Omg loved it! We came on holiday the first night we were so tired and no restaurant was answering. We call this place up and oh my the food was super good! Deffo recommend this place!

Authentic Indian food with great service. We stayed at Carvoeiro for a week and thought of trying home made authentic Indian food and we were not disappointed.

Update The Halweli is under new management, I must say last night we took my sister's there and what a disappointment it was, the new manager with trainee in toe took our orders and totally messed it up, they bought plain rice instead of a plan naan, the food was not that of the restaurant that we love. There was only one of the original staff members who as usual was very helpful and very apologetic when I complained that the food was really salty and the chicken tough, not to mention that that got three out of four orders wrong. I hope this is only a glitch as it has been my go to Indian restaurant for a while. I only hope that the new people can make it better than it was last night.. My favourite is the chicken tikka Balti with extra corriander with pilau rice and peshwari naan, it is truly the moment wonderful of meals. The staff are welcoming, friendly and very efficient. We have been going back regularly and have never had a bad meal, next time we go will take pictures because I’m always in too much of a hurry to dig in. Bonus is that the one prices are very reasonably. Enjoy we do!!

The best Indian food we have eaten anywhere - ever! Delicious, freshly made food with excellent, friendly service. We found the staff to be very welcoming and accommodating, and they were happy to advise on the meal choices. Good drink options too.

Very affordable nice Indian food, staff is friendly and we didn't have to made a reservation up front. You can find the place on one of the main roads down towards the beach so it's easy to find. Not very romantic but not a problem at all if you are hungry.

We ate in here after looking at several reviews but to be honest this is far from the best Indian restaurant in Carverio. The food was ok but chicken tikka was as if it was just a paste on top of it, spicy onions just plain chopped onions, small nan bread which looked like just out a packet and chicken tikka very small in size and portion .

The best Indian restaurant in Carvoeiro, if not in the whole Algarve. Fantastic choices of dishes, all superbly cooked to your personal preference. Prices are very competitive and the staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and go that extra step to ensure your dining experience is one of the best you've enjoyed. The restaurant itself has indoor and outdoor seating, is pleasantly decorated and spotlessly clean. If you prefer, you can enjoy your meal at Haweli, take it home, or take it anywhere else to suit yourself. Definitely a restaurant to visit whenever you're in Carvoeiro.

Experiência muito agradável. Fomos orientados pelo senhor que nos serviu, e todas as escolhas foram acertadas. Penso que foi a primeira vez com comida indiana. Experiência muito positiva. Sabores muito fora do normal mas muito saboroso, bem condicionado e equilibrado. A repetir sem duvida. Apesar do aspeto pouco apetitoso de alguns pratos tudo estava muito bom.

Amazing Indian food . My husband and I went there last summer and were very impressed by the quality of the food. The only reason im deducting 1 star is when we went there even tho the staff were friendly , I felt they were talking alot to us which was kinda uncomfortable and my husband and I had no time to talk to eachother and enjoy our meal. My suggestion would be its good to be friendly and sweet but plz make sure to give customers their privacy so they can enjoy the overall experience.

An amazing chicken curry and a very tasty chicken tikka masala. Friendly and efficient service. This is our 5th or 6th time to eat here and not once have we had a bad meal. Highly recommended. Thank you guys for a lovely meal.

staff are very friendly, you get what you pay for, definitely! prices are reasonably cheap and the quality of the food is amazing, cannot fault this place. one thing I’d say is if you’re really hungry make sure you don’t order tons of stuff as tempting as it might seem at the time as the size of the plates are big and you will feel full very quickly and you will be unable to finish the rest of your order which is what happened with us unfortunately.

We went with 8 persons to Haweli, 2 kids and 6 adults. 3 adults are vegetarian. We had a great dinner, everyone enjoyed it very much. Inder, our waiter, was very friendly and helpful. He explained and gave us advice about the meals. The food is as awesome as the service of the whole staff, and all that for a good price. Thanks a lot!

took my son here for his 18th birthday with family and I can honestly say it was the best Indian food I’ve had abroad They spoke great English which made our evening very memorable when helping my son choose his very first legal alcohol drink at the bar . Nothing was to much trouble for these guys

Good North Indian food. Spice can be adjusted to your needs. Naan bread is fresh and you get chutneys served with your starters. Prices are reasonable and service from owner is lovely. The other staff need to be a little more friendly by talking to you instead of just putting the food on table. I would recommend to everybody.
