great but I saw something that made me dissatisfied with the restaurant. I ordered a super steak to share, they took the meat to weigh on a digital scale and what is my surprise ... on the scale was already a wooden board, before putting the meat they put another board and then there they weighed the meat came tell the price. These boards are not light so who tells me I paid the real weight of what I ate. I spoke to the clerk but he could not explain. I think I paid the boards than the meat!

If steak is your thing then this is the place for you. The wine we had was good and the sommelier guided us well (just don't them up sell you too much though ).
The desserts were particularly good too.
The venue is a perfect fit, the staff were all helpful, if you are looking for a fancy steak dinner, you'll be very happy.

The best meat restaurant in town. You definitely need to try one of the starters. I choose Presunto pata negra which is one of a kind. You don't want it to finish that fast. Try to go there at least 2 people then you can choose the bigger portion meats otherwise yoi'll smaller ones like 200:250gr.
Watch the chefs cooking for you. Don't need to go for the red glass of wine which is served in a huge bottle. You can also try some other wines.
And if you are full don't try desert :)
Prices are a over the avarage but it's definitely worth that.

Delightful starter: goat cheese in pastry with fig jam and caramelized pecans. Flavorful steak (a wall of steaks!) Creative, satisfying side dishes (potatoes dauphinois! asparagus with mushrooms!). And I would I be remiss if I failed to mention the attentive service, including the artistic presentation of baba au rhum.

I could have given this place 6 stars! Had multiple mouthgasms!!! Chateaubriand was heaven, although i believe that all of the food is amazing. Carpaccio was served with truffle cheese and pistache, WOW! Service was remarkably good. Just trust the wine-guy and take his recommendation, will not disappoint! Make sure to reserve!!!! Lange auf unserer "Zu besuchen"-Liste, hat uns dieses Restaurant leider sehr enttäuscht.
Ganz schlechter, chaotischer Service - wir hatten mit ca. 6 verschiedenen Kellnern zu tun, kleine Portionen und hohe Preise im Vergleich zu anderen Fleischrestaurants in Lissabon.
Ohne Reservation sollten wir bitte ca. 50-60min warten (dies um 22h00). Kein Problem für uns, da wir draussen was trinken konnten. Dort warteten wir über 30min auf 2 Getränke. Dann kam nur 1 davon. Wieder 15min gewartet, aber das Zuwinken wurde ignoriert. Schlussendlich mussten wir aufstehen und an der Bar bestellen. Dann fiel uns auf, dass andere die nach uns gekommen sind vor uns einen Tisch kriegten. Wir warteten 75min. Endlich am Tisch, wurde uns der falsche Cocktail serviert, mit Alkohol statt ohne. Das bestellte Wasser wurde uns trotz Reminder nicht gebracht. Die bestellte Beilage wurde uns erst nach zweimaligem Reklamieren gebracht. Und zu guter letzt wurden uns uf der Rechnung Cafés verrechnet die wir nicht bestellt hatten.
Wir haben noch vor Ort unsere Enttäuschung kommuniziert. Mehr als ein Sorry lag nicht drin. Geschmacklich war das Essen Ok. Aber auch nicht mehr. Das Warten war für uns kein Problem, Samstagabend ohne Reservation ist halt so. Dann trinken wir gerne etwas währenddessen. Aber vom Service fühlten wir uns echt veräppelt.
Wir kennen Lissabon sehr gut und sind mehrmals im Jahr dort. Unser Fleischrestaurant bleibt dasjenige im Principe Real. Geniales Fleisch, gute Preise, top motivierte und sehr herzliche Mitarbeiter.

Por suuesto la carne es razonablemente buena, tomando en cuenta que es su especialidad. Es muy cara en Portugal y precio-calidad es nada que ver con España. El servicio es bueno, como acostumbran en Portugal son muy atentos y muy guapos ellos. Aunque estaba vacio a la hora que llegue, al no tener reserva, me ofrecieron sitio en la barra. Un fallo del maitre. No obstante, encantada de ver en primera fila como funciona una cocina en Lisboa. El tomate picante y especiado lo mejor. El chimichurri una decepcion. El precio de los acompañantes...se pasan 3 pueblos. Es decir: 51E una persona, en Lisboa? con sueldos de 700E? petado de turistas. Por muy buena que sea la comida, es una salvajada seas portugues o extranjero.

Os cortes mais atrativos para serem partilhados são de cortes grandes, 1kg em média pelo que nos foi dito por um colaborador. Viste que não fomos com vontade de bater records pessoais de ingestão de carne, optamos por um corte mais comum ; entrecote. Não veio concretamente no ponto pedido o que deixou o prato sem grande vontade de fazer uma próxima visita. Carpaccio com azeite de trufa de tirar o chapéu!

Horroroso, le doy una porque no se le puede dar cero, despues de esperar 45 minutos de pie pasando a gente sin reserva a su gusto nos dieron dos asientos en la barra enfrente de la plancha que desprendía un montón de calor. Les pedimos si nos pueden cambiar y nos dijeron con mala cara que iban a tardar otros 5 minutos para mover los cubiertos y dos vasos a otro sitios de la barra a 5 metros. Nos fuimos al final sin pedir nada, no pensamos volver nunca.

We booked hassle free via the webpage. Greeted upon arrival by a friendly waiter, given ample recommendations for food and wine, consulted the sommelier and were happy with our choices. A nice amuse a bouch to start with alongside the cocktail. We tried the loin strips and the beef croquettes, both very tasty. Shared a chateaubriand with several side dishes, everything cooked to perfection. Ended the evening with some espresso outside, to full to be able to try out the desserts. Service was top notch without beeing over the top all through the evening. Fancy but certainly not snobby. We loved everything about the restaurant. Thank you for making our last night in Lisbon memorable!

By far the best meal you can have in Lisbon if you're a meat lover. Great meat, fabulous atmosphere, excellent experience. The kitchen is visible by the bar and enjoyable to look at. The lion strips starter is exceptional.

This is now my favorite restaurant in Lisbon.. the food is sooo good .. we didn’t have a reservation and the place was full so we sat at the bar where you see the staff cooking .. everything was sooo yummy you have to try this place

If I could give 0 stars I would. Food was ok however don’t expect to order what you would like as the obnoxious and pretentious staff believe they know best. We had a a group reservation and were treated with constant disrespect and even racism! I’ve never left a restaurant feeling such disgust! Please do not enter this establishment as they are absolutely despicable. They have absolutely no care for their customers and this is certainly not a place to dine and feel relaxed. I’ve never reviewed any establishment with such a low rating before but I definitely urge anyone thinking of going here to go elsewhere.

Advised of a 20 minute wait as we hadn't reserved but were seated in a fraction of that. Lovely steak, and as someone who often finds the chef won't cook it to my liking so avoids the best steakhouses, was pleasantly surprised to find mine was cooked how I asked - well done. My friends too who had theirs rare and medium rare were pleased too, though they may have been served each others, not that it spoiled their meal, (and was probably in part their fault - if you're reading this and recognise yourselves ha ha).
Not too sure what the purpose of taking the bottle of wine away from the table is though and returning to top glasses up with it. Probably have made it through a further bottle if it had been left to us!
The price wasn't even silly given the location and premium venue, I've paid far more for similar elsewhere.

Há um ano escrevi "Maravilhoso. Nunca desilude. Carne ótima. E equipa super profissional" . Edito agora para dizer que a carne continua boa mas servico mt mau. À exceção da menina da entrada, os empregados sao armados em despachados, sem saber tratar os clientes. Nao se dão ao trabalho sequer de fazer frases inteiros. Atiram as perguntas "molho?" "ponto?". Ao ponto de termos de pedir desculpa por nao os estarrmos a perceber. Resumindo, podia ser um jantar mt bom e a equipa estraga. O

해산물이 풍부한 포르투갈, 리스본에서 보기드문 스테이크맛집이다. 에이징 스테이크 맛집으로 포르투갈의 소외에도 다양한 나라의 소로 에이징 된 스테이크를 맛볼 수 있다. 최근에는 한국에도 에이징 스테이크 맛집이 무척 많다. 어찌보면 이런 에이징스타일의 고급 스테이크 레스토랑은 한국보다 조금 늦은 감이 없잖아 있지만 가성비가 무척 훌륭했던 곳으로 함께 했던 친구들과 즐거운 런치식사를 했다. (에이징 등심이 250그램 기준 23유로, 3만원정도) 게다가 외국인에게도 친절하고 유쾌했던 서비스와 적당한 굽기의 스테이크와 무척 잘 어울렸던 레드와인 두 병은 내가 따로 체크를 해둘 정도로 훌륭했다. 딱 적정선을 지키는 스테이크 전문점으로 간만에 만족스러운 런치타임이었다. 낮술도 참 좋았고. . .

My friend recommend me to try this steakhouse and boy am I impressed! The beef carpaccio was one of the best I ever had and the steak was perfectly cooked and marinated. I wish I wasn’t traveling solo so I could order the bone in rib eye. Anyhow the cut I order was still very good. Service is great and very professional, I recommend dinning here.

Want the best Meat in town? Youll probably won’t find a place that has more to offer then Sala de Corte! They know their business 100% Beside the food, also the service (ask for recommendations) and the venue plays its part! If you are a tourist, don’t be to early or to late, then you might easy find a table between the common tourists and the locals. But if you wanna play it save, just bool the table online! dont miss it if u love meat!!
