Everything about this place is absolutely magical. The view, pool and outdoor chill area are perfect! Also: The design, the interior, the breakfast (fruit, yoghurt, fresh bread, cheese, everything!) and the wonderful staff (thank you for everything, Fred, Marina and Paula!). They really go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Keep doing what you're doing and we will be back for sure.

A heavenly place, beautiful hotel grounds, views from the terrace to the ocean, an excellent barbecue area, we loved cooking on it) Wonderful and hospitable hotel owner! Thanks Fred! Our vacation was in the best place in all of Portugal. Will definitely be back again!

Weird place. We didn’t get the rooms and package (Yoga & Surf lessons included) that we booked via an agency. Also you can’t use half of the space because the guy lives there. In the end the host blamed the booking agency and insisted on payment. When we tried to figure everything out (being constantly on the phone during holidays sucks) eventually the host threatened to beat us. We left and found a nice spot. Never coming back.

The owner of this hotel had requested our check in time prior to arrival which we estimated to be around 8pm from Lisbon. When we arrived at the bus terminal in ericeira at 8:20, I called him for more direction on how to get to the hotel and he claimed we were late to arrive and that he wasn’t ‘my slave’ and that he would not have us stay and we would need to cancel our booking. So incredibly rude and pretty much the worst thing you could do to someone who is travelling and exhausted and lost their luggage etc etc. Luckily we found a much better place in the center of town for a better price with super lovely people hosting us and walking distance to all the good restaurants/ nightlife/ surfing in a ericeira called Vinnus Guest house - highly recommend! All worked out in the end...
