Experiência fantástica ! Ambiente muito clean e com atenção a detalhes. O menu de degustação foi uma ótima opção. O staff foi atento e muito, muito simpático. A comida muito saborosa, com produtos frescos, tendencialmente da época. E tivemos o prazer de falar com o chefe no final da refeição. Experiência a repetir, sem dúvida.

Super restaurant, plats très raffinés, goûts et textures incroyables. Petites quantités mais petits prix, il est conseillé de prendre 3 plats. Personnel très compétent et faisant l’effort de parler français. Véritable coup de cœur culinaire.

We arrived on a rainy day and were almost about to cancel. Lucky us - we did not. Arriving with a very warm welcome in a perfectly nice and classic while at the same time thoughtful designed location, we were happy we made it. We discovered that a usual order would be a couple dishes. Though, we chose to take the five course Menu with a wine pairing. The sommelier was very much on point, suggesting local, partly organic wines that resembled a perfect match with every course. From light dishes with mushrooms to a relatively heavy course including fish, all was a great composition. Service was super attentive from the first to the last minute. This place is highly recommendable and gives you an unrivaled dinner experience.

Super restaurant, superbe expérience en plein cœur de Lisbonne. Un restaurant au cadre sobre, avec une équipe sympathique qui vous fera découvrir la cuisine surprenante du chef Joao Sà, une cuisine gastronomique accessible (120€ : 2 menus dégustations et une bouteille de vin 15 ans d'âge) et délicieuse. Encore une fois une superbe expérience et une très belle soirée passée.

Foi uma experiência muito agradável. Eu e o meu marido comemos ao balcão e ainda bem. Tivemos a oportunidade de observar a montagem dos pratos e das sobremesas. Absolutamente lindos e deliciosos. O meu menu de degustação, ao contrário do do meu marido, foi todo vegan cheio de criatividade e sabor. O espaço tem uma decoração clean e alguns detalhes muito originais. Recomendo vivamente.

Ambiente super agradável com uma decoração moderna mas sóbria preparada para deixar brilhar os pratos. Existe a opção menu degustação com 5 pratos.mas também é possível compor o seu próprio menu degustação. Recomendo a interpretação do chef da nossa carne a alentejana - fantástica! E também o cordeiro maravilhosamente grelhado, bem como os carabineiros. A equipa, atenciosa, está preparada para muito bem receber os clientes.

Rien à envier aux restaurants bistro gastronomique français. Un menu autour de 40€ en 5 services avec des plats vraiment maîtrisés et des saveurs originales. Un must à Lisbonne.

If you are looking delicious Portuguese cuisine with a modern interpretation and refined execution, then this is the place to go. Wandered in without a booking from a local recommendation and what a delight! Their entrance is inviting and although the waitress spoke limited English she was very friendly. We were suggested to order a few small dishes and I think that’s the best way to go so you can sample more of different dishes. Their cod was delicious and so was their cuttlefish mousse dish. In fact their seafood tart and slow cooked pork cheek were also exceptional. Their food is probably the best I’ve have in Lisbon.

What a great find. The restaurant caught our eye when wondering through the streets mid afternoon. The team were prepping for evening service. We managed to get an evening table and wow were we lucky Joao Sa has quite a reputation and his menu sure packs a punch. From the beautiful oysters in an explosion of tomato flacours to delicious Watermelon with exquisuite beef. The wine list is great and well priced..This is top end dinning for a great price... Do support this young team! The seafood tart is to die for and the cheese is a delight!!!!

O conceito não é partilha mas é impossível não experimentar o "outro" prato do lado, todo o menu é apetecível. A sugestão é escolher 2/3 pratos por pessoa e o detalhe desse número de talheres estarem dentro de um bolsa para que possamos ir trocando é de muito bom tom. Aconselho experimentar tudo!! Delicious food and atmosphere, Only the girl the waitress needs to communicate with two customers and not just with the man .... The food in this restaurant is tasty, it’s true, but I don’t want to return to this attitude. 4 star since I don’t like when girls treat customers that way ...

Une expérience gastronomique exceptionnelle, des plats originaux aux saveurs subtiles, un service professionnel et chaleureux et un accord mets/vins très bien réalisé. Environ 100€ par personne pour le menu dégustation avec 5 verres de vin. Mériterait une étoile.

Marvelous experience: splendid and original dishes accompanied by a selection of excellent wines. Congratulations to the chef and his professional team. Definitely a place to return to and in our opinion this restaurant deserves a Michelin star!

I recently had a wonderful dinner at Sála. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing. The dishes were all delicious and beautifully presented. Staff was very friendly. And it has that warm and cosy small restaurant atmosphere. The kitchen is open onto the main room so you can see the chefs at work.

A Top 5 meal of all-time? YES. The New Year's Eve dinner was absolutely incredible and I'm lucky to have had it. The staff was delightful and getting to know them was a lot of fun. Thank you all so much.

Treat yourself to a meal here if you have the opportunity. The food is delicious and beautiful. The service is attentive without being intrusive. I ate at the bar on a rainy weekday evening and had a brilliant experience chatting with the kitchen staff. Incredible value for a nice evening.

Very average for the place it claims itself to be. Really nothing special. Over priced, not authentic, and pretentious. If you’re looking for a great gastronomic experience, I suggest to look further.

Came here with a group of 5 people and we were pretty disappointed. It started with us wanting to order a wine which they didn’t have, then 3 of us wanted the tasting menu and two wanted to choose a la carte which they rigidly didn’t accept. The aperitif drink that we ordered never arrived, three of the dishes we wanted to order they didn’t have... The food was average but the service was even worse. Instead of being offered something complimentary (given that they declined 5 of the things we asked for it would have been nice) we were given a handshake on our way out?! This place positions itself as haute cuisine with beautifully presented ‘instagrammable’ plates, but the quality of the flavours unfortunately don’t match. I ordered a shrimp dish which had a huge amount of cream that overpowered the shrimp, the bao was not as tasty or fluffy as it should be, the celeriac veggie dish was fresh and nice but it was neither hot or cold and the flavours were a bit bland. Not a bad place but none of us would come back after this experience and the high cost of this restaurant does not reflect the level of service.

Encontramos esse restaurante por acaso... fica próximo ao hotel onde estamos hospedaria. Ambiente tranquilo, moderno e agradável. Comemos o couvert (muito bom os pães caseiros e a manteiga de pico, sentimos falta do azeite, pedimos e trouxeram na sequência). Experimentamos os legumes ( tipo ecrasse) estava muito saboroso. Pedimos tb o bacalhau, achei ok. A emulsão de coentro e ervas deixa o prato meio enjoativo... de repente se tivesse uma quantidade melhor o sabor do bacalhau ficaria mais acentuado. Apesar deste detalhe, a experiência foi legal! De acordo com as escolhas o garçom sugere elementos da carta de vinhos.

One of the best gastronomic experiences I've had so far. Starting from the Sála's unique environment, everything was in perfect conditions. I went for the tasting menu which I loved! Each dish was better or as good as the previous one and the dishes were very well chosen in terms of quality and taste combinations. The staff was all very friendly and knowledgeable about the food which was really helpful to clarify me in some things. Then the best part was meeting the chef João Sá. He came to our table and we discussed about his menu. Really appreciated his time to meet me. Absolutely recommend this place! It's a "must" if you are near Terreiro do Paço.

I dined alone at the chef's table, tasting a number of small plates for dinner. Excellent food and impeccable service. I thoroughly enjoyed the wine recommendations from the Chef. Highly recommended.

Great service and good portion of food. The food is very very rich without many fresh elements to balance it. The bao was by far our favorite. The prawn was awful- do not get it!!!

Great place, which I can highly recommend. The food is superb and the service is as well. It's a small place with contemporary decor and cosy and intimate atmosphere. This place is truly a bargain and a hidden gem.

Exceptional meal. Newer place that doesn’t have the same international buzz as others (yet), but recommended to me by multiple locals and expats. Tasting menu was fantastic.

The food was too fussy. Service was delightful but we would not go back. We had better meals in Lisbon for much less.

Gehobene Küche zu gehobenen Preisen, aber jeden Cent wert. Die Gerichte sind sehr ausgeklügelt, mit interessanten Geschmäckern und Texturen und auch toll angerichtet. Das Prinzip ist es, viele kleinere Gänge zu bestellen - man wird auf jeden Fall satt! Einige vegetarische Optionen!
