Good food which is above the average. The service was excellent until the end when we were almost forced to put a review on TripAdvisor or Google. The guy was so insistent that spoiled the all evening. It s ashame otherwise I would give 5 stars

Chef is from Punjab in India...so it can't get any more authentic north Indian than this. Good flavours. Food was pretty good and the staff was kind too. Neat and clean place although the ambience isn't very appealing. If you are looking for an Indian sit down or take away I would certainly recommend this one.

Excellent restaurant with fantastic staff.
A short.walk away from other restaurants, well with it. I ordered a dupiaza was was excellent. Staff were friendly and had a nice sense of humour too. Highly highly recommend

One of the best indian resturants i have visted in Albufeira. They have both non-veg and veg optoons. The staff are freindly and helpful. Loved the idea of a free shot after dinning for digestion. Recommend this place for sure.

Wife and I ate here the other night after a long day of traveling. Food was was very delicious and service excellent. They even sent us on our way with a free digestif...definitely heading back.

We arrived in Albufeira quite late and Jaipur was one of only a few restaurants open and just around the corner from where we’re staying. The delicious aromas lulled us in from outside and we were so happy we went. The food was delicious! We had 2 very tasty curries, chicken jalfrezi & a lamb with pepper sauce that was amazing! Super flavourful without being over the top spicy, (unless you want it spicy, then they do all the right things to kick it up a notch). Customer service was stellar, Abi was really great and it was fun to meet a fellow Vancouver transplant. Highly recommend!

This is an excellent place to grab food, especially if you're a fan of Indian cuisine. The location is small and it's a little bit of a walk from the beach, but it's well worth it. The food itself was great, some of the best Indian food I've had anywhere and they had a wide variety of options which is always appreciated. Service was also fantastic with our waiter being super friendly and attentive. Prices are also very reasonable for the amount of food you get.

So, so good! Delicious food, amazing service, wish we lived here and could visit all the time. The restaurant has high chairs and the server was very welcoming and understanding of our sometimes emotional toddler. The menu is extensive and available in English. I had the chicken tikka masala and loved it. Definitely a great place to stop in for dinner!

We went into town because it was the #1 restaurant in Albufeira on Tripadvisor and we needed some more spice to our meals (it seems Spice Lounge which is #3 is the same owners). It’s good Indian food, good price, flavorful but not that spicy hot - not the best I’ve ever had in my life but definitely satisfying. Filling (about 1 dish per person). No naan bread at lunch. It was very quiet at lunch time, we were the only table. We got a porto on the house at the end which was nice.

Very good Indian restaurant in Albufeira. Authentic and high quality food, good cozy atmosphere and very professional staff. Tried the mixed platter for starter and chicken madras and one of the chef's specials for mains - which we can all recommend. Prices are fair.

My friends and I dined at Jaipur on 13th June. From the minute we stepped into the restaurant we were made to feel so welcome and looked after. Our waiter Abhi was so attentive and made sure we had everything we wanted. The food was delicious! Will definitely go again. Thank you Abhi xxx

We have very little experience with Indian food but after tonight we have no problem recommending Jaipur. We both loved the food and the price was reasonable. Relaxed atmosphere and we've made the decision to come back for more. Was a great experience.

Excellent service Abhi our waiter very knowledgeable and very polite would talk to him all day if he wasn't working made us feel at home and remain very professional at the same time. And at end of the meal was very kind with his time along with the chef whom had a moment to share with us a small chat and made the night and time spent there even better food was very tasty and spiced just right willl return and recoomend to all I know who are travelling to albuferia. My small son loved also

The restaurant looked nice but the service was slow. The food was average at best. The drinks prices are extremely high, including water. Would not recommend or return.

Wonderful meal fresh king prawns, everything very fresh, open lunch in winter, half others are closed when they say open, spotless clean, lovely lady that waited on us, better then Indian at home uk, would be back every week if we lived here

The go-to standard bearer for Indian cuisine world wide. Great curries with diverse spices, they do great korma, and rogan ghosh as well as balti dishes. Garlic naan yum! We held out writing a review, but they truly deserve it. Friendly and consistent service, unassuming atmosphere in a nice part of town.

Nice authentic Indian Punjabi food.
We went with the lamb bhuna curry and chicken bhuna curry for our mains which were delicious. Pleasantly surprised by the overall experience of this little restaurant on the outskirts of the old town.

Had takeaway from Jaipur a few days ago, and we have also eaten in there on our last holiday to Albufeira. The food is very good - I had a vindaloo which was an authentic one as opposed to the English (extremely hot) version, and my wife had a biryani - both really good. I have worked in India (not Jaipur, but Kolkata and Mumbai), and love Indian food. The food from this restaurant is very good. Definitely recommended for eat in or takeaway.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Outstanding food with first class service. Akash and his team were wonderful with their service and the food was amazing. I will definitely come back.
HONEST REVIEW: To begin with the food was actually very tasty and it certainly left me feeling well fed. Being Indian myself I’m a huge critic about how Indian food tastes but Jaipur did actually do well! Now the honest part,and the end of my food Akash came over to me and said someone left him a bad review yesterday and his job is on the line asking if I could leave a 5* review for him to save him. I said I’ll do it on my walk back and he demanded I do it now and stood over me. Reading up on other honest reviews it seems like they do this a lot and I don’t know why because they do serve very tasty food and they should let the food do the talking. Anyway it’s worth going for the food but if Akash does ask you the same thing just show him this review :)

We have been going here for year's and I haven't had a bad meal. The staff are great and will help you with what you want less onion's or if you have a nut allergy just tell them and they will make sure everything is nut free, no problem.

Food was amazing, my boyfriend who hasn't experimented with indian food loved it as well. Staff were attentive and the prices were so reasonable. You can't sit outside unless the restaurant itself is at capacity, however that's not their fault, they explained it's a licensing issue.

Wouldnt normally go for an indian while away but when looking on TripAdvisor places to eat this was number 1. So went for it, and didnt disappoint, one of the best currys i have had. We got there early as gets very busy. When u arrive place doesnt look like much but food was outstanding.. again a must go.. we was tempted to eat there again but ran out of time..

Delicious dishes. Friendly staff. Price quality is very good. We were allowed to dine here in the summer, which was really delicious. We have taken both chicken dishes, which is really recommended. Also the appetizers, which we had to ask for, were tasty. No dessert taken.

REVIEWS ARE FAKE. THEY FORCE CUSTOMERS TO GIVE GOOD REVIEWS IN RESTAURANT READ WORST COMMENTS.
Rude! Slow!Ridiculous portions slow service.
We shared a started and was average and small.
Then we waited and waited around 30-35 min for the second on top of the time for the starters .
Butter chicken was all small bits of chicken, like they used sides from other dishes. Lamb was average but again tiny portions.
I demanded pay by card and leave. Here comes the best: waiter started asking me about the card, i couldn't understand. He wanted me to look at my phone to my bank? He asked few times before inserting the card.
Seems like he wanted me to check if i have balance!!!! This never happened to me.
I visited few Indians and even the best indian in Spain were you can just go by booking a table, spent , ate and paid much more money with no such ways.
Stop forcing costumers to give good reviews in front you. I read few comments already.

The food was great, as was the staff. Very friendly, very helpful, had an excellent experience. The atmosphere is calm and pleasant. They offered us complimentary drinks at the end of our meal, which was fantastic! All in all, would recommend coming here for an enjoyable meal in a nice place!

An amazing restaurant that has the best food I have eaten so far while in Portugal. The staff are very friendly and will do anything to ensure a pleasurable experience. The food is superb and highly recommend for people looking for something other than the British pub food the majority of restaurants in the area offer. Reasonably priced and a shot on the house that was a perfect finish to the evening.

Let me start by saying that those who have rated this restaurant highly have either never been to a decent Indian restaurant in their lives or the entire crew must have changed since their review.
The place smells as you enter. They must have forgotten to air the place. The papadum old and smelly. The onion baji old and smell of oil. We ordered mixed platter for starters. A mistake! Not only very small portion but not tasty at all.
I ordered lamb biryani and it was at best average.
Enter and eat at your peril.

While in Portugal we wanted a nice curry .We were not disappointed the staff are friendly and attentive and the food is fresh and tasty. In fact it was ALL delicious so if you are in Portugal away from home and you want something hot and comforting that is very good value for your Euro .get yourself and your friends to JAIPUR Restaurant .
