Delicious food, everything super tasty and the service was great too. We were asking a lot of questions about the ingredientes and recipes and they were extra nice and helpful. Definitely a must for a different food from classic portuguese or italian around

Delicious - we went as the other reviews were so positive and it did not disappoint! The pappadums were some of the best we have ever eaten. We enjoyed the chicken korma and chana masala. The roti were also terrific. We were extremely happy with our dinner and will go again before our holiday is over.

Comida muy rica y atención excelente! Muy simpáticos! Amplias opciones tanto para veganos como no veganos. Muy recomendable!

2nd visit here, superb again, food excellent, not the usual UK/European adapted curry, the real thing, service excellent again, I am on crutches with a broken leg and they have made things as comfortable and easy for me as they can, highly recommend

"Flavor of India" has an authentic taste to their excellent cuisine, due to the expertise of their chef from India. The chef has decades of experience in traditional cooking. In addition, the front of house and serving staff are extremely friendly and take a real interest in your dining experience. I would recommend this establishment, without hesitation, to anyone with a taste for Indian food.

We were welcomed back, food just as great as last time. Friendly and professional staff who speak English. Siam ( not sure how to spell it) was informative of menu and looked after my 3 year old. Great for couples or families. Complimentary poppadoms and pickle tray are a nice touch as was the port at the end of a wonderful meal. Thanks for looking after us. Hope to see you again soon. Brilliant food , v accomodating to our special dietary needs. Just lovely. Also situated in the beautiful Alvor with it's traditional streets , it was very buzzy and fun. Will definately go back!

Excellent food,never eaten that much...we ordered another main dish because it was that good, simply had to try more...papadum, onion bhaji,vegetable samosa to start...gobi aloo, palak masala and tarka dal as main...bread, rice and yoghurt to complete it...just fantastic...and a lovely waiter...we are coming back thats for sure...100 percent...thanks a lot for a wonderful evening

I have never had a Madras curry as skillfully spiced and cooked as the one I had here. Dish heaters kept it hot at the table, it was truly "Madras" in strength and contained authentic roasted spices. Waiting staff were friendly and polite and the set meal was a true bargain. Had to shake the chef's hand before I left it was that good (the Mrs enjoyed hers, too!)

Best tasting Indian we have ever had, we are used to English Indian food and I'm not sure we can go back.....

Excellent Indian restaurant in the heart of Alvor. Superb food at incredible value. The staff really went out of their way to impress us and we certainly were. Chicken jalfrezi and bhuna were both excellent. We've tried a few different Indian restaurants in Alvor and Flavor of India and Tasty Cuisine are by far the two best. They do a deal which includes poppadoms, starters, mains & sides all for two people for a total of €21.95. Amazing value and great food and very welcoming staff who gave us a free glass of port each before leaving. Its great to see owners and staff who take pride in their work. we'll be back!
